okay listen i’m not really a brag on myself kinda girly cause, well frankly im terrible at it HOWEVER

i’ve had some people comment on THE ACCENTS IVE DONE for the cadence of part time poets podfic and when i tell you, nothing, and i mean NOTHING has made me grin the way someone saying my little scottish accent was cute has.

so, one thing about me? i can mimic an accent like my life depends on it. i don’t even do it on purpose im just sort of like an accent sponge.

like i want to dissect it and find the meaning of every single part,i want to consume it, and i want to look for all the symbolism and highlight every step towards the slow burn

and the OCs i mean i love them so much, I mean Tomny and Tonya have my heart and like i’m genuinely obsessed with her, but also Simeon, just aaaaaaaaa

i want to print it out and mark every time one of them is mentioned, and also put every scene where you can see Remus and Sirius's feelings for each other and put them in a doc together and write an essay on it

it’s late, and i want to write a more coherent love letter to this fic one day, but this is what you get rn

when there’s even a hint or whiff of smut in The Cadence of Part Time Poets and i’m recording the podfic, the way my ears go bright red is so embarrassing.

i can sit and read pure filth, utter filth quite happily. my ao3 bookmarks are a hellscape, truly.

but the minute i’m reading so much as HAND HOLDING out loud? i’m like a victorian lady who’s accidentally just flashed an ankle

I just wanted to say it genuinely makes my week when you update the cadence podfic — and this was literally perfect timing, it’s my final exam week currently at university and I am beyond stressed but i catch myself laughing out loud when walking to the library (definitely look crazy). But yeah I really appreciate it, I read all that had been updated of cadence about a year ago so listening to the podfic now has felt like reuniting with an old friend <33 much love

im so sorry re your exams, i hope the week is well and truly done (i think this was last week) and I'm so sure you did incredible on all of them <3 i cannot imagine the stress of that. so I'm glad my silly voice reading this beautifully hilarious story has helped in some way.

i try so hard to keep a straight face when I'm reading out the pranks and also pretty much anything sirius says but truly its impossible.

So a lot of podfics are being removed from Spotify (because bloody capitalism and AI abusing content!). Are you planning on removing Cadence? And if so, where would you put it - it's not on AO3 is it?

ive done some nosying and im not too worried. it's ultimately @motswolo's decision as this beautiful story belongs to them. but currently, we have no plans to pull the Cadence podfic. in fact, new chapter coming in the next couple of days :)

hii i’ve been listening to you read tcoptp and WOW. i’ve never liked audiobooks much, but it took me only a few days to listen to every episode, you have no idea how happy it makes me to listen!!

i’ve already read the story before but its feels so new to hear it out loud. i love when i can hear you smile through certain parts and how i can tell the difference in each of the characters voices.

also, i was just wondering i hope this is okay to ask- do you have any set schedule at all? like do you try to upload once or twice a month or any goal at all… i was just wondering because i am SO excited that sirius is with remus now and it is taking all of my willpower to not go and read ahead haha!

these last couple of chapters have had me CHEESIN GRINNIN all the way through (mostly). my ears were also B R I G H T red while reading them um... discover each others... um... well. yes. ahem. moving on.

I'm so bloody glad to hear you're enjoying it. I don't have a posting schedule at the moment but I'm planning on implementing one soon. I do have a few weeks off work at the moment so between that and some other projects I've got going on at the moment (read: reading fanfiction, writing fanfiction, recording podcasts and pretending to have a social life), i should be able to get a good chunk of chapters out and posted over the next while.

when i do eventually have a posting schedule I'll do a little post and let you know <3

Literally obsessed with your cadence podcast, i read cadence before it was completed and I’m so busy that I never have had time to commit to rereading/finishing but the podcast is literally PERFECT for listening when I walk to classes. On that note, do you have a schedule for when you post the chapters? Or is it more just based off of when u have time?
