WW Link was raised on a tiny little island by his grandmother, with his closest in age peer being his baby sister. Both his grandmother and the two old men on the island taught him on stories of past Heroes and knightly valor. The only other family on the island has two little toddlers who adore and follow him around as if he hung the stars. This boy was raised to be a gentleman who helps everyone without hesitation, a perfect example of ideal knightly chivalry, protecting and caring for women, children and the elderly.
And then the day he enters adolescence, filled with stories of the Hero saving his Princess and the kingdom, he meets a girl his age for the first time in his life, captured and in danger just like the damsels in distress from his stories.
And she instantly starts bullying him
Because Tetra was raised by pirates who obey her every command without hesitation. This girl is half feral, will stab unprovoked, and has probably never heard the words 'manners' or 'no' in life. For all her ignorance of her lineage, she is still a spoiled princess, just instead of proper tutors and nursemaids at her beckon call she has a rowdy crew of pseudo uncles and brothers that are trying their best to raise this little girl but are still pirates. She says "I'm bored. Let's fight a sea monster!" and they gleefully say "Yes Miss Tetra! Here's your sword!" without hesitation.
And Link falls in love, with this feral gremlin, who thinks it's funny to shoot him out of a catapult, across open ocean, face first, into a wall, of a heavily armed enemy fortress.
And once their adventure is done, his little sister decides this is her new rolemodel.
And now Link is the Hero and Tetra is the Princess, and they're tasked with re-founding the kingdom of Hyrule.
And I really want to see more of their dynamic in this lifetime than we see in their two games. I want to see Grandma's reaction to meeting the Princess that her grandson loves and granddaughter idolizes. I want to see him attempting to woo her using how he was taught to treat people, and her just being so confused by all this sappy softness. I want to see the kingdom of Hyrule that was founded by a fierce Pirate Queen and her tender gentleman Hero, before it was stabilized by any future generations. Because the dichotomy of their upbringings has such comedic potential that is not utilized enough.

Fanfic prompt :Everyone always makes the joke that Wild and Hyrule are the most likely to get kidnapped
But in their literal game mechanics and the lore of the games
Hyrule must run from anyone and trust nobody or someone could hand him over to ganon he definitely is really skittish about trusting anyone but when he sees someone help him he does trust them a bit more (he knows the concept of stranger danger and had to become a master at it or else it was game over)
Wild literally just has to throw a banana and you can almost always tell it is a Yiga even before you even pull out said banana (it is part of the game mechanics after all)
But you know who is the one who actually canonically is the most likely to get kidnapped and not notice it at any point during the entire process
Wind who has jumped on the boat of sketchy old man and pirates during both his adventures
Like he was extremely lucky that nothing ever happened to him
And he probably doesn’t know the concept of stranger danger because nobody on the island is a stranger or dangerous to him how would he even figure out if nobody is telling him about it or showing it
Like the first thing he does when the game starts is run up to a random girl who has fallen from a tree then she turns out to be a pirate and even if she has told him the truth about the kidnapped girls
You don’t jump on the boat of a pirate no matter how nice they seem (for all we know she could have orchestrated this situation to kidnap him and it is pure luck that she was just nice like that )
Essentially because later during the failed heist he gets throw across the sea he literally just wakes up on a different boat with no record of how he got there and instead of alerting anyone (because Wind fell island has a prison so he could have told the guards that a random guy had him on the boat and all that) he breaks fucking tingle out of the cell just to buy a sail for the weird talking boat and then continue on with just the two of them together (like I get desperately trying to save his sister but telling a guard or two that your sister got kidnapped and that you are saving her to make sure that at least a few people will know where you are like grandma definitely doesn’t know that you no longer are with the pirates)
And even more unhinged is the fact that tetra is not a good person at all she has interrogated a guy who wouldn’t sell her bombs which should have tipped Wind of as a red flag she has scammed a rich man out so much that he lives as a beggar with his daughter (also a thing that makes it more vague than ever to know what she would have done to his grandmother like a promise telling him she would bring his sister back safely is very dubious)
Also he canonically has repeatedly went to tingle's tower and asked him to translate the triforce charts (like that is tingle and nothing more has to be said)
Like Wind has the most luck known to mankind
It also somehow gets even worse because during phantom hourglass he and tetra are on the boat (which understandable because she proved that she is someone you can trust and a good friend)
And after waking up on a random beach the first thing you do is go into an old guy’s storage unit to get his sword (and somehow again not get mugged , kidnapped or trafficked because you never go somewhere alone when a single person is aware of it with no weapon especially when someone told you to go there )
Then he went with a different shady guy he just saved at the temple who genuinely looked like a problem in the making (and it was a problem in the making like I love linebeck he is a father figure for wind but also he did have the problem with his ex who wanted to kill him and he looked really shady and you would not have been able to escape if he did kidnap you because you are on the sea )
Like obviously Wind hasn’t learned his Lesson at any point in time because every time it went well
But with Yiga nothing goes well with them
He would probably hold hands with them as well and any other kidnapper would have a very easy catch
He probably joined the chain in less then a second without any form of self awareness (like everyone definitely was nervous with each other but not Wind he heard they said everyone else can sleep while another takes watch and planted his face on a pillow and was just out like that while everyone else was uneasy and didn’t sleep well or also took watch to make sure they won’t be killed in their sleep)
The chain really has to teach him that lesson (for the sake of like literally everything he has ever done because that luck will run out at some point)
Like Warriors definitely is seeing Wind go with literally everyone and not understanding why like that looks like a trauma response (it is just wind with over 12 years never learning about stranger danger and a big misunderstanding but also not really wrong )

