Boyfriend headcanons kaiju no 8 boys

Reno

Whenever you both are outside training or near anyone, he does nothing more affectionate than holding your hand at most, but when you both are at home, he does not let go of you. Back hugging you and snuggling into you. It's his favorite thing to do.

He loves to be the little spoon while cuddling. He always wants to be in your embrace while sleeping, or else he cannot sleep all night. "Name, can we please cuddle? I had a rough day." He says in such an adorable voice that how could you deny him?

He is a great cook and always makes you mouth-watering dishes to eat all day. He just loves seeing you enjoy his dishes and eat them so cutely.

He loves at-home dates. He just loves watching any movies, shows, or anime you want to watch as he cuddles you. When you both had your anniversary and you were in the mood for something fancy, he decorated the living room with flowers, teddy bears, chocolates, and gifts to surprise you. 

Hoshina

He absolutely loves it when you pamper him with all your affection. Cupping his face. Giving him onslaught kisses, burying your head in his neck. Whenever he thinks about that, His day becomes one of the best.

Hoshina is an overly protective boyfriend. The moment he comes home, he checks your body for any wounds. Whenever he even sees you interact with one of the juniors, he makes sure the both of you don't talk for more than 3 minutes, or else the game is over. He makes sure you feel safe and protective.

Hoshina loves giving you a flower and chocolate every day. He always has a bundle of chocolates with him and goes to a local flower shop to get you any cute flower.

He loves picnic dates and afternoon dates. He loves to take you to a quiet park. Lay down a blanket and rest in your lap as you and him talk for hours and hours. Picnic dates are usually in the morning, as he likes to take you out on brunches too. 

Kafka

He is the most affectionate boyfriend. He gives you many warm hugs every day. He loves to kiss your temple as you relax on top of him.

He loves hearing you talk. Your voice is just so comforting. He brings you to his lap and burys his face in your neck as you talk about anything.

He does not show his jealous side, as he knows you are loyal to him, but one thing he makes sure of is that you have a healthy routine. If he does not know that you have eaten well, slept well, and are drinking plenty of water, he has to check up on you because his mind keeps thinking about you.

Even though he does not look like it. Kafka is a fancy man. He takes you out to fancy restaurants to eat at on dates. He always has a private reservation ready for you and him. After all, your happiness is Kafka's happiness.

Gen

Gen has made you obsessed with gaming too. After all, games are addicting. He got you all kinds of gaming consoles and game figures to play with him.

A lot, meaning everyone asks you. Why choose Gen? An irresponsible captain who has such an attitude and is careless, but what they haven't seen is Gen's soft side. He makes sure you are okay. He cannot focus on anything unless you are safe. Once on a Kaiju mission when you got injured. Gen stayed up all night. Not touching his games or electronics once, as he needed to take care of you and make sure you were safe. Not letting you go on a mission unless you are recovered.

Even if he is loyal. He is the most jealous person ever. He knows your beauty and your aura, which makes people gravitate towards you. So, he makes sure to have you near him at all times, not letting you even talk to a guy in peace.

He loves arcade dates and karaoke dates, but if you don't want to go there, He takes you to amusement parks and water parks. Gen loves an adventure.

You let out an exhausted sigh as you tramped through the door, throwing your stuff onto a nearby armchair with little concern as to whether or not they actually reached the chair. “God, I’m tired.” You exhaled, heading to the bathroom to change out of your work clothes. After you were done, you trudged to the living room, only to find Reno crouching in front of the fireplace. “Oh hey, when’d you get back?” You mumbled, sinking tiredly into the couch. Reno turned his head to look at you, a smirk on his face. “What? I just get home and that’s whatcha say to me?” He laughed, then stood up and headed to the kitchen. “Hey, where you going?” You called after him, rearranging the pillows as you spoke. “Relax, babe,” Was the reply, as Reno returned with a box of matches, some balled up paper, and a cocky smirk. “I ain’t leaving you alone for too long.” He took a seat in front of the fire and began stuffing the wads of paper into the fireplace, before setting them ablaze. “Just wanna get this place nice and toasty, y’know?” He chuckled before putting out his match and taking a seat next to you while the fire crackled away. “Tired?” He asked, running a hand up and down your leg, comfortingly. You nodded groggily, curling up on the couch and getting ready to succumb to sleep. Reno crawled on top of you and kissed your forehead. “Want a human teddy bear to keep you company?” You nodded, wanting someone to snuggle with, especially now that it was so warm and cozy in the living room. Reno sniggered, then slid off of you. “Don’t worry, I’ll be right back. Lemme just get changed.” He disappeared into your shared bedroom and returned holding a big blanket, and wearing a tank top, pajama bottoms, and fluffy socks. “Alright, now we can get all nice n’ comfy.” He clambered on top of you again, dragging the blanket over the two of you. “Thanks, Ren…” You muttered, sleepily settling into his hold. “You’re welcome, babe.” He whispered, kissing the side of your neck and wrapping his lean arms around your torso. “Love you.” “Love you too.” Before either of you knew it, you were fast asleep, snuggled up in each other’s arms by the fire.

