Literally one of my favorite moments is Techno going out to get more wood, and Tommy nervously murmuring “oh, not that way, not..” and Techno is confused before saying, “what? oh, your house is [pointing in a different direction] over there, it’s fine, it’s fine. it’s fine!”
And Tommy yelling “Wait for me!” after him.
OK OK BUT THERE IS ONE THING I DON'T SEE ANYONE TALKING ABOUT
and it's how tommy insists on following techno, even announcing it everytime techno goes anywhere
i've noticed that ever since they teamed up, multiple times during the stream tommy repeats along the lines of "i'm going to follow you techno, ok?". like he needs the reasurrence technoblade won't leave him behind..... like everyone else did

can't wait for dream and Michael to be found in the convict childcare au and they have to deal with the fact that Michael is very attached to their very fucked up admin who has killed children before. how the hell do you respond to that man
Well, so c!Dream and Michael are found by the syndicate at separate times. Basically, Dream gets the fuck out and his first order of business is getting as far away from the main SMP as possible. He finds a safe bastion, gets them to take in Michael, and leaves. Not just the bastion, but also the nether to prevent anyone else searching for him from finding the bastion.
There's a lot of stuff that happens in the middle, but eventually after finding Dream, explaining and being given directions, c!Tubbo and c!Techno show up at the bastion to get Michael. And...
Michael doesn't recognize Tubbo anymore. Not really. He has, at best, some faint recollections of him. Tubbo and Ranboo were only his family for a year at most, and Michael has spent at least 6 months away from the both of them at this point. That's a huge amount of time for a toddler. Hell, Tubbo barely recognize Michael between the healing that XD did and the fact Michael got taller.
Hell, Michael actually almost refuses to go with Tubbo, because Dream had told him to stay at the bastion. It's only because Techno thought ahead and brought a piece of Dream's clothing (to prove to the bastion that they were sent by him) that Michael is willing to follow them. When they rejoin the others (including Dream whose being helped by c!Phil and c!Niki b/c he's really Having A Bad Time), Michael goes straight back to Dream's side and doesn't want to leave. Despite Dream directly trying to push him back towards Tubbo.
It's rough for everyone involved, but as much as Tubbo has very complicated feelings around Dream, he's not... upset? Angry? Blaming? Towards him. First and foremost is just that Dream is in such a bad state physically that it's hard to view him as a threat. It's also been around two years since the "final" confrontation, and Tubbo's had a lot of time to cool off and reflect on the stuff that happened.
I think the thing, more than anything else, that shapes Tubbo's opinion of the situation is that Michael isn't underweight. Not even a bit. The kid's gotten taller, but he's still plump like a toddler should be. Tubbo can physically feel Michael's weight in his arms as he carries him, and it's a stark contrast to Dream whose clearly severely malnutritioned.
Tubbo might have serious issues with Dream, but ultimately he's able to notice and acknowledge that Dream managed to keep Michael alive and relatively well taken care of for months despite the horrible circumstances he was under. He's able to feel confident that Dream isn't going to suddenly hurt Michael, and that helps a lot moving forward. The easy relationship between Techno and Dream helps a lot too. Plus the fact that they were going to need Dream to revive Ranboo anyways (although it's a little while before that happens on account of Dream's poor physical state), it all just sorta... works out? Sort of?
The bigger emotional issue for Tubbo is the fact that Techno (and by extension the syndicate) are sheltering Dream at the very least until he's recovered, which is looking like a several month long process given the level of damage. This is good for Michael because it allows for him to readjust to Tubbo and later Ranboo as his parents, while still having Dream present to help out. It's absolute hell on Tubbo because it's the straw that breaks his already very fragile relationship with c!Tommy. Tubbo is choosing to help shelter Dream, something that the rest of the server is aware of but doesn't really understand. There are physical conflicts over it, and Tubbo stands quite loyally with the syndicate both based on his own moral belief that what Sam did was abhorrent and because of what Dream did for Michael. It's rough emotionally.
Also, like, the surrealism of trying to coparent with the guy who you have fought wars against, whose absolutely not qualified to be a parent but had literally no say in the matter, and whose struggling through a lot of pretty severe mental issues including ones directly related to the child you're coparenting is... a lot. Michael is still dependent on Dream for quite awhile after breaking out, and after his experiences with Sam it takes a lot longer for him to warm up to the other adults. Meanwhile, Dream still is not in any condition to raise a child, but has a lot of ingrained protective instincts towards Michael that he's now got to stifle since he's no longer under Sam's control.

SUGAR RUSH AU CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS
this is. Very long.
Ranboo (Aka Ranboo Le Quorish)
Candy: Licorice and Taffy !
Powermove: String-Shot
A speed boost that starts fast and gets gradually slower - two licorice poles shoot up from the ground while a string of taffy wraps around them, acting as a sling shot to propel him forward!
Racer type: ??
Go to phrase:
Description:
Ranboo is a racer- at least he thinks he is. Sure he’s never completed a race and glitches the ones he is in but he can’t escape the nagging feeling that he belongs on the race track. That things will be better once he proves that he can finish a race.
For now, however, he’s learning how to be content with his foggy memory, constant glitched state, and watching from the side lines. It’s all he can do after all.
Tubbo (aka Toby Jollypop Jr)
Candy: Green apple Jolly Ranchers and Jaw Breakers
Powermove: Jolly Rollers
A protective shield that forms around Tubbo’s Kart to temporarily make him invincible and causes other players to bounce off
Racer type: Tank
can take a lot of damage at the expense of speed
Go to phrase(s): “Let’s break some jaws!” / “Sugar!”
Description:
Tubbo has a good life. He places well in races, he has a best friend, a nice house, really anything a video game character can ask for. But he can’t shake the feeling of something being wrong. And all signs point to the figure who disappears mid race after messing something up.
With enough determination, and some would argue carelessness, he is determined to figure out who the glitch really is. And more importantly, he’s determined to help him.
Tommy (Aka Tommy Sowers)
Candy: Sour Patch Kids
Powermove: Sour-Sweet-Swift
A basic speedboost! He maintains a higher speed for a short amount of time - its extended the further behind he is
Racer Type: Starter Racer
A type exclusive to Tommy. It makes him available on easy mode at all times (booting out the 9th spot if not on the roster already) Overall he’s a very well rounded but middle ground racer who is assisted by who he races with
Go to phrase(s): “Patch up your karts and let’s get sour!” / “Spice!”
Description:
Tommy is a racer in every meaning of the word. He likes competition, he’s loud and energetic, and he always seems to be going. Tommy loves his life and doesn’t get why others wouldn’t. He gets along with everyone, and wouldn’t mind if everything stayed the same.
