IT'S FINALLY POSTING WEEK FOR THE MCYTBLR AU FEST!!! YOU GUYS HAVE NO IDEA NOW LONG I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT! Anyway, here's the art I submitted:

So, this is from my Rebirth DSMP AU based on the webtoon Rebirth! I haven't talked about it on here but it's definitely one of my favorite AUs :D For those who have read Rebirth, Wilbur takes Noah's place and Tommy takes Neo's place(and yes, they are brothers in this AU).

Also, it was an absolute pleasure to work with lemon_doodles(I don't know their Tumblr :']) and @deathshadowrules!!

Again, this is an AU heavily based on the webtoon Rebirth, I recommend it, it's really interesting :)

There are themes of time travel/time loops, zombies/zombie apocalypse, superpowers, and this is also a modern AU.

The world ended on November 16th(date idea credits to deathshadowrules) when during a solar eclipse, everyone on Earth passed out for an unexplainable reason and when they woke up the next day, half of those people became zombies, later referred to as the Undead due to them having abilities that exceed the zombies typically depicted in media. This day became known as Armageddon. Along with the rise of the Undead, some of the remaining humans gained abilities/superpowers.

Summary: Wilbur had experienced this apocalyptic world and survived for 6 years. In the later part of those 6 years, he ended up letting Tommy, his brother who he disregarded for years before Armageddon, get captured(I think by the military) for experimentation due to his unique abilities and body. (I'm trying not to spoil too much of Rebirth so some of this is vague TvT) He regretted this decision greatly because he found that he still cared a lot about Tommy, despite their relationship not being great over the years, so he decided to save Tommy from the experimentation. In doing so, he died right after he freed Tommy from the test tube he was being kept in, wishing he had one more chance to fix his mistakes, mainly to make sure that Tommy will remain safe and to (hopefully) mend their long-broken relationship. Then, Wilbur wakes up on November 15th, the day before Armageddon began, which was 6 years ago. He had traveled back in time after he died. He realized that this was his chance to save Tommy. Little did Wilbur know that Tommy has been in a sort of timeloop where once he dies in one timeline, he goes back in time near the start of Armageddon and starts another timeline.

Extra Details Time!

When Wilbur got sent back in time after his death, he got a white streak in his hair with a few gold strands(in the art, it literally just looks blonde because I messed up and couldn't fix it, I tried ahdkshj) Also, I was originally going to make one of Wilbur's eyes gold but I totally forgot while coloring and couldn't go back to fix it. Btw, the whole thing with the gold hair strands, butterflies, text, and eye makes more sense if you read Rebirth but I don't know how to explain it.

Wilbur and Tommy are not biologically related to Phil and Techno but Wilbur is still very close with them. He's known Phil and Techno since he was young and treated them more like family than his actual family. Tommy never really interacted much with Phil and Techno and honestly kind of avoided them. He didn't really know why he avoided those two, maybe because he was salty that Wilbur was always more friendly to them than to him. But otherwise, Tommy feels pretty neutral towards them and gains more respect for them throughout Armageddon due to how stable their living situation is for the end of the world(they've got a good base and everything. Their roles are based on the Blanche family)

Wilbur's wife is Sally, but unfortunately, she's a pretty self-centered person and attempts to hide this but her actions really expresses this fact. She takes the place of Parish, for those who read the webtoon, and I deeply apologize.

Fundy is Wilbur and Sally's son. He doesn't really like Tommy but they start being a bit less aggressive towards each other as the story progresses. He takes Abel's place.

Wilbur's ability is advanced fire manipulation instead of blood manipulation like Noah from Rebirth. Since Noah's blood manipulation has an unbelievable amount of possibilities, I kind of had to twist the possibilities of fire manipulation so that Wilbur's abilities are still able to fill the role they need to. If you want to get a good idea of a way Wilbur uses his fire manipulation, think like- Colonel Mustang's flame alchemy from Fullmetal Alchemist but instead of using alchemy, Wilbur causes his fire to burst.

Schlatt takes Ian's role and is just as much of a prick but him and Wilbur aren't brothers. Schlatt is a businessman that comes from a family that is close with Wilbur's, so they've known each other since they were kids(they were introduced to each other at a young age in the hopes they would be friendly enough to be able to work closely with each other). They were sort of friends before Schlatt became a prick but Wilbur still had to deal with him because he is a genuinely good businessman for the company(btw, I should probably mention that Wilbur owns a pretty big business, for those who don't have that context from Rebirth. Idk if the business will be the same or if I'll change it to fit Wilbur better)

Tubbo is Schlatt's son(from a previous marriage) but Schlatt is a pretty distant father because he doesn't really care. Tubbo takes Iva's place but has a different personality because he's older than Iva, and therefore, less innocent.

Quackity is married to Schlatt but he isn't Schlatt's first partner. A few months into the marriage, Quackity began regretting the marriage but felt like he couldn't end it. He takes Lena's place but him and Tubbo act more like close friends. They're both happy with their friendship and don't feel the need to push it to "family". Quackity still takes care of Tubbo though since Schlatt definitely isn't :/

Niki takes Li's place but is a bit less emotionless/cold. Her ability is being able to control water and its temperature(basically waterbending). Also, since people usually ship Noah and Li, I would just like to specify that Niki and Wilbur are friends and only friends.

Some ages(these are still a work in progress though): Wilbur- 26/28, Tommy- 14, Fundy- ~8-10, Tubbo- 14, Niki- 21/22

Joel had never really planned on having another kid. Hell, he’d barely even planned on having the first - definitely not as young as he’d been - but Rae had gotten pregnant and they’d gotten married and then barely a year after Sarah’s birth, she’d decided she wasn’t cut out for motherhood, and she bailed. Sarah had no memories of her, but other than a few growing pains here and there, she’d never seemed to be worse off without her.

Joel had raised her and watched her graduate and sent her off to college (all the way to San Marcos, which really isn’t that far, Dad, I’ll come visit plenty) and then realized he had no damn idea what to do with his life now. No soccer practice to cart her to, no sleepovers to host, no extracurriculars to plan around.

Now it was just him and his empty house and enough woodcarvings to fill the time that Tommy finally confiscated his knives and said he could have them back if he left the house once a week for two months.

So, after digging around on the internet a little, he’d gone to the library down the street, picked up their calendar, and signed up for the monthly book club and the Spanish conversation group. Both of which, it turned out, were attended by a woman named Anna who had a habit of shooting him amused looks when one of the other book club members made an asinine remark.