Tim Walz, the Democratic vice-presidential nominee, has called for the electoral college system of electing US presidents to be abolished and replaced with a popular vote principle, as operates in most democracies.

His comments – to an audience of party fundraisers – chime with the sentiments of a majority of American voters but risk destabilising the campaign of Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, who has not adopted a position on the matter, despite having previously voiced similar views.

“I think all of us know, the electoral college needs to go,” Walz told donors at a gathering at the home of the California governor, Gavin Newsom. “We need a national popular vote. We need to be able to go into York, Pennsylvania, and win. We need to be in western Wisconsin and win. We need to be in Reno, Nevada, and win.”

He had earlier made similar remarks at a separate event in Seattle, where he called himself “a national popular vote guy”, while qualifying it by saying, “that’s not the world we live in.”

The statements refer to the apparent democratic anomaly whereby US presidential polls are decided not by who wins the most votes nationwide but instead by which candidate captures a majority of 538 electoral votes across the 50 states, plus Washington DC.

The votes are distributed broadly reflective of each state’s population size, so populous California, for example, has 54 electoral college votes, while tiny Rhode Island has just four. However, rare cases of US presidents winning the electoral college while losing the popular vote tally do happen, notably in recent times George W Bush in 2000 and Donald Trump in 2016

The concerns over the electoral college system crystallise the reality that next month’s contest between Harris and Trump, the Republican nominee, will come down to the outcomes in a small number of battleground states, where polls show them running neck-and-neck.

Most surveys indicate Harris having a small but consistent nationwide lead. Yet even if these are borne out on polling day, Trump could still return to the White House by winning enough swing states to reach the 270 electoral votes needed.

That scenario is feared by Democrats since it would repeat the outcome of the 2016 election, when Trump beat Hillary Clinton thanks to the electoral college despite winning nearly 3m fewer votes across the nation.

Walz’s comments are eye-catching because he was chosen as Harris’s running mate because his homely, plain-speaking style was judged as appealing to working-class voters in three of the most important battleground states, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.

It is not the first time that Walz, the Minnesota governor, has advocated ditching the electoral college.

Last year, he signed legislation that added Minnesota to the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, which would force states to award their electors to the national popular vote winner if enough of them agreed to do so.

In the absence of that, only a constitutional amendment could alter the current electoral system.

Harris-Walz campaign officials stressed that abolishing the electoral college was not part of its agenda.

“Governor Walz believes that every vote matters in the electoral college and he is honored to be traveling the country and battleground states working to earn support for the Harris-Walz ticket,” Teddy Tschann, a spokesman for Walz, told the New York Times.

The comments were seized on gleefully by Trump’s campaign, which is generally believed to have an advantage in the present system.

“Why does Tampon Tim [Trump’s derisive nickname for Walz] hate the Constitution so much?,” the Trump campaign posted on its official X account.

The comment overlooked the fact that Trump himself has been accused of calling for “terminating the constitution” in support of his lie that Joe Biden and the Democrats stole the 2020 presidential election.

Research published last month by Pew showed 63% of American voters favouring electing the president by the popular vote, although support was greatest among Democrats, while a small majority of Republicans favoured keeping the electoral college.

Harris said in a 2019 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she was “open to the discussion” of changing the current system, saying the popular vote had been “diminished”. But she has avoided more categorical statements on the subject.

