Do you think Techno would wear a chastity device if Phil, or maybe anyone, asked him to?

I think he'd be open to it. Especially with Phil since there's so much trust there. They both travel a lot and spend long times apart, maybe they agree Techno isn't allowed to touch himself without Phil around. Make sure he's nice and pent up for the reunion sex that's bound to happen. Phil knows Techno would honestly also hold his promise without the chastity device (again, lots of trust there) they just both think it's kind of hot.

As for other characters, chastity devices remind me of Samnoblade because he seems like the kind of guy who would get real turned on from having that control over his partner.

Because I keep seeing finale neg at least once a day despite the fact that I hit “don’t recommend” on the ones that still cross my dash… The finale has gone through one tedious game of telephone because people cling onto a dialogue that really needs the urgency of the voice acting to understand. Improv on a time limit isn’t the greatest way to convey a story, but taking the lines at face value is really the worst way to experience it. They didn’t see the way Tommy keep shifting around anxiously waiting or the way Punz kept moving in and out of frame to get Dream’s attention. They didn’t see how Tommy “limped” after being revived and cornered, too exhausted and confused to keep fighting and so choosing to talk to the end. They didn’t hear the exhausted way Tommy apologized as the nuke got louder and closer as Punz kept urging Dream to escape or the way Dream’s pity voice switched to his usual accusatory voice while escaping.

And just a reminder that just because I enjoyed and accept the finale doesn’t mean I think it was great. I just think it was understandable. There are like a thousand different ways this could have ended better, especially had other creators taken part (particularly Sapnap), but this ending wasn’t OOC or bad imo.

Just because someone is a terribly shitty person who’s done awful things doesn’t mean they aren’t allowed to have emotions. Dream is offered redemption, but he doesn’t have the chance to receive it. Hell, given more time, he probably wouldn’t have even taken it, especially since Punz was still there, and Punz has no deeper, older motive (especially not one so thoroughly twisted beyond recognition that rationally it directly conflicts with Dream’s wants) behind the want for power. People forget that Punz was still there, trying to keep Dream against Tommy but was mostly ignored.

I think that if it hadn’t been for the White Screen, Tommy would have still lost. There was no winning. People who didn’t watch the stream didn’t know that they were cut off before they actually had a chance to make a choice. It was a small spark of something, the smallest idea of something other than what they were, but it was cut off before it could actually be properly considered because that last understanding would have required a lot more time to fully flesh out. I’m actually really upset that I haven’t come across any fics that dive into “what if they actually didn’t die to the nuke and talked just a little bit longer, how would the rest of that conversation go” that isn’t just “Tommy kills Dream” even though that defeats the entire point of his character arc.

Unfortunately, even people who did watch the stream just took everything at face value without recognizing the nuances within their block people actions. ALSO. THE DREAM AND TOMMY AT THE END ARE NOT THE ORIGINAL DREAM AND TOMMY. THEY ARE COMPLETELY NEW AND DIFFERENT CHARACTERS TO REASSURE THAT THERE IS A SEASON TWO DSMP. STOP PUSHING THE AMNESIA NARRATIVE. LET THEM HAVE A NEW DYNAMIC.

it's weird experiencing the death of someone you didn't even actually know, but what they created still impacted you, and now... nothing more will be made.

Wowaka, Chester, Technoblade-- these deaths really hurt. I didn't know any of them. Yet it still hurts even now.

Wowaka's music impacted me, Chester's impacted me, Technoblade is an outlier there since he didn't make music, but he was like, the main streamer I watched for DSMP since I didn't really have interest in it past him, Philza, and Ranboo... he was funny, he was smart, he seemed like a cool dude-- not to mention the character he played in it was genuinely cool too.