True to his word, Tommy returned the knives to him after two months, but they started collecting dust almost immediately because Joel spent all his free time with Anna. A coffee date turned into a dinner date and within two weeks they were seeing each other near daily.

Sarah had been astonished - and more than a little skeptical - when Joel sat her down and told her that he and Anna were planning to get married, with her blessing of course, barely ten months after meeting. Joel could see it all over her face that she didn’t think it would last, that he was having some kind of midlife crisis - not helped by the fact that Anna was nearly ten years younger than him - and that they wouldn’t last the year.

But she could see how important this was to him, so she gave her blessing anyway. No matter her own reservations, she wanted her dad to be happy. And she liked Anna a lot, thought her a good match for Joel, even if everything was moving unsettlingly fast.

They’d done a small ceremony in the backyard, just Sarah, Tommy, and Anna’s best friend Marlene in attendance. And for another two years that had been their family; neither of them had planned on having kids.

But then Anna started throwing up, missed her period, and those two lines on the test turned pink. And suddenly, they were having a baby.

Ellie made her arrival a week before Sarah’s twenty-first birthday, and Joel’s eldest spent what should have been a night out partying pacing laps around their living room cradling her sister, while Joel and Anna snagged a few precious hours of sleep. He’d been worried that getting a baby sister when she herself was full grown would be a problem for Sarah, but it had been the opposite. Ellie was Sarah’s favorite person ever, a feeling that went both ways as Ellie got older.

Wild, Joel thought, watching Ellie and Sarah float in their tubes ahead of him and Anna, how his girls could be so far apart in years and yet be so close and so similar. Maybe not wild, just…lucky.

The two of them are shooting mischievous grins over their shoulders now, and Joel shares a wry look with Anna. Her nose and cheeks are tinted red with the sun, tips of her fingers tracing lightly through the water as they float down the San Marcos River.

“Here,” Joel says, carefully tossing her the small tube of sunscreen. He points to his own nose and cheeks. “Think you need a bit of a touch up, you’re gettin’ a little crispy.”

Anna gives him a wry smile, rubbing a fresh coat over her face. “Not all of us were made to roast in the Texas sun, sweetheart.”

Joel shrugs. “Can’t help it that I tan and you don’t, darlin’. Y’know –”

Something pushes hard on the bottom of his tube, and Joel goes ass over head into the river, the cold temperature jolting him into opening his mouth and damn near inhaling enough water to fill his lungs. When his head breaks the surface a chorus of laughter greets him - six feet away Ellie is clambering back into her tube while Sarah tries to hold it steady. Next to him Anna is howling, her own hand barely maintaining a grip on his tube while the other clutches her stomach. He doesn’t bother climbing back into it; instead he propels himself forward through the water until he’s caught up to the girls.

Ellie shrieks and tries to paddle away, but she’s too slow, and Joel has her flipped into the water in a matter of seconds. He waits until she surfaces, gulps in a bit of air, and then promptly dunks her again.

She comes back up sputtering, a hand frantically trying to wipe her face clean. “Rude!” is all she manages, scooping a hand through the water to splash him. It hits him in the chest - he can still hear Sarah and Anna laughing - and he propels himself forward to hook an arm around her waist and hoist her up over his shoulder. It takes more effort to keep them afloat - his back is gonna hate him for this later, fifty-seven is really a bit too old to be lifting teenagers, even ones as scrawny as Ellie - but he paddles them unevenly back over towards Anna.

“Caught you something, huh?” His wife calls, shielding her face when Ellie aims a splash of water her way too.

“Sarah neglected to mention the river was full of gremlins,” he says back, giving her a grin before sucking in a breath and plunging himself - and his squirming daughter - under the water once more. Only once they’ve surfaced again does he release her, the two of them treading water.

“Anyone ever tell you you’re an ass?” Ellie says playfully, splashing him again.

“Anyone ever tell you you’re a little shit?” He retorts, splashing her right back.

“Anyone ever tell either of you that you're exactly the same?” Anna cuts in from behind them, one hand still holding Joel’s tube.

“No,” they reply simultaneously, and she lets out another bark of laughter, echoed by Sarah on the other side of them.

“I’m never bringing y’all floating again,” she says teasingly, her head tipping back dramatically.

“Oh please,” Ellie doggy paddles forward, hoisting herself back into her tube next to her sister. “You’d be so bored doing this without us. You love us.”

Sarah scrunches up her nose, pretending to think for a moment before she leans over - nearly upsetting her own tube - and smacking a kiss onto her younger sister’s cheek. “Yeah, guess I do.”

Five times Scott tried not to care and one time he does

Chapter 1

(Hey all! I decided to make a Scott imposter au! Check it out on Ao3)

Scott had been assigned to help Yellow with test samples in the medical bay for the day. Carrying a box full of test tubes and beakers, Scott could feel his tentacles twitch beneath his suit with anticipation. This would be his first kill.

He and Owen had planned this perfectly. Owen would kill the lights, causing mass confusion throughout the ship. Scott would strike down Yellow before the lights were fixed, then morph and vent to the cafeteria to have an alibi, saying he was getting food ready for him and Yellow as after they were finished, they were scheduled to have lunch.

Scott set the heavy box on the counter and started pulling out the glass tubes. Yellow began doing the same, humming a small tune. Yellow filled six tubes with test samples. Scott began preparing and mentally counting down the seconds when he was startled by Yellow talking.

“So Cyan, how are you settling in?” Yellow questioned.

“Uh…I think I’m good.” He replied, a bit confused.

Yellow shrugged a bit as he turned his back towards Scott, placing the tubes in one by one.

“It just seems like you and Orange are a bit standoffish. Which is fine, but you seem to be keeping your distance.”

Scott could feel his tentacles prepare to strike as he responded, “I’m just not used to such a tight-knit group. I feel like it isn’t my place to try to force myself in.”

Yellow paused in his movements, “Oh. Sorry, we made you feel that way. We would happily have you with us.” Yellow turned around excitedly. “Here, you can call me Wilbur! That’s my real name. I know we are not supposed to share it. But Yellow is too informal.”

Scott froze in shock and sputtered, “What?”

Yellow- no Wilbur- nodded. “Yeah, you guys are part of the family now, so it’s only fair that you can call us by our real names. Besides we trust you two now that it has been a few weeks.”