Wilbur (aka Wilbur Cin O’Spice)
Candy: Cinnamon Discs
Powermove: Cinnamon and Spice
Wilbur throws up a cloud of spices temporarily blinding nearby racers
Racer type: Skill required
A moderate to eh racer when not properly used, but an amazing one to a devoted player. Has great handling, the kart flows through shortcuts easily, and power move is useful when applied right
Go to phrase: “Let’s spice things up!”
Description:
Wilbur is analytical, if you ask him he was simply coded that way. Always trying to find the best route and path, and figuring out solutions. It’s what he’s known for! So when Phil retired unexpectedly, giving no answers nor reason, Wilbur has determined that it’s now his job to find out why. More importantly, to get him back.
Techno(blade)
Candy: strawberry bon-bon (strawberry granny-candy)
Powermove: Straw-brawl
Temporarily gains more spikes on his kart, making him harder to hit and causing more damage to others
Racer type: Tank
can take a lot of damage at the expense of speed
Go to phrase: less lines - more so lots of noises like HEH when he gets hit and laughter when he hits others
Description:
Techno loves a good challenge, and as of recently races have been lacking. He doesn’t find the same enjoyment that he used to back before Phil stopped racing. So instead, he focuses on studying. Namely other games, but really anything he can study will do. He claims he’s read countless books from around the arcade, and will gladly give the information out if asked.
Phil
Candy: Green Peppermint Candy Canes
Powermove: ?
Racer type: ?
Go to phrase: ?
Description:
Phil used to be a racer. Arguably the best racer in the game prior to his retirement. After disappearing mid race, and not coming back until a week later he made a simple announcement. He would be stepping down as the leader of the racers and wouldn’t be racing for an undisclosed amount of time. Anytime anyone begged for the whys or whats, his lips were sealed, and still are.
Dream
Candy: Toxic Waste and Juicy Drop Pops
Powermove: Toxic Sludge
His kart lets out a liquid that causes racers behind him to slow down, it disappears after a short amount of time
Racer type: Speedy
Fastest karts at the expense of less handling and can't take a lot of punches
Dream has the fastest kart
Go to phrase(s): “Oh come on now- Smile!” / “Some people just can’t handle their sour candy”
Description:
Dream is the new leader of the Sugar Rush racers. When Phil disappeared he noticed how disorganized everything became and jumped to fix it, figuratively keeping the game running during hours. When Phil returned and didn’t take back the position, no one had any opposition to him staying. Dream runs the game democratically, seeing himself as someone to enforce rules rather than solely make them, and he tries his best to make sure everything is fun and perfect for the racers.
Sapnap
Candy: Red Hots
Powermove: Too Red-Hot to Handle
A speedboost that involves flames bursting out of Sapnap’s exhausts speeding him up until they burn out and he slows down quickly
Racer type: Well-rounded
Doesn’t have a particular strength or weakness - just well rounded!
Go to phrase(s): “BOOM BABY!” / “If you can’t handle the heat - get off the track!”
Description:
One of Dream’s closest friends, prior to Phil’s retirement, he was known as a dedicated and passionate racer. Now he’s one of the most trusted advisors for Dream, letting his opinions be heard with a blunt yet passionate emotion-fueled manner.
George
Candy: Blue Raspberry Gummy Rings
Powermove: [unnamed - send in suggestions!]
Temporarily gains the ability to bounce off of objects / racers rather than hitting and slowing down- repeated bouncing also causes a small speed boost
Racer type: Skill required
A moderate to eh racer when not properly used, but an amazing one to a devoted player. Has great handling, the kart flows through shortcuts easily, and power move is useful when applied right
Go to phrase(s): "I could beat you in my sleep!” / “Guess I’ll have to bounce back”
Description:
Dream’s other closest friend, standing in opposition to Sapnap, George could be amazing if he tried at racing a bit more. He’s known for sleeping in and showing indifference towards most things. Though for Dream, he knows George provides an analytical and logical thought process that can’t be beat.
Fundy
Candy: Candy Corn and Caramel
Powermove: Trick or Treat!
Fundy throws a random item from his cart that looks noticeably self made - sometimes it’s catastrophically bad, sometimes it just helps him, and other times it actually might assist a racer nearby !
Racer type: ??
Mysteriously - Fundy’s stats seem to change every so often though, surely it's just people remembering wrong?
Go to phrase(s): “Stay crafty and stay ahead!” / “Clever as a fox and just as sweet!”
Description:
Jack of all trades - master of none suits Fundy relatively well if you don’t take coding into account. Fundy used to be Phil’s advisor on coding when he was the leader, but since his retirement and Dream’s decline of Fundy’s offer to be his advisor, he’s picked up new hobbies. He fiddles and invents things, including messing with his own kart.
With experience that no one else has but his own reservations, Fundy has his own opinions on what’s going on in Sugar Rush.
EXTRA CHARACTERS
Kristin (non-racer)
Description: Bartender at a different video game called Tapper - her and Phil grew close during his break from racing and are now dating. She doesn’t play a big role in the story I just wanted to add her because they’re so sweet.
Jack Manifold (aka Jack Manifold)
Candy/sweet: Bomber pops
Powermove: [send in name suggestions}
Not so much a temporary boost as it is that when you fall off the map with Jack - instead of dying you’re placed back on the track!
Racer type:Speedy
Fastest karts at the expense of less handling and can't take a lot of punches
Go to phrase(s): “The Manifold always comes back!” “Bombs away!”
Description:
Minor rival to Tommy - just designed him because I wanted to. Does have his own track though - it’s cold / ice cream themed.

Tommy’s character and the theme of failure
One thing I’ve always rather appreciated about Tommy’s story in the Dream SMP is how it explores the idea of failure. It can be a challenging one to do right as it means exploring a character’s weakness a lot and can start to feel unsatisfying if the character never succeeds but I feel like Tommy’s story avoids this issue as his arc is ultimately an encouraging one. His character never stops trying or gives up in spite of his losses, showing the perseverance to keep going until eventually he starts to find happiness, no matter how elusive it seems.
Tommy’s character is no stranger to failure of course but I’d say this theme starts to become prominent with November the 16th. Tommy had two goals: to save L’Manberg and to save Wilbur. He was pretty optimistic about both. And he failed. The day ended in disaster with Wilbur dead, Technoblade, his idol, mocking his heroism and telling him to die, and his home in ruins. It takes him a long time to come to terms with who Wilbur was, separating Wilbur into two in his mind: President Wilbur and the ‘crazy’ Wilbur who blew up L’Manburg.