Hi new fic
https://archiveofourown.org/works/52017334/chapters/131545159
Summary:
“Twilight is that a cat?” the Champion asked loudly, and Twilight cringed as the argument stopped, everyone staring over at where Wind was sitting primly on his unhurt shoulder.
“Ah... right. Guess the cat’s out of the bag,” he mumbled.
Wind twitched his whiskers.
———
Wind has a run in with Twilight’s necklace. He does not appreciate this, especially since turning back proves to be... difficult.
At least he has claws.
...
Read the fic on ao3, or read it here under the cut :)
Wind came tumbling out of the portal with a shout, rolling down the hill he’d suddenly found himself on for several paces before he managed to stop his frantic descent.
Ow.
He spat a mouthful of grass out when he finally stopped moving, and looked around at where he’d ended up, noting the seabirds flying above his head with a spark of excitement. Maybe he was back home? Maybe he’d get to see Grandma and Aryll and Tetra and everyone again?!
Wind continued to look around, but his excitement faded as he noted the high cliffs and significant amount of land around.
Probably not his.
A sigh escaped him as he looked to his side, and he jumped a little, scrambling backwards from the cliff he suddenly realized he was sitting next to.
Yikes, glad I didn’t roll a few feet further, he thought with a gulp, taking note of the steep drop and rough ocean below. Even if he fell and managed to slow his descent, there didn’t appear to be anywhere to climb up out of the water.
A screech caught his attention, and Wind was abruptly reminded of the reason he’d fallen through the portal in the first place.
He and the other heroes had been in the middle of a battle when a portal had appeared, the dark lizalfos sneering at them before escaping through. Despite Warriors telling them all to stay away from it, Wind had ended up fighting closer, then been knocked through by moblin’s club.
Leaving him here, alone on a cliff with monsters charging towards him.
He scrambled to his feet as several bokoblins and a sizable group of miniblins ran towards him, and he grabbed the phantom sword, which had fortunately come with him.
Wind leveled his blade as the first monster lunged at him, and with a small flourish, he jumped around it and watched as it’s momentum took it straight over the cliff.
That guy obviously wasn’t black-blooded, he thought with a snort, listening to its squeals as it fell.
A distant splash came from below, and the other monsters howled in anger, Wind wiping some dirt from his cheek with a grin.
“Thought you could just shove me off, huh?” he smirked, leveling his blade. “You’ll have to do better than that, ye scurvy dogs!”
The monsters jabbered angrily and charged him all at once, but Wind easily knocked them backwards with a spin attack. He worked on maneuvering himself away from the cliff while he fought, trying to take out as many monsters as he could and not be flung over the edge, and made fairly steady progress.
Their numbers began to thin the longer Wind fought against them, and he only had a small gash on his arm and a few cuts to show for it. His injuries weren’t slowing him down at all as he continued to fight the monsters, and Wind felt a familiar sort of confidence pump through his veins the more of them he eradicated.
Wind even managed to knock a couple more monsters off the cliff nearby, though unfortunately none of the ones that had black blood dripping from cuts.
Those were the ones giving him the most trouble, dodging his thrusts and avoiding his attempts to outsmart them. Wind panted a little as he swiped away two miniblins, and looked around at the monsters. There were only a few left, all infected he was sure, based on the intelligent gleam in their dark eyes.
Well they’re not getting the better of me, black blood or not!
He twirled his sword and grinned at the monsters, but then a loud shout rang out from nearby.
Wind whirled around to see Twilight fly out of the portal, blood on his shoulder.
The rancher hit the ground with a grunt and began tumbling down the hill, much in the same way as Wind had done earlier. Twilight was a lot bigger than Wind though, and the sailor abruptly realized his momentum would likely send him right over the cliff, just like the earlier bokoblin.
Oh no, not on my watch!
Wind took out one of the bokoblins that was flagging, and grabbed in his pouch for his hookshot. Executing a backflip towards a nearby tree, he aimed at where Twilight was rolling, and fired.
He was too far away to use anything else to grab his fellow hero, and hoped he’d aimed well enough not to hurt Twilight too much.
The chain shot outwards as Wind fired, soaring straight for Twilight’s already-bloody shoulder, his pelt and a few other items having come lose in his fall. But the rancher had seen him fire the chain, and right as Wind thought either the hook would gouge right into him or he’d go flying over the cliff, Twilight reached out a hand and snatched the chain.
A relieved sigh escaped Wind’s lips, but as the slack caught up to him he nearly fell over, grunting with effort as he called on the strength of his power bracelets. Maybe Twilight needed to lay off Wild’s desserts, he weighed a ton.
A bokoblin’s screech reminded him he wasn’t alone, and Wind growled in annoyance. He gathered his strength and gave the chain a sharp heave, looping it around a nearby tree branch before turning to block a strike from one of the monsters.
It snarled, more ferocious of a sound than Wind was used to hearing from their species as it swiped at him with its sword, and he suddenly realized the other monsters had disappeared.
He looked around in suspicion as he fought against the bokoblin, wondering if maybe the monsters hadn’t been quite as smart as he’d thought.
Had they just... fallen off the cliff?
Twilight shouted nearby and Wind turned to see that no, the monsters had not fallen off the cliff, but rather taken advantage of Twilight’s somewhat vulnerable state. One of the bokoblins had jumped on Twilight’s back while the remaining miniblins jabbed at his legs with their pitchforks, leaving him weighed down and outnumbered.
Not to mention getting closer to the cliff again.
Wind frowned determinedly, and managed to stab the bokoblin that was bothering him through the middle, sending it to the dirt. As it exploded into dust, he ran towards Twilight, who was struggling to remove the bokoblin from his back while also keeping away the other monsters with his injured shoulder.
The rancher succeeded in kicking back a few that weren’t clinging to his neck, and Wind viciously swiped at them, sending multiple miniblins off the cliff with squealing cries. The other monsters made use of the distraction and a few of them split off, grabbing Twilight’s pelt with mischievous cackles.
Wind growled in frustration, unsure of whether to go after Twilight’s stuff or help Twilight himself, but then the rancher threw the bokoblin that was on his back off himself, and into the sea below.
Wind decided he was doing fine, and charged towards the miniblins, who squealed as they saw him approach. He cut down the one that had grabbed Twilight’s pelt, then ran after two others that had something gripped in their little claws.
As Wind swung at the miniblins, one of them wound it’s arm back and threw something into the air before Wind’s sword struck it, and Wind realized it was Twilight’s necklace.
It went flying right for the cliff, and Wind bolted, throwing himself forwards and just barely managing to snag the cord before it was lost forever in the ocean below. He let out a relieved phew, looking down at the waves. The immediate area had finally gone silent, and there wasn’t a monster in sight when Wind glanced back at Twilight to check.
He grinned to himself, and got to his knees. That was a close one, but both of them, and Twilight’s stuff, were safe.
And they’d won the battle!
Wind held the severed cord up to look at the strange little pendant, orange lines glowing in the faint sunshine.
It was a weird necklace, all spiky and glowing, and something about it felt... off. But Twilight always said he didn’t really like magic, so it must just be a cool rock or something.
Wind got to his feet, still admiring the strange necklace, then set it in his palm to take back to Twilight.
“Sailor no!”
The warning came mere seconds too late.
The moment the pendant touched Wind’s skin, a wave of intense pain shot through him, and he yelped in surprise as he fell back to the ground, black flecking in his vision.
Twilight shouted nearby and Wind tried to reply, but something in his very being seemed to twist, making a response impossible.
Magic flowed through him and around him, bones shifted inside of him, inside out and upside down as another cry was ripped from his throat that didn’t sound right at all and the world suddenly felt like it was falling away—
Darkness overcame him and he knew no more.
(...)
Wind came back to himself slowly.
Loud noises echoed around him, sharp but fuzzy at the same time, and his dizzied brain couldn’t really focus on them when he tried. Especially due to the deep ache that seemed to have settled in every single bone in his body, weighing him down.
Wind tried to raise his head, but the ache increased sharply, and he let it fall with a wince.
A groan escaped him, but the sound that came out of his mouth was not what he expected at all: a strange grumble that didn’t sound even remotely hylian, with a squeaky note to it.
That came from me?
Something cold settled into Wind’s stomach at the strange noise he’d made, and he struggled to open his eyes, blinking up at the concerned (and slightly panicked) face of Twilight.
But something about the rancher seemed... off.
Like, really off.
Twilight tried to give him a smile, but the edges were thin, and despite how strange his vision was (had he hit his head? That would explain why everything sounded weird too—) Wind could tell he was trying not to panic.
Which admittedly, rather made him want to panic, because Twilight never panicked and if he was panicking over what happened to Wind than it must be bad—
“Link, just stay calm, okay?” Twilight said, but despite his even tone of voice, Wind only felt his panic grow at the uncertainty of what had just happened. “You’re okay, I promise, just take it slow.”
Wind tried to sit up then, but his balance was all off and he fell right back down, breathing shakily as he tried desperately to keep calm.
“What’s going on Twilight? What happened to me?!” he cried, or at least tried to.
Instead of words though, all that came out of his mouth were a serious of panicked meows.
Wind slammed his mouth shut, so utterly shocked that it took him a moment to realize that his mouth didn’t feel right either. Sharp teeth pricked against the inside of his lips, and his tongue felt bumpy, sort of like the sensation of sand on bare feet.
The realization of what happened, as unbelievable as it was, suddenly slammed into Wind like a hurricane, and he stared down at the creamy-yellow paws that had once been his feet.
He was a cat.
Somehow he’d been turned into a cat!
Twilight might’ve been speaking again, but Wind was too busy trying to get a good look at himself, taking in his windswept fur and the whiskers he could feel on his face. He even had a tail, stuck right onto his rear end.
A breeze hit his face, brushing his fur and whiskers, and the feel of it was all wrong, so wrong, everything about himself just felt wrong wrong wrong—
Something touched his head, and Wind was so high-strung from shock and leftover panic that he jumped (though it was more of a stumble) backwards, a startled hiss coming from his mouth.
“Wind whoa, I’m not going to hurt you,” Twilight soothed, and Wind realized the rancher had been the one to touch him, probably trying to calm him down.
He swallowed, and managed to ease himself back down, feeling his ears flatten in embarrassment. He tried to give Twilight an apologetic look, and the rancher seemed to understand, giving him a small smile. The hand was carefully extended towards him again, and this time Wind let Twilight run a soothing hand through his fur.
If he closed his eyes and ignored how the rancher’s hand was currently bigger than his head, he could almost imagine Twilight was just giving his hair a fond ruffle.
“Sorry sailor, I shouldn’t have startled you,” Twilight said. “I’m... I’m so sorry this happened,” he said more quietly, looking frustrated at himself. “I should’ve warned you not to touch the pendant.”
Wind blinked at him, suddenly suspicious of why Twilight had a pendant that turned people into cats anyway. What use was that?! And he’d never even seen Twilight use it to turn into a cat before. Plus Twilight didn’t like magic, especially not dark magic.
What was going on here?
“I guess you deserve an explanation,” the rancher sighed, not following his train of thought. “This... it’s leftover magic from my journey. It was originally a curse, but with the help of the Master Sword I was able to use it for my own advantage. It... allows me to become the animal that aligns most closely with my spirit, which...”
Twilight paused, looking a little nervous.
“Which is, well... a wolf.”
Wind blinked, then the pieces of the puzzle clicked and his tail stood straight up in shock.
Twilight was Wolfie!
Wind yowled in equal surprise and excitement, startling himself a little at the sound that came out of his lungs, but it was mostly overcome by his excitement.
Twilight being Wolfie made so much sense, he couldn’t believe he hadn’t seen it before— looking back it was so obvious and...
...and why hadn’t Twilight told them?
Twilight seemed to figure out the meaning of his yowling well enough, and scratched the back of his neck.
“Yeah, I’m... Wolfie. I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, I wasn’t sure how everyone would take it, this magic isn’t completely... light,” he said awkwardly.
Wind thought back to the agony that had stretched and shifted his bones only a little while ago, twisting him into a form that was very much not his own, and shivered a little. He could see how it wasn’t exactly light magic.
But despite how achy and weird Wind felt, he didn’t feel like the magic that was in him now was actively malicious. It had changed him, but it had only done that, and apart from the slight pulse of it he could feel in his one paw, it wasn’t doing anything more to him as far as he could tell.
Twilight obviously didn’t mean any harm by it, and used the magic a lot with no bad or evil side effects or anything.
Wind shrugged, as much as he could as a cat, then stood up with a wobble, carefully testing each paw before trying to walk with it. He shakily made his way over to Twilight, then bonked his head against his knee with a small mrrow.
He didn’t trust the magic that had changed him. But he did trust Twilight.
Twilight huffed out a laugh at the gesture, and nodded at him, looking relieved at his acceptance. Wind tried his best to smile back, and felt a little better overall.
Not great though. Just better.
“Okay, our next goal is to find out where the others are, and get the Master Sword from Sky so we can fix you,” Twilight said with a thoughtful frown. “It’s the only way to get you back; when this happened to Legend, not even any of his crazy items were enough.”
Wind shot Twilight a wide-eyed look, and the rancher chuckled a little.
“Yeah, this happened to our veteran. He’d been transformed into an animal before though, so he wasn’t quite as shocked. I never would have expected he’d be bright pink, though.”
That must be why his hair turned pink that one night! Wind realized with a swell of glee, then let out a small mrrow of amusement. He couldn’t imagine how terrible Legend must have been as a little pink cat! ...unless he’d been a wolf like Twilight?
He’d have to add that to his rapidly growing list of ‘things to ask once he got his regular mouth back.’
“Right, so let’s get going,” Twilight said, dusting off his pants. “The portal closed after I fell through, so the others must be elsewhere. Hopefully they came through and we can find Sky quickly, and we won’t have to explain Wolfie to everyone...”
The rancher trailed off, looking a little anxious, and Wind tilted his head, studying him.
So that was why Twilight hadn’t told anybody. He must be afraid of what they would think of him being the random wolf that appeared and helped them out sometimes, and using a dark magic crystal thing to transform into him.
But the others would understand... wouldn’t they?
Wind caught Twilight’s attention and meowed at him, trying to look encouraging. Twilight looked down at him and snorted, shaking his head.
“I have no clue what you just said sailor. But thanks.”
Wind twitched his whiskers in amusement, and watched as Twilight stood up, holding his arm and grimacing a little. The sailor frowned, and when Twilight looked at him he meowed pointedly, looking at the blood staining his tunic.
He could smell the metallic scent in the air, sharper then normal, and it sure looked like a lot of blood to him.
“I’m fine sailor, it’s just a scratch. And I don’t have any potions, so there’s nothing I can do,” Twilight shrugged, wiping blood off his sword before sheathing it. “I’ll clean it once we find the others. I’ll be okay ‘til then.”
Twilight wandered a little ways up the hill in order to retrieve his pelt and a few other items he’d dropped before Wind could try to argue further, and Wind let out a small huff, then teetered after him, trying to get used to his new legs.
It wasn’t easy. He felt as unsteady as when he’d been sailing for weeks on end and finally gotten back to land, his paws wobbly and uncooperative underneath him. He was not used to four legs to deal with, and was unable to help the growl that rose in his throat as he tripped, tail lashing in annoyance.
How could he be helpful when he could barely walk?
Twilight came back to his side then, fully geared up, and Wind made an extra effort not to appear affected by his cumbersome paws. Twilight’s sharp eyes noticed immediately though, and he kneeled down next to him, offering a hand.
“I think you should ride with me for the time being sailor,” he said gently, wincing as Wind tripped again. “Just so we’ll make quicker ground.”
Wind lashed his tail. He could walk plenty fast!
To prove his point, he took a confident step forward, making an extra effort not to trip. But he was so focused on his feet, he forgot to pay attention to the ground, and tripped on a pebble and fell flat on his face.
Twilight winced, then offered his hand again, which Wind looked at grumpily before stumbling over to it.
Twilight gently scooped him up and placed him up on his shoulder, and Wind dug his claws into his pelt, figuring out how to comfortably sit. He finally nestled into a good spot, and Twilight began to move, back up the hill and into the forest beyond.
Wind looked behind them and watched the sea disappear behind the trees, and sighed to himself as a bit of wind blew past his whiskers.
This day was not going the way he’d thought it would.