Something about the fact he couldn't see what he was working on to the end. He was building a whole thing in hopes of making more story, but...

i know coming back right is kinda a silly idea but im thinking about it.

what if ranboo came back, and they came back right?

not physically, of course. god, he looks a decade older and has the exhaustion to match. their skin is marred, mostly scar tissue now, from the explosion, from sam, from the endless ocean of limbo, from crying. tubbo hates that they match now. he’s skinnier, too, as if death took everything but the skin and bones of him. they look more monstrous. theres a new streak of white in his hair. it reminds tubbo of wilbur. it reminds tommy of himself.

but he’s just as kind, he still holds their son with tenderness and sings songs of old to him. he still brushes tubbos hair away with a feather-light touch. they still help techno with the dogs. he still visits tommy. they still grow pink tulips.

their memory is... better. ranboo still loses his house keys and forgets where he was going or what they ate for lunch, but they have every scar on tommy memorized, he knows tubbo like the back of their hand, can recite historical events like a textbook, will never lose track of an important date again.

its all they had in limbo. he didnt want to forget for good.

he's still scared, if they're being honest. scared that their sacrifice was for nothing. scared that his family will be destroyed again and again for the sick pleasure of some fucking guy. scared that he'll be used again. scared that they'll hurt the people they care about again. but for now they're okay, they have a team and a family and a second chance.

ranboo comes back and theyre okay, honestly. they move into the mansion with his husband and child. he thanks techno again and again for saving his son. for saving him. techno doesnt accept the thanks, he should've done more. he talks with tommy about limbo, and about grief. they visit their own graves and they grieve. for one another, for themselves. it washes over them in waves. tubbo still waits for the other shoe to drop, for his husband or himself to turn into a maniac and blow the server to bits, but it doesnt come. it won't come. its not the same, it cant be, but its good for the first time in a long time.

maybe the other shoe doesn’t have to drop. maybe sometimes people can come back and maybe they can be okay.

Warnings: obsession, bad foreshadowing, violence?

In all honestly, if alastor had ran into you again before disappearing he would have made a deal with you

You intrigued him in a way that he hadn’t felt in years, the familiarity he felt towards you almost made him nostalgic

But let’s say he did offer you a deal on the day you met

It would be something similar to your deal with vox, your soul in exchange for food, water, shelter and protection

He’d give you a small cottage away from the city and close to the cannibal colonies, somewhere where you could live without the worry of being hurt or killed

Your fridge would always be stocked with food every week and you had all the things you could need in the cottage with you

Now you expected there to be a huge workload after you found out what a prominent demon alastor was, but all you had to really do was be his assistant and help him with his broadcasts

You were his assistant for a few weeks before he disappeared and suddenly you were alone again

You were still taken care of in the essential ways, your always had food and water in your little cottage and Rosie checked up on the cottage once a week to make sure you were still alive and safe

But you were lonely, so you started to help out Rosie in the cannibal colony every now and again

And you continued like that for seven years, until alastor finally returned

Rosie had let you know about his return and warned you that he would call on you soon and not to ask him to many questions

It was whiplash for you, one minute you were making some tea in the kitchen and the next you were standing in the hotel lobby with a look of shock

Alastor introduced you to everyone and informed you that you’d be staying at the hotel with him to help Charlie with her vision

You were mainly there to help alastor and be his entertainment, but you did help nifty with chores and even cooked meals for everyone

Charlie was ecstatic to have a younger soul with them and claimed that you’d be perfect for redemption

Her girlfriend, vaggie, on the other hand was extremely cautious around you since you were associated with alastor

Husk knew of you from whispers from some of the other souls alastor owned

At first he pitied you since he knew what it was like to be leashed by alastor, and then he saw how much alastor favoured you and treated you much nicer than he treated any of his other souls

Husk couldn’t help but feel bitter of the fact that he was in a much worse situation than you, but he eventually grew to like you since he understood you were practically a kid compared to him and he wouldn’t wish his fate on anyone

You and angel wouldn’t be as close as you were if you were the Vs pet, but you’d both still be friends

Alastor wouldn’t be fond of sharing you with the rest of the hotel since you were there to be his entertainment, but when he made comments about it and gave you an unnecessary workload he got a very harsh scolding from Rosie

I believe that alastor would become like a mentor to you, almost fatherly but not too much

It’s canon that alastor would be a terrible father but a great mentor so I could see him teaching you how to use your power to its full extent and he’d like combining your powers together

I like to imagine that when you and alastor combine your abilities then it would start off as a 1920s jazz music sound and would contain techno beats when you join in

Your relationship with alastor would be almost parallel to yours and vox if you were the Vs pet

It would be less cruel and you’d be much happier, but there would still be a hint of obsession in the relationship

Alastor would definitely be somewhat possessive of you in a certain way, the same way a male deer is protective of its children

He’d like getting to know you and finding out what the connection was between you to

The Vs would absolutely despise you since you were associated with alastor and the first time they met you was through one of Vox and alastors fights

So overall I think you’d be much happier and safer with alastor but that doesn’t exclude you from still feeling like a pet

But at least with this path, you’d have a chance at redemption for you

That’s if alastor didn’t drag you back from the pearly gates by a leash

“And this little dear is my darling assistant” is the first thing you hear as your pulled from the shadows, you could recognise that voice anywhere.