Right at that moment, the room went dark. Wilbur cursed and began fumbling around. Scott knew he should lunge, but his feet were planted on the floor. His tentacles melted back into his back as he internally panicked. Never had a human revealed their name to Scott. They always were just colors. Of course, Scott knew that humans had names, but names made everything more personal.

This wasn’t supposed to happen. He was supposed to get an easy quick kill. Plus, family? Wilbur called him part of the family. Imposters didn’t have families. Heck, they barely had friends. Once a hatchling left the nursery, they were moved to the facility to start imposter training. Then they were sent across the galaxies to kill off humans. That was Scott’s childhood.

He had heard that humans easily pack bonded, but they barely even knew each other. Did the other humans feel the same? Has every human he ever killed felt this way towards him?

By the time Scott snapped out of his moral crisis, Wilbur had found a flashlight in one of the drawers of the lab, granted, Scott could see just fine but he wasn’t about to say so.

“Come on, let’s go check electrical, Cyan.” Wilbur smiled and grabbed his hand, dragging him along. Scott let himself be pulled around the hallways.

By the time they reached Electrical, Pink had just fixed the lights.

“Hey, Techno! Do you know what happened?” Wilbur questioned.

Techno looked over his shoulder. “Someone flipped the switches. Nothing was damaged though. You were in the medical bay with Cyan, right Wil?”

Scott was once again shocked by the casual usage of their names. This was so foreign to him.

“Yeah, neither of us left the med bay,” Wilbur confirmed. “Cyan was by my side the whole day.”

Techno squinted and frowned. “Odd…hm. I’ll mention it at dinner tonight.”

Wilbur nodded. “Yeah, let Phil know. It was probably Tommy playing a prank again.” Wilbur laughed quietly.

“Yeah, you’re probably right,” Techno agreed. “Well, I should get back to navigation. See you two later.”

Techno soon left and Wilbur guided Scott back to the medical bay. Scott spent the rest of the day taking and sorting samples for testing. His mind raced with thoughts as he worked. How was he going to explain this to Owen? He groaned and sighed internally.

Later that evening at dinner, Owen had a look of shock and disbelief when Wilbur walked in behind Scott. Scott couldn’t bring himself to face Owen out of fear of what he would think. Scott sat down in between Owen and Green. Dinner was filled with idle chatter. Scott picked at his food, staring down at the table until Green cleared his throat. Everyone quickly fell silent.

“Thank you. I think it is time to make our two newest crew members a part of the family. I think we should introduce ourselves.” Green explained.

A murmur of agreement followed his statement. Scott briefly glanced at Owen. A mix of confusion and surprise painted his face, matching Scott's earlier feelings.

“I’ll start first. I am Captain Philza, or Phil.” Green- no Phil- introduced and smiled.

“I’ll go next,” Light Blue stood and nodded. “You can call me Niki! I mainly do the engineering on the ship.”

“Cyan already knows my name, but I am Wilbur. I’m the doctor on board and Phil’s song.” Wilbur offered a hand to Owen, who shook it politely. Wilbur pointed over to Pink–Techno. “That’s Technoblade, my twin. Or just Techno or Tech for short. He keeps us safe and is the primary fighter.” Techno gave a wave.

Glancing over to Owen, he could see the cogs turning in his head as he narrowed his eyes at Techno. Red suddenly sprang up and stood on the table.

“I’m Tommy Karen Innit! The biggest man ever and wife have! Those losers are my older brothers. I’m training to be the next captain. So, bow down to me!” He shouted, pointing down at Scott.

Lime jumped and pushed Tommy off the table. “Ignore him, I’m Tubbo. I’m in charge of Admin, working with Jack Manifold.” Tubbo said pointing to Blue. Blue huffed and crossed his arms.

“I’m Ranboo, I am interning under Techno to learn under him.” They said meekly and sunk back into his chair. Everyone looked toward them to introduce themselves.

“You may call me Owen,” Owen answered begrudgingly, then pointed at him. “That’s Scott.”

Phil smiled. “It’s nice to finally meet you properly. Owen, you’ll probably be assigned to Niki most days due to your knowledge of mechanics. Scott… You’ll float for a bit to find a good place for you.” Green explained. “You are all dismissed. Have a great night.”

Once everyone had dispersed, Owen dragged Scott to their shared room and threw him onto the bunk. He slammed the door shut before spinning on him.

“What was that, Scott!? You could have killed Yellow! Or Wilbur, whatever his name was! What happened? You’re usually good at stealth kills.” Owen crossed his arms and leaned against the closed door.

“I’m sorry Owen. He just surprised me. He told me his name so casually and caught me off guard. It won’t happen again.” Scott promised.

Owen sighed and sat by Scott. “It’s okay, we all have our rough days. We’ll get them tomorrow, okay?”

“Yeah, sorry again. I don’t know what came over me.” Scott says. Lying through his teeth.

Owen smiled and hugged him. He then got up and went to his bunk. “Night Scott. Love you like a brother.” He says before laying down.

Scott swallowed guiltily. “Night Owen…”

Scott lay down and stared at the ceiling, a lump in his throat as his thoughts ran wild.

He Does His Best To Fit In But Finds It Hard To Socialize With The Other Guards, So He Instead Seeks Out Friendships With The Scientists Of Black Mesa. One Of His Closet Friends Is Tommy. Unlike His Normal Counterpart, He Tries Not To Make It Obvious That He Isn't Human.

Gordon Is Now More Reckless And Has No Regard For Rules. Throughout The Journey Of The Per Swap AU, He Never Wears A Helmet And Has His Hair Out. His Lack Of Care For Safety Is Often The Reason Why He Gets Hurt (Or Killed.) He's Completely Human But Seems Oddly Interested With Becoming An Alien Or Obtaining The Powers Of One. This Of Course Makes Benrey Uncomfortable As He Remarks This A Lot Throughout The Journey. For The Most Part, Gordon Is Completely Clueless To Benrey Being An Alien But When Someone Has A Slip Of The Tongue, This Leads To Similar Events In Act 3.

Keep Reading For The Rest Of The Science Team!

Sadly, I Didn't Include Darold, G-Man Or Forzen, As I Wasn't Confident On Who To Personality Swap With Them. These Swap Choices MIGHT Change As I Flesh Out This AU, But I'm Happy With With Personality Swap Choices.

As Seen In The Sketch Above, Coomer Has Bubby's Personality, Tommy Has Coomer's Personality And Bubby Has Tommy's Personality.