But Tommy continues on, quietly moving on as L’Manburg gets rebuilt. No matter what, he still believes in L’Manburg; it’s still alive. Also, he wants to finally get his remaining disc back from Dream, feeling the need to do this after putting it aside for so long.
But of course, things don’t go well. That which he had taken for granted, his bond with Tubbo, was under fire. His personal wish to get his discs back was causing division. A simple prank gone wrong was tearing everything apart as Dream threatened L’Manburg once again. None of these things were purely Tommy’s actions, and yet his actions played a part all the same as Dream essentially took advantage of all of Tommy’s weaknesses. Tommy was being viewed as a liability, a troublemaker, as self-centred, as a problem.
Tommy’s character likely blamed himself somewhat for his failure with Wilbur and L’Manburg the first time but it had been out of his hands and his reactions were more shock than being truly broken by the events and he kept up his optimism. Yet this time, the problems were not things far beyond his control. It seemed it was his own mistakes spelling his doom and it impacted him quite severely. As much as he recognised Dream as an antagonist here, his friends distrust of him was his failure. Despite his best efforts, he could not convince Tubbo not to exile him.
Rather than seeing the fairly resilient, optimistic Tommy like the first time he was banished, this time Tommy’s defeated. We see the full effects it takes on his mental state and the narrative does not pull its punches. Tommy’s already depressed and we start to see evidence of suicidal thoughts very quickly. This is all made far, far worse by Dream who encourages his dark thoughts and feelings of worthlessness, telling him everyone’s better off without him while breaking his spirit and making him miserable by repeatedly blowing up his items.
Dream was of course Tommy’s enemy, he’d recognised before that what Dream had been doing to L’Manburg, with the obsidian walls and insisting on banishing Tommy, had been unfair even if Tommy had been helpless to stop him. Yet over exile we see him really start to internalise Dream’s words, starting to really believe that narrative that he is unloved and a liability, despite his best efforts. As his mental state worsens we see him starting to believe Dream’s lies so much that he begins to believe that Dream is really his friend who cares about him. Meanwhile, he’s angrier and lashing out at the people he cares about, we seem him kill Jack, break the bridges he built and generally lashing out at the people he misses the most.
So through exile, we see Tommy at his weakest and most vulnerable. We also see some of his flaws with his uglier side, his uncontrolled emotions, his dependency on others, his deep self-worth issues and how he can be so successfully lied to. This deep exploration of Tommy’s character allows us to really see how the repeated failures and setbacks and losses affected his character mentally and depict it as yet another obstacle he needs to overcome.
And ultimately he does, ultimately deciding to fight back and run away from exile on his own. Tommy’s arc goes to very depressing places but manages to remain an inspiring story by showing you at his weakest and yet also show him never truly giving up but pressing on, in search of that happy ending. Running away from exile has him also realising that Dream is his enemy, not his friend and he commits to fighting back against him.
But of course the narrative doesn’t entirely move on. Tommy’s struggles and failures continue to plague him as the mental issues he has with self-worth and his confused feelings towards Dream do not go away. He managed to continue but that wasn’t the perfect victory as most of his problems are still there and he’s still the same person. at Techno’s house, we see him and his confusion. He’s lighthearted and joking about but he’s still deeply troubled without a clear stance on Dream or L’Manburg or Tubbo and he clings to the idea of the disc as a simple goal. It seems as if he’s doomed to become the person he hated or make the same mistakes again. He once failed to save Wilbur and it seems as if his greatest failure would be to go down Wilbur’s path too, blowing up the country he once loved.
And Tommy nearly goes too far. He finally meets Tubbo again and his anger, his issues all come back as does some self-centred behaviour as he declares that ‘the discs are worth more than you ever were’.
And he immediately regrets it. He apologises, he turns around and gives them up to Dream. He won’t let himself turn into Wilbur.
And yet, every little victory he fights so hard for is met with an even greater failure. He switches sides on Technoblade while giving Dream exactly what he wanted. His story isn’t a happy one in spite of him trying his very best and making the decisions that are right for him. And we can only wonder how inevitable it was or if he could’ve done better for he hurts Techno deeply. Is he doing better or does his very nature doom him to make the same mistakes again and again?
Once ore, we see L’Manburg blown up and this time Tommy declares it a lost cause. Despite his best efforts, it’s over and we can only stare at the ruins of the nation he’d once helped build with Wilbur. Additionally, Tommy is dead to Techno now, that relationship seemingly broken forever.
But it’s not the end. Tommy is defeated once more, with each failure hitting harder than the last but he doesn’t give up. He keeps on fighting. For all he’s lost, he’s won Tubbo back, and the experiences may have been terrible but he has learned something through all of it. Even if all that is, is understanding suffering a bit better and getting back the courage to apologise and reconcile.
He and Tubbo go after Dream and it’s almost, almost too late. He’s nearly locked in prison forever and Tubbo almost killed.
But it’s not end. Just this once, it’s not a failure. They bet it all and finally had that victory. The rest of the server comes to save them and Dream gets locked in his prison while Tommy and Tubbo are finally free.
Course, Tommy’s story isn’t over there. And the thing with this theme of failure is that it keeps on cropping up. They may have finally gotten a victory but Tommy’s issues aren’t over. he tries to start again, building his hotel but the trauma from exile has made an impact on him. It’s something that can’t be solved in a day, but only over a long time. And despite everything, the issues keep coming back. Tommy feels like things are unresolved with Dream and visits him again.
And he gets locked in prison and dies and then gets resurrected. And its all absolutely devastating and it seems as if Tommy will never get better, that he’ll never truly have his happy ending. His hotel gets stolen from him and its as if everything he tries to do ends in failure.
He tries to sort things out, tries solving things with killing Dream and it just gets Ghostbur killed and the guilt can only eat at him. Wilbur is back at Tommy’s afraid but time has passed and he’s starting to see Wilbur more for who he is. After all he’s been through, he understands him way better than he did before. He once more commits to helping him but Tommy isn’t the naive kid he once was.
Tommy still lives in the very same spot he always did. He still wants the same things he always did: a home, security, peace, friends, and he’s been experiencing many losses. And yet, his story is not a hopeless one. Because in spite of all that’s happened, he’s still trying again. And he’s learned and can avoid making those mistakes again. Right now, he’s doing better, he’s committing to living peacefully in a way he hasn’t in a long time. He’s been attempting to build bridges and though all his failures haunt him, he is gradually healing day by day, still trying to find that happy ending.