In a 60 Minutes interview on CBS that aired on Monday, the vice-president said she had recently told Walz that “you need to be a little more careful on how you say things.”

Let's get this squared away: Vince's regression is rough. Because of this, some of his more negative habits come out to play. How often he slips is determined by how much stress he is under, and he began regressing after he got out of jail to deal with the things he saw and experienced while he was there. He usually holds off regressing and bottles up all his emotions until he drops hard. He regresses through a broad range of ages, anywhere from 3 to 9 (most often around 7.)

He becomes bratty and defiant, trying to break any rules you may have put in place for the sheer joy of seeing how far he can take it. Then, he throws a complete fit when you punish him. Speaking of which, this little boy needs RULES, and strict ones at that. He also needs a routine to provide him with some consistency. He believes that acting out is the only way to get attention, so you quickly need to teach him that it's not okay to behave like that, and all he needs to do to get attention is to ask. He needs a caregiver that has the patience of a saint, because when he's throwing a tantrum, he'll get in your face and shove you around as a way of provoking you to hit him. Sometimes, he'll actually slap you just to get a reaction. You definitely have to remain calm and even-keeled, but also teach him that it is never okay to hit people.

This kiddo chews on his nails and sucks his thumb all the time, and it makes you worry about all the germs going in his mouth. No matter how hard you try, you can't get him to use a pacifier. It drives you INSANE. As a way of compromise, you buy him a chewy necklace, which he always forgets he has. It's definitely not an easy job to be his carer, but it's so worth it for the little bit of relief it provides him.

Danny Fisher (King Creole, 1958):

Danny found himself regressing a few days after his mother died. He didn't know what it was or why it was happening, and quite frankly, it scared the crap out of him. In all honesty, I don't think he'd be comfortable with having a caregiver who wasn't a family member. So, Mimi often takes care of him. She's extremely confused about it; all she knows is that her brother sometimes acts like a kid and gets really clingy. He's very closed off about his regression, and if Mimi mentions it while he's big, he immediately shuts her down and changes the topic. She knows he's not hurting anyone (and that he's been through hell), so she chooses not to further question him and goes along with it.

He regresses into babyspace, and can usually tell before it happens. Before he fully drops, he tells Mimi his head is "getting fuzzy.” So, she prepares a safe area for him and gathers some items he likes to have with him when little. A teddy bear his mother gave him, a blanket from when he was a kid and a pacifier from when he was a baby are the only “little items” he has. He likes when Mimi reads him the books his mother used to read to them as kids. Sometimes, he finds himself crying softly because of how much he misses his mother, and Mimi is right there to comfort him. When little, he often forgets who his sister actually is, and ends up calling her "mama." She doesn't mind; whatever helps him, helps him.

When he's not crying or being read to, he likes to have dance parties with Mimi! They'll put on a record of some kid-friendly songs, and they have a little jam session.

Clint Reno (Love Me Tender, 1956):

He regresses out of anxiety, and it's the only thing that keeps him from going headfirst into neurosis while his brothers are in the Army. He is very playful and energetic when little, but also becomes extremely defensive and more protective of his siblings than when he is big. (I didn't think that was possible, but here we are.) He is quite reckless when it comes to his own safety, but if someone threatens his brothers, he's squaring up and ready to fight. Although he's filled with feral energy, if unprovoked, he's very well behaved. He doesn't throw tantrums, and is a very respectful boy (doesn't matter if you're younger than him, he says "sir" and "ma'am" to EVERYONE.) He doesn't really have a definite age that he regresses to: he's just a kiddo!

He has no problem regressing in front of Vance, Brett and Rey, and is very nonchalant about it. They absolutely freak out the first time this happens and they think he's lost his sanity. When he goes back to being big, they have an intense interrogation session with him, and he explains that sometimes he just feels a little different! After the shock wears off, they melt because for once, their kid brother is allowing himself to be...well, a kid.

