damn i could make my room really pretty if i had $5k
#i chose the radiator. i chose the flower pot. i chose the wallpaper. but those alone cost $5k#i decided im not gonna completely drain my savings account#and like. my walls are not crumbling. my radiators not rusting. the bucket that houses my lemon tree is fine#but ugh. imagine if i had a vintage sculptural cast iron radiator and a glazed terracota tree sized flowerpot#the links to the items are all sitting sad and wet in the messenger conversation with myself#but i thought about it and id rather have subway once a week than pretty wallpaper. like cmon thats an obvious choice you know i cant cook#i have adhd im not gonna cook a meal when im hungry. best i can do is plain bread chief#im still pretty financially stable tho and i really appreciate that dont get me wrong. i could have so much to complain about

Do any of you guys know a store that sells bread loaf pans? I’m not sure if I’m looking in the wrong aisles at the stores I do go to or if I should just give up and order online.

Every single time I see one of those diy youtubers take a terracota pot and paint it I am filled with so much rage.
Terracota is a fucking sponge, it sucks up so much moisture when you water your plants, do you know what that does to paint? It fucking flakes and gets ruined in like a week, and all your hard work to paint it is worthless.
Do NOT paint terracota pots I beg you, get ceramic ones instead if you want to paint them.
I know, I know, terracota is much cheaper, but have you ever asked yourself why they never show the pot again in any video when they paint them? Because they are ruined, invest in good pots or just leave the terracota as is, do it for yourself and your cute garden.

Growing Tip: Mesclun
I had been terribly unsuccessful at growing Mesclun and roquette in the garden, until I decided this year to sow them in pots.
I wonder why the idea did not sooner came to me, for when I sowed in the Kitchen Garden, the seedlings barely had time to transform into leaves before being pinched by birds. The ones that did ended up munched on by slugs, in spite of my Slug Pubs!
Thus in mid-May, I mixed three-quarters of garden soil with one-quarter compost, and sowed Mesclun seeds in terracota pots. I left them outside, perched on a stand where neither slugs or birds could easily reach them; but where both rain and sunshine could! When it was hot and sunny, I would water regularly, to keep the soil just moist; when it rained, I wouldn’t.Â
And a month and a half later, I have beautifully lush, bright green Mesclun leaves to harvest and eat!

T-shirt Design Process (6)
This outcome is cute and aesthetic and fitted for boys and girls because of the colours used and also the design is very simplistic so that it wouldn't be too much for a boy's t-shirt design. I could've added a lot more drawings and designs into it but it would overall bring the strong outcome down since the whole purpose of this design was to fit it within the unisex range. I asked my male friends and family memeber if that a male would buy this t-shirt design and they said most would but some wouldn't since everyone has different taste. But in conclusion, the outcome itself is likeable and not too daring for a lot of costumers.
I created a rectangle fitted within the document and changed its colour to a peachy type and I used quite simplistic terracota and offset of oranges for this design. After that, I started to draw some shapes including a shape of a plant pot and two different irregular shapes with an offset of white overline to add some details. I also simply drew some leaves on top of the pot.
Furthermore, I added a paper textured layer and lowered the opacity and changed its colour overlay into screen and it made this suttle change of colours to the design which made it a lot better and with the textured lines and wrinkles.
