I love it when tedorire is just that one couple in the family every kid goes to for advice. Teddy being the honest and emotionally uplifting one ready to reassure you that everything is going to be ok. Victorie being the one giving advice and helping you get on your feet after teddy puts bandaids on your scraped knees.

Both of them are like a second set of parents for the wotter kids. Their calming and responsible in a way that makes them easy to go to no matter what you did. The Type you call after drinking at a house party when your not old enough too, the ones you call when you need help getting ready for your first date.

It's a perfect judgment free zone and because of that whenever one of the wotter kids can't be found, the first place their parents look towards is teddy and victoires flat. Cause if their kids are scared and can't go to them, then they'll always fall back on a certain blonde and blue haired couple that's become a safe space for any kid that needs them.

tedoire headcanons based on what i remember from my notes at 12 am

they're 2 years apart, teddy's in hufflepuff and victoire is in ravenclaw

they get together in victoire's seventh year, teddy comes to surprise her in hogsmeade and when she asks him why he's disturbing her weekend he kisses her (she sort of guessed he was going to)

victoire is almost always the big spoon

they share all their clothes

teddy can't sleep if victoire isn't draped over him somehow, like she has to have a leg around him at LEAST

vic knows teddy best other than andromeda and harry

he definitely has anger issues and vic is one of the people who's best at calming him down

victoire is the nail stylist of half the wotter clan and teddy is no exception

they're definitely best friends first, being a couple later, which is why so many people think they're off-and-on. they just don't really act any differently after they get together

victoire knows what she wants, and she GETS what she wants. even if she didn't start dating teddy until she was seventeen, she knew she was going to date him someday.

teddy's year is super small since he was born during the height of the war, and victoire made sure she met every single person to see if they were a threat to her future plans with teddy

looks almost the exact same as her mum and has her mum’s personality (with a little bit of bill fused into her)

she has the oldest daughter mentality where she always needs to be StressedTM over something. even when she has nothing going on in life she will create an issue to be worried over. when she was younger this was hard for her to emotionally handle but she has gotten better at pretending she is sane over the years

this also led her to do med school. idk healer vic is something so personal for me. idk what exactly she’d be doing but i know it would be in the big buck areas. a dermatologist or a optometrist or a surgeon or something. she’s smart as hell.

very particular about presenting a good image for her family. she was the oldest weasley in the new generation and so she knew she had to present herself in a certain way, and she never thought she minded until she was suddenly 18 and having an identity crisis

furthermore, the rita skeeter incident with her and teddy nearly killed her. shes been through some traumatic shit but that was crossing the line

gets into so many fights with dominique because both of them are polar opposites and are jealous of each other for completely different reasons. dominique wishes she can fit into the mould like victoire so easily does, victoire wishes she could be as free and uncaring as dominique is. both don’t understand each other

HOWEVER victoire and dominique are the ultimate soulmates. it doesn’t matter how much they fight, they’re very close. dominique rants to her and sends her memes victoire can’t understand and victoire will still pay for dom’s meals when theyre out bcuz it doesn’t matter how old dominique is, she is still her little sister. and victoire retains every last piece of dom’s friendship group drama, and stalks them all on social media silently judging the shit out of them

no seriously victoire and dominique are The Siblings like the most important relationship in each others lives i could write essays on my hcs for their dynamic. ask me about headcanons for them specifically and i will go into LOTS of detail

she’s a ravenclaw to me, which made her a little insecure because everyone sort of assumed weasley = gryffindor, so she had to change her brand a little bit and establish herself as a delacour so people would lay off her. it helps that shes as insanely pretty as her mother

sucks ass at quidditch but no one will ever know because she graciously avoided flying at all costs (she can do enough to pass the compulsory flying classes but that is IT)

very outwardly polite and nice to other people but always retains a sense of distance. she wants to be close to people but she doesn’t know how to build those connections— she’s very scared of being hurt or betrayed so she sticks with people she’s already known before her walls went up.

used to be a little dictator when her, dom, and louis played games around shell cottage. she would make all the rules and be very strict about following it all. dom and louis were useless at games without her, because they couldnt make rules where there were stakes and it wasn’t fun without them. yknow, older sibling shenanigans.

Who’s more ticklish?

Teddy, it's actually ridiculous. He's just very touch sensitive. Victoire is decently ticklish too but Teddy is worse.

