I wanted to ask if you could write something for Namgung Su (or Soo I’ve seen it written in both ways so idk) x reader. Every time I see that man I get mad over how good looking he is (tbh it probably runs in the family cause have you seen Namgung Jaehak?)

You're so right, the lack of content is an absolute crime 😭 I wish we had a ton of other writers too but oh well, you just gotta make content where there is none if you want some...

To answer your questions one by one:

— I am currently not taking requests BUT I will make a post when I do so that you can send in a request then because I'm doing my last year of degree college and I'm absolutely swamped and drained and my writing motivation is all over the place. I might likely open requests back around Nov, when my exams for this sem would be done with, but take that with a grain of salt cause I'm not a trustworthy person with time estimates lol

— when you say genres, what exactly do you mean? cause like, I usually do fluff and angst (I prefer doing fluff the most) and I'm trying my hand at writing steamy or smut scenes but I have no experience in this regard so I would not advertise it due to my lack of skills in this department... I'm good with writing plot focused fics, but for character fics, I tend to lean more to romance type fics, or something like hurt/comfort where the reader cares for a character. I can write aus and stuff as well but again, I'm not very confident doing it for short fics because I run the risk of making a character ooc and that's my worst nightmare lol.

I'm best at writing fem reader, pretty moderate at gender neutral (I just started it recently so I'm still learning my way around it) and I have never done a male reader until now but I could try. Request at your own risk tho 😭

— I haven't considered Namgung Su, but I could try if you want? I can't guarantee that it would be good but I'm willing to try :) the only issue is that I've read BTB months ago now, and I binged it in like 3 days. Case in point, it's been quite a while since I last read it so I'll need to reread it to refresh my memory for all the characters. Like I mentioned before, college is currently kicking my ass so I'm not gonna be able to reread it until Oct/Nov. But I will keep in mind to look out for Namgung Su when I do the rereading for you!

sometimes I forget that my experience has been. um. not 'your experiences are not universal' vibes but more like 'your experiences are EXTREMELY atypical'

#red said #recent events have reminded me that my life has involved like. a LOT of other people's psychosis #like not in a way where i have been Beset By Terrifying Crazies bc that's not like. a thing.#but a lot of people in my life have had a lot of really severe psychotic episodes #and i FORGET sometimes. that actually that is an Unusual Amount Of Experience With Psychosis for someone who's not #for somebody who has not really personally ever had psychotic episodes (unless severe PTSD flashbacks count)#actually i tell a lie i have maybe had One psychotic episode but because it was very situational and i knew what was happening #i was able to ride it out. because i am literally only psychotic Inside Hospitals and so that's all fine #as long as i LITERALLY NEVER HAVE TO HAVE INPATIENT CARE. Very important to me to never ever ever require surgery i think.#i can handle the amount of psychosis i get from a 1-4 hour stopoff in hospital #as long as i know I'm leaving soon then i can just Cope with the fact that the walls are moving and reality is thin #ANYWAY that's not the point the point is i forget! that most ppl i know have experience of at most a handful of severe psychotic episodes #some people i know have experienced more for sure. especially if the episodes were mostly theirs.#but people really seem to expect me to be more freaked out by their symptoms of psychosis than i am #bc i don't think i really register it as frightening unless they're in actual danger or Currently Aggressing Actually At Me #like i WORRY about them bc it can super suck but it's not SHOCKING or WEIRD #there have definitely been times ive been frightened. one time i woke up in the night and my friend was standing over me with a knife #but also like he was still HIM he was just having a moment. and as soon as i got the knife off him he just came back and broke down.#and we were fine and he was safe and i learnt the valuable lesson that even when people seem like they wanna kill you they probably don't #tbf now I'm thinking about it it's honestly a tossup whether he was there to threaten or because he felt a need to guard us #like to be clear probably don't try and take a knife off someone having a psychotic break. i was 17 and it was 3am and i knew him very well #i probably did not make the smartest call but nobody got hurt is the point #anyway you know there's that kind of psychotic episode and my granny got very violently angry a few times. buuuut you know there's also #been plenty of other times I've been with somebody having an episode and it's been chill as hell.#my ex saw and heard monsters so much that eventually she just got sick of being scared. we used to watch TV with them #i would sometimes have to sit on a bit of sofa that wasn't haunted and we might not be able to watch certain things bc they didn't like it #most of the time she was hallucinating there was absolutely nothing to worry about we just had a few extra variables #honestly of everyone i know who's had psychotic episodes or schizophrenia the amount of times it's been a material risk #is like. low single figures? maybe low double if you include self harm but idk what the cause and effect is there.#idk why you would need to be frightened like 99.99% of the time it truly is usually just Oh No That Seems Distressing For You I'm Sorry

