Like TeacherMade, the Canva Pro version costs money for an annual subscription. But since 2019, Canva has made its Pro version available to educators for free!! And as of the Summer of 2024, there are hundreds of thousands of ready-to-go educational resources in Canva, too. This makes it much more useful for busy educators. The Canva Pro version is a versatile graphic design platform that allows you to create visually appealing materials effortlessly. PDFs and paper activities can be plain and boring, but with Canva, you can transform them into beautiful, engaging content, giving your materials a much-needed facelift. Here’s why Canva is an excellent choice for educators: Ease of Use: Canva’s drag-and-drop interface makes it easy for anyone to create stunning designs and its new AI capabilities make the tool even better! Customizable Templates: With thousands of templates available, teachers can quickly create worksheets that fit their classroom theme and lesson objectives– or just choose from the 100,000s already made. Clever and ClassLink: Teachers can utilize SSO ensuring a seamless log in to access their assignments quickly. Real-World Examples Teachers across various subjects have successfully integrated Canva and TeacherMade into their classrooms. For instance, a high school history teacher designed a worksheet on the American Revolution using Canva. She then uploaded the worksheet to TeacherMade, adding interactive elements such as timeline matching and video explanations. The result was a highly engaging and informative activity that her students loved. Similarly, an elementary school math teacher used Canva to create a colorful, interactive activity on fractions. By uploading it to TeacherMade and adding interactive fraction problems, the students received immediate feedback on their answers, helping them grasp the concept more effectively. Engaging, Effective, Time-Saving Materials Incorporating Canva and TeacherMade into your teaching toolkit can significantly enhance your classroom experience. By leveraging Canva’s design capabilities and TeacherMade’s interactive and autograding features, you can create engaging, effective, and time-saving educational materials. Say goodbye to paper clutter and your boring view-only materials and hello to a more efficient, interactive classroom. Your students (and your sanity) will thank you! Norah, although amused, was surprised by his sudden confession. It causes her to laugh out into the quiet night air and shake her head. “Good to know,” she said, turning to smile at him. “I happen to know a very good place with the best breakfast burritos and good news: they don’t have strippers.”

“Listen carefully to me, they better be the best.” He pointed out flippantly, eyes still focused on the dark road, “because I’m not spending my entire night sat in a car watching an empty road for someone who probably isn’t going to turn up, to eat nasty breakfast burritos and burnt coffee.”

"I have a life,” he responded with a pout, “work’s just made it a little more PG than I care for.” but was quick to brush it off before fishing around his pack for his cigarettes and water bottle, “But I do miss Vine though. I think it was freaking magical.” And it did a lot of help with his ever important social media presence. “I don’t even know what I’m saying, honestly. I think everyone just reaches a point where they start emulating memes... a meme-life crisis.” He couldn’t not laugh at his own joke. “I need to go out for a smoke, you wanna join me?”

“That’s allowed.” It’s an easy statement, shrugging a little.  It didn’t matter much in the end, after all, a lot more was going on around them, he didn’t need to be too concerned.  “I think we’re all a little lonely, anymore.”

Jay just sat therefor a moment, staring at her, trying to gauge if it would be the appropriatetime to crack a joke. “I’ll sleep with one eye open tonight then.” He quippedbefore a soft sigh left him, “look, it’s not your fault.” People got away, theydidn’t get everyone, that had taken him a long time to come to terms with. Therewas a difference between escape by stupidity, and escape despite the fact youhad done everything right. “You did exactly what I would have done. You can doeverything right, and it still doesn’t pan out.”

❛ we said things in the dark, we never dared to say. ❜
Blue eyes look down, lips pressed in a tight line. Fingers hover above the handle of his door, back to her voice. Every muscle of his back tightens under his white shirt. Words have not been spoken between them since he asked her to give back her key, since he stopped all relation between them.
Tumblr media
Steve is unsure as to what to say, what to do, really. Life is as it was before her appearance ( lifeless, sad, useless ) but he isn’t hurting her anymore && that was the point. Closing his eyes briefly, his tongue humidifies his lips.      “Yes. Thankfully, it’s not happening again.”      He hopes there’s no emotion in his voice, he does not want to hurt her && he hopes she knows that.
Nodding to himself, fingers close around the handle, turning it gently as the keys wiggle against the door. Door now opened, he goes in.