Who’s the lee and who’s the ler?

Teddy is definitely the lee, Vic is the ler. Sometimes Teddy gets ler moods but not super often and Vic just enjoys having big, cuddly Teddy falling to pieces.

Who gets embarrassed by tickling?

Teddy sometimes, but only when he gets tickled in front of strangers. Most of the people in his life already know what a mess he is, so then he doesn't mind. He just blushes a lot more and gets kinda tense.

Who teases the other about tickling more?

Victoire teases the shit out of Teddy. He gets all flustered and sheepish and forgets how to form sentences. It's worse when Vic first finds out about his thing for it, but he gets better after a while and only really gets affected when she catches him off guard.

Who initiates the tickle fights?

They both do. Perhaps Teddy a bit more than Vic because its on his mind more and he likes to be physical and roughhouse occassionally.

Do either of them have a tickling kink?

Teddy does. I think it took him a while to learn that it was an actual thing, but he always knew he didn't hate getting tickled.

Who has the cutest tickle laugh?

Teddy. It gets all giggly and hearty.

Victoire's laugh is cute regardless.

Who is ticklish in unusual places and where would that be?

With the right touch, Teddy is ticklish practically anywhere. Like literally anywhere.

Vic has only a couple of odd places, like her sternum and her lower back.

Who gets cheer-up tickles?

Both, when the situation allows it. Victoire can get caught up on little things sometimes, and even though Teddy will happily listen to her rant or try to comfort her, there are occasions when all that doesn't work and his last resort is to tickle some sense into her.

Teddy, on the other hand, just gets into these moods sometimes where he's kinda grumpy for now reason or just refuses to talk which is usually when Vic will bring out the cheer-up tickles.

Who takes advantage of the other one getting their arms stuck while taking off their shirt?

Both of them, all the time. They already struggle keeping their hands off each other anyways and they're a pretty playful couple, so whenever it happens, the other has a field day.

How did they discover each other’s ticklishness?

I don't think either of them really remember. They've known each other for so long and have always been so close, it's just one of those things that their brains have filed away with all the other useless information.

I imagine Teddy saw Bill or someone tickle Victoire when they were little, and he heard the sound she made and knew that he wanted to hear it again.

Victoire would have found out through someone else, perhaps Harry or Ginny or even little James spilling the beans to her and Vic immediately having to find out for herself.

Who can’t take tickle bites?

Vic! It's just too much. Especially once Teddy starts growing in some stubble. She'll literally have to grab his hair and pull him away. Of course he slips them in every now and then just to be annoying.

Who has to be tickle-forced out of bed in the morning?

Teddy, not a morning person. Victoire, however, very much a morning person. But also sleepy Teddy is the cutest, and adding tickles on top of that just makes him all giggly and blushy.

Who is in danger of getting hurt when attacking the other?

Teddy. Not that Victoire is a particularly violent person, but she does squirm a lot and since Teddy is a good amount stronger than her, she's not all too worried about him getting hurt.

Who provokes the other into tickling them and how?

Teddy and through any means known to man. Hiding things Vic needs behind his back or out of reach, being purposefully annoying, snarky/cheeky replies, stretching, exposing ticklish parts 'accidentally'... you get the idea.

7: It's tough to pick one, because pretty much everything I write is either canon or just-to-the-left of canon for the ADO-verse. Very few exceptions. But I think the story/hc I feel proudest of is probably A Matter of Interpretation. I think I actually managed to capture that essence of what it is to be a teenager who gets pushed just a little too far. I aimed for nuanced and grey, with no one really making it out with their hands clean, and I think I hit it.

21: I technically answered this one on another response (see: Tedoire punk ballet fic), BUT there is also the whole idea of what life was like in the Marauders Polycule during the first war that I have sort of been thinking about wistfully and have resigned myself to providing through vignettes in the existing ADO-verse lol. That may change in the future, but for now I'm content to leave it alone.

30: I write it down if I think I'm going to forget it which is probably about 20% of the time. Otherwise I am positive that I will remember (I do not always remember.) About 50% of the time I will play around with it in my head a bit and see if I like where it's headed (usually it's not compelling enough to keep me) and about 25% of the time I just flat-out forget. And then there's that remaining 5% where it sticks in my brain forever and decides it lives there now lol. That's what ends up becoming the stories I write.