DICKTIM MOMMY KINK. how did you know i have such a thing for just about any Batcest ship where the other person calls Tim mommy. i don't even know why i just think that shit is so fun.

it'd have to be Omegaverse for me, that's the only scenario i personally could write m-preg. i like the thought of no one knowing that Tim has gone on this crusade. and after 99 failures, Tim's so desperate and angry he tries in vitro fertilization. the first few times it doesn't work so he doesn't take it too seriously, at this point it's just a compulsion. he gets to a point he stops taking the pregnancy tests. so when about a month later, he's experiencing morning sickness and he's missed his heat, Tim has an 'oh, shit.' moment. and well. telling Dick first is his *natural* answer. (i think he'd also go to Steph, but in canon she'd be "dead" at this point) Tim doesn't know what to do, he didn't think he'd get this far. Dick is comforting and grounding, agreeing to help Tim hide this the best he can. Tim has to time it right, fake a bad injury so it makes sense he's benched and wearing baggy sweaters for a few months.

it's platonic at first. Dick is an alpha but his bond with Tim is more of a pack bond and he's just trying to help Tim through this awkward situation he got himself into. (and not laugh at him too much in the process bc well. only Tim. only Tim could manage this.) the pregnancy hormones have Tim all over the place. he's seeking comfort and Dick is trying to keep it platonic and professional, even when he's cuddling Tim or bringing him weird cravings at 2 am. the trust in Dick and Tim's bond makes Dick Tim's only real support system. (also just bc the Titans were a goddamn mess in this era) maybe at some point they tell Bruce the truth but Bruce is dealing with Jason so. bigger fish. it forces them closer as Dick is the only one who can help Tim with the awkward sides of pregnancy. Dick is basically living with Tim and because Tim can't satiate the itch to be in the field (he's tried sneaking out, it earned him a lecture from Dick and a warning that Dick would handcuff him to the radiator if Tim tried that again) so Tim runs comms. for anyone who asks, but mostly for Dick, to the point he's in Dick's ear even when Dick doesn't need the backup, just to keep each other company.

i think, as the pregnancy went on and Tim's chest started to fill out and his hips are bigger, that's when Dick's feeling shift. one second Tim is just his pack, the next Tim is suddenly a very pretty, very vulnerable omega that's Dick is protecting and his wires get all kinds of crossed about it. he starts dousing himself in scent blockers so Tim doesn't notice the change, can't smell how much Dick wants him. which makes Tim annoyed because Dick's scent has been a consistent calming factor keeping the worst of his hormones in check. it'd lead to an awkward fight where Dick is dancing around the truth and Tim just wants to bite him out of anger. finally, Dick admits it and. Tim kind of bluescreens bc sure he's had a crush on Dick for years, but it's sort of like your celebrity crush calling you up and asking for a date. it makes no sense and he can't wrap his head around it. he almost thinks Dick is making fun of him, because Tim is super self-conscious about the pregnancy and mortified he put himself in this situation. it takes a lot of reassurance and a long conversation, but. well, they do end up having sex.