We need some Tetra and Pricilla content. (Hurry up PTN and give more) I bet they love to roleplay. Pretending to be caught and seducing their way out of being caught. But Tetra is so smitten for Pricilla. Pricilla rides and grinds on Tetra's cock, making it a competition of who cums first is the loser, and Tetra pretty much loses all the time.
Tetra and Pricilla are literally one of the original non-canon but totally canon gay couples in PTN (besides McQueen & Lisa). The dynamic of the Phantom Robbers is so great, like Pricilla is over here being a rambunctious, mischievous bunny, and Tetra is here being a good little fox following her around.
A joke me and my friends came up with a while ago is that if they were playing volleyball and on different teams, Pricilla is the one purposefully hitting Tetra in the face with the volleyball, but the fox doesn't care because she's too distracted by how good her girl looks in those short shorts. Tetra is the type of girlfriend like; "My girlfriend can punch me in the face, and I'd thank her."
Anyway, for NSFW thoughts;
I totally agree with these two being into roleplay, especially Pricilla! Tetra seems to be the type to be down for anything and into whatever her girl is into. Pricilla wants to tie her up and roleplay an interrogation? Tetra is already in position, ready and waiting.
Tetra is the definition of a smitten girlfriend, looking at Pricilla like she's the most precious valuable that she'd love to steal over and over again. And by god she loves to sit back on the bed, hands tied to the headboard as she watches Pricilla ride her cock like an eager bunny (which she is).
Pricilla's goal is to get Tetra to cum in her before she cums herself, so she's moving fast, like a bunny in heat, while purposefully squeezing her pussy around her cock. The poor fox tries so so hard to hold back, to prove that she can, but girl is throwing her head back and shooting ropes of her cum into the girl.
Tetra loses once again, meaning she's the one who has to be tied to a chair and forced to watch Pricilla have sex with you (and she really isn't complaining).

Hi I saw your last headcanons about The heroes joining The Villains to take down Hylia for readers sake(I really liked The headcanons, They were really good) But i have my question about The zeldas, I cant stop thinking that They would get an interest in The Reader (Maybe Platónic, maybe Romántic Is up to you) And I cant stop thinking that they Would join The chains plan to take down Hylia(Maybe The Make a truce with The chain to take down Hylia with The less count of possible deceased people to finally kill The Villain) I dunno i had this idea and I had to say it, hope you have a nice day
First off…I’m not much of a fan of the princesses…
BUUUUT, I can accept coming up with ideas about them for others…BUT NOT OFTEN!
Anywho I haven’t put much thought on all of them so I’ll just do a few. Sorry 😅
Sun wouod have the most complicated feelings here since she’s literally Hylia reborn as a mortal. Her interest in Reader would likely be tied to a deep guilt and sense of responsibility, she’s living with the burden of what Hylia does to Reader. Yeah the Hylia that did it is FAAAR into the future, but it’ll a version of her who no longer is SUN.
She probably sees helping the Chain as a way to make amends, even if it means going against everything she was once meant to represent.
She probably sees Reader as almost sacred and feels like she owes them something she can’t fully repay.
She wants to protect them, and there’s this raw, almost reverent quality to it. She’s the one who might pull Reader aside to give them quiet reassurances, to show that she’s on their side despite the history that hangs over her head.
Some of the guys, like Time, Legend, and Warriors, maybe Wild might not fully trust her, understandably so.
They’d question her motives and wonder if, when it comes down to it, she’d side with Hylia.
Sun would be determined to prove her loyalty to Reader, and that might lead to some pretty heated arguments, especially with heroes who are cautious around her.
Artemis wouod be all about strategy really teaming up with the Chain as a logical choice to take down Hylia, not just for Reader’s sake but also for the sake of her people. Considering hers is literal a war-torn era and even if the timelines were repaired, the damage the war did to HER era specifically is still there .
She’s not sentimental about it; she just wants to get the job done with minimal fallout.
Buuut seeing how devoted the Chain is to Reader, she’d definitely gain a lot of respect for Reader.
She’d have a lot of admiration for Reader, seeing them as almost warrior like in their own right. She’s drawn to how Reader stands up to things way beyond their control and keeps pushing back. There would be no flowery language from her; she simply respects Reader, and it shows. (Friendship no jutsu will happen eventually, it just takes time for her to warm up to Reader.)
Tetra would be in this for her own reasons, but helping Reader aligns well with her goals. She, like Wind, isn’t familiar with Hylia but seeing the Chain actively fighting against her is all she needs to dive in. Especially when she warms up to Reader. She’d be on board to take Hylia down without a second thought.
She would be egging the Chain on to take bold steps against Hylia. There’s no hesitation on her end; she’d be telling them, “If you’re in, go all the way.” Her approach would definitely add some urgency to their plans, maybe pushing the Chain into action when they might otherwise hesitate. (She’s a pirate, what do you expect)
She’d be the semi-tsundere, definitely would warm up quickly to Reader, especially if Reader adores her pirating stories or genuine is interested in learning how ships works.
Aurora probably the most lowkey out of all of them, but don’t underestimate her. She’d see the Chain’s determination and want to support them out of a genuine belief that Reader deserves a better fate.
Her relationship with Reader would likely be gentle and kind, she’s the one offering small comforts.
She sees something special in Reader’s humanity and probably feels they’ve been through way too much already.
She’d be the one who connects with them in quiet moments.
She’d mediate between any Zeldas who don’t see eye to eye. If Artemis is pressing for strict strategy while Tetra is pushing for impulsive action, Aurora would be the voice of reason, urging a balanced approach to keep them all on track
And….thats all I could come up with. Sorry I couldn’t think of the others. I may come back to this later if I think up more.