Bubby Is What The Gang Describes As "Overcooked" Because He Was Left In His Tube For Too Long By Accident. Thankfully He Still Remembers The Knowledge That Was Placed Into Him But Because He's Still Relatively New To The Environment Outside Of The Tube, He's Very Curious About A Lot Of Things. He Takes On A Younger Appearance, More To The Likes Of Someone In Their Late 20s, Hence Why He Has A Full Head Of Hair. Bubby Is Aware That Benrey Is An Alien But Doesn't Mention Anything About It, He Does End Up Telling Coomer This Information With Benrey's Permission Eventually Though. After The Events Of Act 3 Part 1, He Makes It Clear That He Feels Betrayed.

Tommy Is Pretty Much A Normal Guy, With The Exception Of His Gman Like Powers. He Likes To Keep It Fun In The Group And Reflects This In His Attire By Wearing A Hawaiian Shirt Under His Lab Coat. When Benrey Uses His Black Mesa Sweet Voice, Tommy Is The Only One That Can Translate It, So He Does For The Rest Of The Group. He Encourages Benrey On Progressing And Tries To Be Chummy With Everyone In The Group. Gordon Only Trusts Tommy And Tommy Doesn't Show Doubt In Any Plans The Group Has. Tommy Doesn't Know That Benrey Is An Alien Straight Away But The Dots Eventually Click Together In Tommy's Mind, Tommy Never Says Anything About It Though.

Coomer Is Very Ill Mannered Compared The Group, The Tests That He Experiences At Black Mesa That Made Him Essentially A Cyborg Made Him Very Pessimistic Towards A Lot Of Things. He Does Show Joy Towards And About Things, Like When He Recalls About Divorcing His DREADED Ex Wife. He Seems To Be On Edge Most Of The Time, Informing Benrey How Much Longer It Is Until They Get To The Surface And Lambda Lab. He Gets Along Really Well With Gordon, Benrey Doesn't Like To Assume Things So When They Begin Whispering Things To Each Other He Stays Out Of It. It's Revealed That Coomer Revealed That Benrey Is An Alien To Gordon, Which He Shows Some Regret For After Gordon's Plans Drastically Affect Benrey Wellbeing.

Ranboo Intros the stream by saying these lines,

Then proceeds to show late, Aimsey joining first, with a tag along,Guqqie who we later on learn is Xirs s/o. Keep in mind along with bringing someone, they both also wear the wrong style.

Next joins Jack, aka the grandfather, immediately after being seated, he drinks an entire bottle of Wine straight.

(Both Jack, Aimsey and xirs accomplice Quqqie have seemed to hit something on the way)

After that, Freddie joins,with another unexpected guest, Billzo,But this time Freddie seems to have been in correct and formal attire, Billzo, is the complete opposite. Freddie keeps on talking about their trip to the Maldives Along with Bill, but they also seem like they are hiding something.

Then  Eryn joins, as he enters, he has a very loose stance, and brings his own drink, for only himself, He is dressed very casually.

They Carry on at dinner as normal, they were talking

When Tommy just kind of walks in.He calls himself BugBoy and is wearing a very poorly made SpiderMan outfit, he acts very out of place.

The food was not there. The Dinner lasted 100 hours.

This is what I THINK this means, Ran was taken over by an ancient entity, and is being told to murder their family because in theory their family dinner is scarier than the entity, so in turn, the entity wants to destroy (Unalive) everything Ran finds more scary.

The food was a knife to the throat, yk not the best, but it is what it is.

Idea: test tube Tommy is one of the many experiments in a lab. Something happens and the lab is destroyed, and everyone evacuates. But they don't take all of the experiments with them, so Tommy is left behind, alone in his test tube. That is, until someone stumbles upon the destroyed lab...

They were trying to clone Dream (fuck everyone- I like the theory of Dream clone Tommy more then Phil clone Tommy-) but with the limited amount of DNA they had, and the very small amount of stem cells (you clone things using stem cells from the original organism- I know science) they had gotten from Dream from a hunter that cut him- they weren't able to make a proper big enough clone that would age fast enough to be able to properly catch Dream. So, for now they just kept the child in a test tube, it was good enough to keep it alive for testing, and it was easy to feed it like this as well.

One day though, the lab catches on fire, no one is quite sure why (Sapnap) but they all run, making sure to collect their data on flash drives as they escape- leaving behind anything alive to die. Luckily, Tommy's test tube had a filter on the top that made sure no smoke got inside (the filter was so in case any chemical fumes got near him, he wouldn't breath it in and they wouldn't loose they're best test subject) and he survived

After the fire is gone and the people are out, Dream and Sapnap go inside to see what this lab was really up to (after hearing word that they'd been trying to catch and kill Dream). They explored for a bit, reading over the few papers that didn't burn ("I told you fire was overkill-"), until they finally came to a room that was filled with the scent of burned flesh and fur- and when they went inside they could see why. There were loads of live specimen in the room that had been abandoned to burn in the fire, and all of them were dead. It was the most disturbing thing in the fire and they were ready to just leave but-

But then they heard crying. Dream was the first to walk into the room and follow the sound, and Sapnap hesitantly followed after. It took them awhile to see what the sound was coming from because they were not expecting a tiny kid inside a test tube. The child looked starving, pale, and very malnourished, it was obvious they weren't healthy. Both Dream and Sapnap decided then and there they hated these scientists, and grabbed the test tube.

They left the building and got the kid out, they were gonna let the little guy go but- he clung to one of Dream's fingers and he couldn't bring himself to pull the kid off. So for now, the child would just stay with Sapnap and Dream

I’ve joked about an hlvrai inanimate insanity au a few times before but today I finally had some free time and drew a few character-related ideas I had.

- Both OJ and Paintbrush play the role of the straight man so well and I think they would both make hilarious stand-ins for Gordon. I couldn’t choose one so I just drew both.

- Test Tube and Dr. Coomer are both very sweet despite their frighteningly powerful intellect, so I feel that TT would fill Dr. Coomer’s role well. I also just really like the idea of TT having Black Mesa Power Legs and hundreds of clones. If any ii character were to have hundreds of clones and haunt someone’s dreams it would be TT.

-The connection between MePhone4 and Bubby is admittedly the weakest. Both are assholes (affectionate) created in a shady research facility who absolutely hate being contained and controlled by their creators. I also considered having MePhone fill Benry’s role (because MePhone and Benry are both overpowered, inhuman little freaks) but Blueberry Benry was just too funny of a concept to pass up.

