ANNOUNCING: KITSUMAY!

Inspired by and modeled after @scottappreciation's annual Scottuary, we are excited to introduce...KitsuMay, a kitsune-centric Teen Wolf appreciation event running from May 1-31 2025!

⚡What is it?

KitsuMay is an event meant to boost engagement and content for Kira, Noshiko, and Hikari—the kitsune less focused on in Teen Wolf canon and/or fandom. The goal is to get as much positive Kira, Noshiko, and Hikari-focused content as possible posted throughout the month of May to boost their tags and celebrate these wonderful characters! Because of the attention already given to his character and experience, we will not be including Nogitsune!Stiles, Void!Stiles, or Fox!Stiles content in this event.

⚡How do I Play?

To participate in the event, simply create Kira, Noshiko, and/or Hikari content for one of the prompts and post your work on tumblr! You may contribute as much or as little as you want, but please only post for the event during the month of May. When posting your work, use the tag #kitsumay2025 or mention us in the post @kirayukimuraappreciation for us to share. Be sure to keep track of your works on your bingo card and attach it to your post! All creative works must be Kira, Noshiko, &/or Hikari-centric and Kira, Noshiko, & Hikari-positive. Other main POV’s and characters are allowed as long as one of the three is still the primary focus. Darker themes are welcome but this is a positive, celebratory event, and no character or ship bashing/hate will be tolerated. No Bad Friend Scott. No Evil Deaton. NSFW material is welcome so long as the author is 18+ and no non-consensual, incestuous, or underage sex acts are depicted. No Nogitsune!Stiles, Void!Stiles, or Fox!Stiles content at this time.

⚡RULES:

Download the KitsuMay Bingo Card before or during May 2025.

Create any kind of kitsune-centric content—fic, edit, art, playlist, etc.—using one of the prompts, then post during the month of May.

Written works are encouraged, must be at least 500 words, and can also be submitted to our Ao3 collection.

Bingos are achieved by posting 5 creative works corresponding to 5 different prompts going horizontally, vertically, diagonally, OR by creating nsfw works for any 5 prompts for an nsfw Bingo. Only one prompt may be used per creative work unless the work significantly focuses on more than one of the three kitsune, then you may combine up to 2 prompts.

Blackout (Full Board) Bingo is achieved by fulfilling all prompts on the board. To earn Blackout Bingo, you must create at least one work for each of the three kitsune. You may combine up to 3 prompts per work only if you are working toward a Blackout (Full Board Bingo).

The free square must still be paired with a creative work to make a bingo but can be for any concept you want.

You can combine fills with other May events (such as @teenwolf-meta's Meta May Mondays, etc.) as long as Kira, Noshiko, &/or Hikari are the primary focus.

When you post a work, be sure to include any relevant tags and trigger warnings for sensitive content (ex: suicidal ideation, non-canonical MCD, etc.) and attach your bingo card with the prompt marked off.

Late submissions accepted until Saturday, June 7th.

Filling out all five prompts in a letter row will give you horizontal bingo, filling out the same number for each row (ex: all the 1's) will give you vertical bingo, and to make a diagonal bingo, use prompts A1-B2-C3-D4-E5 or A5-B4-C3-D2-E1.

Filling out any five prompts of your choice as NSFW will also give you a bingo. Remember, one prompt per work; you may combine up to two prompts if and only if you focus on more than one kitsune & up to three prompts if and only if you are working toward Full Board Bingo.

Scott Appreciation presents Scottuary4!

➤ WHAT IS IT?

Scottuary is a Scott appreciation event running from Feb 1-Feb 28, 2025. The goal is to get as many Scott-centric, Scott-positive fics posted throughout the month of February to boost the tag & show our appreciation. Cards for Readers’ Bingo will be added midway through the month!

➤ HOW DO I PLAY?

To submit a work, simply write for one of the prompts and post your work to the Ao3 collection—you may write as many fics in advance as you’d like, but please reserve posting for February! Once you’ve posted it, share it with us using the #scottuary2025 tag, or mention us at @scottappreciation​.

All fics must be Scott-centric and Scott-positive. Scott does not need to be the POV character, but the primary focus of the fic should be Scott’s emotions/interests/needs/etc.

No character bashing, or hate of any kind, is accepted for this event. NSFW materials are fine as long as they are tagged appropriately and the author is 18+, but please no depictions of noncon at this time. No non-canonical MCD (Main Character Death).

➤ RULES

Download the bingo card before/during February 2025.

Write a fic using one of the prompts, to be posted only once February starts.

Fics must be at least 500 words.

Bingos are achieved by publishing five fics (one prompt per fic), going horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or any five squares set in the same season.

You are allowed to combine spaces for Full Board Bingo, but no more than three tiles/fic.

