Basically this au (or an addition to any other au ) Jekylls parents play a role in the story.

Margaret and Ernest

^ My most recent art of Jekylls mom Margaret, she plays a bigger role in the story

^ My first art of them both(was trying to figure out their designs) Margarets red dress ended up being her newer clothing and orange one is her in the past.

^My full body refs of them a bit later. I hid Ernests eyes because i couldn't decide which eye colour to give him, green, so that he kinda looks like hyde, or brown. Ended up choosing brown but that may change in the future.

^Mix with encanto i watched at the time (not the biggest fan of this drawing their head sizes are weird)

^ Andd art with her missing her past and regreting her actions (mm trauma ☺️)

^ In those 3 drawings you can see i wanted to give her a lot of old spots before the initial desing (first picture) but ended up making less of them.

So uhh yeah thats a lot, now to context:

Margaret

[she/her] [60 y.o] [a doctor]

Hers and Ernests marriage was against their will so they have only platonic attraction

She inherited a hospital as a bisness. She is both a boss but also sometimes performs surgeries.

her shortened story [tw mention of death, abuse and depression]:

she was born in arranged marriage family.

her mothers murder was planned and made by her father (who is a leader of a mafia) because family would mess with his (secret) bisness. He sent a infected by him with rabies werewolf

but Margaret survived so he decided to leave her alive, but he used her only for his needs and was abusive and manipulative

She also had later o an arranged marriage with a man (Ernest) she knew from childhoid, but they only ever had platonic feelings for each other

Because of her father threatening her with leaving her with nothing to inherit from her family in his will, which would literally leave her on the streets, if she wouldn't have a child with her husband. At age 25 she had Jekyll.

Margaret grew with prejudice towards magical creatures and mad scientists (because of her mothers murder and the society's influence).

So when she found out her husband helps magical creatures and scientists (hid them from police in a little house in the woods) she on emotions went to the police.

Ernest was imprisoned. Where he died

so it become just her and her son now

for her son it was a hard hit, he loved his father very much

So resentment stayed with him

And Margaret also wasn't able to forgive herself ever since

She also was hyper-protective to her son and often manipulated him out of what she thought will be best for him

So one day they had a big fight because her son, Henry, wanted to create a place where the "mad" scientist who are in bad situation can have a chance to improve and not fear police anymore. She have done an ultimatum, that if he does that, he could never come back. (Or alternatively, when he changes his mind)

So he left, she was now alone, but instead of trying to fix what she had done, her pride didnt let her. Each passing year she convinced herself he will come back. For about 10 years.

she regretted her choices, her actions was haunting her which dived her into depression

But after a hard path, she will come to terms with herself.

That will happen after she will come to society to support it financially. And reunites with her son after them making peace with each other. Which dosent mean forgiveness from Jekylls side.

Alsoo there may be a sub plot about her and Frankenstein becoming "roomates".

Ernest

Well, he was a very positive and caring person. Despite that not that mature or responsible, Margaret was the responsible one. And face of the family.

While he was a househusband, and spent time with Jekyll. Thay got in trouble because Ernest didnt really twice while even little Jekyll sometimes was like "welp thats not a very good idea".

Also considering Ernest maybe inspiring Jekyll to be an alchemist. But himself he most likely had completely other interest. But still supported his son, unlike Margaret.

Mad scientists and creatures he cared for was caught with him, but they managed to escape.

His parents were mostly ignorant of his existence, exept for when that would make them a profit (like with the arranged marriage) . So he promised himself he would always care for Jekyll (🥲)

As to him and Margaret, they were pals, he always was with her when she finally was finally opening up to him. But hid his own feelings under a happy mask.

Was the same age as Margaret. Died when he was 36 (went to jail when he was 35) no one really knows what happened.

(i actually most of the time before were considering him to be alive and Margaret lying that he died, but i changed that for storys sake, i didnt felt like he had much of a purpose in the current status when jekyll is 35. BUT THAT MAY ALSO CHANGE IN THE FUTURE)

So in where hes alive version

I remember vividly daydreaming about jekyll/hyde being exited to see his/their dad after so many years, cleaning society etc while lodgers are confused. Him coming and jekyll being very exited and emotional but not knowing how to tell lodgers. Later on Margaret will come as she recieved an invitation by jekyll, which was actually written by Ernest to reunite their family. (Kinda sugar sweet compared to ver. where he died)

So uhh yeah this au was one of the most thinked about by me. Now not that much but its not forgotten ‼️

The Traveling Circus AU

(Not a full fic, just rambling thoughts on this Lucifer/F!Reader idea)

Traveling circuses were pretty popular in 1930s America, and apparently they were free to attend — So you swallowed back your trepidation in getting out of your room and attended the newest circus to come to your sleepy little town.