- Lightbulb Tommy. I feel like this one speaks for itself.

- I don’t have any doodles of this but I thought Ballpoint Pen would make a good G-Man. I like the idea of BP having a soft spot for the fan favorite, Lightbulb, and going out of his way to look out for her. Also consider MePhone 4S Forzen.

There was once this Astronomy & Space Science lab that was studying a fallen meteorite. To their surprise, they’d found it had a very small multicelled organism on it, and they decided to study it. 

They grew it in a petri dish until it outgrew it, then progressively upgraded to test tube, and larger tubes, until it took some vaguely humanoid form, something vaguely childlike. A meteorite from the Alpha Centauri star system, something that traveled over 4 lightyears, nearly 150,000 years hurdling in space. It took warmth to awaken the organism from it’s dormant state. It took care for it to grow. 

The scientists, Sam & Puffy, were kind and named the child Tommy as well as taught him things like how to walk and speak and love. Human things.

Something terrible happened to the lab. A shut down, the scientists had grown too attached to their alien project. 

Sam tucked Tommy’s antennae into his hair and gave him a hug, Puffy teary eyed also hugged him, telling him that he needs to hide, they’ll let him escape. She tells him not all humans are this way. 

On que he was hidden away in a back room with an open window, and despite the sounds outside the door, he climbed out and ran. 

For days he stumbled about until he found a kid playing music on a small guitar in a grassy park. 

Wilbur was a kid, recently adopted out of the foster system by a man named Phil. Wilbur struggles a lot on his own with mental health, as well as the whole ‘gifted kid syndrome’ issues. He feels like he’s constantly told he’s special and grown up despite his age, and his struggles are often ignored for his talent. 

Upon meeting, Tommy clung to him like a magnet and eventually followed him home. 

Try as he may, Phil couldn’t bring Tommy back to foster care or any local places, as Tommy would walk right back to their doorstep. He quickly became part of their family.

Some time later, a news article came out about a lab which supposedly burnt down, and those inside tragically died. Tommy saw this and was saddened by the news, pointing at two of the scientists and saying, “I knew them.” Then came a conversation on how some people will hurt others for personal gain. Tommy doesn’t understand too well, but he’s happy he’s found family again. 

Wilbur learns of Tommy’s origins and powers not too long after he’s adopted, he was always weird and making comments about the stars and space, but it makes sense once it’s explained. Wilbur has plenty of conflict over Tommy being so ‘special’ and ‘unique’, but he can never bring himself to hate the kid. 

FYI: Wilbur is about 14, Tommy is about 6

Here’s some details about Tommy:

Gravity doesn’t affect him like normal. He can jump as if he’s in an antigravity zone and gently float down. His hair will also at times just float about as if there’s no gravity. 

Tommy can hear and speak with celestial objects like stars, even from standing on Earth. He can also speak with remnants of stars, such as the tiny grains of stardust found in soil and most living things. Those are quieter whispers, but he still talks with them. When he does, his antennae glow.

He can bite through rocks like candy. He can also create enough pressure between his hands that he can crush organic material and things like dirt and turn them into rocks. 

Primarily seen in the dark, if he moves around or is excited enough, he’ll softly glow. 

He is the epitome of a ‘weird kid’ and it sometimes will creep Wilbur and Phil out with the things he says. 

Tommy has his own clothes, but he frequently will steal Wilbur’s sweaters. Wilbur has given up trying to get them back. 

He’s immune to really cold and really hot temperatures, but the cold makes him sleepy and heat makes him energetic. 

Here’s some fun Crime Boys Scenarios:

Wilbur is playing music in his room and being generally mopey. Tommy climbs onto his bed and says, “I can see why the earth loves you.” Wilbur scoffs, “The earth doesn’t love me. It’s a rock.” Tommy furrows his eyebrows, and jumps beside him, “The earth loves people, and it loves you.” Wilbur goes quiet, giving a hum in acknowledgment before he starts to play again, Tommy listening along. 

Phil took both Wilbur and Tommy to the store with him. Wilbur takes Tommy with him to go get himself a new jacket, but Tommy is distracted by a pair of shoes on the rack that are bright red and shiny. He pokes them, and they start flashing and blinking and he’s in awe. He quickly jumps to pull the shoes off the rack and runs over to Wilbur to show him. Wilbur sees how Tommy’s eyes literally sparkle, and he helps pay to get him the light up sneakers. Tommy puts them on as soon as he can and has the time of his life stomping and making his shoes light up. 

Walking together through a park, Wilbur plans on just taking Tommy to the playground, but then Tommy stops. He looks at the ground, then up at the sky, the antennae tucked into his hair give a soft glow and he hums, “Something fell here,” before crouching down and patting the dirt, “Have a nice nap.” Wilbur looks at him very very confused before Tommy starts to babble about how there’s some sort of space rock deep under the ground. 

Wilbur is in his room, having just cried for awhile. It’s dark and he’s alone. Tommy comes in and asks if he’s okay, and Wilbur tells him to go away. Tommy doesn’t though and climbs onto his bed, his star antennae twitch and his eyes sparkle with all the stars in the universe as he tears up because he doesn’t like when Wilbur cries and he pads over and places his hands in Wilbur’s hair before patting his cheeks with a frustrated huff, “The stars say you’ll be okay.” And Wilbur rolls his eyes and says he doesn’t care- asks why Tommy would care. And Tommy gets all angry and huffy and gently pats Wilbur’s cheek, “Because we’re brothers. You’re made of stars too. They’re just teeny tiny.” And he hugs Wilbur, and Wilbur pulls him close and hugs him in return, softly crying into Tommy’s hair.

So Olli's the son of a conventional, proper Christian family, and all through his life he's lived according to the Christian values because that's all he's ever known, alright? And idk, for maximum contrast he might have gone to some Christian school when he was younger?