He is definitely a gentle giant in the sense that he actually forgets that he isn't physically small. Sometimes, he'll flop on top of Vance and almost crush him. Vance literally does not care, because if Clint is happy, he's happy. I don't think his brothers would treat him differently when he's regressed than they would if he was big; if anything, they just speak in more gentle voices and tone down the rough-housing. He loves playing outside, especially in mud and dirt! He takes a bath every night because somehow or another, he always ends up outdoors.

He's very clumsy, and has A TON of bruises on his knees and elbows. He's more than likely to be wearing at least one bandaid, and his brothers have a first aid kit with them at all times. When he falls, he thinks absolutely nothing of it; he gets right back up and continues playing!

(A/N: i originally wanted to make this with all of the ECU littles, but i haven’t watched all of elvis’ movies yet. with that being said, i’ll most likely divvy this into a few parts, and continuously post as i watch them!)

Unfortunately, they recovered this one only after Panam blasted it with a machine gun (to be fair, it was shooting them), so now Judy, Teddy and Mitch have to put it back together.

happy oc-tober everypony 💖 finally took the time to draw out my three main fallout characters! i was going to draw all of my ocs out before posting but i couldn't wait to share these i love them so so so much they are my besties truly i made them i live for them and i would and will die for them

some info about each of them under the cut:

jesse: sosu; you know him, you love him, i never shut up about him. early 30s. my vaguely self-insert projection character who's taken on a life of his own at this point (but in my heart he will always be an extension of me to some extent). anyway. science guy, pacifist-adjacent. pre-war he was a radiologist w/ a concentration in epidemiology and was one of the last researchers trying to cure the new plague. his story in-game is less about shaun and more about the question of whether or not he's a synth (he's not but he's manipulated into thinking he is for a long long time). works with the railroad but has a falling-out with them post-game and takes up post as a doctor in diamond city. soft-spoken but capable. has a few grey hairs because i think it's cute and no other reason (poliosis). he's bi and dating nick. also poly but that's not super important.

bec: lw; i drew her here as she looks at age 29, when she's hanging out in the commonwealth with jesse. i'm not a fan of fo3 so she's truly a fo4 npc who just so happens to have also been the protagonist of fo3. she was injured pretty badly while activating the purifier and suffered severe radiation burns on the right side of her body; it was bad enough that the bos, who took her in, had no other option than to amputate her right arm (she's left-handed). she was coerced into working with the bos in exchange for saving her life and giving her a fully-functioning prosthetic arm but eventually parted ways on less than stellar terms once maxson started worming his way into power. she made he way north on the trail of dr. li and her father, who she had discovered had close ties to the institute (and she herself had a bit of a stake in the synth equation because of how much the replicated man quest affected her). after coming up empty she decided to hunker down in an old red rocket outside of sanctuary hills and turned the garage there into her home. she's a mechanic and loves tinkering with old tech, power armor in particular. she's a lesbian and dating another npc of mine, peaches (aka the general of the minutemen in jess' story).

simon: c6; late-20s. chaotic neutral but not chaotic stupid. dumbass but not dumb. they're related to the chosen one (it's a long and complicated family history that i haven't completely fleshed out yet) and they grew up in arroyo. they were always eager for adventure and set out at a young age for new reno, taking whatever odd jobs they could find. they eventually settled on being a package courier, as it gave him the opportunity to see more of the wasteland they loved so much. they set up a trading post on the long 15 years later and weren't able to escape the blast when it was destroyed; they carry a long scar across the length of their back as a reminder. he's mainly out for himself, but he's also deeply loyal to those few he considers trustworthy. has a soft heart under his silly and slightly abrasive exterior. collects teddy bears and dyes their own hair with a dye they makes themself with a mixture of bleach, clay, and mutfruit. never one to hunker down, they basically vanish back west after hoover dam. unsure if anyone ever sees him again. he's gay and 'dating' arcade (it's very very very very very complicated).

I remember one year my aunt took me and my brother along with her kids to see the mall Santa. I had never met a Santa before and was nervous, I didn’t want to sit on a stranger’s lap. My aunt convinced me by saying that he could get me anything I wanted for Christmas. After this revelation I was quiet and contemplative because she basically made Santa sound like a one wish Genie. The line was long, and kid after kid got off Santa’s lap, all smiles. I was getting excited because I had finally found what I wanted more than anything else, and my aunt hadn’t considered how deeply and literally I believed everything I was told.