Please post each prompt fill as a different work, rather than chapters—for related prompts, we encourage publishing them as a series. You can submit them on Ao3 to our Scottuary collection!

The free square still needs a story paired with it to make bingo, but can be for whatever concept you’d like!

When you post a fic, share a link to it + your bingo card with that tile marked off so we can reblog it!

You do not have to complete a full five story bingo to participate! We welcome as few or as many stories as you would like to contribute.

You are more than welcome to combine fills with other February events such as @febuwhump, etc., as long as Scott is the primary focus!

How to Participate

Pack is at the forefront of Teen Wolf so it's time to focus on how Lydia fits in or stands out. This could end up being really introspective or it could end up being light and fluffy. The choice is always yours.

Day 2: Lydia & Trauma

Teen Wolf can get dark at times and there's no exception for Lydia. Whether it's being manipulated by Peter in season 1 or reliving her grandma's death in season 5, Lydia certainly has a lot to keep her up at night. How does she handle it?

Day 3: What-If Wednesday

It's What-If Wednesday! Here for all your missing scene, fix-it and alternate universe needs.

Day 4: Pre or Post Canon

What are the parts of Lydia's life that we don't get to see on the show? How did she and some of the pack members like Scott or Stiles first meet? What does she do after graduation? The possibilities are endless and anything goes!

Day 5: Rarepair Friday

Today we're focusing on rarepairs. This could be romantic, platonic, familiar etc. Any kind of bond works. We simply want to celebrate the less appreciated dynamics (or potential dynamics) of the show.

Day 6: Lydia & Mentors

This could be interpreted as Lydia being mentored by another character or it could be interpreted as Lydia acting as a mentor for another character. It's totally up to you!

Day 7: Free Day

Do whatever you want - Just have fun!

Hello everyone, we had quite some interest in making presents for each other, so I'm very excited to announce the 2024 Sceo Secret Santa!

How it works: you sign up, using the form linked below, by the end of November 16th (in your timezone), with a description of what kind of present you'd like to receive (including any fic prompts you'd like to leave), and what you'd be willing to make and like to create. You can create fics, gifsets, fanart, edits, or playlists!

I will then match you to a secret recipient, and you'll receive information about their preferences and any prompts. For fics, there will be a 500 word minimum. There's technically no maximum (go nuts if you want!) but all prompts are meant to be doable in at most 2000 words. You'll have until December 31st to post your work.

1) This is a ship-positivity event. While dark themes, sadness, and angst are all inherent in Sceo’s history and welcome, works must be positive in their overall tone and story toward the Scott/Theo relationship.

3) All submissions must have Sceo as the main focus and endgame. Background ships and characters are welcome, but please no polyships or other endgames for this event.

Adult Content

1) You must be 18 years or older to create and share NSFW content (including fic).

2) All content created must be compliant with USA laws, especially regarding the protection of minors.

Anticipated dates are March 10th - March 16th, 2025. Here's a quick rundown for anyone who may be new to Deter Week, or a refresher for those who have joined us before:

Themes will be posted closer to the end of the year, probably right at the end of the year!

That being said, the goal is not to be restrictive! You are welcome to use the themes, and you are welcome to pay them no mind and create whatever you want.

Any type of fan creation is welcome! Your moodboards, playlists, gifsets, art, fic, remix, podfic, ficbind, and anything else you can come up with is welcome!*

*With the exception of AI-generated works. I'm not going to get into it. If you want to generate fanworks with AI, it's not up to me to stop you. But they're not welcome as a part of the event.

Hello Kira lovers! We are sad to announce that, due to some life conflicts and obligations, Kira Appreciation Week will not be taking place in October 2024. We would never dream of carelessly leaving Kira in the dust, so never fear, Kira Week will return! It is an unfortunate necessity that it be postponed for now.

Wolf & Snow Moons event

(1/25-3/18)

This is a double event with overlapping parts.

Wolf

The January full moon is the Wolf Moon, also known as the Center, Greetings, Hard, Goose, Great, Old, Quiet, Spirit, and Stay Home Moon among other names. This year it's January 25th and the Wolf part of the event will run from then until March 18th.

It's a Seasonal event with 24 prompts. Use 3 or more prompts to write 3,000+ words (one fic or multiple with 1,000+ each,) create art, or make a standalone 24 track playlist.

Snow

2024 is a leap year!

The February full moon is the Snow Moon, also known as the Bear, Bony, Hunger, and Raccoon Moon, etc. It's on the 24th and the Snow part of the event will begin then and also run until March 18th.

This is a Moon event with 12 prompts. Use 2 or more prompts to write 1,500+ words (one fic or multiple with 750+ each,) create art, or make a standalone 12 track playlist.

If you're doing stuff for the Wolf event you can also add Snow prompts to your 3+ Wolf prompts once the second event starts 2/24.
