April O'Neil is a proud reporter and fighter for New York. Helping the Turtles in defeating the Foot, Kraang, and other dangerous Mutants. She even began dating Casey, who she did love. But sadly, he wasn't providing her with her needs and had focused his time more on crime fighting.

So, April decided to find a way to get some release. Your muse being the one to do it. She kept it a secret though, since she didn't want to hurt Casey. She arrived to save your muse from some Footbots during another failed invasion attempt and left the Turtles to handle the rest.

"Hon, listen. I'm grateful you wanted to help out, but maybe leave this to the professionals who have dealt with these bucket of bolts," said April who is glad to see your muse is okay but wished they didn't get involved in the fighting.

April O'Neil was on her back to school when she got a letter. A letter showing footage of her turtle friends, but it was edited. Showing them attacking a building, when in reality, they were stopping some Foot Ninjas. But it was too convincing and would be hard to disprove.

April was told to go meet your muse, the blackmailer, at their place. Looking to have their way with her, in exchange for their silence. April hated this since she was hoping to take your muse down and destroy their computer. But they kept the original footage elsewhere, so she had no choice.

"I can't believe you're willing to frame my friends for something they didn't do just to have me...fine," said April as she sets her bag down and looked on angrily at your muse. "But if you go back on your word, I will make you regret it."

Some of my finished TMNT animations. I really love this generation of TMNT and I've felt very inspired by the style of it. My love for it is on par with my love for RiseTMNT if not a little bit more. I hope to do a few more turtle themed animations, but for now this is what I got! On a side note, I gotta say this version of April is definitely my favorite!

Revisiting / redesigning my versions of Casey and April that actually survive during the Mutant Apocalypse Arc in S5 ! ✨ || Before, I had Casey as a mutant badger like the antagonists of this specific Arc, but since I love him so much I thought, "Why not a mouse instead?"- LMAO

(I'm once again going to use these art posts to rant about my frustrations with 2012, because not only does this entire Arc make such little sense within the timeline / canon context up until this point in the story to me // Which is one of the biggest reasons why I dislike it so strongly- //, but if we're being so honest right now?? April not surviving makes the least amount of sense possible?? Like, the show already established very early on that she's not affected by mutagen, so she wouldn't have perished because of that + while I can see an argument for the impact of the blast causing her demise, I honestly don't understand why she wouldn't have just protected herself with her psychic powers / a psychic forcefield?? Like sure she would have been injured, but gone?? That makes no sense at all. Karai also should've survived to some degree?? She's a special kind of mutant, which gets harped on quite a bit during Season 3- So like? What was the reason for that? 💀

As much as I love Casey though, I can totally understand why this would take him out,, 😔 Lmao)