My cousins went first. My boy cousin asked for a nerf gun and my girl cousin asked for a Baby Alive doll. Finally it was my brother’s turn. He asked for a new bike.

My turn came and I very sheepishly went and stood in front of Santa and looked at his eyes under his hairy eyebrows and tried to see if the magic was there I guess. He was super kind and asked if he could pick me up and I nodded yes. He positioned me on his knee and asked what I wanted. I was afraid that if I asked, he would say no.

I mustered up all of the courage my little five year old heart could and asked Santa to bring my mom back, that I really just wanted a mom.

The man definitely didn’t see that coming, and I watched his sweet face contort with agony and tears rolled from his eyes to his cheeks and feel silently in his beard. He said “is your mom in heaven?” And I said “no. She’s in Reno. But I don’t know where that is. Can you find her for me. I don’t want anything else.”

He looked at my aunt and back to me. He looked so anguished. He finally said “I will do what I can, but sometimes people have to stay away for work etc. (he didn’t know what the context was, but he did his best.) and he said if he could t bring my mom back, he would take a teddy bear to visit her and she could put all of her love into it and give it back to me.

I told him “Thanks for trying. But she doesn’t want to come back.” And he set me tenderly on the floor and put up his 15 minute break sign. I walked back over to my family and on the way I saw so many mothers looking at me with tears in their eyes. My aunt laughed loudly and tried to play it off S a funny thing that I made the mall Santa cry. That I did it wrong. I didn’t say anything and used every drop of my energy to keep tears back. The other moms glared at her and she quickly whisked us away and we went home. She’s been telling that story since. I stopped going to holidays. My mom never really came back, but we are Facebook friends.

The mall Santa got my address from my aunt and I did get a bear from the mall Santa for Christmas. I think I shoved it under my bed.

DigiDad Kafka idea.

The kids in their rookie forms are sometimes seen by regular people, but due to their cuteness most think they're just advanced toys that got lost. Bearmon once had an incident where Kikoru found him before the exam and she just picked him up like a teddy bear, Kafka and Reno had a small heart attack when that happened.

Oh no! 😂

Kikoru would absolutely nab one of Kafka's kids by sheer accident and not know it. (Bearmon/Lopmon being the victims cause they're the cutest.) Kafka ends up lying that the toy belongs to his daughter and she lost on the way home one day. Even comes up with a picture of Bearmon sitting at a tea party table alongside their three other siblings. It works as she gives the bear back.

For how the Digimon in question got in this situation, they were curious about how the Defense Force exam is done. Thus they hitched a ride through the Internet lines and took a short break outside after getting lost. Bearmon played the toy card once Kikoru gotten too close.

Can only imagine her face once she learns that those 'toys' are Kafka's adopted children. Kikoru definitely would be embarrassed about her accidental kidnapping. Bearmon forgiving her makes it less awful.

Here's a little bit from one of the many ongoing Perry Mason fics I'm working on always and forever until I drop dead:

E.S. chews on it. His cigarette burns down to his fingers and he drops it into the gravel under the porch. Without it, he looks like a little kid again. “My parents weren’t ever in love with each other,” he says, sounding only a little sad about it. “They barely even like each other. That’s why Ma’s in Reno, right?” “That’s part of it anyway.” Perry doesn’t want to get into Pete’s many years of sleeping around and staying out too late and the hundreds of nasty, sour fights he and Ruth had. No kid needs to know about that. ”E.S., look… your parents like each other fine, but your dad and I… I really love him. I do. I’m not… I don’t want to hurt him. Or you, or your mother. Neither of us do.”  “Yeah. Good. Okay.” E.S. nods and straightens up, putting on a little toughness. He’s a big man again. Head of the household, even though Pete hasn’t gone anywhere. He scrunches up his mouth in a way that is so Pete it makes Perry’s stomach clench. He wonders if he’ll ever look at Teddy and see himself. E.S. looks the least like Pete of all the boys, with his round face and blond hair and tall, lean body— but hell if he isn’t his father’s son. “You oughta just move in then. You’re over here enough.”  “Jesus, kid.”  “It’d be easier. We wouldn’t mind,” he says, speaking for his brothers too. Perry wonders what, if anything, the younger boys know or have a sense of. Maybe E.S. has talked to them about it. Maybe the three of them have huddled together late at night and discussed what Perry Mason is doing at their house all the time.  “Your neighbors might.” E.S. produces a scoff that’s almost a laugh. “Dad always told us not to give a shit what the neighbors thought.”  Isn’t that just like Pete?