The Romance

I’m so sorry but this has to be the way Lucifer learns of Reader’s existence:

He sees you and is instantly in love. Love at First Sight does exist in this AU because I say so.

You’re “nothing special”, or so you claim. You’re an unwed working woman in the 30s and therefore seen as undesirable. Your biggest privilege is that unlike a lot of ‘spinsters’ that struggle under the weight of meager wages and no family, you’ve avoided homelessness by renting out a room from an old widow. You work as her personal seamstress day and night, so you have damaged, aching hands and have developed mild agoraphobia.

Lucifer has a knack for getting people out of their comfort zone though. You’re charmed by how his showman persona on stage is contradicted by his earnest bumbling as he tries to get to know you. Your fear of other people is somehow swayed enough to allow him to take your hands in his, to let him see the rough, imperfect skin and still call you beautiful.

It’s also heartwarming to see him with his little daughter Charlie, who follows after him like a duckling and takes a shine to you just like her father. Her presence makes it easier to trust this stranger (who unbeknownst to you is the Devil himself).

The other Sins definitely take notice of how shaken and unlike himself Lucifer becomes in the middle of a show and, since they’re all nosy and love drama, they conspire and gossip about what has their Ringmaster in such a funk until the truth comes out.

Other details

Not sure yet if I want Barnum & Bailey to still exist or if Hell’s Circus troupe takes its place — if it’s the latter, that would mean that Lucifer is the P.T. Barnum equivalent here 🥲 but ofc he’s more like TGS’s version and not the actual awful human being

Lucifer and Lilith were never in love/married here. They were close after the Eden incident but it was mostly trauma-based bonding over a common enemy. So I’m also not sure if I wanna inject a little Pinocchio into this and have Charlie be made by Lucifer as a little doll brought to life by his earnest wish or if it’s simply ‘Lilith disappeared way earlier while they were co-parenting and Lucifer became even more of a single dad’ or even ‘Lilith didn’t want the baby so Lucifer kept her’.

Taking from the post I RB’d, here’s the lineup of our Sins and their roles:

Ringmaster - Lucifer

Strongman - Satan

Animal Tamer - Beelzebub

Fire Breather - Asmodeus

Clown - Mammon

Freak show - Leviathan

Magician - Belphegor

The Sins all have unique relationships with each other —

Lucifer and Satan constantly butt heads (although it’s usually Satan’s beef bc he has a chip on his shoulder over not being the leader)

Satan goes to Belphegor to complain, even though she’s mostly spaced out on hookah smoke from her crystal ball (she’s a combined magician and fortune teller) so is only half-listening

Meanwhile, Belphegor has to ration said laced smoke to prevent Bee from asking for more after a few too many benders (many done without Belphie’s permission or even her knowledge) but when Bee takes anything she takes the most she can get of it and doesn’t understand why that’s such a problem

Levi agrees, but goes behind Bee’s back to say otherwise. And Mammon loves to see the backstabbing in real time because while Greed and Gluttony pair well together, he and Bee are separate entities unfortunately and therefore have to split assets.

Mammon hates the fact that he has to share workers with the others, but has no problem taking imps from Satan to be his clown entourage. They make him so much money, why should he be sorry T-T

And Asmodeus may be the closest thing to Bailey in this Barnum & Bailey operation, but he’s also got his shortcomings — those orgies with human attendants can get a little too time-consuming and he’s been late to perform for a general audience more than once

Unlike canon, there is an integral connection between Hell and Earth/Humanity — the Sins thrive on human beings partaking in their namesakes, so this circus is a fun way to encourage that

It also may be Lucifer’s way of doing the job his dear old Dad assigned him and Lucifer is pretty grumpy about it… but he enjoys being a showman putting on performances for his captivated audience

All of the workers that perform with the Sins are hellfolk, many of whom are disguised as humans unless they’re the “freaks” on display. They’re all very chaotic and delight in being tricksters who also thief and murder while fulfilling their respective Sin’s quota.

