The frigid wind from the greater fields of the Hebra regions rolls over the cliffs and down into the Rito village. The two of them had just made it to the village when the storm finally arrived, gratefully taking shelter in Teba's home to ride out the storm. A part of Link knows that he might have tried his own luck in the weather if he were on his own, but he hasn't yet gotten enough cold weather supplies for Grasshopper, which means they need to take a break.

And as the blinds are carefully lowered in the Rito home, a hospitable gesture to the new guests, Link feels the air around them already begin to warm, or at least the sharp edge of the wind cutting away. Breathing a sigh of relief, he signs a careful 'Thank you' to Teba, letting his own pack settle on the ground to begin to dig for some food. It's the least he can do for asking to stay with them so suddenly, bringing two more mouths to feed into the cold.

Making a face, Link realizes he doesn't quite have enough of the food he wanted to make, as least needing more rice and vegetables for all the mouths. If he goes to the merchant now, he might be able to get the food they need, not to mention the warm things for Grasshopper. Sighing slightly, he readjusts his Snowquill jacket, preparing to head back out into the snow, when a small hand on his shoulder makes him stop, an even softer request putting a halt to his plans entirely.

He couldn't leave now, not with Grasshopper's pleading gaze pinned on him, not after making the request when he so rarely asked for anything himself.

Link's eyes tick back to his bag. Yes, he can make it work. And there's always tomorrow to get more warm weather things. Reaching out a hand, Link gives Grasshopper's forearm a small squeeze, a gentle nod, before he pulls off his jacket to offer to the other. He's going to be working by the fire after all.

VADD Fashion Analysis 4: Callisto's Uniform Variation

I made a diagram of the different changes in Callisto's normal uniform and his hunting competition formal wear(banquet and ending ceremony)

This is an expansion of my first ever post here

Images on the left are of Callisto's hunting competition formal wear, while images on the right are of his normal uniform

White Ribbon

Lapels

Formal: Notch lapels; top is black, bottom is white. Top has gold piping.

Normal: Left is notched lapel, all black with the bottom being pinstriped. Right lapel is a shawl lapel but pointed like a Teba jacket's

Sash/Cape

Uniform Jacket Panel

Formal: White panel and flat hem which is even with the rest of the jacket hem.

Normal: Black panel with a notched bottom; extra piping on the right makes it look like a stomacher. The panel is also shorter than the sides of his jacket.

Jacket Cuffs

Formal: White unfolded cuffs; cufflinks match lapel pins.

Normal: Black folded-back cuffs; gold detailing, no cufflinks.

Minor Details

Sash and Imperial Crest Placements

In his formal wear, the sash comes from his left shoulder. However, in his normal outfit, it seems to be positioned lower, as if slipping off his shoulder.

Likewise, the Imperial Crest is positioned right under the epaulettes' fringe in his formal outfit. In Callisto's regular outfit, however, it can be seen just above his elbow, which is visible underneath the white ribbon.

Callisto's Belt

His formal wear has a brown leather belt with a golden buckle and golden keeper loop. On the other hand, his normal belt seems to not have a gold keeper loop, and it has a copper belt stud on his left.

The belt stud is a circle set in a six-pointed star, like his tie pin, down to the hanging diamond detail. Inside the circle are three embossed fleurs-de-lis, the middle one being smaller.

Headcanons regarding the physical differences between the Champions, because why not:

- Daruk has trouble fitting through certain doors in the castle, and he’s too big entirely for certain rooms

- Revali’s height is all in his torso, so even though he’s nearly as tall as Urbosa, his feet don’t reach the floor while he’s sitting in a chair

- Neither do Mipha’s. But that’s because she’s short.

- Urbosa is all legs and so she is constantly banging her knees on the undersides of tables

- Revali prefers to use benches to accommodate his tail feathers. 

- Daruk also prefers benches because he’s too wide for chairs, but it turns out he’s just too heavy for wooden furniture in general. Now he just sits on a cushion on the floor.

Calling on you fan theorists!

In Twilight Princess, when the twilight falls on Hyrule, everyone within it gets turned into souls or spirits or whatever. There are only two exceptions: Link, who gets turned into a wolf, and Zelda, who keeps her normal body.

Why didn't Zelda change?

Theory 1: her powerful magic protected her.

Theory 2: Zant left her that way so she could watch her kingdom crumble, knowing there was nothing she could do to prevent it.

That's all I could come up with. Any other thoughts?

Random Age of Calamity Headcanon:

Teba once overheard Revali singing an old Rito folk song; one whose lyrics had mostly been forgotten by Teba’s time. He asked Revali to sing it again so he could memorize the words and teach them to the Rito in his time.

Revali was a little offended that his people had forgotten his favorite song, so he taught Teba the whole thing from start to finish. They did this with several other songs that had been forgotten, and the two of them bonded over the whole experience.

FACT: Warrior women look much better and way cooler in full armor than skimpy metal bikini armor.

FACT: This extends to fictional women as well.

THEREFORE: Mipha should be allowed to wear proper Zora armor in combat because she'd look rad as hell.

Urbosa's whole culture is warlike and the Gerudo should have proper desert-culture inspired armor.

Impa doesn't need the poofy jacket; she should rock the stealth suit from Breath of the Wild.

Zelda would look kickass in Hylian plate.
