Paloma, the Goddess of Tranquil and Grain: once a beloved figure, to being the one slain so quickly for refusing to give into War and Violence.

She stood by her people for 1,200 years, reassuring them not to give into the war, to not give into anarchy, and the messy crumbling society of The Old Faith.

Shamura was the one who had slain her. Their siblings could care less about one God who refused to let her people be guided to danger, but this deeply angered them. To prove yourself worthy to your people, you had to fight, to earn their respect.

Alas, Paloma believed the opposite… which was how all this led to her murder.

It wasn't an easy way out, either. Shamura made sure she understood, just as much as her people would entrust them. Bloodshed—a God going against her own word, to keep The Lamb's safe in her land—another obstacle out the way to prove The Prophecy wrong.

She of Tranquil: a Goddess that managed to split her own crown apart by not using its power correctly. To tolerate this set of foolish behavior, to corrupt your own crown rather for it to corrupt you, despicable.

hhh. ok. for the past couple years i've had front row seats to this person who i've known for a long time (she's an ex of my best friend who we're still chill with) just. devolving as a person and doing a lot of self sabotage and constantly complaining about one or more things (including like. pre complaining about things. like she finally got a job, hasn't started it yet, and is already claiming to like. hate it because she read somewhere on reddit that it sucks when i've known people who've held this job for years and say it's good money and easy) and refusing any and all help. on top of this she's just openly posting about the horrible financial decisions she's making (while completely self aware joking about how bad these decisions are and posting about how she has no money) and it's stressing me the fuck out. i care a lot about her and i've reached out multiple times asking what i can do to help her and she's refused every time or just been like "yeah i probably should and could do that but knowing me i won't" and just resigning herself to that. and at this point i want to say something like grab her by the shoulders and shake her but i wouldn't know where the hell to start.

Wow, this is taking up valuable space in my queue. I used to do a “currently listening” thing and it’s been here since 2017. 

Probably longer because that desk the turntable is sitting on didn’t last long in there because it was quickly replaced by more record shelves upon which the stereo equipment would sit on top of. Also, my pictures look way better now. 

I’m just talking to myself now.
