Welcome to our Winter round of Sterek Fests! Sterek Winter Fest will run from December 1st - January 4th in celebration of Winter. Whether you enjoy the cold weather, the holiday season, or just the general cozy vibes of the season, there’s a little something for everyone!

We also have a Discord you can join that has events running, such as @sterekbingo and @sterekweekly.

How to Participate:

Participating in Sterek Winter Fests is easy and stress-free! This is a no-commitment fest where you can participate as little or as much as you want. Participate in one week and none of the others if you so fancy, or participate in all of them! We have an AO3 Collection for you to post all of your creations in!  This fest is open to both Fic and Art, so create to your heart's content!

How to post:

You can post your creations to any website that you want, as long as they are viewable to the public, whether that’s Tumblr, LiveJournal, DreamWidth, or our AO3 Collection. @sterekfests so we see your creations to reblog them. Use the tags #sterekfestswinter2024, and #sterekfests for generic tags. For weekly tags: #sterekfestswinter, #sterekfestssocial, #sterekfestsbakeoff, #sterekfestsfireside, #sterekfestschampagne

Late Posting:

It's the time of the year again! It's time to come together as a pack and support progressive non-profits through Fandom Trumps Hate donations!

Sign-ups begin February 5th for all creators.

A little bit about Fandom Trumps Hate

FTH is an online fanworks auction, designed to raise money for progressive nonprofit organizations that help and support marginalized people. In the past seven years, thousands of fans have joined forces to raise nearly $240,000 for a range of progressive organizations.

Let's Sterek this up and come together to knock Sterek works out of the park! Last year we had 27 Sterek offers and 23 Sterek offers in 2022. Let's up those numbers!

So, what are you willing to offer? If you are an author, artist, beta, or provide other services within fandom, all are welcome!

Check out the list below for different types of fanworks and fan labor to get an idea of what you may like to sign up for.

You can offer any type of fanwork that can be delivered digitally, including:

written fanworks (fic, poetry, remixes, etc.)

digital art, which includes but is not limited to gifsets, manips, mood boards, etc.

podfics

fanvids (including fancams)

fan labor, which includes but is not limited to betaing, brit/japan/America-picking, or offering specialist expertise.

Sterek Mini Bang 2024 Sign Ups!

Welcome to the first round of @sterekminibang! You may know us from the several events we run, including @sterekbigbang and @sterek-exchange, but we wanted to bring back the mini bang so more fans can have access to an author-artist collaboration event.

This will run as a traditional big bang but in a mini bang format.

The word count is 5k minimum and the art requirement is 1 artwork (which can be a sketch or incomplete artwork, however, we encourage it to be as complete as possible).

You can read more about our RULES and FAQs for the event. Our schedule for this round can be found here. As this is a mini bang, the schedule is shorter than a traditional big bang.

You can sign up below on the Google forms for whichever role you are interested in. You can sign up as an author, artist, or both for this event.