The way Zelda redditors behave like BotW is going to be the template for future titles is absolutely hilarious. They are convinced that Nintendo is done with classic Zelda elements forever. TotK proves it! Never mind that they can barely agree on whether this even deserves to be called a new game or overpriced DLC. Or that Nintendo themselves have said that this was a very big experiment, where they let a team comprised of mostly younger devs run the show, and the director of BotW has actually left the company to go work on Infinity Nikki of all things. I don't know what the future of Zelda is going to look like. I can't see Nintendo just walking back everything they did in BotW. (And they better not. Skyward Sword is the worst mainline Zelda title, and BotW was the exact opposite of the hand holding the series had gotten really bad for). However, we can guarantee one thing for sure. The open-air game concept that specifically defined Breath of the Wild and its direct sequel Tears of the Kingdom is not simply going to be the new template for the series.
I could leave it there with a "because Nintendo said so" but it's midnight and I'm already making bad decisions, so I'm going to go one further and back this up with a second supporting argument. That's not how Nintendo as a company works. That's not how they've ever worked. They stopped doing rational, clear iterative upgrades when they followed up the Gamecube with the Wii. The Zelda series itself has constantly been one of self reinvention. Ocarina of Time is incredibly special in that Breath of the Wild is the first time they've so clearly broken away from the model it set. But when you look at the rest of the series, it's obvious BotW was the biggest experiment, but not even remotely the first. Majora's Mask turned the main gameplay concept on its head by putting everything on a Very. Tight. Timer. When you hit midnight of the third day, that was it. Rewind or die. All your progress was reset except for your sword (iirc), your masks, and your rupees if you put them in the bank (because the banker was a time traveler?). Wind Waker flooded the whole continent and had you sailing around on a boat, using a proto-physics system to fill your sails. The wide open world of OoT was gone altogether, and Princess Zelda didn't show up until halfway through the game (we won't talk about what they did to Tetra). Twilight Princess made the game super linear and made Zelda herself almost secondary to the plot. Actually, TP almost feels like the most direct callback to OoT with the doubling down on horse mounted combat, an art style that looked more like it next to whatever WW was doing (but which would ultimately age a lot worse), dungeons that also felt more directly inspired, and a combat system that was a little less fluid and reactive. But it also had Link temporarily become a werewolf, and gave us an egregiously underappreciated Spaghetti Western shootout that came out of nowhere and was all together too brief. Then Skyward Sword came along, which was the least reinventive of the bunch mechanically, but which did at least try to turn the classic narrative on its head. Also Zelda went from being barely there to being a driving character in the narrative. And she walked so BotW Princess Zelda could run. That said, imho, you can see why they leaned so much harder into experimentation with their next game that nearly skipped a whole console generation, because by SS the series tropes were getting a little too strong. The series was actually drifting into iterative territory, and that's not the typical Nintendo way. Especially not with one of their two core in-house franchises.
(Please don't bring up Pokemon here. I know it's Nintendo's third core franchise. But please remember, Zelda and Mario are solely owned by Nintendo, while Pokemon is at this point is at the center of an entire corporate conglomerate, which Nintendo is only part of).
I get that some people didn't enjoy BotW. I can sympathize with the people who did not want more like it and who were consequently less than thrilled by TotK's arrival. But bemoaning the fall of the franchise and saying Nintendo is going to be like Ubisoft, EA, and all the other trend chasing studios out there is really going too far. Nintendo has spent too many years baffling investors to start doing that now. Yes, Tears of the Kingdom exists. No, it's not proof of the trend. It was a planned sequel (itself an enormously rare concept in Zelda history). You can't make a planned story and gameplay sequel to a game and just throw away the concept you're following up on. That would be an enormously bad idea. (Worse, even, than trying to make your sequel game stand on its own for new players and erasing nearly all memory of Link from the same people he helped save. I love TotK so much, but I am not blind to its flaws, what few there are).
ALSO yes Echoes of Wisdom has Zelda stacking beds into a diy staircase. NO that doesn't mean we're seeing a return of this apparently beloathed systems-based physics gameplay in 2D fashion. If there were physics, the beds would have fallen over. That's like calling Minecraft or Dragon Quest Builders a physics based exploration game just because they have objects you can stack. That is the dumbest take I've seen come out of a community that is profoundly skilled at coming out with dumb takes.
#this post brought to you by people being dumb on reddit and me not wanting to start a direct argument#so instead I'm staying up late ranting on tumblr instead where probably none of those people will see it but maybe others will#zelda#the legend of zelda#nintendo

Information Masterpost for Constellation of Hope (LU)
Since CoH is kind of a big mess of a universe (a lot of it currently being stuck in my head and refusing to be written), I decided to write a masterpost for it for those especially interested. I'll try to keep it updated as I continue to write for this series.
Last updated: September 26th 2023
Character information
Time: he/him pronouns, doesn't understand gender but presents typically masculine. He's in love with Malon and she's in love with him and that's all that really matters to him
Warriors:: he/him, cismale (for now...?), aro, technically pansexual but he's got ... issues with women at the moment that he has to work through
Twilight: he/him, cismale (for now...?), panromantic, pansexual. Not currently dating (subject to change). Is overwhelmingly supportive of the rest of the chain and will always listen to their thoughts and struggles
Sky: he/him, transman, in love with Sun but can't be bothered to label it. Sunsexual? Literally switched gender, pronouns, name etc with Sun. Has some thoughts about possibly being bigender, but every once in a blue moon or so. Struggles with chronic altitude illness which presents itself as fatigue, nausea and general GI issues. Also cannot drink cow's milk.
Legend: they/he, lived his life until TFH as a transman. The cheerleader outfit made them reconsider everything and they wrote a very panicked letter to Ravio (transman, he/him) about it. Is now out as genderqueer. Has rheumatoid arthritis and sensory processing disorder.
Wild: they/he/she, genderfluid, in a qpr with Flora. They barely understand gender on the best of the days. Was allegedly a transman before the Calamity and has the top surgery scars to prove it, but doesn't really care now. Autistic and learning to unmask (a result of her pre-Calamity life). The scars bother them from time to time.
Hyrule: fae/faer, agender, aroace. Every now and then fae will borrow someone's gender presentation. In some of the stories, fae will still be referred to with he/him pronouns as fae has yet to figure faerself out. Autistic.
Four: plural they/them, when split apart Red and Green (cismen) uses he/him pronouns, Blue (transfem) uses she/her and Vio (agender) uses they/them. Shadow (nonbinary) is dating Vio and uses xe/xem pronouns. Four is also not intended to be a DIDOSDD+ system, despite potential similarities in presentation or language. Overview of the colours' appearances here
Wind: he/him, then she/her, transfem. Wind is in a relationship with Tetra, but exactly what it is, she hasn't figured it out yet. Originally hesitates to transition because she doesn't want to upset Warriors (they talk it out). Cannot drink cow's milk.
Timeline - links are all to AO3
Prequels/pre-story fics
Indecisive - a fic taking place after Four's third adventures (a mix between Four Swords Adventures and the Four Swords Manga). Vio misses Shadow and talks to Blue about it.
Main story? (there's not really a main story, but anything including and after Dark Hair Significance is here). Disclaimer: The order you see here might not reflect the order of the AO3 series.
Dark Hair Significance - Intro fic to my linked universe oneshot collection. Teen. Mostly Four- and Legend-centric. This is where the Chain meets up (at least partially).
Course and Wale - Wind's never seen anyone knit before. Ravio shows him, and they both learn something in the process.
A Brief Respite - It's a new moon on the first night in Legend's Hyrule, which means that Shadow will be around to hang out with them. It's just a pity that things don't always work out according to plan.
The Wind Guides - Wind has some thoughts about gender and it takes him- her -some time to figure it out.
Sweet Tooth - Hyrule is a bit silly about faer needs. Time helps. Also known as the hypoglycaemic!Hyrule fic
Comfort - Wild can't seem to fall asleep. Hyrule keeps them company.