Oh wow yeah so TGS is VERY complicated but I will answer to the absolute best of my ability. Yap session incoming:

How did Lloyd meet(?) ghosts? < so, this is pretty early. Lloyd is something called the Conduit (original I know) which means he's a liminal person with unfettered access to the Veil's energy - basically, he's the death avatar. he doesn't know this, though, because Misako's been keeping it secret by having him wear a vengestone/deepstone ring (i haven't decided which kind of stone to use yet) that suppresses this stuff. he also lives in a very not-liminal area. however, after getting moved to Jamanakai, he's surrounded by liminal energy. Harumi, who rlly wants him using his powers, gets him to take a job at the local graveyard. a few weeks in, he's shot while going home late at night. when he wakes up, he discovers he can suddenly see ghosts. He meets the Ninja ghosts bc he decides to go back to the graveyard to 'confront' his trauma after being shot, only to find five different ghosts Very Excited to bother him haha

Does Red ever get mad at Quiet One over shapeshifting? < hmm idrk? I haven't thought ab this one too much haha. she definitely hates Harumi post-reveal, and hates Quiet One on principle, but I don't think she has much beef with the actual shapeshifting so much as the steps taken to get there (aka murder and cannibalism sorry Harumi babe). Honestly, she's more pissed off about being lied to and manipulated than anything post-reveal, and pre-reveal she just doesn't want the fucking world to end. Also, Q is annoying. that's. that's the whole thing of their relationship pre-reveal, Q play-flirts with Red and Red finds her annoying lmao

How are the three of them friends AND enemies (delicious, but. how)? < fantastic question! so, this au was completely upended from being just Lloyd and Harumi centric with a side of Akita to full on Lloyd, Akita, and Harumi because of the anime SpyxFamily I'm not even joking. So, basically: in 'civilian' form, they all attend the same school. Lloyd meets both of them his first day, and gets super attached immediately bc they're actually Nice to him (he doesn't have friends what a loser /j). He doesn't know either's true identity. Akita gets attached to Lloyd as well bc she's been isolated for a while, and for a hot minute she and Harumi are Friend-In-Laws. Harumi is purposefully manipulating Lloyd, but eventually her love for both of them becomes real. Once ghosts start Doing Shit around town, Lloyd starts Vigilante-ing to protect Harumia and Akita, following a school-wide possession. The Quiet One is trying to kidnap him for his powers, and is the one summoning said ghosts. Red is trying to kill them both - Harumi, bc she's actively trying to end the world, and Lloyd simply bc he has the potential to (an 'eliminate the threat' situation) - to protect Harumi and Lloyd. So: Harumi knows Conduit is Lloyd, doesn't know Red is Akita. Akita doesn't know either identity. Lloyd also doesn't know either identity. It's like Miraculous but with murder and body horror

What’s Harumi’s whole… deal? < hoooo boy. so... hm. okay. Gonna do this rlly fast and simplistically so if you want some deeper info send me more asks. So: at 6, she contracts Veil Sickness (Veil-based disease that affects liminal ppl) and dies. Her parents find the Preeminent's cult and give up their own lives to resurrect her - this has not been replicated. This is the story she is told when she wakes up in a pool of blood. In reality, her and her parents were targeted as part of the cult's experiments with resurrection. She is told she is evil bc to bring her back, her parents' souls have been broken beyond repair, and cannot move on to the afterlife. They're trapped in eternal agony, tied to their decaying bodies. fun. Eventually, it comes to light that Harumi has developed the ability to shapeshift into anything she kills and eats the corpse of. She is manipulated into using her unique powerset to aid the Preeminent's escape from the Veil. She's manipulating Lloyd bc the Conduit is the only one who can power the Realm Crystal, which is the only thing that can bring the Preeminent through. She thinks the Preeminent will fix her parents if she does this. Obviously she won't, but. y'know. In the AU proper, Harumi is: Harumi the best friend, Quiet One, Jade the stray cat, Brad the eventual boyfriend (oof), and mysterious shooter. She's very very fun to me personally I love her so much and istg she gets a redemption arc. the entire fic is her redemption arc even if it doesn't look it I SWEAR

These skins are townified, meaning that new townies and NPCs that spawn can get them. They are also geneticized, meaning that they have genetic values that inform which skintones will be given to babies born in game. Basically babies will always get skintones that fall in between or on the skintones that their biological parents have, as is the case for the four default skintones.