However, in high school he meets a bunch of fascinating personalities 👀

Well, Joonas is actually a childhood friend and a next-door-neighbour. Olli's parents never approved of the Porkos' bohemian lifestyle and are not pleased about Olli hanging out with Joonas, but the Porkos are just so darn nice that it's impossible to hate them (for instance, they invite the Matelas for barbecues, Joonas' father often helps them plow the snow off their yard with his truck, and it is on rare occasions that Olli leaves for home empty-handed, for Joonas' mother is always baking and she's apparently quite bad at estimating how many apple pies her family can eat). Olli has always loved spending time at Joonas' house because there he's gets to do and see stuff that has never been allowed at his own home, such as certain kinds of music and movies. Video games have always been frowned upon by Olli's parents as well, which is why Olli savours the rare moments he gets to stay at Joonas' a little later to play [insert some cool video game] while his parents are at a gathering at their friends'

Joel is the stereotypical Bad Boy™ because of course he is, and Olli knows his parents would hate it if they knew their son associated with someone like Joel, but he's Olli's lab partner and they often hang out during recess after the chemistry class. Sometimes Joel even sneaks them out in the middle of the class by volunteering to fetch some more test tubes or flasks from the storage room down the hall as a pretext for going for a smoke in the boys' room (Olli thinks smoking is a bit icky, but he must admit Joel looks sorta cool doing it, leaning against the window frame, and despite their differences he really likes chatting with Joel. Sometimes Joel hums a simple tune, and Olli can't help but wonder how good a singer he actually is)

Niko is the guy in Olli's religion class who's always challenging everything the teacher tells them, often to the point the teacher threatens to throw him out of the classroom if he opens his mouth one more time. Olli doesn't necessarily agree with all of Niko's arguments, but he finds his world view endlessly fascinating and is always listening to his reasoning attentively. This, of course, does not go unnoticed by Niko, who sometimes ends his speeches by winking at Olli, which always makes him blush a little (=a lot) 😳 (Olli would love to hear more about Niko's opinions, but he's too shy to approach him outside the class or at the marching band practice where they both play the violin)

(side note: Finnish high schools don't really have marching bands but humour me a little here ok)

Aleksi is a fellow Good Christian Boy™ who runs the kids' Bible group at their church with Olli and sings in the church choir with him as well...buuuuuuut he also sells weed and gives blowjobs during recess 🤷‍♂️ (don't ask Olli how he knows this, he doesn't like to talk about it, and anyway it's none of Olli's business). Aleksi's parents haven't got a clue about the double life their son is leading, although they had their suspicions when Aleksi one day came home with his hair dyed black (he got away with it by a carefully practiced speech about how the black colour symbolises the passion of the Christ and helps him connect with J-man even better)

Tommi, for some reason, sits next to Olli in most of the classes they share and they're often assigned as partners for projects. Tommi is an atheist and doesn't make a fuss about it, but he's always prepared for a debate with Olli's father whenever he is over at Olli's house to work on a course assignment. Olli is always a little embarrassed, because when his father gets going, it's almost impossible to shut him up, but when Olli finally manages to rescue Tommi and drag him to his room to apologize on his father's behalf, Tommi merely shrugs and says they had an excellent conversation.

So, what's the plot of this story? Who's the main love interest? Are these all separate stories? Or perhaps Olli falls a little bit in love with all of them? Who knows, not I! 😂

Goodbye To A World(c!Tommy)

Day 1: Waking up in a test tube next to someone shouldn't be the first thing I have seen. Breaking out I heard the groans. Looking in the Hallway it wasn't anything. In the door, it was a zombie. The man held onto my hand as we found a ladder to climb up. "Zombie apocalypse" I glanced over to him as he held out his hand, "Charlie and you," I shook his hand, "Y/n."

Day 10: Hunting and Exploring till it was night. We were trapped on top of a tree trying to find a way out but nothing. Till we heard a truck alongside gators following it. The man told us to hop in and in the second we did. Zechariah Budlight Daytona Ford F-150 jr. jr. but it was best we called him Flordia Man. He showed us how to live. Well, mostly charlie. I found them both unarmed and bruised. He showed us how to use a Makeshift Grappling hook. It was hard at first to use but we got it in under a day. Then one day, they both decided to use Nunchaku. Both decided to hit each other with it while I fed bessy. Flordia Man ended up leaving on Day 17 to see if anyone in Florida or his family was alive. " If you ever need me just light a joint on fire."

Day 25: Tommy. It's best we don't talk about him for now at least.

Day 37: We both ended up staying out a little too late and started to rush home until someone called our names. We noticed a goat man. He told us to run inside this shop he had. While he was shooting the zombies. He knew our names without us telling him. He gave me a gun. His shop was like a drug store. He gave us both something for Charlie; it was making him crazy. For me, it was a grenade. The next day we went back to the spot and his spot disappeared. We both could've sworn we saw him but nothing was there. Maybe we were just dreaming.

Day 47: Decided to go explore. We were both stacked and felt kinda confident. So we did. We found a camper there. Instantly went in. Well, it was that or die by explosive dragonflies. We entered as the stairs went down. It looked like a lot from where we woke up. Blue stripes with white walls. They're a farm with wheat. That rat got them. We split up till I noticed a book on a wall. It was glowing purple. I took it off the wall as I opened it. Noticing a name. 'Tommy'. Calling Charlie back we both read his stories of him and That it was working. I didn't know what. For us, Tommy was more of a problem now. Till we heard voices in the halls, Seeing a lab coat with armor. Jonathon was his name. I stood in front of charlie. As we both walk backward. To an exit. But told us to stop. We both started to talk walking to a place with a machine. We started to walk to find the missing piece as I gave it to him. It was Sundown. He pressed a button. We heard it turn on. He tried to persuade us to leave for a new world. We both tried to say no. Till we started to hear beeping from the machine. Charlie dragged me out Jonathon was behind us. Running to the front door was destroyed as we saw the Zombies come in. Attacking us. We all fell under the building. Jon was calling out names Zombies were all around him. Before we can do something or get close he was killed. So we both ran. Jonathon was dead. One friend is gone.

Day 51: The same night as his death. We ran back into the city. There were lights. The shop. We turn to another way. It was right in front of us. He called our name once again. Saying 'The storm is coming." He gave us guns telling us to leave.

Day 59: Charlie decides to make a TV show. I repaired some of the base and feeding, Bessie. He called me as he turned it on. Noticing one channel. A man saying this on a show. He's been there for 263 days. He needed to get out 200 days ago. He was on 32 street. His name was Wimpfred. Weird name but It was a nice name at the same time. He is single. I noticed the street telling him it was on the interception. So we left with extra supplies. We killed some zombies on the way. Charlie used a pickaxe to break the floor when we found him. Wimpfred was confused and asked if I was the Hot babe he was waiting for. I laugh a little. After some convincing, he agreed to come with us saying this is all for the show. Little did he know. We walked till it was nighttime so we had to defend ourselves. While Wimpfred thought it was all for show.

