Hii just saw the regenerating human on the DJD thingy and I was wondering what each of them thought of reader individually 👀

Decepticon Justice Division [MTMTE]

In which the DJD finds a human far, far away from their planet, that they just cannot seem to kill.

Reader is: Gender Neutral | Human | Unaligned. Platonic.

Warning: Hurtful comments/thoughts | Reader 'death'

Helex thinks you're cool, freaky, but cool

What someone is doesn't really bother him; organic or not, if you can't be killed, then he may as well enjoy your properties

You're not worth even trying to kill, not his usual way, because human fluids get really caked on, and he doesn't want to clean up stuck-on flesh

Kaon will never get over how infuriating it is that you can just...live through his strongest shocks

They don't even incapacitate you for that long; a week, and you'll be up and at it again

Instead, he's focusing on what he can do to make your life a living hell: restraints, isolation, treating you like shit

Oh well, he'll get over it eventually

Nickel hates organics a lot, so she doesn't mind watching your torture even if it does little to you mentally

But, eventually, enough is enough for her

If it's really not doing anything, and they won't get rid of you, she will put up with you

She is interested in monitoring your mental state and determining whether it can revert to its initial emotional state

Tarn just doesn't have time for these sorts of things

His voice can't control non-mechanical forms, so it's not as if he can do anything but shoot you or get creative

He's fine with keeping you around for research purposes, and of anyone, he's the least concerned with your existence so long as you don't get in the way of anything

Once his team gets bored, like they always do, he'll throw you away again

Tesarus is bothered, only because you're easy to step on, and it's extremely difficult for him to clean all the nooks and crannies of his peds

You're not that interesting, you're easy to kill and shred and take forever to put yourself back together

If you want to hang around him, fine, he'll talk if you ask the right questions, too

Vos finds you most intriguing, though that is of his scientific nature to want to study

You're also not as small compared to him, so he can really get a good look at how your flesh pulls itself back together after being torn and ripped

It's fascinating, and you've become a frequenter of his lab so he can forcefully collect samples and try to recreate the technology with Cybertronian metals

LET'S TALK ABOUT TESARUS FROM MTMTE.

Okay. So, we have a dude who easily gets bored after getting rid of deserter/s. I think it's possible for him to have REALLY many hobbies through his whole life as a Decepticon. Sometimes just chatting or praying to Megatron is also boring, even though he still likes it.

JUST IMAGINE Tess drawing or doing smth like gemology!!! Yeah, it's still centered on Decepticon cause, DJD, Megatron... But it still keeps him entertained for some time. Plus, he got a good memory (or at least that's what TF WIKI said), which means he may've gotten good with a few things in shorter periods of time!

Tesarus could make small Decepticon insignias from deserters remainings and give them as a gift to DJD members, since he actually cares about his comrades! And maybe, since he could have some good skills with handling much smaller things, than himself, he could make insignias that was, let's say, the accurate size, so smaller member like Kaon, Vos and Nickel could still hold them easily (tho it'd take quite a time to make those...)

At least Tarn's a tank and can help feeding the little ones when the nurse sleeps or works.

Unfortunately no. In the donor clause au, Tarn's a Seekerkin mech. Any kind of personal refineries or shared fueling systems will be incompatible with any frame he has.

Nickel had beat that into his head before the impulse to get a botch job from a catalog took root. Tarn simply gets a thing for your own wells and becomes a walking encyclopedia on various personal refineries and fueling systems.

Unless it's bottle feeding, then yes. Luckily, the nurse has fantastic production. There's a nice surplus in the medbay and Tarn's quarters. He gets the bottle for the newsparks can suckle. Thankfully, Seekerkin sparklings develop a fueling rhythm within the clutch, so only one or two (particular to the split-sparks) need to be fed at a time and around the clock.

Seekerkin femmes have unique refineries of pure protoform. The D.J.D. got a good look at yours and are highly curious because it's not the silicone bags that needs to be emptied out before packed away like they're used to.

Helex and Tesarus were in a room with their own out and went, "Oh yeah, those are different. Let's ask Nickel."

Nickel understands what they're asking about. It's the same quirk that's that was an issue in Prion among their own brand of Seekerkin. Because on Prion, everyone had multiple alt-modes. It came with its own challenges to get their frames and coding in smooth order. Depending on the mecha's spark, some alt-mode unique characteristics need to be suppressed or taken out to work with others.