Dick doesn't *mean* to call Tim mommy the first time. he knows Tim hates being emasculated as an omega, and knows Tim is vulnerable about being pregnant. their sex is gentle, no matter how much Tim insists he can take it because Dick doesn't want to hurt the baby, or Tim. it's when Tim finally huffs with annoyance and flips them over -reminding Dick that Tim is still trained and deadly, even like this- to take control and actually get the rough sex he needs right now, when it slips out. there's something just very pretty about Tim taking control and taking what he needs from Dick, but still being whiny and squirmy on top of him. so the first time Dick calls him mommy is an accident and they're *both* startled by just how much they like it. their sex life goes from soft and caring to *very* interesting overnight, where Dick doesn't hide how much he likes Tim's chest. and well. breastfeeding kink. for completely scientific reasons, of course. just to help the milk flow and make sure Tim's body is adjusting well. definitely not bc of the noises Tim makes when Dick does it no sir.

when Tim finally has the clone baby, they're both smitten with this tiny clone. i think they'd end up mating and either say it's Dick's baby or they adopted it. (the lie only works short term bc well, sooner or later that baby's going to start lifting trucks. not to mention Kon does come back to life and is perturbed by how much Tim's kid looks like him.) it's a very cute, fluffy happily ever after sort of deal, with plenty of mommy kink. i think Tim would be huffy and annoyed at how long he'd have to wait for sex bc in my mind, Tim uses sex as a stress relief and is very annoyed when he's deprived of it so, they'd find creative ways around it.

Things That Should Have Made People Realise I Was Neurodivergent, But Didn't, Because I Was a Good Kid Who Didn't Cause No Trouble And Masked Like A Good Girl:

that time in second grade when the class was playing outside on a hot day, and a boy took off his shirt. no one yelled at him. i was also very hot. now of course no one saw my internal debate, and trying to suss out what would be socially acceptable by using logic, but i came to the conclusion that since I was 8 years old and was personally nowhere near starting puberty, it would be okay for me to take off my shirt too. i happily played shirtless for a while, although i could definitely feel the weird looks my classmates were giving me. i wasn't confident in my assessment but i was willing to defend my logic and position. i was right and if the others disagreed, they were the weird ones. a teacher passed by in a hurry and yelled at me to put my shirt on in a scandalised tone. she didn't yell at the boy. nothing further ever came of it.

#i'm still indignant about this #like i had CONSIDERED IT #and while i realise that society isn't built in a way that doesn't sexualise little girls it fucking SHOULD BE #i was very relieved i didn't get in trouble at the time but god damn if that teacher hadn't been trying to stop a nosebleed or whatever #or like if she'd come back later and had a FUCKING TALK WITH ME #tbf i probably would have lied and masked my way through that one the best i could and then stress cried in the bathroom #also the way i just realised this is why i'm so good at lying in some situations #i was SO SCARED of being found out #found out that i didn't know what to do in a situation or how to talk to people #i was SCARED the first time we had school lunch and i was always so worried i'd have to show people i didn't know something #thank god for scripts #i actually remember developing a script in my head the first time my mum encouraged me to talk to salesperson #i was like 5 #and i felt like i couldn't ask mum what to say #i had to KNOW #so i scripted it in my head and gathered my courage and asked where the whatevers were and walked back to my mum #and we went and found the whatevers together #mum fully just did that because she thought i was so shy #i was shitting bricks #i also hated the idea of going to doctor's appointments alone #it was fine for general checkups but when they were actually tryna figure shit out with my migraines it was bad #i'd forget EVERYTHING i'd need to say and i had no script and i was scared and AAAAAA #i'd always take my mum with me #there was this one doctor who hated that and tried to get me to come alone #i was 16 maybe?#when i eventually did go alone it went okay #i masked and came up on top :| and nobody noticed i was fully super depressed and neurodivergent #okay i think that's enough for now #internal monologue #adhd

