Jimbo Fisher
Physique: Average Build Height: 5'8" (1.73 m)
John James "Jimbo" Fisher Jr. (born October 9, 1965) is a former American college football coach who most recently served as the head coach of the Texas A&M Aggies from 2018 until 2023. Prior to that, he led the Florida State Seminoles to a BCS National Championship victory in 2014.
Taking a real look at Jimbo… I want to fuck him. Makes me wonder why I didn’t watch him when he was at FSU. Oh I know why, I hated FSU, which is surprising because I wanted to fuck Bobby Bowden. Now that I think about it, Bowden did have a hot coaching staff. Fisher of course, I remember wanting to dump a load on Chuck Amato’s chest, Mickey Andrews looked like a good fuck and what can I say about Brad Scott. Anyway, now I’m going to pay more attention to Jimbo from now on.
Born in Clarksburg, West VA, Fisher attended Liberty High School. Fisher initially attended Clemson University to play baseball before going to Salem College (now Salem University) in Salem, West Virginia where he played quarterback under head coach Terry Bowden from 1985 to 1986. Fisher followed Bowden to Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama for his final season.
Lets see… twice married, Jimbo married first wife, Candi in 1989 and have two children together, Ethan Fisher and Trey Fisher. After a messy and expensive divorce wear we find out she cheated on Jimbo with at least two guys (college football is a dirty game), Jimbo married his younger second wife, Courtney Harrison Fisher in 2020. Good for him. Hope he's laying the pipe constantly to keep this one.
Head Coaching Record Overall: 128–48 Bowls: 8–2 Tournaments: 0–1 (CFP)
Accomplishments and Honors Championships 1 BCS National (2013) 3 ACC (2012–2014) 4 ACC Atlantic Division (2010, 2012–2014)
Awards Division III National Player of the Year (1987) AFCA Regional Coach of the Year (2013) Rawlings Football College Coach of the Year (2013)

AJ’s Analysis: Week 1 Postview⚡️
Raiders at Chargers: Los Angeles wins 22-10
Disclaimer: I am a Chargers fan so this will obviously be biased BUT I have been a football fan for the last 12 years and absolutely love dissecting the game and making comments so I figured I would give this a try! Please feel free to make comments and let me know your thoughts in my inbox!
How did my players to watch do?
Los Angeles
Justin Herbert QB- Oregon- Year 5🩵
Threw for 144 yards 17/26, 1 TD no picks. Solid game, nothing flashy nothing crazy. Honestly he could’ve played better but he hasn’t played real football in 9 months. For once he didn’t have to break his spine in half and still lose. He was carried for once I love this!!
*Do need him to play better and this offense to start clicking a little better this week though…
Cameron Dicker Kicker- Texas- Year 3
3/3. He was perfect. No notes.
JK Dobbins RB- Ohio State- Year 5
10 carries, 135 yards, 1 TD. Great debut by that little sweetie. I’m a fan.
Joe Alt RT- Notre Dame- Year 1
I mean…
First game as a RT and he respectfully ate and put shut down a first team all pro when it was time. Crosby was wreaking havoc otherwise. Extremely bright future for Joe!!!
Khalil Mack EDGE/LB- Buffalo- Year 11
3 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 1 pass deflection and 2 qb hits. Solid start for him and the entire defense.
Joey Bosa DE/EDGE - Ohio State- Year 9
Joseph. Anthony.
Best defensive player on the entire field yesterday. 7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL, 2 qb hits. Incredible all the way around and I’m so excited for him to get back to his game wrecking ways in his prime at Ohio state.
*fun fact he’s honestly one of the reasons I started watching the Chargers in the first place his rookie year but they sucked real bad so I couldn’t commit fully but here we are, full circle.
WR Room
They did their best. Ladd is great, had a TD making two or three people shake themselves out of their cleats. QJ honestly did his thing, hope this year is more successful. Josh Palmer I hope gets some opportunities to show what he’s capable of. Overall the offense wasn’t incredible so I’m expecting this group to make some adjustments this week.
Las Vegas
Gardner Minshew QB- Washington State- Year 6
Thew for 257 yards 25/33, 1 TD, 1 INT. Looked solid coming out but was quickly stifled by the offense and struggled immensely.
Davante Adams WR- Fresno State- Year 11
5 catches 57 yards. Virtually invisible. Shouldn’t have been so worried about the Chargers social media team.
Brock Bowers TE- Georgia- Year 1
6 catches 68 yards. Honestly forgot he was on the field, sorry.
Maxx Crosby DE- Eastern Michigan- Year 6
5 sacks, 1 sack, 1 TFL and 3 qb hits. Messy but wreaked havoc. Terrible man though.
Christian Wilkins DT- Clemson- Year 6
4 tackles, no sacks, no QB hits. Also forgot he was on the field for bit. Joe Alt the 21 year old rookie had him and Maxx in hell.
Other notes
- Defense got stops when it mattered
- Offense looked lost at first but started to look competent towards the end
- Establishing a solid run game is important to open up the field for Justin to air it out and make some big plays BUT they do not need him to take over to win games which is very important
- Vibes were IMMACULATE pregame, during the game and postgame I loved every second!!
1-0 onto week 2!!