Because Nickel enjoys her submarine alt-mode, she doesn't have personal refineries. She has an external fueling system that's similar to a convoy where the access points are hidden along her torso and the cables can be pulled to a certain distance where it's tapped into her internal hold.

hc + 🤝: Choosing Ghostspire since you asked. Tarn's connection with Ghost is interesting. They have something of a "situationship", as much as Ghost irks him and tries to earn his ire, Tarn doesn't see the value in killing him. He's similar to Overlord in that regard. He knows that Ghost tries to piss him off because he has a lack of self preservation. Killing him would only give Ghost what he wants, and Tarn would lose a source of entertainment.

hc + 🧼: Tarn has fantastic hygiene! Because his ability doesn't require him to get his hands dirty, he very rarely has energon on him. Though he did make the mistake of standing slightly behind Tesarus during one of their hunts. He got out of earshot of his team just in time to purge his tanks before returning to the ship and scrubbing his frame until he needed a new wax coating.

He normally smells of vetiver scented finish, with a hint of cedar wood muskiness.

hc + 🚬: Recently, Tarn managed to kick his little transformation habit. Only because he no longer has a supply of them. The withdrawl period was agonizing. He picked up a drinking habit to cope but he's been getting better about that, finding the need to drink replaced with drinking for pleasure once again.

Tesarus or Vos is the first to see your ghost.

Tes gets bored and wanders the ship just looking for something to put his energy into. Usually he gives up and takes a nap

Depending on whether you wanna scare him or make him feel guilty doesn’t matter. He’s freaked the fuck out

The rest of the DJD come running when Tes lets out a high pitched screech

They don’t see anything and they (mostly Helex) relentlessly make fun of Tes

for 1. that fucking scream because what in the pit and 2. he’s scared of a human. a human ghost that doesn’t exist

You go around and pick them out one by one to scare them.

Kaon is especially freaked out. He’s blind and relies on echolocation (i love that this is cannon) when he doesn’t have the pet, and the fact that he can tell where you are scares him.

He can’t see you, can’t touch you, can’t hear you walk or breathe, and he can’t find where you are with echolocation.

The only way he knows you’re there is if the pet goes crazy or you make yourself known

Tarn is either freaking the fuck out or he tries to talk to you while internally freaking out.

Nickel is the one who actually tries to talk to you. Only because she thinks it’s annoying that harmless little you is completely disabling the most feared division in the universe.

When they finally all group up to discuss what’s happening, they all kind of agree they thought humans didn’t have souls.

They think of humans how a human would think of a bug; step on it and move on. Just more intelligent (though not much)

They just hate you, and they let it be known. Tarn is the one that realises you hold the power; being immortal and unharmable and all

—He at least tries to be civil. It’s extremely awkward, because his team was laughing while they killed you brutally and now he’s being all polite.—

Vos is the only one that kind of enjoys this. He doesn’t wanna talk about the noise he made when he saw you in the vents for the first time, but he appreciates a fellow scare artist.

It’s kind of an unspoken truce between the two of you (eventually)

And between you and Tarn. He has no idea what you can truly do and doesn’t want to find out, so he makes it a point to try and stay on your good side.

That doesn’t mean he’s not a little off put, he just not an asshole about it like Helex is.

Helex’s mouth is a trash dump when you’re near him. Every organic slur in the book is thrown at you, whether you know what it means or not.

Tes can’t look you in the eye. Or at you in general. He’s embarrassed by that scream and he can’t stand how awkward it is to have a former victim standing in front of him

hc: tfa djd are a musical band (their manager is nickel.) highly acclaimed among the decepticons, they consider themselves the rival musical artists of Rosanna. (also if soundwave ever met them they would offer him a place in the band but soundwave turns them down.)

The DJD are still soldiers mind you but just because they occasionally maim and murder doesn’t mean they can’t appreciate the arts. Besides, music serves as amazing propaganda.

The names of their songs are all things like “For the Glory of the Decepticon Cause”, “Towards Peace (and Bloody Battle)” and “Fusion Cannon Funk”. Their most famous hit is a 7 minute ballad called “When Megatron Calls”.