#tbf i don't rly think of my writing in tropes. even then exes to lovers doesn't cross my mind as often as friends- or enemies- to lovers #as in it's like. slightly less common? idfk i don't pay all that much attention to that. it's also not a trope i inherently jump at as #someone who personally does not find the thought of getting back with an ex remotely appealing #however. when my characters are stupid about these things...#i think it didn't cross my mind bc they don't. formally break up so i kinda forgot they're technically exes at the beginning of p2 #it's like 'i need to fucking book it bc i killed a guy and his guys want my head for that but i'll come back [doesn't do that for. five #years and mostly comes back bc they're out of options]' not 'it's fucking over' yknow?#their relationship by the end of p1 is kind of funky though. it's absolutely romantic in nature but grimm is. kind of a mess bc it's got #this tension of wanting to simultaneously get close to someone and not let them in so the two of them actually don't get all that far?#they're both too afraid to have sex about it that's for sure #i'm not even sure what they call their relationship at that point either. for grimm's sake i don't think they'd really call it anything #in essence it ends with a lot of broken promises that weren't quite promises yknow?#if grimm hadn't booked it i think eventually the two of them might've sorted out their shit but also there's a v high chance grimm would've #fucked things over for good. actually now that i think about it they probably would have run off at some other point #i also think it's important for yarrow's development that grimm fucked off. gotta add some bitterness to that mixture there #you see the five years between p1 and p2 are essential for character development. they gotta marinate in who the fuck they are #make themselves a bit better. make themselves a bit worse. date someone else for a year or so. as it goes #i'm fully rambling here but. what the fuck ever that's what this blog is for #at all times i want to talk about my characters. i only occasionally find a way to make it into a post #grimmyarrow

I love drawing Aris as sif so much she's so cutsies. It almost makes up for the horrors of having to draw her as sif. Almost.

#rat rambles #eternal gales #stars posting #I will live in a state of not rly understanding everyone's hatred of lineart until I do sprite redraws #I get it now. this is hell #it doesnt help that I have to improv poses and expressions and stuff a thing that Im not good enough at style emulation to do well #I was going to try to do all of sifs battle portraits with aris but Im like 3 hours in and only done with 5 of them I am not strong enough #tbf in theory the rest after the first 7 shouldnt be as bad since I can just edit the first ones but I dont wannaaaaa #I Do have ideas tho. alas.#Ive just been thinking oh so hard abt her expressions throughout the acts #also abt her going through the horrors in general #for the first two acts she isnt smilely like sif is instead having a very determined look #but after that she becomes a lot more like. innitentive I guess?#basically imagine she's like completely stuck in her own head at that point and is barely processing the things around her #she also gets her only smile within this set being her buff/heal animation where she puts on a fake smile to try to meet her pretend #shes ok and paying attention quota #its not helping. its only making the others worry more.#I have the least ideas for act 5 but I think it'd be fun to maybe have her actually make eye contact with the camera for those?#shes looking off center for all her other ones so I think itd help set the tone of oh god fucked up shit is happening #also she tends to mask more when stressed so.#in general its just very fun thinking abt the ways aris would handle things differently than sif #for one she doesnt have as many side quests where she gets nosy and regrets it due to a mix of her being so fixated on solving the loops #and her just generally being bad at reading most ppl leading her to not rly noticing or caring abt stuff that sif would #mainly she doesnt get the confession side quest despite sier still trying every loop because she didn't rly realize how important it was to #sier and just sorta assumed it was not that important in the grand scheme of things #but she Does have a similar side quest with mase where she gets to have a self hatred spiral <3 #in the house shed sometimes catch mase secretly pick some stuff up when shes not looking and if she asks at the end hed say that he was #going to make something but didnt get everything he needed. this leads aris to assume itd be some tool or weapon or smth like the bomb #so if she went around and found all the spots where he collects stuff in one loop shed be able to ask again and he'd reveal he wanted to #make matching bracelets for everyone. and aris would get frustrated and upset and then freak out because she got mad and spiral
