Remember that this happened in Texas so most of the victims will have little to no health insurance. Further it is a “right to work state” so they’re likely to not get paid for sick days due to this and may even be fired for not being able to report to work.

This is the result of three decades of Republican rule. A Democrat has not won state office there since Bob Bullock won the lieutenant governor’s race in 1994.

Santa's Rocket Ship, early 1960s. Managed out of Tyler, Texas. A custom-built aluminium bus, 40 ft long, 12 ft. 6 in. high and 8 ft wide with seating capacity for 65 children. Each year Santa would visit many towns before Christmas.