"I'm not even tired, are you tired?" she was, in fact, very tired. strength was not her forte and this arm wrestling contest proved it. tetra was pretty sure her arm was going numb but there was no way she'd be the first to give in. especially not against mcqueen.
❝ You underestimate me, darling. ❞ Or rather, McQueen seems to have overestimated herself. True, she started this silly little competition between them with much confidenceーshe is, after all, an artist. When it comes to dexterity, she's sure to at least be on par with the infamous phantom thief, but strength? Her confidence wanes. She may have made a grave calculation.
... Not that she would ever dare admit it, of course; a cocky smile curling from her lips, even when her arm's already trembling as her strength clashes against Tetra's own. ❝ You know, it's completely alright if you'd like to toss the towel, foxy. I'll make sure no one ever learns of your defeat. ❞

I blame his mothers. They, likewise, did not appear to possess any scruples with brainwashing their own people.
But, yes! Here ya go!
How would WW react to Nemma not allowing him to kill the Hero & Princess? Oh, no. She isn’t betraying him! Never! Rather, she suggests that they take the 2 prisoner. They’re children after all & she can’t stand the idea of killing them. (She'll also side-eye him rather hard if he suggests brainwashing. She is patently opposed to any form of rape &, in her mind, brainwashing is essentially mindrape.)
In her mind, they were young & they could be taught. However, if they proved themselves to be enemies even in adulthood, then she’d not argue with him in executing them at such a time.
So… Basically, it ends up being an adoption fic! XD
Like, I’m talking about a slowburn enemies-to-found-family. Of course, this would include Aryll & Grandma, too. (Which, I see Nemma being the one in charge of the kidnapped’s care. As in, she would’ve made sure that Aryll, Maggie, & Mila were well-cared for & had things to occupy their minds. She would've also ensured that Zelda was comfortable while she slept. She very much has a soft spot for kids no matter the iteration; which makes since considering one of Karina's domains happened to be motherhood, but ya know.)
I don't think Grandma will like him much for a good long time, especially if he laid a single hand on either of her grandbabies. (Like, she may be a sweet little old lady, but I get the impression that she's tougher than she looks...) At the same time, I get the feeling that she's smart enough to know that the only thing she can do is take care of her family & that little pirate girlfriend of Link's (which she'll be delighted to see the boy has his first crush & will dote on him accordingly; doesn't matter if they aren't even dating & it utterly embarrasses him in front of his crush, she'll encourage it).
And, holy heck would there be a huge adjustment period. Like, I can definitely see Tetra being the most resistant just due to her being a pirate captain &, therefore, rebellious & bossy by nature. Also keep in mind that she seems to have a great love of the ocean, so her essentially seeing her home be destroyed as the Great Sea, the only place she'd ever known her whole life, disappears to be replaced with this unfamiliar land (even if it is the homeland of her ancestors), might be terrible for her. Like, I'm sure that Wind would also be very sad, but he at least grew up on solid ground.
There's also her crew to think about. I bet you almost anything that the second the water disappears, any ships that were out at sea would suddenly fall to Hyrule. And depending on if it was a slow receding or a sudden vanishment, it could've caused quite a lot of harm. A lot of people might even be dead. Heck, Tetra's crew could be dead. Aryll could be dead.
And depending on if they are or not, it may result in a couple of lifelong, bitter enemies. Which would be something interesting to explore some other time, but not right now.
Right now, I want enemies-to-found-family slowburn fluff! *ever so slightly deranged*
You know, I’m legitimately curious. What did OoT (pre-timeskip) & WW plan to do with their Links & Zeldas?
They were kiddos. Like... pre-timeskip OoT Link was 8 bare minimum/10-12 max & WW Link was 12-13, maybe 14 if I stretch it a bit.
What did they plan to do? Just kill a couple of kids?
Well...
Windwaker straight up punched a child, and Ocarina used so many death traps to keep people away or dead....
Windwaker pulled out duel swords to cut through Link, and Ocarina used magic when chasing after Zelda, to hit Link...
Either they were going to maim him to prevent future issues, or death, kinda.
Killing/Maiming Link I could see, but Zelda... the Goddess bloodline? Prisoner or brainwashing, me thinks. Something Demise in him would keep her alive for spoils.
HOLY MOLY CHAT KEPT IT TO 2 GANONDORFS... AND DEMISE DIDNT SNEAK IN. I'm almost sad.
**********************************************************************
Ganondorf is a complex villain in The Legend of Zelda series, and his plans for Link and Zelda vary based on the specific game, but generally, his intentions are tied to his lust for power and control over the world. Let's break down his possible intentions in both Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker.
Ocarina of Time Ganondorf (Pre-Timeskip)
Link: Ganondorf likely saw young Link as an insignificant threat at first. Before the timeskip, Link was a child, and Ganondorf probably didn't consider him a serious obstacle. However, once Link starts gathering the Spiritual Stones and accessing the Temple of Time, Ganondorf might begin to see him as a potential threat. But since Link was so young, Ganondorf might have considered capturing or killing him if he became too much of a nuisance. That said, Ganondorf was more focused on gaining the Triforce and ruling Hyrule than dealing with a child.
Zelda: Young Zelda, being a princess and the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom, would have been a valuable asset to Ganondorf. If he could capture her, he might try to manipulate or use her to gain access to the Triforce, using her as a bargaining chip or keeping her as a hostage to ensure his control over the kingdom. Given her young age, he might have planned to brainwash or control her, ensuring her loyalty or at least keeping her out of the way while he consolidated his power.
The Wind Waker Ganondorf
Link: In The Wind Waker, Ganondorf is more calculated and patient, having been through his defeat in Ocarina of Time. He likely recognizes Link's potential threat, especially once it's clear that this new Link has the Triforce of Courage. Ganondorf might have planned to capture or kill Link to prevent him from becoming a problem, but he might also have been curious to see how Link would develop, potentially seeing him as a means to an end in gaining the full Triforce.
Zelda (Tetra): By the time Ganondorf encounters Zelda in The Wind Waker, she is already Tetra, a capable pirate captain. Ganondorf might have initially intended to use her to locate the Triforce of Wisdom, similar to how he sought the Triforce in Ocarina of Time. Once he knew who she really was, capturing her would have been a priority to complete his control over the Triforce. Since Zelda is older and more aware of her heritage, Ganondorf might have planned to use her more directly as a pawn in his schemes.
Realistic/Dark Interpretation
If we're looking at a darker, more realistic scenario:
Link: Ganondorf might have seen Link as a potential future adversary, especially after recognizing the boy's courage and abilities. If Ganondorf wanted to be thorough, he might have considered killing Link to eliminate any future threats, though in a darker twist, he could also try to corrupt or enslave him, using him as a pawn or tool.
Zelda: Given her lineage and importance in the balance of power, a darker Ganondorf might have planned to imprison Zelda, brainwash her, or even use her in some kind of ritualistic way to ensure his dominance over Hyrule. In a very dark interpretation, he might have considered forcing her into a political or even literal marriage to solidify his rule, though such ideas are more disturbing and speculative.
Overall, Ganondorf’s plans for both Link and Zelda would have been centered around maintaining his control over Hyrule and eliminating any threats to his power, using whatever means necessary, even if those means were cruel or ruthless.

I decided to give fun descriptions to all of the tantalus. Bare in mind, some of these are headcanons.
Ruby, the Belle of the Tantalus and arguably the spiciest pepper of the troupe. She's sassy and headstrong with a tall passion for theatre. She's very supportive of her boys but not afraid to put them in their place.
The mysteriously patched and scarred Blank, often considered the 'brains of the Tantalus', is adapt at potion making and remedial magic. Slightly reserved, he might seem a bit grumpy on the exterior but once you've gained his trust and respect you'll find he has a heart of gold.
Zidane, the youngest tantalus member, known for his cheeky attitude and boisterous personality, he's undoubtedly Baku's adopted son. Though he's sometimes recklessly implusive, Zidane will always be there for his friends.
Marcus is often playing the moderator in the troupe, he's the voice of sense. He loves a good joke, especially one that involves getting Blank fired up (he thinks it's hilarious), whiskey on the rocks and a cigar by the fire. He'll probably beat you in a game of tetra master and although he looks big and intimidating on the inside he's a total softie... Just don't get on his bad side.
Cinna, master of dry sarcasm and coffee making (and a litany of other hobbies that, much to the amusement of the other Tantalus, include knitting). He's a bit over protective of what's his; "Nobody wants your raggedy-ass doll Cinna!" He's also not the most patient person sometimes, but hey, at least he's usually very dependable!
Baku -- the big man on top! He's the boss of the tantalus with the booming voice to prove it! He has a motto that involves something about tough love, respect and loyalty but everytime he repeats it he changes the words so maybe his memory isn't too great. What he says goes, even if it's a little questionable at times.

