Scott Appreciation presents Scottuary4!

➤ WHAT IS IT?

Scottuary is a Scott appreciation event running from Feb 1-Feb 28, 2025. The goal is to get as many Scott-centric, Scott-positive fics posted throughout the month of February to boost the tag & show our appreciation. Cards for Readers’ Bingo will be added midway through the month!

➤ HOW DO I PLAY?

To submit a work, simply write for one of the prompts and post your work to the Ao3 collection—you may write as many fics in advance as you’d like, but please reserve posting for February! Once you’ve posted it, share it with us using the #scottuary2025 tag, or mention us at @scottappreciation​.

All fics must be Scott-centric and Scott-positive. Scott does not need to be the POV character, but the primary focus of the fic should be Scott’s emotions/interests/needs/etc.

No character bashing, or hate of any kind, is accepted for this event. NSFW materials are fine as long as they are tagged appropriately and the author is 18+, but please no depictions of noncon at this time. No non-canonical MCD (Main Character Death).

➤ RULES

Download the bingo card before/during February 2025.

Write a fic using one of the prompts, to be posted only once February starts.

Fics must be at least 500 words.

Bingos are achieved by publishing five fics (one prompt per fic), going horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or any five squares set in the same season.

You are allowed to combine spaces for Full Board Bingo, but no more than three tiles/fic.

Please post each prompt fill as a different work, rather than chapters—for related prompts, we encourage publishing them as a series. You can submit them on Ao3 to our Scottuary collection!

The free square still needs a story paired with it to make bingo, but can be for whatever concept you’d like!

When you post a fic, share a link to it + your bingo card with that tile marked off so we can reblog it!

You do not have to complete a full five story bingo to participate! We welcome as few or as many stories as you would like to contribute.

You are more than welcome to combine fills with other February events such as @febuwhump, etc., as long as Scott is the primary focus!

My first reader bingo for this year's Scottuary, and already so many amazing fics to shout out! 👀

Death a black bank of clouds by @momentofmemory - Scott and Deaton conversation immediately following Allison's death. the angst quotient in this one is off the charts, but it's so good with excellent characterization!

Missing Scene there would, in fact, be broken glass (scottuary fic) by @spikeface - In which Derek lets Scott use his loft for the date with Kira. The way i was giggling and kicking my feet with this fic! Excellent Scott and Derek friendship content

Pain Taking the price (scottuary fic) by @spikeface - The aftermath of Scott taking Gerard's pain. Very visceral and well-written, and the scallison of it all hit me like a ton of bricks

Moonlight Moonlit Night by @official-mermaid - A lovely scissac conversation on control and anchors. This one has a delicious amount of yearning/pining, and is a very good character study for both of them as well!

Scott + Minor Characters Like the Stories by @official-mermaid - Scott/Brett in which Brett is crushing hard for scott and he is Correct! Also serves as a great outsider POV fic of Scott.

We didn't get enough people reacting to Scott's new eyes in canon and Luth is here to fix that and I am right there with her!! Really enjoyed what this drabble series did in covering a range of responses/moments

Wolf Eyes When I Look Into Your Eyes by @beaconhillslurker - Scott's transition to werewolf and then to Alpha as seen through Melissa's eyes. Spectacular characterization for both Melissa and Scott, and showcases Melissa's complicated feelings about it all.

Rage An Alpha's Rage by @beaconhillslurker - The Monroe POV 6B tag that we all needed! An absolutely excellent Monroe perspective, plus a view of Scott both at his angriest, and at his most protective.

L.A. Life FREE SPACE given and taken by @lulujane - A 5 + 1 exploring the importance of small choices, all leading up to Fury. This one made me cry!

Missing Scene Five Minutes by @beaconhillslurker - Excellent scene expansion + tag for Co-Captains/Formality! Incredibly visceral Scott POV, and then some lovely Scott & Deaton comfort at the end.

Animalia ecology of fear by @naivety - Gorgeous mediation on death and change set in the aftermath of the accident that killed the deer in Tattoo. This one made me tear up as well!