You can see the genetic value that I assigned to a skin at the end its file name. Example: "1_Whysim_MiscSkinBlend32TG_0.05.package" → this skin has a genetic value of 0.05. The skins that are S1-S4 default replacements have respective genetic values of 0.1, 0.3, 0.6 and 0.9. For more info on that and to learn how to change a custom skin's genetic value, see Rikkulidea's tutorial.

If you don't want all 22 skins but just a selection, feel free to pick and choose and it won't disrupt anything when it comes to genetics (if you want to mix them with other skins however, you may want to make sure that all the genetic values really are in a sequence from lightest to darkest). If on the other hand you think 22 skins isn't enough, check you @esotheria-sims's 97 geneticized skins 💖

Noragami TG AU

Since I'm on my TG fixation and possibly reawakening my Noragami fixation, let's mash em together for maximum happy chemicals.

I know I want full-ghoul Nora, specifically a Deep 24th-Ward denizen, not only for character reasons - outwardly ruthless murder-child with a very different conception of right and wrong, and a very particular lack of knowledge about human society. But. Also for aesthetic reasons - "prefers traditional clothing" to an anachronistic degree, sunless paleness, makeup style that is distinct as a culturally ghoul aesthetic, to go with Nora's visual sense of otherness in her character design. Even the scale pattern/texture of her ayakashi form in canon would go so well as the visually distinctive look that Deep 24th Ward denizens have to their kagunes, with its white scales that have black eye-like spots in the middle.

I'm not sure if I want Yato or Yukine (or maybe even Father) as a natural one-eye, BUT I do know who's getting their life shaken upside-down and thrown out the window after being hit with the Experimental Malpractice stick...

Hiyori.

Now, the real scary, give-her-trauma question is who's going to be the doctor. After all, Hiyori's family are doctors.... OH. Oh for extra pain, instead of Dr. Mal Practice being cold or malicious like TG's Kanou, it's done out of great and terrible, desperate parental love.

Hiyori's parents try to save her life by implanting a kakuhou, and now have to deal with what that does to their daughter. Meanwhile Hiyori has to wrestle with her parents doing a dangerous permanent, drastically life-changing surgery on her that she was too injured to give consent for - one that changes her life in really fucked-up ways, at that, and makes her have essentially non-person status in society.

^My full body refs of them a bit later. I hid Ernests eyes because i couldn't decide which eye colour to give him, green, so that he kinda looks like hyde, or brown. Ended up choosing brown but that may change in the future.

So uhh yeah thats a lot, now to context:

Margaret

Hers and Ernests marriage was against their will so they have only platonic attraction

She inherited a hospital as a bisness. She is both a boss but also sometimes performs surgeries.

her shortened story [tw mention of death, abuse and depression]:

she was born in arranged marriage family.

her mothers murder was planned and made by her father (who is a leader of a mafia) because family would mess with his (secret) bisness. He sent a infected by him with rabies werewolf

but Margaret survived so he decided to leave her alive, but he used her only for his needs and was abusive and manipulative

She also had later o an arranged marriage with a man (Ernest) she knew from childhoid, but they only ever had platonic feelings for each other

Because of her father threatening her with leaving her with nothing to inherit from her family in his will, which would literally leave her on the streets, if she wouldn't have a child with her husband. At age 25 she had Jekyll.

Margaret grew with prejudice towards magical creatures and mad scientists (because of her mothers murder and the society's influence).

So when she found out her husband helps magical creatures and scientists (hid them from police in a little house in the woods) she on emotions went to the police.

Ernest was imprisoned. Where he died

so it become just her and her son now

for her son it was a hard hit, he loved his father very much

So resentment stayed with him

And Margaret also wasn't able to forgive herself ever since

She also was hyper-protective to her son and often manipulated him out of what she thought will be best for him

So one day they had a big fight because her son, Henry, wanted to create a place where the "mad" scientist who are in bad situation can have a chance to improve and not fear police anymore. She have done an ultimatum, that if he does that, he could never come back. (Or alternatively, when he changes his mind)

So he left, she was now alone, but instead of trying to fix what she had done, her pride didnt let her. Each passing year she convinced herself he will come back. For about 10 years.

she regretted her choices, her actions was haunting her which dived her into depression

But after a hard path, she will come to terms with herself.