One minute you were stood in your lovely kitchen and now your stood trying to take in what seems to be a hotel.

You try and hide your surprise as you turn to find your owners crazed grin staring down at you.

“What am I doing here alastor?” You question with a confused tone. You know you shouldn’t question him, Rosie had warned you against it, but you couldn’t help your curiosity “where have you been?”

Alastors eye twitches in what seems to be irritation as he stares down at you, you could see a cat demon behind alastor wince in what looked like fear before alastor wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

“Nevermind that, my little doe” alastor says with an over exaggerated laugh “I’ve brought you here because Charlie here has an idea to redeem demons, truly laughable I know but I’ve taken it upon myself to help her achieve this pipe dream”

Alastor laughed with radio static as a background before turning you to look at him once again.

“And I knew I wouldn’t be able to do it without my dearest little fawn” alastor said with a grin as his claws pinched your cheek in what could be seen as threatening or playful, you gave up guessing a long time ago “so from now on you’ll be staying here and helping me with this hotel, okay dear?”

You simply nodded at his question, knowing you had no grounds to refuse your owner. You had to play the loyal pet once again.

“Perfect” alastor said with pep in his tone as he let go of you and face you in the direction of the bar “now run along and get to know the others while I talk with Charlie about your rooming arrangements, I’ll call you back when I need you”

You nodded as you begin walking to the bar and you take a seat next to an extremely tall spider man who eyes you with curiosity. You’re in front of the cat demon from earlier who also regards you with intrigue.

“Hi” you say almost shyly as your ears remain pinned against your head, you hadn’t talked to someone other than Rosie or alastor since you made your deal and this entire experience was outside your comfort zone.

“Heya toots” the spider demon spoke unsurely as he looked down at you “where’s smiles been keepin’ you then?”

“Hm?” You make a questioning sound as your head tilts in a confused manner

“He means he’s not seen you around, no one has” the cat demon clarifies with a gruff tone “it’s weird for alastor not to cash in on a favour from his souls, angel here wants to know where alastors been keepin’ you”

“Oh” you say with a confused look “I don’t think he’s kept me hidden exactly”

“Well I only heard about you through whispers, but I assumed it was just rumours” husk responds gruffly “no one knew alastor had an assistant until a few days ago when he mentioned bringing you here”

“Didn’t think smiles had it in him” the spider, angel, comments before looking you up and down “your a bit young for him though, don’t ya think husk”

Husk nods cautiously as he takes in your appearance, you couldn’t have been been more than eighteen.

“It’s not like that” you assure with a mildly disturbed face at the thought of the insinuation

“Than what are you to smiles toots?” Angel asked curiously “because he certainly seemed fond of you”

You think for a moment on how to explain your connection with alastor before speaking cautiously

“Well, I’m his-“ you were about to answer but alastors call interrupted you.

“My dear” alastor called for you “don’t you think it’s time you and I set up for a broadcast”

You nod as you abandon the two demons to walk beside alastor on his way to his radio station, like a loyal mutt being called back into the house.

“I think it’s time I show that pesky TV that radio still lives” alastor comments as he puts his hand on your shoulder and guides you “and with my perfect little assistant, I’m sure my broadcast will be as great as ever”

Honestly though like if you're following Philza you should get used to the fact that since the dawn of him streaming RP people have violently disliked his reaction to any angst beats because like, the cc finds angst rp funny and is also a very giggly guy. And if you're here for drama and tragedy it looks like he's not taking the pain seriously, which is obviously going to be something you don't like seeing. Trust me. We have been here before. I have watched DSMP. There were people saying he didn't take Techno's IRL death seriously enough because he was positive on stream. Like, this is top five things people get mad at cc!phil and his characters for, after "breaks the fourth wall" and "is an imperfect person/parent" and "idk his vibes just grate and I read them as Bad y'know".

