It’s so funny to me that Alex and Mandroid know each other

What's really tragic about Mandroid is that it's heavily implied that he was a nice and good person before his accident. I find it hard to believe Alex would've been friends with him if Mandroid was an asshole to begin with. Also the fact that the writers would've been very upfront if he was an asshole prior to losing his arm.

The show does actually give us a glimpse of what Mandroid used to be like and that's during his conversation with Dot in Age of Evolution.

He's calm and polite to her, even after she punches and insults him. Notice how he has none of his usual smugness when talking to her. It's also the only time he smiles normally. His character was the perfect chance to explore the themes ES wanted to do, but the writers blew it.

it’s been a little while

Alex and Dr Meridian, much younger, and probably when they were still studying at University. I like to think they were very close, like brothers. A shame the show didn’t allude more to their friendship, cause clearly they had one once. I kept imagining what they would look like, rather carefree and genuinely happy 🥲

I feel like the Burns family would've handled Mandroid's trauma differently than the Maltos. I mean, he'd still get called out on his shit, but he'd also get some actual empathy (mostly from Cody) instead of "Suck it up and get over it."

Secret Legacy pt: 2

Chapter 11

How long was she asleep for? Her mind was still buzzing after those voices took a hold of her.

“OBEY, YOU WRERCHED VARMIN”

“LISTEN TO YOUR MASTERS”

“OBEY EVERY COMMAND.”

Twitch’s body was still shaking, she can’t do this again. She can’t, she can’t, SHE CAN’T!

Then all of her fear started to disappear when she heard voices. Their voices.

“Twitch, please wake up!”

“We don’t want to lose you!”

Her spark fluttered with pride. They miss her, they want her to survive. She wasn’t gonna let this voice take a hold of her. She was gonna wake up. For Robby, for Mo, and . . . for Thrash. She forced her body to get up or to open her eyes to see the world. Nothing happened.

“Come on body” she growled “ Don’t fail me now!”

With all of her might, she forced herself to open her eyes. She was immediately blinded by a bright blue light. She winced in pain as she clutches her eyes with her hands.Now she knew why her eyes weren’t opening.

“I’m awake!” Twitch felt a feeling of warmth when she started to get up. She shot straight up to see Robby, he wasn’t there. Neither was Mo or Thrash. She was not in the woods anymore. She was in a giant warehouse, the windows were cracked and spider like figures scuffled into the darkness. Then she noticed a man that was a few feet away holding something. A few feet too close.

“Ahh, you’re awake.” The Man said taking off his goggles. The man had black hair with a noticeable jawline. He looked like he hadn’t sleep in days. Twitch then noticed that his right hand was made out of metal. Humans don’t have metal arms. Did he steal it? Did he kill . . . Thrash? The arm wasn’t light-ish red but he could’ve painted over it.

“Now, Twitch, how do you feel?” The man put a hand on her shoulder. “Do you know where you are?” Twitch looked at him dead in the eyes.

“NOT. WITH . ROBBY” Twitch growled. She violently punched The man and zipped through the warehouse. That weird Man tried to call her back, as she zipped through the warehouse. Where was Mo? Twitch thoughts almost got her attacked as a weird looking spider bot almost killed her.Twitch started to the dodge those Spider bots as they tried to grab her. It was hard to fly around, her wings started to hurt bad. Like really bad. So bad to the point that she struggled to doge those little spider bots.

One of them actually got a surprise jump on her. She fell to the ground as more of the spider bots closed in on her.

“LET ME GO!”

Twitch started to thrash around, trying to get those spider bots to leave. It didn’t work. She was overwhelmed and was tired. The pain on her wings soon spread to her whole body.She fell to her knees, exhausted. She has to find them, she can’t give up now!

“You shouldn’t have overworked yourself, your body needs to heal.”

The man that she punched walked closer as the spider bots moved away.

“Also,” he rubbed his nose that Twitch actually broke. “You are a heavy hitter.”

Twitch didn’t know if she could take that as a compliment but she did anyway. The man came closer and knelt down right in front of her.