Day 60: Wimpfred pointed a red beam Charlie was against it but I thought it was a good idea. So we walked to the top of the building. Approaching we all saw an arena. Wimpfred noticed an old friend whose name was Wilfred. A lot of Wil's names if you asked me. We made our way to the arena where Wilfred opened the doors. For us. We exchanged names as we noticed the heads behind Wilfred. Wilfred's clothes were off in a matter of seconds. Charlie covered my eyes. Wilfred went to the door putting lava in front of it. No way out. Great. Now they were dueling over a girl that was probably dead. In a matter of seconds, they duel but it stopped when Wilfred brought out a rocket launcher. Pointing it at Wimpfred. While Wimpfred had a gun. Then after talking about no guns, A fistfight started it was close and then Wilfred started to run around the light. Wilfred grab the rocket launcher face it down and Blew himself up with Wimpfred. The smoke was clearing as Wimpfred couldn't feel his legs. I felt bad but I told Wimpfred this wasn't a tv show it was real life. He was heartbroken. The sun was going down as he tried to stand I went up close to hold him up as he reveal the rocket. Thanking us both. He was facing it down and we were confused. Charlie brought me back to his side. Wimpfred looked down and launch the rocket launcher at himself. Wimpfred and Wilfred died by blowing themself up. Another two dead.

Day 70: We heard a truck with music coming toward our place on the highway. Running to the back we heard it. A truck just like a Florida man but this wasn't Florida man. He wants on a ramp and landing inside our house. This man was a nutcase and I have known a few. Saying Everything is fake and the government hoax. Charlie and looked at each other confused. Calling the Zombies 'Actors" hired by the government. Saying He needs to go to the government house and find papers saying it's fake. His name was Ronald Boob. but the last b is silent. We went inside his truck and tried to find the building.

Day 72 and 73: He was rather interesting. We thought we found the building on 72 bit. It wasn't on that night it was a Blood moon. A blood moon really. Surrounding the truck it was zombies as Ronald drove into the water. We got out just in time. Gave me an extra boat Ronald had and he gave Charlie a tree boat. On day number 73, we continued our travels to find this building. Getting out of the boat the first building we saw was the government building. Ronald found the book he was looking for about the government explaining everything. I and Charlie still didn't believe him so we asked for it. Ronald gave us the book and yup. He was right about everything. He was planning on leaving. Ronald gave us a truck. 'If you ever need me just yell and I will come" Ronald left back to his cabin.

Day 86: Where do I even start with this guy? He was all over the place saying he was a wizard. A Fuckin Wizard. We gave him a nod. He talks a little too much. Saying Charlie and I are the Protagonist. He told us he can use his magic. So he gave us 'quests'. The first one was 'Milk of Destiny.' Milk the Cow of Destiny for the Wizard. The second was 'Power of Fire.'Acquire a flint and steel. He set himself on fire. He tells us to look down. HE had boots. The third was 'Thin the Flock,' Kill 100 chickens. The problem is there were no chickens. We came across a turkey. He told us to kill it. He started to feel it again. Suddenly pants appeared.

Day 88: The last one was 'PeePee", to pee on his wand. That's when I gave up on him. Charlie told him off. The Wizard started to cry. We both felt a little bad. Till a cloak appeared on him TElling us that was the final step, 'Crush the Wizards Hopes and Dreams.' NIghtfall came with the powers he had been working with.

Day 90: we told him to leave and without us knowing he moved in with us.

Day 95 Mine and Charlie's first mission to survive 100 days of this Apocalypse is close. So close just 5 more days. We have met so many people here. One friend named Tommy. He is 17. Could talk to the Zombies. At the time, We didn't think that much about it. We brought him in and gave him shelter clothes but he would only eat the rotten flush he had. Never bread, Meat, or Fish. Just Flush. One night after exploring he turned against us. Talked to the zombie. Took off his armor and dropped his sword. His personality changed. Telling the zombie to kill us. Charlie tried to convince him that we were zombies but it was no use. Tommy knew he lied. The zombies were getting higher. Something in Tommy changes to the scared little boy. He regrets what he felt. Told us to keep him in a stone and iron bars. So we did just days after he escaped his prison. Without us even realizing it.

I was helping Charlie with rebuilding his side of the tower. Till I notice a blonde boy in front of our gates. "Y/n. Charlie." Charlie turned and pulled out the Long Sword. "Tommy?" Charlie went close to the gate where Tommy was. He laughs. "That little thing doesn't hurt me charlie." He was getting close. "Here take this." He takes out the flesh he had. Start to give it to us. Charligrabbedab my hand and pulled me away from the opening between us and Tommy. "Stop Tommy. How much do you even get?" I stood next to Charlie Tommy and tried to throw some more. "Look at me. This world, this putrid world is full of beautiful creatures. Far and wide. Listen, it doesn't have a place for a boy like you."

They do not talk to me. I just noticed how Tommy changed more from the last time they saw them. Before his red and white shirt wasn't as dirty or had as many holes. I sew up the holes from last time. I remember that night, he was scared but not as scared. Sounds weird but it was true. But Now those holes on his shirt have changed. They were everywhere revealing how his body was. Changing slowly to a zombie in some parts. His khakis pants half were torn up to his knees. Noticing his skin turn green. Then to his face. The face before was different. Before I could see the wrinkles of him pulling off his skin. He would try to hide it but I would notice it and try to cover it. Now. The wrinkles that were there were gone. Seeing some bones on his chin and the flesh around it. IT pains me like that.

"You have 5 days. Get Ready you aren't gonna live till 100." He looked over at me. "You both won't make it to 100." With that, he walks away. I was going to call him but it was too late. He vanished from my view. "Come on y/n we have to get prepared." With a sigh, we started fixing the place we stayed on the highway.

Days 97, 98 It was the same as finding lava, making traps, and killing the zombie that made it or near us.