I personally think that like the fact that he was repeatedly saying to the eggs that they were gonna get Tubbo back, they'll bring him back with the create wrench cause he cares about create, don't worry it'll all be okay; that was all evidence that the character does care about Tubbo and for heaven's sake, if you want angst, read that as denial and you're fully comfortably in one of the recognized stages of grieving. I was making jokes the day people in my life died, this is also one of the ways people deal with loss. But I also see why that's a POV clash if you wanted a more straightforward depiction of grief and angst? Phil was pretty far from being in tears, which is what some people think was warranted. So like, sure, if you've been watching a specific perspective, Phil's reaction was trivializing. I can see that perspective as well.

It is not fun to see someone calling your POV "vile" and "heartless" and "too selfish to consider other people" and the other delightful stuff that I just saw on a scroll through the tag, but like, that's just POV clash, you gotta let people have their own opinions and block the neg tags and maybe block people who are being really loud. Sincerely, it does nobody any good to go beefing about people being mean about your favourite cubito. Post careful lore exploration on your own blog if you want but doing replies, sending anons, all of that is the way down which A Bad Time lies. Sincerely like, this has happened before, this will happen again, just go listen to good music or something and ignore it.

I wouldn't call it drama, it's way more serious than that. Honestly I've drawn too much art for mcyt and I currently do not have the mental energy to go through all of them. So no, I probably won't take them down. I treat art like a time capsule of progress and all of my animatics are of the character, and pretty disconnected from him as a creator. Many of them also contain Techno, and I don't want to take my videos of him down. But I don't fuck with Wilbur Soot, I've disowned my art of him. Heart goes out to Shelby I hope shes doing well

c!phil was going through his own personal hell and couldnt do shit about it. Ppl always saying phil was too mean to ghostbur or some shit- ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THE SAME GUY? The man who murdered his ONLY blood relative in thousands of years only for this twisted sickly sweet version to pop out without a single memory of anything. Sharing the same face, same voice, and the wound phil had made. And phil had to just suck it up and be polite to him

and you cant even say that "oh but phil wasnt sad during this time tho" HE WROTE A BOOK WHEN GHOSTBUR ASKED HIM TO WRITE ONE FOR HIS LIBRARY ABOUT HOW DEPRESSED HE WAS. He tried to be so SO polite and get away from having to see him all the time so he wouldnt blow up on this ghost version. He was barely keeping it together during the time he was reconstructing and when he was with techno

And then he gets locked in his own home for not selling out his friend to execute in front of him and has to burn his leg cuffs off on a magma block. And he just sucks it up and decides he can take it ! ((obviously techno did NOT take phil's treatment as well as phil himself did but-))

the only time he opened up to another person about this was with ranboo basically confessing that he cannot stop thinking about that day he killed him basically reliving it daily and then- shoving his feelings aside ONCE AGAIN oh and when he lost his wings! and repeatedly tried to get himself off the ground and just kept failing. The way he confesses that he feels so used by everyone around him EXCEPT techno. His devotion to techno goes so far to ALLOW him the permission to use him like some object because he loves him so dearly

AND THEN- HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH SAM- FUCK this guy he immediately becomes so alert around the moment they interact like he has to be prepared to fight or run because of their history together that hurt each other deeply. Sam telling him that phil NEEDS him becoming downright possessive of him because he had begun to idolize a version of phil that would be proud of him for breaking the laws of life itself. Something phil has told to sam directly that his immortality is not a blessing, and something sam should not desire

nevermind guys i think c!phil should have killed more people honestly- how that guy kept it together for so long to be less of an inconvenience to everyone is insane

They're both survivalists; they care about getting enough nutrients into their bodies to keep fighting, but I don't think either of them care much about flavor.

what do you think rivalsduo r like in the kitchen? Can they cook or r they forced on 'occasionally stirring the pot' duty?

alright i have thoughts about this.

i think cDream can't cook for shit like he has none of those home life abilities, the best he can do is meat he puts over a fire. he's hopeless but at least he has the reflexes to not burn or cut himself.

cTechno can cook but he's not the best chef either. he likes potatoes and stews and he likes making jams and drying meat. he actually can make somewhat of a meal though.

honestly it's the best for both of them if they're given instructions to follow :D