I think Tommy’s story is very cool for the way it really explores these themes of failure. It does not pull its punches, its dark, never easy or straightforward but that’s also what makes it so powerful. Those bright spots, feel so good, they feel so rewarding because they were so hard-fought. We root for Tommy’s character because we’ve seen his journey and really feel he deserves his happy end even though its never going to be perfect and indeed every failure is a mixture of forces outside of his control and his character which he has been trying to improve, learning to be nicer, more forgiving and more aware of his own emotions. He can’t fix Dream nor does he know how best to help Wilbur but he can help himself and that’s what he’s always trying to do. He holds himself to account and always tries his best.

“Humans are [add text here]”
Chapter 3: A Wild Crow Father has Appeared
Phil wasn’t expecting to be returning to Planet A112 so soon but Wilbur had sent a distress signal and that was the Dream Team Craft’s next stop.
The planet itself stood as a port market place. There were many of these planets around the galaxy, but it was probably the more popular ones for criminal ships and such. Poachers and Scientists alike came here to get supplies to take the biggest beasts in the galaxy, Humans.
Phil never understood the appeal, but both of his sons had gained that sort of adventurous aspect that he had lost so many celestial years ago. He assumed the only reason people ever chased the creatures was to fill their pride.
That was the exact reason Techno had joined the poacher ship three years ago. He only returned when it had crashed three months ago. To this day he has yet to reveal what horrors had gone on the ship.
Wilbur had another reason to go after the infamous creatures. His crave for knowledge was eating him up as was for most scientists. He joined the Dream Team Craft only six months ago and was already heading back to the SBI Craft.
Techno was pacing around the marketplace studying different weapons and supplies. Phil had been standing off to the side, leaning on one of the building walls. Every once and a while he would check his communicator to see where Wilbur was. Thankfully he had turned on his location so Phil could easily watch as he made his way through the maze-like market.
“Is he getting close?” Techno asked running low on patience.
“He’ll be here in two minutes or so.” Phil bit his lip, “You can head back to the ship, I don’t mind waiting for him.”
“I am not leaving you. Prime knows what Wilbur brought back this time.” Techno replied. Wilbur always had a knack for bringing back things he found interesting. This wasn’t the first time he had left the SBI Craft. This would be the 37th since he turned 14. Now he was 24 and the Craft had been designed to handle whatever he brought back. There was a holding room fit for literally any species, a mechanics room full of technology he gained an interest in. A garden and a gardener which was also retrieved by Wilbur. And of course Wilbur’s pride and joy, the laboratory.
“If you want mate..” Phil said, shaking his head.
Not even two minutes later he saw Wilbur coming from the middle of the crowd. He was carrying what looked like a hurt child.
“Well this should be interesting.” Techno mumbled as he spotted Wilbur.
Once the phantom saw them he strode over and they made their way over to him.
“What do you have this time mate?” Phil asked, curiosity filling him to the brim with questions.
“Someone I can’t explain till we get to the ship.” Wilbur states with a tone he had never heard from his son.
After a second of standing awkwardly they had come to a silent agreement to head to the ship.
It took less than five minutes. Wilbur was half sprinting to the lab before Techno’s assistant had even registered that Wilbur was back. Phil gave a quick greeting to the gardener and assistant before following Wilbur to the medical part of the lab. He almost fainted when he saw what was laying on the medical bed.
“I know it looks bad, but I couldn’t help myself.” Wilbur said apologetically, “I know you’re gonna want answers but I really don’t have a lot of time before serious damage is done to him. I’ll explain after I fix him up.” He glanced up with a face full of sincerity.
Phil sighed pushing aside any fatigue and collecting his thoughts. “How can I help?” He states without an ounce of shown-fear in his voice.
Wilbur took a moment before answering. Prime the silence was loud. “Keep everyone out of the lab, and set up another room.. that would be great.” Wilbur said. The worry in his voice was apparent, but Phil said nothing of it. Instead he started on the tasks that came with being the captain of the craft.
——————
He woke up to LED lights blinding him. Tommy blinked a bit before sitting up.
He was sitting on what appeared to be a hospital bed. An IV was attached to his wrist and there were strange alien restraints attached to his legs but not to his wrists. That would be a mistake if he knew how to take the sticky black cuffs off. Which he didn’t. Plus he was too weak to attempt.
He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and looked around. The bed was pushed into the back corner directly across from a window. There was no glass or plastic covering the window, only a shiny force-field looking thing. The window also was the length of the wall. To the right of the window was a little slot and shelf, clearly used to deliver food. To the left of the window was a place for a door. The only thing was there was no visible door, just more of the light blue painted wall. To the left of the space was a bunch of shelves with a bunch of weird toys, games, books, and puzzles. Across from that was a card table and two comfortable chairs. At the end of the bed was a bench looking thing in which the lid lifted up.
All in all the room was clearly used to keep people occupied while keeping a close eye on them. The inhabitants of the ship had prepared it so it could withstand most things. The furniture in the room had been nailed to the floor. The chairs could move either closer or farther from the table with whoever was sitting down using a strange contraption. None of the toys on the lower shelf could be eaten and all games and puzzles were on higher shelves. The books were also all hard covered. There were even plastic bookmarks in a small container next to the shelves. The window was clearly impossible to get through and looked like it would absorb whatever you threw at it. The food shelf had three mechanisms that wouldn’t be easy to get through. There were no vents or places to hide. It was very apparent they had done this sort of thing before.
The last thing Tommy looked for was a light switch. By some sort of luck he spotted it. It was a weird sort of dial thing that was right by the IV stand. It was currently at 100 and he then dialed it down to 35. It was dim enough to sleep but bright enough to see everything clearly. Not even five minutes later he fell into a deep sleep.
——————
“YOU BROUGHT A HUMAN?!” Tubbo yelled, fluttering his wings furiously, making him hover ever so slightly.
Ranboo swiftly put his hand on Tubbo’s shoulder pushing him back onto the ground. The enderian shifted anxiously making Techno ponder if he was also gripping Tubbo to keep himself grounded. Phil stood near Will expectantly. Wilbur shifted from foot to foot and rubbed his arm, yet kept his head up to look at everyone. Techno was leaning against his security desk, side eyeing the now asleep human.
“I knew you were stupid, I just didn’t know you were this stupid.” Techno stated without a hint of remorse. Wilbur scoffed before attempting to collect himself.
“I couldn’t just leave him there! It was a mission built for researching humans. Meaning they would be doing nasty experiments for prime knows how long!” Wilbur snapped, with a seriousness Techno hadn’t seen since Wilbur brought back the other children on the ship, “He is a kid. Not an adult that had nowhere to go and was doing prime awful things. He is a kid with no family, no home, and barely making it through the day. I read through his file and he has gone through awful shit. I wasn’t gonna let him die in misery too. If you don’t want him on the ship, then I will get myself my own ship.” Wilbur threatened with a tone not to be questioned. Techno took a moment to think through Will’s response before coming up with an answer.