Day 99 Charlie wanted to make a base underground if anything turns bad. So that's what we did. Making a staircase down. We mined the stone until we saw torches in front of the stairs. I was down first to see him. The Goat Man. "Well Hello again, Charlie and Y/n." There he stood behind the counter with apples. No drugs. No needles. No guns. Just apples. "How did you come down here," I asked as he laughed. "Fancy seeing you here'' Charlie was furious. "This is our panic room what do you mean" "Don't you fuckin get it?" Charlie and glanced at each other. "DOn't you fucking get it. Has it not gotten in your thick skull yet?" "What do you mean?" He looked at me. "You know what's gonna happen," I turned my head to the side, "And it will be the same outcome as before and before. But I got you bothe a gift. An offering." He grabs two bright red apples. "Take The Apple." Putting them both in front of us. "What?" Charlie questions "Take The Apple" His voice changes; it is darker as it echoes in the room. We shook our heads. "Take the apple, don't you get it? The apple is a way out of here. Out of the universe. All you have to do is take it." He started to get closer to us. Then talked gibberish to us. I grab my diamond ax going back with charlie. The man continued but stopped. "Hey, you have a lighter?" Charlie looked IN his bag as he pulled it out. Noticing the joint. "The joint" "Y/n we still have time" The goat man looked confused as I ran back up and charlie put fires all around his shop. "Y/n this was your only way to stop this loop" Charlie pulled out his long sword. "That is a longsword." We laugh making it to the top looking for hay and green wool with the speakers. "DO we really have to use the speaker for the scream?" Stacking up to make the joint as Charlie nods. We lit the joint and made the scream to call our friend. The sun was setting as the last couple stacks of hay were burned down as we waited. The noise from Charlie stopped. "They didn't show" That was our only hope and it was gone. Charlie went to his room and recorded something as I stayed near the barriers. Seeing the Zombies come in groups. Tommy appeared, 'Hello y/n are you ready for the war?' I raise my head high as I nod. "Of course Tom You don't scare me nor your zombies. They don't have a strategy or anything" Tom laughed as he came up to me. "You still have hope that it will die down after that." "Tommy came one where the other was the one that tried to change to feel more human." Tommy laughed, "Tom died a long time ago when I broke out of that jail." Charlie appeared behind me. He tried to reason with Tommy but it was no use. the zombies were already approaching finding their way into the base. Killing the once we can. I got a scar from my arm as I tried to keep it from bleeding till we heard the horns. "They are here Charlie.". We were extracted as they brought out a gun shutting everything as Tommy just looked. Charlie told Tommy about our friend. Tommy laughed "I have magic too charlie here's mine. " He called for the blood moon. The Zombie came from the walls. In seconds the zombies were all dead. Highfive were all around. "That was a very weak Zombie army." Florida man laughed."That was all I had." Tommy lowered his face. He cried. "Why is he crying?" I went over to Tommy. The cry was just only a distraction as I turned to see The rippers, going to the rest as Tommy started to walk away as i followed. Giants ripper appeared.

Day 100

Charlie and friends stayed at the based. The rest stayed back as I held a sword close to me. I looked back once more seeing the friends I have made. Heard his cry. "Give up Tommy you and I both know they're is only one way to end this." I tried to make a scar on him but nothing happened. So I did it again. Nothing. Maybe fire will work but nothing happened. He was undefeated. Nothing could hurt him. Tommy laugh, "oh come on y/n," he pulled out the long sword, "if my zombies couldn't hurt you maybe I can." He started to run up to me to cut my arm. I ran. Hearing his stomps behind me. "Come here y/n." Using the grappling hook I felt the air pass by me as I trailed away going back to the room. Lab room. I tried to gather material to make one final thing. Hearing Tommy on the other side. "Come here." I put the lever next to the machine. Tommy walked into the room. He noticed where we were and he was scared. "If this goes right you shouldn't feel a thing." Behind Tommy was Charlie, "Goodbye Charlie." I pulled the lever. Hearing our screams.

Day 101 We made it to another world. The floor was lava and we were on a cliff. I started to look around. Some buildings were on fire or were supported by the cliffs that could give out. Tommy started to find out he wasn't undefeatable. This was where the virus came from. "Try to hurt me," Tommy spoke. I walked up to him using the sword to make a mark on his cheek. He started to bleed. Falls to the ground on the cliff looking down at the lava. Taking off my armor looking in the distance to see the Zombies. "Y/n I don't wanna die." He faces the lava as I pat his back. "Everyone dies Tommy. Even if we don't want to." I started to hear the groans. I cried. This is how the other will survive. "Thank you y/n, I wouldn't want anyone else to die with." Tommy was like a brother I never had. I would've protected him but this virus in him had to die. He slowly stood up as I hugged him. The groans were 30 feet away. We both saw them. "Hey Tommy," I let go of him as I grab his hand, "Maybe in another lifetime we are siblings and none of this would've happened." He nods. The groans were 20 feet away. Looking over the lava we took a deep breath. He nods, "I'm another lifetime y/n." The groans are less than 10 feet away. "On three." Tommy nods. 8 feet away. "One" 5 feet away. "Two" 3 feet away. "Three." Before they could touch us we jumped into the lava. The noise was quiet around the world they were in. No cries. No pain. No life. Only weapons and armor.

Vault 81 - Tommy and Wilbur’s birthplace - the actual purpose of this vault was to experiment with disease in an effort to create a miracle all-cure medicine. Dwellers of this vault would be purposefully and without their knowledge exposed to dangerous pathogens and then tested on to see how the disease progressed and how it could be cured. This is important for why Wilbur left so suddenly, and how Tommy’s parents died

Vault 75 - Techno’s parents’ birthplace - the actual purpose of this vault was to create super-soldiers through genetic enhancements. Only teens were allowed to enter, were relentlessly biologically engineered and trained, and then when they turned eighteen they were ‘harvested’ and their genetic material used to fertilize test tube babies. Rinse and repeat the process for a bunch of ‘generations’ before circumstances led to the vault being opened and the dwellers escaping. Techno (born years later on the surface) is the child of two of these dwellers, making him quite literally ‘built different’

like the Black Mesa Test Tube Scientists just grow super rapidly and then live their whole ass lives as old men. dr coomers Era of tube boys took a lil bit for their brains to finish growing normally at which point they were promptly filled with a shit load of data (including a Lot if not All Wikipedia articles) whereas Bubbys Era basically just rapidly grow fully formed and when they become conscious they already know like way more than most humans will in a lifetime

benry was an alien who just. Moved to earth. like some people move to like england or something and just started working for black mesa because they were the only people who would hire him (they hired him because dude holy shit an alien holy fuck. his technical job is "alien test subject/experiment" but like he applied as a security guard and they found out the hard way that the best way to contain him was just to let him do his "job"

tommy was adopted by gman who owns black mesa and is Really Not Human (completely undetermined if was a human at one point or nah) and was already a Weird Child whose oddness was simply Enhanced by his life being raised by some manner of demonic godlike alien man who just read him highly complex textbooks and OSHA codes and whatnot as bedtime stories