Listening to their music on Cybertron is considered a crime and punishable by jail time but illegal streaming sites keep uploading all their newest albums so it’s hard to keep bots from listening to them.

Tarn is of course the vocalist, Kaon shreds the electric guitar, Vos plays the synth, Helex is on the base and Tesarus is the drummer. The Pet (while not an official band member) serves as the band mascot. Nickel is their reluctant manager while still serving as their medic.

Vos

💜 He's surprisingly clingy in his sleep as well, so he likes that the two of you can wake up entwined with each other.

💜 He does actually think it's rather cute how you grip him as tight as you can, you're so tiny and light compared even to him.

💜 He likes to lay there and rest his chin on the top of your head.

💜 He's one that likes to tease you about it, even though he clings just as much as you do in his sleep.

Kaon

♥️ He adores it! He loves waking up to you clinging to his arm or chassis with the pet curled up on the the opposite side of you, it makes his morning.

♥️ He's very into PDA so he's not embarrassed to talk about how cute you were clinging to him this morning with the others (much to their annoyance).

♥️ He hates having to pry you off or wake you up because he wants to stay there and cuddle.

♥️ If he lets you sleep he'll kiss your forehead or cheek before leaving the room.

Helex

💙 He thinks it's cute, especially if you're laying on top of him and clinging to one of his smaller arms.

💙 He can easily remove you but he prefers to lay there for a few minutes and play with your hair, Tarn doesn't have to know he's awake yet.

💙 Once he does have to leave though he'll gently lay you on the bed/pull the cover over you and kiss your lips before leaving.

💙 He also likes to tease you a little bit over it with "Can't get enough of me huh?", usually while wrapping an arm around you.

Tesarus

💛 He's a little surprised at first, but comes to love how you cling to him, he's just not used to affection as much as the others is all.

💛 He gets kinda bummed out at having to eventually move you because he wants to lay there and soak up your affection like a sponge.

💛 He also teases you, but not to the extent of Vos or Helex, his teasing is super playful.

💛 He likes to touch your nose to where his should be before getting up, he also kisses the top of your head too.

How bout the rest of the DJD and Pharma for the cryptidformers?

Tarn is some sort of siren, changing form at will to walk upon land. He hides his face behind a hand crafted mask that strikes fear into all who see it, but the most terrifying part of this monster isn’t his mask or his body, it’s the voice. A voice that has persuaded many, many sailors to leap off of their own ship, or human to throw themselves from craggy cliffs into the rocks below.

The siren has help from all places. A team of sorts. One of those is Helex. Rough and brutish, a huge monster that looks like an amalgamation of a million other creatures. Two pairs of arms, a glowing, burning hole in his torso that looks like it’s lined with magma, a long, serpentine tongue that looks a little too demonic to belong to anything real. 

Another mech with multiple arms and a penchant for terrifying locals is Tesarus. He’s built to be wide, tall, and overall just gigantic. He lacks a face in the traditional sense, his whole body looking like some sort of oilslick given shape. Where his eyes should be is a deep red ‘X’, the only part of him that isn’t shiny and wet-looking. The few who have escaped and lived to tell the tale describe him as a beast with an insatiable appetite, taking his victims and lowering them slowly into a gaping whole in his stomach. Nobody knows what happens to them.

Vos is hard to find and impossible to catch. Tarn’s only follower who isn’t big and outright menacing, he sticks to the shadows. The only evidence left behind of him are the mangled corpses with faces resembling a week old roadkill or raw ground meat. Vos is the only one of the bunch who nobody can put a face to.

Nickel is the least intimidating of the group. She’s smaller than the rest of them by far, and she seems to be some sort of water elemental given a more solid shape. Her feet don’t touch the ground, opting to hover just over it as she glides around her team, never truly getting herself involved in the killing. There are questions floating about on whether or not she is actually part of the team at all.

The SG Decepticon Justice Division are a far cry from their normal verse counters, rescuing those in dire need as opposed to being a vicious assassination squad. They especially aim to rescue and relocate those pushed out of their homes by the Autobots, genocide, or the War in general. They’re a gang of misfits who make exceptional choices for their line of work.

Tarn runs the show, recovering from old trauma from the Autobots he knew pre-War and the Functionists. He’s not exactly stable, but he holds firm the Decepticon belief of doing good.