“He can stay. As long as you keep him in line and take care of his rations. He is not to leave his room until we make sure he can do no damage. If anyone wants to visit him, you are either outside the window or I am present. No excuses.” Techno finished satisfied with his answer. Phil may have been the legal captain of the ship, but when it came to rules Techno was always the one to make them.
Phil nodded in agreement. The two children nodded aggressively, both of which clearly had no intention of going near the human’s holding cell. After a minute Wilbur nodded.
“Fine. If those are the rules I will comply.” Wilbur said, “I need to adjust some things, I will assume Techno will be coming with me?” He asked reluctantly.
“Yes.” Techno bluntly said.
“So be it.” Wilbur snapped. Techno just brushed it off as they headed towards the lab cells.
——————
Tommy was running through the forest on the edge of town.
It was his favorite trail and the only one his parents let him go on alone. Which cost a long series of promises and supplies he had to go with.
Usually he would be running on the trail for fun but this time it was a sprint home. He didn’t know what was wrong but he knew something was wrong. Especially when he saw the blue and red lights light up the evening sky.
“I didn’t do anything you bastards!!” His dad yelled over the sirens. They had him in cuffs repeating the Miranda rights to him as they pushed him into the back seat.
“What’s going on?” All Tommy could manage his throat was tight and he was struggling to hold back angry tears. He caught one of the officers' attention. She smiled softly.
“He got caught doing something bad to his wife.” She said sadly.
“What did he do?!” Tommy cried even louder this time tears slipped down his face. At this point the officer got more serious.
“I am not obligated to say.” She bit her lip before continuing, “Why don’t you go back to your parents?” She replied softly. This was the first time Tommy got angry, not annoyed or that childish angry. The kind of anger that makes you wanna burn the world down. It was a quick flash but enough to make him snap.
“You took my dad…. What did he do to my mom?” Tommy answered coldly. His answer clearly shook the officer.
“Aw kid, I- .. I am sorry.. he killed her.” Tommy already knew the answer. He shouldn’t have been surprised, but he was. He heard someone scream from far away. Maybe it was him, maybe someone else. They pushed him through a series of questions all of which he could barely answer. His mind was somewhere else. He couldn’t calm down. Everything was too much.
He woke up in a cold sweat. Tears were running down his face. His breath was rapid and uneven. He hadn’t had a dream like that for a couple of months, granted he barely slept. After a few shaky breaths he calmed himself enough to grasp where he was. He wiped the tears just in time for the spot where the door was to open.
In stepped Wilbur along with a really tall alien. The tall alien stood in front of the door as Wilbur rushed to Tommy’s bed. Tommy lost control of his breathing, barely calming down.
Wilbur grabbed his hands to which Tommy snapped his head towards the alien. “I want you to breathe with me okay?” Wilbur said softly. He moved Tommy’s hand to his chest and started taking deep breaths. After a minute Tommy managed to even his breath to Wilbur’s pattern. “Good, good. I am gonna take off your IV since you don’t need it anymore. After that I can get you some food and water, then we can talk alright?” Wilbur said, keeping his tone soft and slow. Tommy rubbed his eyes and nodded.
Wilbur took his arm, there was a small pinch then the IV was off. Wilbur quickly left and came back after about two minutes. Within those two minutes Tommy got a better look at the other alien.
The alien had light pink ruff skin with neat pink hair tightly braided. They were wearing a puffy cream shirt that was tucked into dark brown pants, which were tucked into black boots that went up to their knees. Their knees bent backwards and the boots were shaped weirdly, like they were built for hooves. They had hooves where their hands would be, that somehow had thumbs. They also had tusks poking out of their mouth. Along with blood red eyes that had white pupils. Their ears poked out of their hair and were both torn and pierced with gold earrings. They also had a gold chain necklace with a stone that resembled an Emerald. They also wore a black belt with a gold clip. Attached to the belt was an alien sword leaning against their right hip, on the other side was what resembled a gun.
Tommy swallowed down food that was threatening to come up. He waited patiently for Wilbur to come back, trying his hardest not to stare at the other alien.
“My name is Techno. He/him. Same with Wilbur and most of the crew. The only one who has other pronouns is Ranboo who goes by he/they.” Techno, stated bluntly. Tommy collected himself before responding.
“I am Tommy Innit, er- he/him.” Tommy finished with a shaky voice.
Luckily the awkward tension didn’t last long as Wilbur practically sprinted through the door, shoving Techno out of the way. He pulled a tray that was neatly folded out of the wall and put a glass of water and some food on a plate.
“Some parskey with hatatoes. It tastes good I promise.” Wilbur explained. He then went to grab something he left outside and sat at the card table. He put two plates down and Techno joined him. The door closed after that. There was no button or anything, it just closed. Tommy was a little baffled by it but looked towards the food put in front of him.
It was a white meat, similar to chicken, with a brown version of mashed potatoes. He looked over to the other two who were talking in a different language while eating the same food. With that Tommy decided it was okay to eat. Just like what it reminded him of, it tasted like chicken and mash potatoes with small differences. Like the meat was dryer and more salty and the potatoes were a little sour. Either way it was still good. He then drank the water. There was no odd taste this time so he assumed it wasn’t drugged.
Once he finished he attempted to listen in but was only met with a series of strange sounds. He gave up and pushed the tray away. Almost too quickly he fell into a deep sleep. He didn’t even notice when the visitors took their stuff and left.
——————
Ranboo poked at his food glancing up every once and awhile. The two crew members had returned from the human’s room and decided to finish their food with the rest of the crew. Everyone sat in a tense silence.
“So,” Phil clapped his feathered hands and turned towards Wilbur. “What do we know about the kid?” He asked.
“His name is Tommy Innit, pronouns he/him. He is 14 and was living on the run for six months. No family according to him and he’s allergic to nuts.” Wilbur answered.
“From what I can tell he isn’t super dangerous, just fearful. He already trusts Wilbur, somehow. Though I think it is due to Wilbur saving his life. It will be harder for the rest of us to gain his trust.” Techno added. Ranboo swiftly wrote the responses down, making sure to keep major notes.
The rest of dinner was uneventful and everyone awkwardly washed dishes and went to bed. Assumingly to sleep. Everyone except Ranboo that is. He couldn’t wash dishes due to his biology and he didn’t really sleep. Every time he tried the void would wake him up or he would go into a half-conscious state that the crew deemed as enderwalking.
So for what felt like the hundredth time they stayed awake laying in bed. This time however their mind was racing with thoughts. Traveling through situations that used to seem impossible before the human boarded the ship. Still curiosity was eating their insides.
With a half made up mind Ranboo shot up in bed. They stalked over to where the human was being held and peered into the window.