Subliminal in Scrubs (the records) | navi. | m.list
The orientation went by like a breeze with Ms. Narae’s quick run throughs of Woocheon’s clinical processes and systems, training programs, hospital expectations, and the explanation of the rest of the map of the hospital you weren’t able to cover during your tour earlier. Before she wraps up, she retrieves your IDs from underneath the table and places them on top of the desk for everyone to get later. She dismisses the orientation exactly ten minutes before twelve, requesting everyone to head straight to their department’s on-call room after the break.
Soomin, who you’ve recently discovered to have her own Youtube channel, takes out her phone and records a video. You watch from the side as Soomin does her thing, until she tries to call you all over and officially introduce you as good friends turned work colleagues to all her subscribers.
You hadn’t really expected this whole vlogger thing from her, especially when Soomin was a bit reserved when you were first acquainted with each other, but then again, as your friendship grew, you realized that she had a bit of Chohee in her as well and you thought that’s what caused you to gravitate towards her naturally.
“Anybody up for lunch?” Soomin asks, rubbing her hands together after she finishes her short recording and tucks her phone back in her pocket. “Yeah, I’m starving...” you murmur, placing a hand on your belly as you hear your stomach grumble its complaint.
“I heard Woocheon is known to have the best hospital food in Korea. Ever.” Jungkook says, looking around. You’re starting to get skeptical about how Jungkook is lingering around Jimin...Or was it the other way around now? “Shall we?” With Jungkook’s undeniable proposition, Soomin briefly glances at your reluctant face, her own lips pursing with your reaction. “Fine,” you sigh.
There’s no getting rid of Jungkook now.
Woocheon’s cafeteria...does not look like a cafeteria at all.
You weren’t expecting an...urban haven of some sort, a portion of the hospital that you had least envisioned to what seems to be the warmest part of Woocheon. The laminated flooring, faux wooden grain wall panels, along with the suspended lights from this wave-like uneven wooden ceiling - it was as picturesque as a spread on an interior design magazine.
The interior could easily outrival any other kitchen in the city. “Are you sure this is not some hotel we just walked into?” Jimin questions as he marvels over the sleek urban design of the cafeteria. There’s even a café - which you recognize holds the same logo as Good Day café. You ought to confirm this with Jimin later.
As you near the serving area, the unmistakable aroma of roast beef fills your senses, making you hungrier than you were just seconds before. “Please don’t tell me Woocheon is actually serving roast beef...”
You practically salivate at the sight of the food in the counters, a lot of which you realized were influenced by western food culture. There were three different kinds of salad to choose from, baked potatoes, burgers, seafood stew, stir-fried meat, as well as the Korean classic side dishes that you’d never miss in a meal. And, true to your trusty sense of smell, roast beef was at the end of the line up in all its roasted glory.
“Yeap,” Soomin says as she turns to face you, “You have three options for the sauce too: mushroom gravy, pepper sauce, or truffle sauce,” Soomin replies matter-of-factly, pointing at the farther end of the food counter.
“Oh I love this place already!” Exclaims Jimin who’s undecided between eating to his heart’s content and risking a stomachache on the first day of work, or sacrifice half of the dishes for a later time in your stay at Woocheon. Thankfully, Jimin decides on the former.
“Make sure you have your IDs ready,” Jungkook announces as he joins the line after you. “You’ll have to tap it against this tiny device then they will automatically deduct the total amount of the food you got from your account.”
Jimin’s face falls instantly at the realization. Jungkook claps the other man’s back, face crumpled as he keeps his laughter in. “Still love this place, Jimin-ssi? Don’t worry now, the three of us can pretend we didn’t hear anything at all.”
With features forlorn, Soomin makes a hilarious attempt to appease Jimin’s disappointment by stating facts - “Jimin-ah. Hospital food isn’t free.”
“Yeah. I realize that now,” Jimin replies, an ingenuine smile playing on his lips.
“Cheer up though! Ms. Narae did mention faculty and staff get a five percent discount on all hospital services...just so happened that they included the cafeteria there as well.”
Albeit reluctant about the price, Soomin manages to convince your entire group to try out the roast beef for once (and probably your last too. Figures.) “Oh, and by the way, there is one thing that’s free actually. It’s the drink of the day - free for all staff. One each, and available during lunch only.”
Your eyes travel to the end of the counter straight away at Soomin’s reminder. Calculating the number of cartons left and the people left in the queue, you’re beyond pleased at the fact that you’ll be able to get a free 250ML carton of banana milk today, and also the last person to do so.
Unfortunately for you, a staff member returns to the counter and retrieves a tetra pack, claiming it was for a senior doctor who forgot to claim the drink. Much to your dismay, a middle-aged man in a white coat was waving to the counter, with his other hand pointing to his tray to prove that he really wasn’t able to take any milk with him. You can’t hide the scowl that creeps on your face.
Through your peripheral vision, you notice Jungkook closely monitoring the milk as well, the same look of disappointment evident on his face. Maybe losing the milk wasn’t that bad. After all, if you couldn’t one, Jungkook wouldn’t be able to score one either.
While Jimin checks out his food, one of the kitchen staff suddenly retrieves another carton from the other side of the counter, mumbling about how it must’ve fallen over earlier. You were just about to grab it when the lady at the till calls you next, and you’re forced to move your tray sideward so she can calculate the total amount of your order.
When you look up to grab your free drink, Jungkook reaches out at the same time and manages to snatch the milk quicker than you. “Hey!” Jungkook simply shrugs his shoulders at your indignant tone. “Sorry darling, finders keepers.”
You stare at him in disbelief, until the lady calls for Jungkook next, a little too loud for your liking. Your eyeroll comes almost involuntarily, and you shake your head as you follow where Jimin and Soomin were headed to as they look for a seat.
Jungkook arrives shortly after you do, so you immediately lose the chance to rant about your annoyance towards the latter. He decides to sit across you and you don’t have the chance to complain about it either when he sticks the straw in his milk while he smirks at you.
What an actual kid.
You promised yourself you won’t let him get to you, choosing inner peace over fighting with a brat. Besides, two can play at this game, and it’s going to take more than a small carton of milk for him to truly vex you, so you simply smile at him back, returning the favor (of course, while secretly wishing he might choke on his banana milk too).
“Would you guys mind if I recorded a little bit?” Murmurs of agreement are heard across the table. “Alrightey then,” says Soomin, “This time, none of you boys will be able to escape the camera this time around.” Just as you’d expected, Jimin and Jungkook whine in chorus, vocally expressing their petulance towards Soomin’s ‘vloggering’.
“Hey! For all you know, you two might even bring more subscribers when I put you two as my thumbnail!”
“I’m shy…” Jimin argues as he poorly covers his face with his small ID, yet continues to peek through the small gap between the card and the lanyard.
Soomin rolls her eyes at their childishness and records her food first, praising how surprisingly appetizing the hospital food is. She proceeds to pan the camera towards you as you say hi for the second time today. As Soomin moves onto Jimin, he instantly puts his ID down and waves at the camera sporting a cute smile. “Everyone, this is what ‘camera shy’ looks like nowadays.”
On the other hand, Jungkook, shameless as ever, pretends to not pay any regard to the camera but he decides to chew on his food with much suave, jaw tightening with every bite of the beef. Soomin calls on Jungkook to say hi, to which he responds by introducing himself and punctuating his statement with a flirty wink.
For some reason, you feel your stomach drop at the action, causing you to look away momentarily while Soomin instantaneously switches back to her front camera, “Okay, everyone, let’s just pretend these two weren’t flirting with the camera just now.” Soomin shakes her head at the two, deciding that was enough content about lunch at the hospital cafeteria.
“Shame the camera couldn’t handle it,” Jimin says, pouting as he places a hand over his chest.
“Maybe it was the lady behind the camera that couldn’t,” adds Jungkook who continues to wink, alternating both his eyes before making a weird face.
“Okay Jeon. I think that’s enough winking for today.”
Jungkook wouldn’t stop though and Soomin finally looks at you for help, “Diagnosis: winkitis, ophthalmologist recommends immediate enucleation.”
“Of course! How could I forget? A wink for this young lady over here too.” Jungkook turns to you now but you simply squint your eyes at him as you fake choking on thin air, “I think I might have lost my appetite altogether.”
As the three of you head back to the locker rooms to retrieve your stuff before going to the surgery department, another hospital staff stops briefly on their way to greet Soomin. It’s the third time in ten minutes and you’re starting to think Soomin knows not just ‘someone’ from the hospital. Strangely enough, they all seemed like they came from different departments too. This particular person must be of high authority or someone really famous to have people greet her as often as this.
When you round the corner, at the end of the corridor is a lady in formal attire, sporting the same ID as yours and it’s Soomin who approaches this person this time. As she pulls the person aside, she urges the three of you to go ahead, telling you she’ll catch up in a moment, leaving you sandwiched between Jimin and Jungkook who tower over you easily.
“Jimin, do you happen to know who it is exactly she knows here?”
The blond shakes his head no. “She’s never mentioned anybody in particular...all I know too is that she knows somebody here.”
“Some relatives perhaps? Maybe she’s a family member of a renowned doctor here?”
“How about her Youtube channel? Maybe she’s famous then? How many followers does she have?”
You quickly tap on Youtube on your phone with Jungkook’s prodding, looking up her channel on the app. “It says here she’s got quite the following actually... “ you tilt the screen for them to see, “six thousand followers…”
“That can’t be it. The second one who greeted her was at least in his mid-fifties...Boomers couldn’t have possibly been following...what does she vlog about again? Um… a day in the life of a med student…”
From behind you, you faintly hear a ‘goodbye’ and you clear your throat, alerting the two of Soomin’s return. “What were you guys going on about here?”
Jungkook chuckles, smoothly making up an alibi as he takes your phone in his hands, “Hope you don’t mind us checking out your channel…” Surely enough, your screen was showing a video of Soomin studying for her finals.
“As long as you subscribe, it’s fine with me.” She gives you all a thumbs up. “It’s been a while since I posted anything though...Maybe if we get to the on-call room early, maybe I could film a few shots too! Come on!” Soomin hooks your arm in hers and drags you to the locker rooms, leaving the two boys standing there in the middle of the hallway.
You figure the four of you were the first interns to arrive, as most of the doctors lounging around were either in their scrubs or heading out for lunch. “Soomin,” Jungkook seemingly deep in thought, taps the girl’s shoulder.
“Hmm?”
“Remember when you bumped into me on the day of our graduation...you were with someone right? Um...Jung...Ho...I can’t quite remember his name…”
“Oh you mean Jung Hoseok? He’s my cousin.”
As Jungkook opens his mouth to reply, someone calls Soomin from the other side of the room. “Soomin! You’re here!” You spot the surgeons you’ve met during the hospital tour earlier this morning - Dr. Min Yoongi, Dr. Kim Seokjin, and Dr. Kim Namjoon. You all bow promptly as soon as they stand up.
“I didn’t really have that much of a choice,” Soomin grumbles as she gets squished with each of the doctors’ hugs. “Come on! You’re saying that as if Woocheon isn’t any good at all!”
The three of you stand awkwardly in the corner while Soomin and the other doctors mingle with each other. You nudge Jungkook’s elbow, “Hey what’s with Soomin’s cous--?”
“Oh right! These are my friends - ________, Park Jimin, and Jeon Jungkook. We’re all under your care now.” The three doctors call you over, extending their arms out for a handshake, “Ready to lose your social life?” Dr. Min asks, his bright tone contrasting his drift.
“It’s an honor to meet you Dr. Min, Dr. Kim, and Dr. Kim.” You bow curtly. “Oh doctor? It's too much! Call us sunbae instead. Oppa is cool too when we’re not working.” Dr. Seokjin’s handshake lingers a little longer than usual and you feel your cheeks start to heat up. “Besides, I don’t know what I’m doing most of the time.”
Yoongi visibly grimaces at Seokjin’s words, while Namjoon covers his face with his hands, mumbling, “Hyung.... For the love of god, please make sure the patients never ever hear that…”
Namjoon’s reaction elicits laughter from the whole group, but someone’s laugh stands out above all and it’s coming from the other side of the door. Soomin seems to recognize the voice instantly. “He’s here!”
“Soooommmiiiiiinnn!!!” A loud voice echoes throughout the room. He hugs Soomin briefly, and addresses the rest of you. “Wassup bros?” The newcomer gives each of the surgeons a dap in greeting then turns to greet you three.
“The whole gang's here!” He says, rubbing his chin, “Let me guess...Jeon Jungkook, _________, and Park Jimin, right?”
Eyes wide in surprise, you nod slowly. “Soomin here has told me all about you!” Soomin is behind the man, drawing a hand across her throat. “My name’s Jung Hoseok, by the way. Nice to finally meet you all.”
“He’s the next chairman of the Woocheon Medical City,” Seokjin whispers as he winks in your direction. Hoseok elbows him in the ribs. “No I’m not.”
“Ah yes. Correction. Not yet.” Seokjin mumbles, massaging his sides. You, Jimin, and Jungkook look at each other with knowing gazes. So that’s the ‘someone’ Soomin knows.
Woocheon ought to be...interesting.