“Where. Is . Robby and Mo?” Twitch growled as she looked straight into the man’s eyes. She tried to look as menacing as she could. Unfortunately, the man didn’t look that scared.

“Ah, your friends?” The man said with a smile. “They’re in the waiting room, well, it’s not really a waiting room but it still works like one.” The man gave Twitch a sheepish smile.

“Would you like to see them?” The man asked, slowly holding out his hand to Twitch.

Twitch didn’t say anything as she slowly started to get up. She looked down as she slowly nodded.

“What about my brother?” Twitch quietly said.

“Pardon? I didn’t quite catch that?” The man said. Twitch looked up at him. He had a soft, concerned smile on his face.

“My brother, Thrash” Twitch said. A little louder. “Is he okay, did you hurt him?” The Man gave her a reassuring smile.

“No, I didn’t hurt your brother , he’s alright.” The man started to lead her away.

“My name is Doctor Meridian and you my dear are in good hands.”

Thank god Twitch was alright. The moment Twitch saw them the moment she gave them a big hug. Robby was just happy that Twitch was alright but was extremely tired and she complained that her wings still hurt. Dr. Meridian suggested a quick scan to see what was wrong. Robby hesitated but agreed to it. Now here he was, standing next to Mo as Meridian did his scan.

“How long do you think this scan is gonna take?” Mo asked.

“Don’t know” Robby said “Let’s hope it doesn’t take too long.”

There was ding before an image of a Twitch and Thrash appeared on a screen.

“Ah, I see the problem.” Meridian said as he looked at screen. “seems that Twitch’s wings are starting to lock up, causing the pain. It seems that her wings aren’t responding correctly to the rest of body causing flying to be more difficult.” He look away from the screen to face them. “My recommendation is for Twitch to take a brake from flying for a while.”

Twitch grumbled but seemed okay with it. Robby was ready to go, he had enough of being in this building long enough and he knows that Mom and dad will kill them if they don’t hurry up.

“Can we go doctor?” Thrash asked as he twilled his fingers. Meridian stared at the screen as he murmured something that Robby couldn’t hear. He soon turned around as Thrash said his question louder.

“Oh yes, of course you all can go.” Meridian said. “I just was just surprised that you two have earth and Cybertronian attributes.”Robby did not like where this was going.

“What do you mean?” Thrash asked.

Meridian grabbed a pad of a desk and he started to walk around.

“You look like Cybertronians but-“ he cut himself off as he looked down at his tablet.

“What are you two?”

“Transformers!” Twitch said gleefully. Meridian looked at the them with confusion. Thrash and Twitch look at each other before looking back at the doctor. “we think . . .” Thrash finished Twitch’s sentence.

“Hmm, not Cybertronus Cybertronii” Meridian said as he looked back at the screen.

“But Cybertronus Terrans!”

Mo wasn’t really big a scientific names but at least the name was cool. Meridian let them go as the scan was complete. He even gave them more candy! After that, They were walking to the exit of the warehouse

“Thank you for helping us, Mr. Mandroid!”

There was long silence before anyone said anything. Thrash was so confused what he said wrong.

“Thrash!“ Mo jumped up looking horrified.

“You can’t say that, it’s rude.”

Thrash looked so confused.

“But” Thrash started as he looked on the ground.

“Since he names us, we should give him a nickname right? Part human, part droid.”

Thrash suddenly raised his hands with excitement.

“Mandroid!”

Mo wanted die on the spot. Then, Mandroid started to laugh. Mo didn’t know if this laugh was a “good joke laugh” or “I’m going to murder you all laugh.” It turns out to be the former.

“It’s good nickname Thrash, but I would like to be called Dr. Meridian.” Mo and Robby took a breath of relief.

“Now you kids should head back home befo-“

He didn’t get to finish his sentence when the front doors of the warehouse were blasted down. The silhouette of Optimus Prime and Megatron standing menacing in front of them.

“It seems you children can’t catch a break.”