Almost instantly the human sat up. After yawning and getting into a position he was comfortable in he just stared at Ranboo making them incredibly uncomfortable.
“Who are you?” The human asked, Ranboo couldn’t remember his name.
“Oh! Uh, I am Ranboo.. I am kinda like an assistant, I-I guess.” Ranboo said, fidgeting with his fingers.
“Ah cool. I am the biggest man! Tommy Innit. You should be grateful to be in my presence.” The human practically flowed with confidence making Ranboo question if all humans were like this. He shook off the questions and turned back to the human who was now playing with the light monitor.
“So… what was your planet like?” Tommy asked, startling Ranboo a bit. “I-I mean you don’t have to answer of course.. just wondering..” the human stuttered. They took a moment to go through their thoughts, narrowing down what they could.
“I guess it was peaceful.. in a way.. no one really fell out of line. It was unified, creating a peaceful haven. It wasn’t like people couldn’t fall out of line it’s just they didn’t want to. M-most of them were content with the way they were… but if there was something wrong they would absolutely take any measure to destroy it.” Ranboo finished bitterly, trying to shake off his old hurt of how they treated him. “W-what about your planet?” Ranboo asked.
“Ah.. Earth is interesting to say the least… We don’t all follow the same rules. And there is a lot of falling out of line… But I guess that’s what gave it a certain charm and a certain aspect that made it brutal.” Tommy finished his serious tone melting in an instant, “But that’s there not here! I wanna know what everything is like.” He said looking at Ranboo with curiosity.
That’s how Ranboo created a bond with the strange blond creature. They bounced from topic to topic mainly ending with one of them going into a deep explanation of one thing or another. They talked until both of them ended up passing out sitting next to the window.

headcanons about where i think a bunch of dsmp characters came from before coming to the smp 👉🏻👈🏻
Tommy grew up on a web of sky islands where he learnt the ropes of capitalism and fraud, and was set to inheret Innit Enterprise until the unfortunate day when the idiot straight up fell off of the island and landed in a pool of water on the surface. He lived in the woods until he was probably about ten-ish, and that's when he met Wilbur. Wilbur gave Tommy a name, gave Tommy a home, and that's where he met Techno, Tubbo and Phil. While he immediately clung to Wilbur like a brother, and became Tubbo's best friend, Phil and Techno just kind of,,,,,, found him annoying. One day though, Tommy got bored of the domestic life and decided to make it big in the new SMP settlement by being the very capitalist he was born and bred to be.
Tubbo was from one of those caravan families that travel around in their old Volkswagens, pretending to be 60's hippies (which is where he gets his odd craving for hallucinogenics from, but we don't talk about it), but, as Phil said, he just kind of fell out of the car door onto the side of the road and just sat there until Phil picked him up. He lived with Phil, Wilbur and Techno, and later Tommy, and learned the ropes of scamming from the best. Although initially supportive of Tommy going on his own venture in the new settlement, he later followed him there just to make sure that he doesn't get himself into too much trouble. Plus, he almost immediately missed his best friend.
Wilbur grew up with Phil as the two explored the world together. Eventually, Phil came across Techno, and later Tubbo, and the four lived together. He sparred with Techno as a kid, made paper lanterns with Phil, and when he met Tommy, he treated him like a little brother, and his greatest trustee. He was supportive of Tommy and Tubbo going their own way and making a life for themself, but after hearing about the disc war, decided to step in and play big brother again to make sure he was safe. After failing to aid him in his capitalist endeavours, they, together, founded L'Manberg so that he could keep his friends and his family safe.
Dream has walked the world for centuries at this point, and for a lot of it, he's been bored, and kinda lonely. Eventually, he did meet some people, and they'd often test their skills in games of manhunt together. Later, Dream decided to give up the nomadic lifestyle and create a new settlement, which he egotistically named after himself, and his friends settled with him; others migrated to the bustling new settlement over time. But when people no longer found his settlement suitable for their needs in the world, he started going off the deep end and eventually cut all attachments, aside from an unhinged obsession with an obnoxious blonde teenager who has a deep bond with his friends and his music discs.
Techno grew up a scrappy young prince in a Piglin Kingdom, but, having a very sudden desire to instill anarchy, he destroyed the Kingdom from the inside out (but kept the royal attire for fashion reasons) and decided to live in the overworld, where he travelled the world and wanted to train to become a warrior of his own merit. He eventually became friends with Phil, and Phil kind of took him in as one of his own alongside Wilbur, who was of a similar age. He almost immediately got bad vibes off of Tubbo, and when he met Tommy, he kind of begrudgingly gave a shit about him. He spent a lot of time farming after Wilbur, Tommy and Tubbo left, and he came as soon as he caught a whiff of a rebellion who seeked to take out a government.
A long time ago, Dream had ventured to the end dimension in hopes of finding a new place to colonise and thrive in, but did not appreciate it's power. He felt threatened by it, and eventually he was able to close the connection between the overworld and the end dimension. However, Dream didn't account for an anomaly - and that was our friend Ranboo. He managed to make it out of the dimension just as it was closing, but briding the gap between dimensions made his psychological state erratic, and he began repressing memories. He, while travelling the world, had forgotten his home and sought out a new one that he later found in the SMP. Dream, having seen that Ranboo was an anomaly in the overworld initially tried to eliminate him, but instead found a use for him.
Wilbur wasn't a great dad to Fundy, and they didn't really talk after him and Sally split. Fundy grew up with Sally until Fundy was sent away to the SMP to start afresh, so that Sally could deal with unfinished business in private. He became friendly rivals with anyone who dared call him a furry, and was really surprised when Wilbur didn't come to the SMP for him, but instead for Tommy (mainly because he didn't know Fundy was there, but in his current mental state, he omits that to fit his personal narrative). Fundy still was allowed into L'Manberg, which rekindled their relationship a little, but it all started crashing following the election.
Sapnap wasn't born exactly, more or less created from fire by BBH in a ritual gone wrong, who decided to raise young Sapnap like his own son. Expressing early resistance to heat and fire, but a deep, unhinged desire to murder animals, BBH loved his son like any father should do, and raised him to be the best nuisance he could be. Later on, the two met Dream, and they would participate in their manhunt competitions together, and they eventually founded the SMP settlement as a collective.
Skeppy and BBH haven't been around for as long as Dream, but they've been around for a while. A long time ago, Skeppy found himself in the wrong cult at the wrong time, and ended up cursed. Except the curse felt more like a blessing, because he was cursed to be followed by a demon who he immediately formed a close bond with. They're incredibly protective over each other, will definitely do anything to be by the side of the other, and they are very aware that their lives are linked, but they don't mind.
