Contrary to popular belief, Tyler does have a conscience and it was screaming at him. Kissing for fun doesn't bother him. Riley's attractive and makes him feel good but, he doesn't want to ruin their friendship. So if this means something more to her - something deeper, they'll have to stop before it gets too far.

"Riles," he places his hand on her cheek and slowly brushes his thumb down her lips. They were soft and pink, he wonders who else she's kissed with them. All throughout high school, he can't remember seeing her with a boyfriend. Jake has tried to get into her pants countless times but, each advancement was met with a rebuttal. Tyler used to love watching her from the sideline, making the self-proclaimed ladies' man look like a reject.

"I like it. I think you're hot." Slipping his fingers underneath her chin, he raises her mouth and presses his lips to hers again. This time he moans when she opens her mouth and he makes contact with her tongue. In certain ways she reminds him of Olivia. They were sweet and careful like this in the orphanage. Tyler was a virgin and so was she. They spent weeks learning how to have sex before they were good at it. But despite Riley's chasteness, he doesn't assume she's never been with a man. Not when she looks like the perfect girl next door. "Feeling better?" he breathes into her mouth before ending the kiss.

Riley stays perfectly silent, too afraid to move or speak and risk puncturing the moment between them. His lips on her forehead triggers the closing of her eyes and as he makes his way down her cheek, nearing her lips, her eyes remain closed. Maybe if she can't see him, she won't be disappointed when he inevitably doesn't give her what she wants.

On the contrary though.... he surprises her with a soft press of his lips against hers. It was so light and so soft at first, Riley almost suspected that she'd imagined it.

But then she felt something warm and wet gloss over her lips and probe her mouth, which she recognized as Tyler's tongue!

Parting her mouth to speak, Riley practically invites his tongue to invade the inside of her cheeks. She always dreamed of what it would be like to kiss him, or have him kiss her. She'd often lay awake at night and picture Tyler coming into her room. He'd confess his feelings for her and they'd make out all night long. Sometimes, he'd even slip a hand under her shirt and caress her stomach and breasts until she came.

It didn't go that far now but, Riley wouldn't be opposed if it did when she finally opens her eyes to see his mouth dangling in front of hers. "Good." It's all she can manage to say, seeing as the breath he stole from her lips hadn't returned to her lungs yet. "Can we try it again? A bit longer this time..." Not to be greedy but one kiss wasn't enough for her to decide whether she had her fill.

After letting go of their hands, Riley places both of hers on Tyler's shoulders as he remains seated on her bed. She's tempted to push the leather jacket down his arms so she could reveal the sight of his biceps but, she's trying to be respectful and brace herself. Besides, she's not even sure he enjoyed kissing her as much as she enjoyed kissing him. "Did you like it, or was it too weird?"

in my dream last night they released a bill cipher themed soda called Decipher and I tried to go get some but insane wacky nonsense kept interrupting me before I could. I mean the nonsense had to do with the plot of the rest of the dream but it just kept showing up at the exact moment that I was about to get my soda. Ive just remembered the plot of the rest of the dream was that all of the straw hat piratds were there at tbis theme park we were in and some other group of pirates were trying to bully nico robin. the other pirate group was goth btw. their captain almost died from getting splashed with acid (by nico robin) (it was justified). But I didnt see that happen bc really I was mostly focused on getting my dumb soda.

controversially I do think that the under the red hood comic ending is a solid answer to “how do you get Batman to kill someone without breaking him as a character”

#That is if you think Jason died at the end of utrh which I sorta do #they were arguing about this exact thing on Twitter the other day and someone brought up the utrh movie ending. I was like nah. Bring up th #Other one. Bruce was in a situation where he was trying to save two people who were determined to either die or kill the other person #(or kill everyone in the room maybe) and by trying to do the typical Batman thing and choose neither/both of them. They took the opportunit #to choose for him. Joker takes the opportunity to set off the explosives sealing Jason’s fate and in a new favorite interpretation of mine:#Jason chooses not to dodge the batarang and lets Bruce deal him a fatal blow.
