omg me just realizing that with a different branch there would be someone new in rhonda and someone new during the fight scene to watch branch's brothers admit they plan on abandoning branch (again) i don't imagine that it would go well in any au but if there was barb, delta, or even prince D omg i really wanna get your take one how they would react to the jd with jd being like "you didn't thing we would stick together roasting mashmellows did you?" or something like that. i understand you probably can't do barb's reaction but could you still do the rest?

I cannot share Barb or [Redacted] or [Redacted]'s reactions but allow me to share some others.

Country AU: Delta Dawn - They should be very afraid in this moment. The only reason they were not obliterated on sight is because Branch was upset and that is more important than making a set of BroZone shaped rugs for the homestead.

Techno AU: Trollex - He was similarly shocked like Branch. His face falls and he and Branch both say 'What?' He cannot comprehend the fact they have 0 interest in reconnecting with Branch. Family is one of the cornerstones of Techno culture. Peace Love Unity Respect were NOT found in that bus.

Classical AU: Dante - He's not surprised, but he is disappointed. Dante has a brother, one he would cross blazing infernos and frigid tundras for. So to not even want to spend five minutes together past the threat of death is... baffling.

Funk AU: Prince D - He's so disappointed and angry on Branch's behalf. His parents did everything they could to find his brother, and did what they could in his best interest. But to just leave Branch again for no reason other than they didn't care? And to mock him for hoping otherwise? Cold blooded.

I've been working on a little bit of an art project for the past week and it is finally done!

I deiced to draw my interpretation of what Branch would look like if he was adopted by one of the other tribes.

First we got Funk Branch! His design was inspired by this post made by @rocksibblingsau. Also, RockSiblings, the Anon in that post was me! I just didn't want to give anything anyway.

Next we got Techno Branch, also inspired by this post. I really struggled to draw him but overall I really like it!

Next up we got Classical Branch, inspired by this post, also by Rock Siblings.

Then we have Country Branch, inspired by @crunchycoookies's art and my fanfic, 'I Wanna Find A Home.'

And last (but certainly not least) we got Rock Branch from @rocksibblingsau's fic/au I'm Gonna Make This Place Your Home.' Though this is my version of an adult Branch verses the kid version we currently have.

Please send me an ask about some of design choices, I beg of you. I really want to ramble about them!

Freshwater AU: Trolls.

"sus hermanos siempre pelean"

Esa era la conclusión a la que llego Floyd poco después de salir de su cascaron. A sus seis años ya adquirió el habito de salir a jugar a fuera apenas notaba que los gritos se hacían más fuertes, siempre con su abuela mirándolo de lejos y asegurando su bienestar.

Era una rutina, lo hacia todos los días, antes de un concierto y después de ellos, a veces incluso durante las comidas, antes de la hora de dormir y cuando Spruce y Clay decidían que John Dory estaba siendo demasiado mandón y no escuchaba más haya de su propia vos.

Hoy era uno de ésos días donde los gritos, las quejas y reclamos eran demasiado para sus oídos, su abuela lo miraba caminar desde lejos serca del barró que dejo la lluvia de todos los jueves, un clima deprimente para una Ciudad deprimente ¿no era fantástico? Ya podía escuchar la musica desde haca, la fiesta de esta noche sera ruidosa ¿que canciones van a tocar? ¿cuánta comida va a ver? ¿habrán fuegos artificiales como el jueves pasado?

Dejo de prestar atención a su alrededor, demasiado sumergido en sus pensamientos, tal vez si no se hubiera distraído no se hubiera caído al barró y sus rodillas y patas no estarían sucias.

—Ugh, la abuela no va a estar feliz― ya podía sentir su mirada de descontento en su espalda ―¿con que me caí?― porque podía jurar que sintió algo solidó en sus patas antes de caer ―¿que...?― era redondo, no una piedra si ese unico peló de color violeta brillante tenía algo que decir al respecto ―un huevo...― o eso creía que era, estaba hundido en el barró hasta la mitad.