I headcanon that George and Ponk lived together in a mansion in the woods, thriving in designer clothes and raking in cash money until they both met Dream. George went along with the manhunt stuff, but Ponk wasn't as interested in feats of strength as he was his weed and his essential oils. The two eventually decided to drop ship and try something new with the new SMP settlement, and the two split off so that George could, idk, go to bed? and Ponk could murder some cats and worship the Citrus Gods, I guess (and also have an ancestry.com arc?)

Wilbur’s character sheet for Apes Together Strong :D
Tumblr media
Name: Wilbur Flower Soot Minecraft
Age: 26
Gender: bigender
Pronouns: she/he
Appearance: tall as fuck, like way too tall, white, pretty pretty pretty, like if there was a competition ‘how conventionally attractive you are’ she wouldn’t win cause he’s too pretty, chestnut curly hair, dark brown eyes, sweaters, long flowing skirts, jeans, modest style (except when he dresses like a walking thirst trap)
Where from: born and raised in Danville CA
Family:
her birth family was straight up unpog, fundumentalist christians who beat him, did the whole soap for swearing routine and gave her up for adoption when she came out
Phil: took them in at 16, was the first to show them unconditional love without the beatings, was an amazing father to the point of her picking up his accent, but things started to go downhill when Phil got promoted at his job at Amicis, started appearing at home rarer and rarer, became more irritable, and started shutting them out
Techno: his identical twin, they had to do quite a bit of work on their relationship, including with therapists, to unlearn the toxic dynamic their birth family thrust upon them, and are closer than close, it’s inconceivable for them to lie to each other for anything but comedy and inconceivable to really fight for real, where one goes, the other follows, they are siblings your honour
Fundy: Phil adopted Fundy when they were 18, and the poor thing was so fucking scared of letting them in it took half a year to get him to open up, but when he did, he became the loveliest little brother Flow could wish for. Their relationship spoiled Wilbur and Techno decided to go work at Amicis after Phil’s run moment, and Wil misses him very much.
Tommy: Phil adopted Tommy when they were 21 in a transparent attempt to fix things up, which was a terrible idea, but Techno convinced Flower to play along cause the kid didn’t deserve to deal with their shit. Flow kinda didn’t much like Tommy at the start and was nice to him out of spite, but eventually the little menace wormed his way to her heart, and now he’s almost like her kid.
Friends:
has internet friends, mostly, doesn’t truly open up to any of them but manages to keep good relationships anyway because he’s good at listening
Skills:
being funny: trauma does that to people
cooking: phil taught him <3 doesn’t cook as much now, at work too much
guitar: she,,, she like music
writing: he likes to write character pieces
work: mostly the skill of handling paperwork and accounting, kinda hates both
video games: is a casual gamer, likes to play with Techno
Personality and character:
creative extrovert
strengths: determined, charming, curious, perceptive of emotions
weaknesses: controlling, easily emotional, vindictive, oblivious as to the cause of the emotions she perceives most of the time
yearning: to be an amazing sibling, be needed
goal: take down Amicis (personal), be by Techno’s side
dream: to live a normal life in an ideal world where neither he nor Techno would have to be hurt
fears: losing his family
insecurities: that she’s not enough, that she can’t keep those she loves near, to a lesser extent that she’s not a good person
beliefs: he refuses to label himself as anything but a communist, just to piss people off <3 otherwise, he believes in all people being equally deserving of basic decency such as food, medicine and shelter, in the abolishment of the state as a whole and all that good shit
what would she die for: his family

a ramble about power and corruption in the dsmp!
(note: i’m talking about the characters on the smp, not the cc’s themselves! this is all roleplay! i do love most of the characters on the smp as well, and technoblade is no exception, but i just wanted to talk about some things in relation to his character.)
(also, spoilers for the 1/6/20 streams. they’re pretty vague but. just in case y’know.)
Alright. Let’s talk about Technoblade, power, government, and corruption.
The existence of government is not necessary for the existence of power, and vice versa. They are not always equivalent. (Also; while I believe that power does corrupt, it does not always come from the government and this is something that Techno doesn’t usually acknowledge. This will be addressed more later.)
Power comes from recognition, from people recognizing and acknowledging that a person has power. It doesn’t come from a crown, as Eret would know (and as Dream made very clear to him), and it doesn’t come from a title, as Tubbo would know (and this was demonstrated especially during his presidency). Power comes from recognition.
Dream knows this. Aside from being the server’s admin (and basically god), Dream has power from the residents’ recognition that he does. He has very good weapons and people on his side who will support him, and so people recognize that he is a person with power and treat him as such (regardless of not being a part of government in any part of the server).
Tubbo, for example, did not have much power during his presidency due to the fact that he was not recognized as having power and did not have many powerful weapons or armor, things that would make him stand out from others. (This was the case with many of L’manberg’s residents.) Even though he held an important position in the government, he was not given the recognition that should come with such a position and was not regarded as a person with much power.
The difference I’m making between Tubbo and Dream? Dream, regardless of not being in any position of government (which, theoretically, he should not have power in), has more power than Tubbo, who is in a position of government (which, theoretically, he should have power in). The only reason as to why Dream hadn’t destroyed L’manberg by the 5th (of January) was because Tubbo had Tommy’s disc, which had been given value by several people and, because of this, gave the current possessor of the item power. When it was given to Dream, Tubbo lost the bit of power that he had and was no longer treated as having even a bit of it.
Having a position in government is not synonymous to having power.
Now, onto how this comes into relation to Techno.
Technoblade is one of the most powerful players on the Dream SMP. He has very strong weapons and armor as well as the backing of Dream and Phil (at present moment). He isn’t in any position of government, but because people recognize that he is powerful, he has power.
Though anarchy is, by definition, “a state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority”, it is not total freedom. Even in lawlessness, there is a hierarchy of power. Technoblade would have himself at the top (I will be ignoring the existence of Dream at present moment for the sake of this argument) to keep that anarchy in place. He’s mentioned on multiple occasions that absolute power corrupts absolutely, but even if the server was in anarchy, there would still be the existence of power, and he would be at the top to make sure that that anarchy remains. He is not exempt from the corruption of power, and that shows even in recent events of the DSMP; on two occasions he has shown that he will not hesitate to use the power that he has to force anarchy upon the server even while L’manberg’s government still exists and they do not wish for what Techno wants.
He uses his power to make sure that people listen to him and to try to stop them from (re)forming a government. He’s been corrupted by power just as much as anyone else on the server has, and the pretense that he hasn’t just because he isn’t in government is total bullshit.