yo yo yo! do you do platonic x readers? if not then just ignore this-- BUT i was wondering what it would be like to be best friends with shinso & midoriya (separately?? idk). im ✨lonely✨ and theyre both really sweet, so 👉👈
platonic relationship headcanons
ㅤㅤ ↪︎ STARRING: izuku midoriya, hitoshi shinsou; gn!reader
ㅤㅤ ↪︎ THEMES: platonic (obv), fluffy!
ㅤㅤ ↪︎ INTERMISSIONS: so sorry for the late response! thank you for requesting and i really enjoyed writing this! plus omg i love the new minimalist banners :D
『• • • ✎ HITOSHI SHINSOU
hitoshi is also a cancerian like izuku. for short, he is one of the best people to be a friend because of his personality
due to his past, hitoshi would be untrusting at first. you have to be patient with him if you want him to be your friend. for short, you have to earn his trust.
at first, he’d be really confused why you’d want to be his friend. do you have some ill intentions? are you genuine?
when he sees you on a positive note, he will slowly accept you in his life. little by little, he’d trust you.
it’s in his nature to be straightforward. so do expect him to always say the truth, no matter how harsh it is
but don’t worry, because that is hitoshi’s way of caring for you. he would always want the beat for you, and if he had to be harsh, then he’d do so.
“why would you want to be my friend, anyways?” he’d question you during the first few times you’d hang out with him, sipping some tetra pak milk you offered him because you pretended that you brought it on a buy 1-take 1. he’d know you’re lying anyway
he rarely has trusted friends—none, to be honest. every friend he had, if they ever considered him that way, only wanted to use him for his quirk. whilst some stopped hanging out with him because of the same thing—they’re just afraid of it
it would take awhile for him to adjust, but hitoshi would already trust you and call you his friend in his mind, no matter how it seems he doesn’t on the outside
deep conversations. that’s what you should prepare for when you’re a friend of hitoshi. he often doesn’t sleep because he’s overthinking or he just simply couldn’t, too used to his old habits that never died.
he treats you to snacks often, if you love eating. he often does the small things for you.
he sometimes becomes distant, especially when you’re teased for always hanging out with him, and he won’t come back if you don’t initiate it or prove to him that you’re his friend and it’s a choice of your own
『• • • ✎ IZUKU MIDORIYA
izuku’s zodiac sign is cancer. it’s basically in his nature that he is a very good friend
when he first saw you, he never had an inkling of judgment on you, not that he always found them in people. it just feels like he knew that you are a kind person through and through from a single glance
call it his intuition
that’s probably why you easily became one of his closest friends in class a; always eating lunches together, walking side by side in the hallways, and even taking you to your place no matter how far it is whenever you come home from hanging out with him in his house—well partly because it’s his mom who insisted him to take care of his friend
being izuku’s friend also includes being used to how he mumbles and drifts off a lot, so there will be times when he would not listen to what you’re saying, but don’t be mad at him because he’s not doing it purposely
also, you have to indulge in his all might fanboy tendencies because well, it’s quite obvious that he’s a fan of the said hero
everyday, especially when you’re both in hero training, is a scary day too. izuku can be such a risk-taker that you, as his friend, worries about him and his life to the point you’d get irritated and sometimes snap at or smack him when you see him all bruised up as usual
if you had been his friend since middle school, you also have to stop bakugo and others from abusing your friend most of the time that it would get you headaches everyday
when you two got to yuuei and found out you and izuku were in the same class with bakugo, you’ll just have to facepalm yourself, muttering “here we go again” under your breath
it’s fun to be with izuku, nonetheless. he blabbers a lot, he’s very decisive when it comes to where you two would eat lunch, he is also a very giving friend:
you want another piece of sushi? he can give you his! you want the last slice of pizza? take it! wanna taste the flavor of his ordered boba? he’ll gladly offer you a sip!
he’s very open, welcoming and such a literal sunshine that it would be your choice to want to always see him smile or happy
you’d want to see him live and be the greatest hero—his very dream
so then you’d be inspired to follow him to yuuei, with quirk or not. you’d want to watch him succeed in life, even if you’ll sacrifice yourself, you will. you’re just be the protagonist’s friend, and you’d surely feel that way

Can do! Oh, lemme spoiler it for people who don't know the manga and don't want spoilers.
Okay so Minish isn't Four in the manga because when you start, it tells you the tale of how Four defeated Vaati the first time, making it clear that this is a different Link. However, when you start Phantom Hourglass, there is nothing to indicate a separate between the two heroes. The start into the manga is seamless, and Phantom even says "I'm a hero" when complaining to Tetra about having to swab the deck. However, he never really clarifies what his adventure was. Which means it can be Wind Waker or Minish Cap. However, Phantom doesn't appear to have the Wind Waker, which leads at least me to believe he's more likely to be Minish.
Anyways, correct me if I'm wrong, but Tetra and Linebeck are in Wind Waker, right? So this leads me to think Wind Waker is the next adventure after Phantom (especially since Tetra doesn't become Princess Zelda at the end). And if Phantom and Minish are the same... well, Wind has some explaining to do XD
Other indicators of Phantom and Minish possibly being one in the same include Minish getting a hat from Ezlo at the end of the manga, almost 1 to 1 design, and again; same book. However, I will note that Minish calls them Picori, and this is when Vaati first gets his fancy hat (however he's also good at the end so *shrugs*). It's also possible Four Sword Link and the Hero talked about at the beginning of Minish Cap are also separate people, but yeah, there's my thoughts. It's more a conspiracy than a theory pfft
Btw, anyone who has additions(proving or disproving, as long as it's polite idc) to this theory, please *grabby hands* give
Going throught my LoZ manga and noticed in one of the Legendary Editions I have, Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass are combined.
This sent me down a Wind might be Minish and Phantom spiral XD
HELLO?!??!?!
Softie!!! Please elaborate on this! I want details!