Since you’re southern Texan, his you feel about roll tide-
It's actually a misconception and miscommunication I'm from Texas. My dad was from Corpus Christi, and I was stationed there myself.
However, I'm actually from a small town in the Appalachian Mountain Range. Banner Elk, North Carolina. We had a small farm. Just a few chickens, goats and horses after my pops got a medical discharge.
As for Roll Tide? Fucking hate Alabama. Put that shit in my inbox again and you'll be missing some fingers. It's Clemson University all the way, and Marines in Military games.

Cal To Play UNLV In LA Bowl
Bears vs Rebels Will Kick Off at 6pm PT Dec 18
The California football team has accepted an invitation to play in the LA Bowl (formerly known as the "Jimmy Kimmel Bowl" - we refuse to mention Gronk) on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
The Golden Bears will meet 24th ranked UNLV (10-3), the Mountain West Conference runner-up. The game will air on ESPN and begins at 6 pm PT.
"We appreciate the opportunity to play another game together this season and would like to thank the LA Bowl for selecting us," Coach Justin Wilcox said. "Playing in a bowl game is a reward for hard work throughout the season and we are excited to play in front of our Cal Family in Southern California."
Cal will play in a second consecutive bowl game for the first time since 2018-19 after participating in the Independence Bowl last season. The Bears defeated Illinois in the Redbox Bowl in 2019 and played in the Cheez-It Bowl in 2018. The LA Bowl will mark the fourth Coach Wilcox has led Cal to a bowl game, and it's the 26th bowl appearance in program history. The Bears are 12-12-1 all-time in bowl games.
The Bears and Rebels have faced off just once before on the football field, with Cal beating UNLV 20-14 on Sept. 10, 2022, in Berkeley.

LSU: 2024 Texas Bowl Champions
HOUSTON -- — Garrett Nussmeier threw for 304 yards and three touchdowns as LSU beat Baylor 44-31 in the Texas Bowl on Tuesday.
Nussmeier, who finished 24 of 34, tossed scoring passes of 10 yards and 1 yard to Trey’Dez Green and 41 yards to Chris Hilton Jr. in the first half as LSU (9-4) built a 34-17 halftime lead.
Nussmeier said the win gives LSU a “confidence boost” heading into next year.
It’s definitely a good feeling to end the season with a win,” said Nussmeier, selected the game’s MVP. “It’s definitely something that we were looking forward to doing. It was one of our goals. Coach (Brian) Kelly said before the game that this is the start of 2025, so we wanted to make a statement. We talked about having that killer instinct.”
Hilton caught four passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Aaron Anderson had eight receptions for 91 yards for the Tigers, who finished the season with a three-game winning streak. LSU has won three straight bowl games.
Kelly was pleased with how the Tigers wrapped up 2024.
“I know cynics would say it’s disappointing,” he said. “It wasn’t disappointing. It was a team that was less than perfect because of inexperience. A team that gained experience. … To win nine games and win three in a row at the end, I’m just happy for our football team.”
Sawyer Robertson was 30 of 51 for a career-high 445 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears (8-5), who had their six-game winning streak snapped.
“I thought he battled,” Baylor coach Dave Aranda said. “I thought he was able to put balls where they needed to be. … I thought he was patient under pressure, he stepped up in the pocket. He took some hits, got back up and rallied the troops. I think the best for him is yet to come.”
Dawson Pendergrass rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns, and Josh Cameron caught eight passes for 111 yards and a TD.
“I think with this game it’s just way too many mistakes,” Aranda said. “Just so unfortunate. Hasn’t been a game like this in a while. We’ve played complementary football and this is not that. I think you take away just one of the mistakes that we had, and then we’re going to go win the game at the end of the game.”
Baylor closed to 34-24 on a 4-yard touchdown pass from Robertson to Ashtyn Hawkins with six minutes left in the third quarter, and after Garmon Randolph intercepted Nussmeier to give the Bears the ball on the LSU 26, Baylor had a chance to cut into the lead further.
However, on 4th-and-1 from the LSU 17, the snap went over Robertson’s head for a loss of 36 yards, and LSU capitalized on the mistake with Josh Williams scoring on a 4-yard touchdown run to start the fourth period.
Takeaways
Baylor: The offense, which entered averaging 434.5 yards per game this season, finished with 507. But the defense had trouble slowing down LSU, which gained 418 yards.
LSU: The Tigers scored in all three phases. Davhon Keys returned an interception 41 yards for a touchdown midway through the first quarter, and Zavion Thomas brought back a kickoff 95 yards for a score with 1 1/2 minutes left in the first half.
Up next
Baylor hosts Auburn on Aug. 30 to open next season. LSU visits Clemson that same day.