Sacarlo del barró era más complicado de lo que parecía, estaba tan húmedo que se resbalaba por sus dedos, parecía que se hundía a medirá que sacaba más y más barró y que se lo estaba llevando con el.

—¡SI!― el huevo estaba fuera ¿y lo más importante? el también. El huevo no parecía mucho un huevo, demasiado redondo y demasiado grande, un unico peló que era algo grueso y parecía brillar de una forma que la brillantina no podía, tenía una mezcla de colores oscuros y claros y la superficie se sentía resbaladiza ¿era realmente un huevo Troll o el huevo de algún tipo de bicho?

¡Clack!

Se congelo por completó...

¡Click, Claghh!

Sus ojos observaron horrorizados como del huevo salía una sustancia viscosa y de color azul, vio un ojo, luego una oreja (¿aleta?) y cuando ya casi tenía toda la cabeza fuera del cascaron volvió a adentrarse en su huevo solo para salir volando de un empujón y quedarse volando a unos cuanto centímetros del suelo...

¿que?

—¡HOLA!― grito de una forma que debería ser imposible para un recién nacido ―¡SOY TRAN-TRAN-TRANCE!- tartamudeo su nombre de una forma que fue obviamente intencional y sus brazos hicieron unos movimientos extraños, casi como si imitada a un DJ, ya en serió ¿que gomitas estaba pasando?

El bebé miro a su alrededor, su boca formando un circulo perfecto mostrando un único diente cuadrado y de un color Cian que al igual que su huevo, brillaba de una forma muy distinta a la brillantina.

Tenía una única ceja de color verde lima y unos ojos negros sus ojos brillaban del mismo color Cian que su boca (ignoro la falta de blanco en ellos) su piel era de un Azul rey que se aclaraba en las puntas de su ¿orejas? (en serió ¿que son?) y su unica aleta.

―así que...― Trance dejo de mirar a su alrededor y ahora lo estaba mirando a el ¿por que eso lo pone nervioso? ―¿eres mi hermano o algo así?― Floyd se quedo congelado y lo miro bien...

¿Floyd realmente quería un hermano menor?

Lo miré y el me devolvió la mirada...

El sera el mejor hermano del mundo!

If your various Brach adopted AUs was taken by Velvet and Venner instead of Floyd, how would his adopted family react?

Rock Branch: Thrash is unfortunately a bit too mentally unwell to process it, but Barb is pissed. Actually, pretty much anyone in Rock City feels that way. Billy, Val, Demo, Petra, Riff, Sid Fret. The entire city is willing to storm Mount Rageous to save their prince.

Classical Branch: Trollzart is terrified for his son's safety. World Tour showed he had a lot of bravery and confidence, but it was shattered a bit by their lack of success. I think he'd request aid from the other tribes.

Country Branch: Also a bit of a 'rally the troops' situation. Hell hath no fury like a mother whose son is in a diamond prison. She'd also give the twins the talking to of a life time.

Funk Branch: Essence and Quincy are scared of losing a son again, and D of losing a brother again. The sisters have probably begun working on a 'Diamond Prison Bottle Opener' device, while Lownote is sure he left his 'Diamond-cutting buzz saw' around here SOMEWHERE.

Techno Branch: Trollex and Synth are already leaving to go get him. The second they found out they were out the door. Trollex is worried a fair amount, meanwhile Synth sort of expects them to fix this the Techno way and befriend Velvet and Veneer. When he realizes the stakes however he freaks out. Sobbing in front of the diamond bottle while Branch is trying to comfort him.

The whale video is very cool but those flippers are exactly the kind that Techno Branch uses to get around. His are decorated to match his wetsuit color, with some pixel details so that they match Trollex

it's pride month and since i don't have any queer chapters in the works yet imm just list my plans for the characters branch- bi and im putting him with synth synth - gay and im putting him with branch trollex - aroace and im putting him in a queer platonic ship with bliss bliss - straight ally laguna - pan and im thinking maybe cooper eventualy cooper - pan and im not sure but i like the nerd x puppy dynamic and i think they'd make each other laugh a lot. chaz - dead to me