Helex acts as both a tank-like soldier and a rescue bot, using his smelter (powered down, of course) to take in and shield anyone smaller than him they need to get out of places fast.

Tesarus similarly does this, but also seeks out and destroys enemy technology.

Kaon is still their communications officer and relays information back to Megatron.

Vos (formerly Dominus Ambus) is a defector from the Autobots who had a change of heart seeing the work the DJD did. He uses his small and fast turbofox altmode to get behind enemy lines and seek out people who need rescuing. He’s one of the newest members, having joined alongside Nickel.

Forestock is still the team scientist, studying alien planets to help the non-Cybertronians the team rescue with their homesickness and regain a sense of normalcy.

Nickel was the only bot the DJD managed to rescue from Prion, being too late to save the rest of the Mini-Cons there from the Consortia. They set her down to let her try to return to normal life, but returned for her after they considered she was (presumably) the last of her kind. Nickel joined them as their medic with a firm belief that what happened to Prion should never happen to anybody else, and now she’s the Head Medic of the Decepticon movement as a whole.))

Tesarus Headcanons!

Tesarus likes watching cute anime. Lucky Star, K-on, and Quintessential Quintuplets are some of his favorites.

Tesarus wears a visor in the comics because he has trouble keeping eye contact so the visor helps calm his anxiety. 

Tesarus is neurodivergent, and has ADHD! He often stims by fidgeting with his grinder, and has trouble regulating his emotions. 

Tesarus often has lots of energy and nothing to do with it, which leads to him engaging in self-destructive habits like scratching at himself and ignoring his needs. When this happens, Helex or Nickel often stay with him and make sure he gets his energon and self care.

Tesarus often gets sensitive to loud noises, and will go to his room to get away from the source of the noise if he can.

He also tends to come off as cold or insincere when actually he really is engaged and happy in the conversation!

Tesarus also hyperfixates on anime and video games. He plays games like call of duty and other first person shooters, but also more relaxed games, like slime rancher and stardew valley!

the headcanons kind of turned more into guidelines for me for when i decide to write an actual story lmfao

DJD finding an unaligned fembot

When they first pick up the signal, they don’t think much of it.

The whole reason they go is because the next bot on the list is far away, and they’re bored as shit

They eventually get to an old (like Vos kind of old) ship and determine that as the source of the signal, but no one is inside

Everyone kind of goes their own ways to find the force of the blip but keeps in contact with one another to avoid an ambush

Tes eventually finds you. You’re hooked up to a stasis pod, and calls the others over.

Tes wakes you up totally by accident. He got bored and starting fiddling with shit and pressing buttons

Then you fall out of the pod and scare the shit out of him

I’m absolutely STUCK to the headcanon that tes has a really high pitched scream and gets mocked relentlessly by the others about it

He doesn’t yet mention what they do, he understands enough to tread carefully from here on out

Helex (being Helex) attempts to intimidate you (or starts) before being reprimanded by Nickel

Nickel insists they get you to the Peaceful Tyranny. You’re clearly woozy, you can barely stand, now’s not the time to interrogate the poor thing

Tarn and Nickel try to be at least decent. Tarn is a firm believer that respect and kindness should always be shown as a good first impression.

This applies even towards Autobots. The only time this doesn’t apply is towards traitors, though the rest of the DJD are reluctant in following these methods

Anyway, Tarn demands the rest of the DJD to at least try to show some hospitality toward you while he and Nickel figure out wtf is going on

The DJD are listening in while Tarn and Nickel converse with you

Buttering you up with simple questions like what’s your designation, where are you from, do you know where you are, stuff like that

Before finally asking your faction

The silence is almost deafening when you ask what an autobot or deception is.

The process of explaining the war to you is very delicate.

They all understand if you’re told everything that happened all at once, you’ll run screaming from them.

So they explain it in a way similar to how Cyclonus explained it to Tailgate, though Nickel ensures it stays at least somewhat neutral

As neutral it’s gonna get when being explained by a bunch of bots who literally worship Megatron like a god

When you ask what their role is, the best you’re gonna get is “punishing traitors”. They can’t tell you everything just yet

But just that gives you the gist of what they do, leaving you to imagine what they aren’t telling you