“That’s a tough one!” Reno kept a straight face as she acted like she was thinking about it. “But definitely you, sorry to the bunny.”

"It is, isn't it? The bunny is really adorable indeed." he added with a bright smile. "Oh me! What an honor!" he ginned. "Also, I received many bunny and teddy plushies, would you like one of each? I have so many."

How would your twst ocs react if someone proposed to them?

Ohhhhh...oh, this is gonna be a HARD one. XD I'm really not good at the hyper-romantic type stuff! But I'll try my best... First of all, let's completely disregard the gender of the other party: male, female, undecided...it doesn't matter, love is love, a proposal is a proposal. So if you're looking for explicit M/M or F/M stuff, not happening. XD With that said... I feel like, with James, Elias, Grit, and Maelstrom, in particular...no one would propose to them. Oh, no. THEY would propose to YOU first. Inarguably. Why? Well, James has a swashbuckler's sort of cavalier chivalry, despite his piratical attitude at times, so I think he would feel it's his duty to be the one to make the proposal first. Elias, meanwhile, just has a tendency to be very melodramatic in general. So he'd WANT to make that proposal first. He'd have a freaking speech or poem or song prepared for it and everything. Grit and Maelstrom...I feel both of them have a commonality of being raised a certain way by their parents. In both cases, they were taught to be the ones to make the proposal, so propose they shall. So ask not how they would react to someone proposing to them: ask instead how YOU would react if THEY proposed. ;) With those four out of the way, that leaves us with Nakoda, Billy, Reno, Smitty, and Theodore. In all five cases, I think there's a better chance of the other party proposing before they do, for various reasons. With both Smitty and Billy, I think they'd be very, very blushy. I mean, they're both still getting over the fact they have an S/O to begin with, somebody who is "more than a friend," someone who will give them hugs and even kisses and say loving things to them and go out on dates and so on. They're honestly very content there already. So when the other party reveals they're ready to go the next step...it's a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and absolute bewilderment this is happening at all. And you can be darn sure it's going to end in a LOT of cuddling...in Smitty's case, it's like hugging a teddy bear. In Billy's, it's more like the teddy is hugging you. ;) In Reno's case, he'd be caught off guard, but he'd also try to recover and save face as quickly as possible. He'd smirk and try to show off, laughing about how he wondered how long it would take you, before sort of snorting and saying that he'll accept, provided you give him a kiss right there and then. Just ignore the way his pale cheeks turn a bit pink, or how fast his heart is beating. ;) Theodore would, I think, just sort of freeze up, his eyes VERY wide. He'd be absolutely stunned. After you finish, he'd actually start laughing hysterically; a high-flying, cackling, almost insane laugh, wiping as he eyes and cackling about how he thinks you MUST be joking. Once he gets it through his head that, no, you are VERY serious...I think he'd switch instantly from cackling at the "joke" to sort of scowling as he tries to figure out what you even see in him. But eventually he'd accept it and give you a rare, soft smile before saying yes...mind you, with the added (affectionate) taunt that you have to be very dumb to propose to him. The kiss on your nose indicates he doesn't mind. As for Nakoda...he is different from all the rest. Because while all the rest will accept right then and there...he won't. He won't say no, either. He'll say he has to think about it. And he means it: he DOES have to think about it. Nako, as I've indicated many times in the past, isn't really used to long-running romantic relationships. He's used to one night stands...and a lot of those end with his partner ending up as food. So, even more than Smitty and Billy...he NEVER thought he'd get this far. He's been trying hard, mind you, but the very IDEA that this could become something more...that's something he almost can't wrap his head around. And it now means he has to really figure out what it's going to mean if he says yes. It's not that he doesn't trust you with all this, it's that he doesn't trust HIMSELF. Eventually, he'll say yes...then it's all a question of what comes next.
