For Filipino viewers, Ten Years Later by Win dominated their Spotify playlist. This was one of the official OSTs of 2gether the movie. As of this writing, it gained more than 12 million views on Youtube and 6.6 million streams on Spotify. Truly, Win Metawin won the music category.

However, Thailand should not yet fully rejoice, because majority of Filipino viewers were not influenced by Thai Boys' Love movies to choose Thai music as their preferred one. It still depends on their personal likings and music taste. Also, the language might also be a barrier to choose Thai music compared to others. But, there is still high hopes for Thailand to spread their music, despite language constraints. If South Korea did it, Thailand can do it too.

It’s my 10-year LOCversary so y’all gone get this delayed #DMXchallenge! 👩🏾‍🦱🙌🏾 My locs journey began in the fall of 2009 when I was an exchange student at UC Berkeley. A loctician in Oakland started the process and it’s been mostly self-maintained with the support of Avia & Tata Daba over the years. While I started my locs for practical reasons—easier maintenance and less trips to a salon— I realized overtime that there was more to it. My locs link to my late mother since it was the last hair style she wore before her death in 2006. Her locing process was a regular conversation starter (I’ll spare you the story) and she would keep the locs that broke off in her bags/belongings. When she died I found several pieces that I kept and would touch from time to time to remember her. My locs also give life to my lifelong style, skin, hair, body goals to be as au naturel as possible. Locs are uniquely BLACK since our hair texture allows the hair to magically loc like no other! All these ten year challenges happened so here is me from October 2011. Now would I love to take photos like this again? Hell yes! Do I want to look like this again? No! This is the 2nd heaviest I was in my life. I was in one of the most unhealthy times mentally and physically. I’m dealing with a very rough time these days. It’s why I’ve barely posted anything. I’m back in therapy and trying hard. I hope to have more updates again starting soon. I have suffered a breakdown due to not dealing with a lot of past pain, a toxic former day job, and the death of several close family members in a short period of time. Honestly a person can only take so much. I just know that one day I will find me again. There’s a lot that happened, a lot to process. It’s taught me to value so much in life. Hold those you love close and don’t forget that everyone is fighting a battle you may not be able to see.