So, with the help of the wonderful @wandering-horizon, I came up with a Legend of Zelda / Linked Universe AU where every Link is a Zelda species that isn’t Hylian So here’s what I came up with and how it influenced their respective stories
Sky - Rito
When Skyloft was raised above the clouds by Hylia, the Rito were already there
The Rito helped the Hylians get accustomed to life above the clouds and the two species quickly came to rely upon each other
Link is born a Rito and grows up on Skyloft, where things are pretty similar to the original story, he is best friends with Zelda and studies at the academy to become a knight
When Zelda disappears beneath the clouds, he draws the goddess sword and follows her
Things continue on quite the same way as in the game, just with Link wielding the sword with both his "hands" and foot claws, because him flying around and cutting down enemies at the same time is just really neat
He also pecks out one of Ghirahim's eyes at one point because he can
Four - Minish
I've had this headcanon, that the Hero of Men, the one before Four who made the picori blade, was actually a Minish who came through the Minish door (which transformed him into a Hylian for the time) to protect Hyrule
So yeah, basically that
Link is Ezlo's grandson who is also an apprentice with Melari and when Vaati goes rogue he helps his grandfather in defeating him
I imagine him being really confused by being so tall at first and that he still retains some Minish like traits
Time - Kokiri
Link is an actual Kokiri in this, with Navi as his fairy
His life in the Kokiri forrest is pretty peaceful, though Mido still bullies him, because he's best friends with Saria and Mido is jealous, until the Deku Tree calls for him
The Kokiri Emerald allows him to leave the forrest unharmed and so he goes to help Zelda
The rest of the story is pretty much the same, except that he doesn't age when he goes into the future, because he really is an immortal forrest child this time around
Let's just say that Ganondorf is pretty angry about being beaten by a 9 year old
At the start of Majora's Mask when Skullkid steals the ocarina and Epona, he also imprisons Navi in a bottle
Tatl is kind of shocked about that and that plus the fact that she can sense his Kokiri nature result in her trusting and liking Link much sooner
Link manages to free Navi when he gets back his ocarina and from then on it's another adventure, this time not just with his mom but also with his newly acquired older sister Tatl
Twi - Twili
His story is quite different from the one in the game
With him growing up in a completely different world and such
In the beginning he lived a relatively simple life, getting by by doing odd jobs for other people
When Zant staged his coup and started turning helpless Twili into Shadow beasts, Link tried his best to help people escape in time
Zant really didn't like this and sent the beasts after him
Not wanting to fight his people, he ran, stumbling onto the portal to Hyrule
Eventually, Zant caught up to him and tossed him out into the light in the hopes of killing him
Instead of dying, Link is saved by the triforce, which transforms him into a wolf which let's him survive in the world of light
He knows he needs to defeat Zant before the usurper can destroy both Hyrule and the Twilight realm and so he sets out to free Hyrule from the Twilight
The light spirits give him their protection and with the master sword he gains the ability to keep his Twili form even in the light
Of course he also travels with Midna, though he meets her later in the story
Also he obviously knows who Midna is, since the name and the vast amount of magic she possesses is kind of a giveaway
Legend - Zora
He's a sea Zora, so he's different from the rather mean ones in his Hyrule, since their tribes lost contact a long long time ago and he looks more like an ocarina of time Zora
A pink one
He washes up at the beach one day when he's still a tiny little kid and a Hylian man (his uncle in the game) takes him in and raises him
He has to deal with a lot of crap from people because he's Zora and most Zora in his Hyrule just really like spitting fire balls at people
It's also why people don't believe him when he goes out to help Zelda and say he's kidnapped her instead
As for Kohilint, the storm hits him when he's out looking for his family and Marin is also a Zora
He ends up being afraid of storms at sea after that whole debacle and just kind of avoids the ocean after it
Hyrule - Fairy
What can I say, he's the original fairy boy after all
He's not just a regular fairy though, but a very young great fairy, young enough that his usual form isn't that different from a regular fairy
However, he possesses a lot more magic and even has the ability to grow to Hylian size for a time, enabling him to wield sword and shield and fight the various monsters and Ganon
One of the reasons he travels so much is the fear of being bound to a single place once he's grown up, being a great fairy and all and he wants to see all much of the world as possible before that
Wind - Korok
He lives in the forest on outset island and is best friends with Aryll
Once Tetra shows up and Aryll gets kidnapped, he decides he needs to go out and save her
So he asks Aryll's grandma for the sword and shield (grandma is kind of surprised since it's the first time she's ever seen a Korok and she wasn't quite sure Aryll didn't just have an imaginary friend) and sneaks onto Tetra's ship
She discovers him, being able to see him even when he doesn't want to be seen, triforce of wisdom and such, but she's so impressed by him being able to sneak onto her ship that she lets him stay
He has fun with the crew, flying over Nico's obstacle course with Korok magics, and infiltrates the forbidden fortress
From there on it's much like in the original stories though everyone is really surprised and shocked that a usually peaceful forest fairy can wield a sword with such devastation
Needles to say, Ganondorf is even more surprised when he's stabbed in the face this time around
Wars - Gerudo
He's Gerudo, he's trans and he's here to end Ganon's whole career
He isn't a Hylian soldier in this but a Gerudo warrior and the first part of the war takes part without him
Which also means that it isn't going too well for the Hylian forces and Ganon revives way faster
The Gerudo haven't dealt much with the rest of Hyrule for many decades, but they take the return of Ganon in the form of a Gerudo as a personal insult and immediately join the war, turning the tide, especially with War's proving himself to be an unrivaled warrior as well as the hero
Wild - Sheikah
With all the Sheikah tech in his game it only makes sense
Before the calamity, he was Zelda's personal bodyguard, the way Sheikah often are for the royal family
Him and Zelda got along pretty well, having known each other for a long time, but they sort of drift apart once he draws the master sword, as Zelda envies him for his easy his destiny came to him, and he kind of struggles with the burden of the whole world, as his life was kind of all laid out for him before the master sword
Once the calamity strikes everything goes pretty much the same way, but his interactive with the yiga clan are way more intense this time around, because he's a Sheikah as well as the hero
So yeah, there you have it, my personal Zelda AU
I hope you like it

Did Link hang on to any of items he obtained in windwaker. Aside from the mirror shield or hero's bow. I know he never used any of them in PH but does he still have them in storage or something? He could tell stories on how he got a lot of them to the other pirates.
He gave most of them back to the korok and rito tribe, in case another hero would need to use them someday.
And gave the hero's bow to Tetra, since she proved to be a great archer in the final battle.
But he does tell stories about his adventures to the pirates, that's what made him form a closer bond with a lot of them - especially Niko and Gonzo.
(also, he kept the ones he got in PH, since he left the Ocean King’s world with them.)

Animal Crossing Fish -Explained #54
Brought to you by a marine biologist going back to freshwater...
CLICK HERE FOR THE AC FISH EXPLAINED MASTERPOST!
Well, maybe just for a bit. We covered all the sharky stuff in ACNH, so let’s hit freshwater again. I realize I didn’t finish up with our South American fish, so let’s do that. We’ll start with the Dorado...if you’re as old as me, or just a fan of animated movies, then you’ll recognize the word from the (amazing) movie “El Dorado” (both fish and movie based in the legend of El Dorado), and that the word just means “golden” in Spanish:
The more you know~~
Anyway, this is a pretty rare fish in the river in ACNH, so you might wanna hunt for bait before going on your journey to fish up this profitable fish - 15,000 bells, friends!
But anyway, I’ve expanded this group of fish to include “South American fish” rather than fish from the Amazon, because as big as that river basin is, the Dorado actually does not appear in it at all. Instead, the Dorado is native to river basins just south of the Amazon in South Brazil, Argentina, and surrounding countries.
The Dorado (Salminus brasiliensis) is a member of the Characiformes, meaning that its closest relatives in the game are the Neon Tetra and Piranha. Lots of tetra-relatives are native to South America, so explains that. Unlike most fish you’d consider a tetra, the Dorado is an apex predator in its range, with few predators of its own once it reaches adult size, which can be 3 ft (100cm) long.
The rarity of this fish in the game is definitely derived from real life. They are considered a highly threatened species in their native countries, due to overfishing and dams that block their migrations to spawn. They are considered an attractive sport fish, growing very large, leaping from the water, and being particularly aggressive towards fly lures, so the fish brings in sport fishermen and therefore revenue, from all over. That’s usually when governments start protecting species - when they can bring in more money alive than dead. Proving this worth is typically the go-to of conservation and scientific endeavors when convincing a country to protect wildlife. I know - it sounds kinda nasty and icky to think that countries don’t think to protect wildlife just because they’re amazing and depriving future generations of them would be cruel, but that’s where we’re at. I’m in the “whatever it takes to conserve a species” camp; I’m not above finding out how a country or company can profit off a species if it means they’ll be protected. Lots of conservationists don’t like that on principle, but I don’t believe we should work so hard to conserve things, especially non-mammals that the average Joe doesn’t think twice about.
The kicker, here, is that the Dorado is also an invasive species in neighboring river basins. Being such an aggressive predator, it is threatening native fish in those rivers...so some countries have found that they are protecting Dorado in some rivers, but not others. I can’t imagine the difficulty in explaining that to the people who live there.
And there you have it. Fascinating stuff, no?