The summary? Holding a government position is not synonymous to having power, total freedom doesn’t exist in anarchy (and there is still very much a hierarchy of power during its life), and corruption comes from power, regardless of its form.
I love Techno’s character, I really do, but he just doesn’t take into account that the shit he says about power corrupting people applies to himself just as well.

I am handing over my current character descriptions for the Apocalypse AU
Mianite:
A small, mostly abandoned kingdom, so old, run down, and lost to time that no one can remember what it was originally called. It’s mostly referred to as Mianite, as the followers of Mianite control most of the territory, though the name Ruxomar is one that may ring familiar to those familiar with its history. From the outside most of those within the kingdom are seen as raving cultists, so wanting for hope in the apocalypse that they devised their own deities to worship.
Mianite:
Followed by Tucker, Sonja, and Dec. They control most of the kingdom, as Dec also serves as the priest and is said to be able to communicate with any of the gods at any time.
Dianite:
Followed by Tom, Nadeshot, and the Modesteps. The Dianitees are mostly scattered on the outskirts of the kingdom, not at all being on good terms with the Mianite followers. Nade however is on pretty neutral terms with them and is more willing to work with them than the others, and therefore lives within the village, the space between him and the modesteps accounting for most of Dianite’s territory.
Ianite:
Followed by Jordan, who has quickly expanded his territory from a single home out near the docks to a large chuck of the outer village in the general area of the docks. He’s been in Mianite for a long time, not following either Mianite or Dianite, claiming to be on his own team, and even managing to stay on good terms with both sides. If anything, despite the infighting of their groups, Jordan had brought them all together as friends. After a trip out of the kingdom for a tournament he came back speaking of a god named Ianite, claiming the other’s and their gods were trying to trap her, destroy her, that she could stop the spreading apocalypse if they let her. His friends are more than a bit worried about him, especially now that the only time he talks to them is to threaten them out of his part of the kingdom. Tom swears up and down that there’s something off about his eyes.
The Wizards:
A group independent of the gods who live in the kingdom but aren’t often actually seen by the other inhabitants of the kingdom. They live in the abandoned castle, and a series of underground passages and temples beneath the kingdom. They’ve been alive since long before the apocalypse and they work as the historians of the kingdom, they also work to restore run down portions of the kingdom and keep the peace between its inhabitants.
SBI:
A small group that spend their time traveling across the world, mostly(Kinda, not totally) staying nonviolent and keeping out of people's business.
Techno:
Claims to be a lone wolf but spends a suspicious amount of time around Wilbur, Phil, and Tommy, even helping them collect supplies and protect their campsite. A well trained fighter who often participates in Dream’s pvp tournaments and more often than not comes out victorious. Well known and also widely disliked because of this. Tries to keep his public image of that of a loner, not wanting to put any of his friends in danger from any other fighters who may particularly hate him.
Wilbur:
The main supply gatherer/forager of the group. Very good at sneaking around, has been known to steal from people, though he mostly tries not to tell Phil when he can get away with it. He taught himself how to play the guitar after stealing it some time ago and has now become the designated musician of the group, helping to lift their spirits and entertain them. Really likes water and especially the ocean, but can’t actually swim. Maybe a bit too reckless.
Phil:
The designated protector and cook of the group. His fighting skills are on par with Techno’s, though he chooses not to take the risk of participating in pvp like him. He’s the only one in the group who can cook so yeah he cooks for them. He’s like the big brother of the group. He basically forcibly adopted Tommy after saving him from monsters once, and he frequently forces Techno to take care of himself, treating wounds he gets in battle, forcing him to eat and sleep when he usually wouldn’t and such, and he does his best to curb Wilbur’s stealing habit.
Tommy:
He’s basically like the other three’s younger brother. When he first joined their group he and Wilbur didn’t get along at all, but they slowly grew on each other. He enjoys singing along with Wilbur when he’s singing. He seems to just attract bad luck, always ending up in the most ridiculously dangerous situations and then trying to play it off like it wasn’t actually that bad. He really loves the excitement of their travels. Techno frequently makes fun of him for his bad luck, but it’s all in a very joking way, he always makes sure not to push it too far, and he even teaches Tommy proper fighting and self defense techniques when they have the time.
Various other inhabitants of the apocalypse:
Fundy:
A skilled technician and inventor working to make life in the apocalypse easier, safer, and generally more fun. Working on ways to get around, get rid of, and/or destroy the corruption, but also creates things just for fun. Has on more than one occasion helped create contraptions for Dream’s tournaments. He keeps a low profile and sticks closer to the corruption than most people might in order to study, yet, by some miracle, has managed to not yet be infected. He can fight well enough to defend himself when needed, but isn’t confident enough in his abilities to purposefully pick a fight with anyone. Likes being a public figure and being known for his work and helping people through his inventions, but tries not to expose himself too much to more hostile groups.
Dream Team:
Dream, alongside Snapnap, George, and BadBoyHalo, runs a rather large pvp tournament, as well as smaller parkour and minigame tournaments. Participants have to pay a fairly good amount to enter, usually highly valued resources such as diamonds, iron, gold, netherite, coal, ect., but contestants can win a large variety of useful supplies, including; the previously stated resources, food, potions, tools or weapons, wood, stone, or other building supplies, rare items such as elytra or conduits, and other such items. The events are high risk, high reward, meaning they’re usually packed with individuals confident enough in their skill to take that risk. The events are open to the public to view (For a small fee), and even have a pretty loyal following of people who come to watch. To say the least, the dream team doesn’t have to do a lot of resource gathering with the income they have coming in.
Squid Kid:
A farmer with a surprisingly good grip on pvp skills. Kinda showed up out of nowhere in Dream’s tournaments and immediately garnered attention for his skill, and because no one knew who he was, and also because he always seems to have good food on him, an increasingly difficult feat as time has gone on, as the apocalypse has made it near impossible to properly grow any food. He has yet to have won any tournaments, but he’s gotten close, and he doesn’t seem to mind spending the resources to get in. There’s still not anyone who really knows what his deal is or even where he’s based. To say the least, he has to be careful to make sure he’s not followed home after tournaments, but he’s proven to be quite good at evading followers. He’s also quite good at deflecting questions about his personal life, much to Dream and Techno’s interest.
RT/Daniel:
An eccentric radio host who covers the news of the apocalypse. Does his best to be entertaining and keep people informed, while also trying to constantly one-up Joe Hills, who runs a similar radio show. He keeps his show pretty loose and unstructured, basically discussing whatever he wants whenever he wants. He makes himself a prominent public figure and somehow seems to be on good terms with most people, even if he has a tendency to make fun of people during his show. He will occasionally guest star as a commentator for Dream’s tournaments, unsurprisingly these are some of the most attended events