That will happen after she will come to society to support it financially. And reunites with her son after them making peace with each other. Which dosent mean forgiveness from Jekylls side.

Alsoo there may be a sub plot about her and Frankenstein becoming "roomates".

Ernest

Well, he was a very positive and caring person. Despite that not that mature or responsible, Margaret was the responsible one. And face of the family.

While he was a househusband, and spent time with Jekyll. Thay got in trouble because Ernest didnt really twice while even little Jekyll sometimes was like "welp thats not a very good idea".

Also considering Ernest maybe inspiring Jekyll to be an alchemist. But himself he most likely had completely other interest. But still supported his son, unlike Margaret.

Mad scientists and creatures he cared for was caught with him, but they managed to escape.

His parents were mostly ignorant of his existence, exept for when that would make them a profit (like with the arranged marriage) . So he promised himself he would always care for Jekyll (🥲)

As to him and Margaret, they were pals, he always was with her when she finally was finally opening up to him. But hid his own feelings under a happy mask.

Was the same age as Margaret. Died when he was 36 (went to jail when he was 35) no one really knows what happened.

(i actually most of the time before were considering him to be alive and Margaret lying that he died, but i changed that for storys sake, i didnt felt like he had much of a purpose in the current status when jekyll is 35. BUT THAT MAY ALSO CHANGE IN THE FUTURE)

So in where hes alive version

I remember vividly daydreaming about jekyll/hyde being exited to see his/their dad after so many years, cleaning society etc while lodgers are confused. Him coming and jekyll being very exited and emotional but not knowing how to tell lodgers. Later on Margaret will come as she recieved an invitation by jekyll, which was actually written by Ernest to reunite their family. (Kinda sugar sweet compared to ver. where he died)

So uhh yeah this au was one of the most thinked about by me. Now not that much but its not forgotten ‼️

this time, inspired by all those wing au’s, and demons. angel and demon symbolism.

here’s the overview;

Each person is born with an animal attribute that speaks to their future; their personality, omens, etc

To the horror of his protestant parents, Jekyll’s traits were demonic; long horns, wings, and clawed nails. Bright red eyes.

(Wings that were half demonic, but also angelic. Jet black, with a clawed frame. But also with fluffy, soft layered feathers.)

From a young age, these things were suppressed. (Nails and horns filed off. Wings bound. The eyes, unable to be hidden, had to remain, which they did not like.)

Jekyll doesn’t mind the traits at first, but he doesn’t have a choice about whether to keep them or not. He grows to despise them. (Who wouldn’t? When they were always called bad, evil, sinful, something to be hidden away…)

High society expects repression of these traits and the behaviors centered around them (When the standard of high society is someone polite, as human as possible, and restrained, it is not very gentlemanly to be growling at others hmm?) which Jekyll took to well, seeing as he already had to do that.

-Brings new light to Jekyll’s statement of ‘even I have monstrous thing about me!’

-Hyde lets themself show those traits. Cuts holes in their shirts to let their wings out and stretches them out, lets his nails grow out and even paints them, and lets their horns show.

From first sight, everyone knows he’s trouble, and he loves that.

(Hyde is about showing the things they were forced to hide. Those things he repressed, but always wanted to show. So he laughs at that fear! Laughs joyfully! They don’t have to hide anymore! Their wings don’t have to cry out to open at the end of the day! They don’t have to get an annoying crook in them! and no more fighting against a file to get their horns as flat and unnoticeable as possible! he’s having a great time!)

But this also causes Hyde to desperately avoids Lanyon; traits are far to similar to Jekyll’s, who both Hastie and Henry believe is unique. (It’s not, but certainly rarer than others.)

yes there are infinite ones ^_^ and also maur tyrannical pope au. sg!maur is in charge of keeping track of all the maur aus and umbra's dad. basically there are a few Characters that will infinitely repeat and will always meet at least once in the Story and those are umbra, maur, umbras original parents, and thats it i think. for every au's specific Character there is a card that represents them somewhere in tg!umb or sg!maur's collections (hence my oc sideblog's name). if these cards are ripped the Character basically ceases to be and everyone forgets them forever except tg!umb and sg!maur. this is also why gude is an Anomaly since they are not supposed to be important to the Story. if i go on any longer i think i will be derailing the convo so tldr yes Many maurs
