Summary:

Robert might be stupid when it comes to science and magic non sense, but there's one thing he know for sure.

They fucking sucks.

Robert Lanyon is currently sitting on a coffee table in front of a small coffee shop, a cup of black coffee on his hand. It's unusual for Robert to cuss both externality nor internally, but he doesn't think he care anymore at this point as he watches people goes by, minding their own businesses, clueless. He sits leg crossed on the chain, gaining weird looks from the people passing, but It is only 8 more hours till the day resets anyway, he doesn't have the mind to care at all.

OR

Robert Accidentally messes with an artifact belonged to one of the lodger and is forced to relive the same day over and over again.

Chapter I: Melodies of a Soul

Summary:

In a world where everyone could hear the songs of their soulmate, Robert Lanyon didn't want to follow this "fate" that he can't choose the people he'll spend the rest of his life with, he doesn't like that even life itself was trying to control his life, therefore he refused to sing, and refuse to follow the one he's hearing.

Meanwhile Henry Jekyll couldn't hear any song in return his whole life, accepting his fate that he might ends up alone.

All I can think of for the magpie au is Lanyon helping Jekyll preen his feathers-

A very big brain mental image which I have drawn accordingly for u :)

Considering how hard it is to reach certain parts of your back without wings I imagine it’s harder with them. If Jekyll eventually figures a way around that (comb on a stick and a mirror) it’s fairly tedious, so if Lanyon offers to help it would be an offer that would be difficult to refuse.

Summary:

The meeting got both Jekyll and Lanyon nervous, and non of them know how to process their own problems from finally seeing each others again.
