Guys, I have a really great idea I've been sitting on for a while, it's something I created some time ago: teamer (unsweetened tea and coffee creamer)

I came up with this about a year ago and did technically share it online, but not here obviously. Regardless I've been enjoying it for quite some time and highly recommend you all try too.

starting off the year by inking more Teamers AU stuff !! today, more character designs :)

the second years are all in Yuuta's gang, they're basically his lieutenants, although Yuuta isn't really big on hierarchy

Maki with the spiked bat..... scary......

Panda actually rides backseat with Toge, not because he doesn't know how to drive or can't get his hands on a bike himself (his old man is a mechanic, that's how he met Yuuta in the first place), but because he's an absolute mad lad who assaults people by jumping on them from his Very Fast bike

Toge happens to be an old friend and also the only person crazy enough to drive for that kind of thing. He embroidered his pants himself

they all dropped out of school, either in middle school (Maki) or high school (Panda and Toge just decided not to show up on their first day)

the gang hangs out at an arcade when they're not busy beefing with other gangs, and the owner just basically has to deal with it (which he does in a very scared way). The place gets filled with smoke whenever they're here, since a lot of the kids are underage smokers and also it's the 80s

of the Big 4, only Yuuta smokes tho. He does smoke enough for the 4 of them tbh

those who know me probably wonder where Toji is in all of this, and the answer is that he's a yakuza. He, uh, cleans up for the Family, aka he kills people

he spends most of his days losing money at the pachinko tho

he left Megumi at his ex's place, and Megumi never forgave him for that. It's extremely awkward whenever they cross each other in the street, although Toji pretends he doesn't recognize Megumi and thus doesn't care

(he does. Very much)

Shi-woo's place in the organization is a bit unclear, but he tends to be sent on negotiation jobs and act as an intermediary because of his silver tongue, and he's pretty good with accounting

he and Toji don't so much work together as they cross paths when Shi-woo leaves a room and Toji enters it to take care of what Shi-woo couldn't manage on his own

(Shi-woo uses his Japanese name at all times in this verse)

Megumi really, really admires Yuuta and wants to join his gang at all costs. He keeps getting told that he's good at school so he should at least finish high school before joining tho

(Yuuta doesn't actually want Megumi to join, because he feels like this kid has a future outside of this world, and doesn't want him to waste it. He knows he can't say that directly tho, so he hopes Megumi will give up by the time he graduates)

meanwhile, Megumi and Yuuji keep on getting into fights at school because they can't stand bullies and they just come in swinging when someone pisses them off

Yuuji also often spends his spare time at the pachinko. He's made friends with a lot of the bums and old men there

I just...outside of my writer brain being pleased by the fact that we got all six characters on the cover and it's chalk full of hints, I also just love it?! I FINALLY GOT MY NEON BOOK!! now pray for me as I do my best to weasel my way into getting my dream color combo for book two.

I think, of all my books, this one is the easiest to get into for non-fantasy readers, but it'll still hopefully be deeply rewarding for avid fantasy heads regardless. it's also the pace-iest and biggest ensemble cast / found family sitch I've ever done, and includes some of my favorite jokes I can't believe I got away with lmao.
