Self love will be a big theme too as it's in Libra degree.

It conjuncts moon, his emotions, which means people will not see it or notice the reality of him. It's also in Pisces, that represents the hidden things. Like bro, everything is connected. ‧₊˚✩彡 Aries 12H: So 12H is all about the spiritual stuff and hidden things, like the hidden worlds, etc. If we focused on this part, and remember what Aries is about, you can then remember that sign is about anything that involves physical body, the war and so military. Fighting too. In the 12H it means it's part of the spiritual world, but such a sign in it would make me feel like it's more a shadow work, because it's about fighting. So this military service was just right there, in that year.

Man this is literally in Aries in the 12H. Do you still think he will enjoy it????? Yep. Literally to me it means that he will not like military and will mostly see it as a painful experience than anything. It's also in libra degree which means it's also unbalanced time for him. There are no harmony and he hates that. He will experience such a shadow work to do, for real. But, don't worry too much for two different reasons. The first reason is that it conjuncts North Node, which represents your purpose this year, and it's also in Aries 12H with an Aries degree. THIS was his destiny this year, okay? He needs to go to military, because it's his Korean duty but also for shadow works. Shadow works are supposed to make you work on yourself, and any triggers you have or red flag (in a sense) for you to grow up (in a sense). So he needs to go through it.

It's also in the 12H, now not conjucting Chiron and NN, but in the same house. So despite the rough year spiritually, we know it has to happen. But it will also bring him a lot of luck and abundance afterwards. And here's the thing about shadow works: it's literally "blue sky after the storm". Or the rainbow after the storm, I don't remember. But you see what I mean, it's literally realizing how lucky you are and how the universe blessed you to go through a shadow work. He will realize how lucky and bless he is that it happened, and how much he grew spiritually. He will grow spiritually for sure.

2023 september sun horoscope pt. 1

sun in aries: well, i don't think most of you are going to be too fond of this month because it is challenging for an aries. august's theme of priorities will be carried over for you, you may feel like your connections are changing, there may be some connections that you are unwilling to let go of, there may be some connections that are deepened with greater emotional intimacy, but overall there will be a change in what you have been doing. throughout september you will encounter new experiences or have a notable experience with something new and there will be hiccups along the way as there usually is with something new. your best advice is to 'cool your heels', check the ego, and allow yourself to be insecure this month as you choose to walk away from what is not worth it and step into a new chapter. otherwise, this could be a month of stagnancy as you cling too tightly to needing to feel in charge.

sun in taurus: don't get bitter get better. this is a month where you're going to feel like you have no choice, there may be a bitter pill to swallow, you may feel like you miss/missed out on something, but overall you will be narrowing down what it is that you can and cannot do so that you can make the best of your situation. throughout september you're going to realize that feelings are not welcomed this month and that this is a month of putting your money where your mouth is; there will be a focus on your job or having a job or whatever is equivalent for you, you may have a falling out this month or reconnect with someone from the past, you will feel unfulfilled and out of your mind at times because it's a very "fuck it imma just do this and get it over with" type of month for you. if you find yourself thinking that something isn't making you happy and you can't see the long-term success then try to meditate on what does/will and put some things in motion. otherwise, this could be a month of making things harder for yourself than they need to be or a month of going through the motions.

sun in leo: getting things in order for yourself i see...this is a month where you have something in mind that you're trying to sort the details with and make happen or there is an opportunity that is going to present itself and you won't have to do much to obtain it or there is an opportunity that you either have in mind or will present itself that you need to cowboy up for, overall this is a month of opportunity. throughout september you will be able to be productive, there will not be an ungodly load on your plate impeding you, if any issues come up then you will be able to take them in stride, this may be a month where you are not social or you may have issues with others (probably because you are focused on other things) but so long as you try to be mature and communicate then things should find resolve. it would be in your best interest to allow your feelings to show this month and to be okay letting your emotions come as they may because you are needing to level up in some capacity, it may not be easy but you have to believe and you have to express yourself and put yourself out there. otherwise, this could be a month of going through the motions doing the same ol' thing.

sun in virgo: happy birthday to the virgos! this is a month where your plans are changing and y'all totally love that...lol. there are things that you are needing to figure out this month because of the change in plans that will be happening - somehow some way you're going to have to break out of your routine and it seems to be a positive change because you're leaving something behind that thrusts you into freedom elsewhere. this may very will be a time of wandering for you and that's okay because you need to rely on others this month and get out of your comfort zone. maybe you've been hyperfixating on something that's caused you to be a hermit and this month you realize you need to get out of the house and reconnect with your friends to do something fun, maybe you've been trying to do something on your own and you realize that you need help and you have to step out of your comfort zone to ask for such, maybe you have been wanting more friends and you realize you have to branch out in order to do obtain them, whatever it is...other people/connections and getting out of your comfort zone are important this month. otherwise, this could be a month of lacking accountability and being avoidant.

Energy Update: July 2023

July is a “5” Universal Month [7 (July) + 7 (2023) = 14 = 1 + 4 =5]. 5 is a very dynamic number that tends to represent a big change of course or point of conflict. This is represented in the astrology in the month as well as we experience multiple planetary shifts and our lunar nodes also shift signs during the month. There are a lot of moving pieces and it may be hard to find solid ground as we slip and slide our way into the beginning of summer.

The Set Up

We begin the month with the Sun and Mercury in Cancer, Venus and Mars in Leo, Jupiter Uranus and the North Node in Taurus, retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn. By the end of July the Sun will have entered Leo, Mercury and Mars will have entered Virgo, and the lunar nodes will have entered Aries and Libra respectively. Additionally, Venus will retrograde in Leo.

For a month with relatively few aspects (number-wise), July is going to pack a punch. We will never be the same. This is, from the perspective of linear time, always true but in a month full of shifts and heavy hitters, some people may find their lives unrecognizable come August.

The Nitty Gritty

All eyes are on our lunar nodes and the number of strong aspects that they will make with the Sun, Mercury, and Mars over the course of the month ahead. When the lunar nodes (which always move retrograde – or backward – through the horoscope) switch signs, it is one of the big cosmic gong crashes that demarcate time. The lunar nodes represent the mathematical points in the sky with which the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth can come together to create eclipses. Our eclipse cycles ruled by Taurus and Scorpio are ending and we are entering the territory of Aries and Libra. The dichotomy of the individual “Me” versus the collective “We” will be at the forefront as we transverse this change during July. Expect these energies to reemerge later in the year as we enter eclipse season.

But first, we begin the month with Mercury cazimi as the Sun meets up with Mercury at 09° Cancer. The first will be a very inspired day as the Sun and Mercury also make a sweet sextile with Jupiter in Taurus. If you need to do some positive manifestation – particularly if it has to do with wealth or accumulation of things – this will be your day. This is a great day for intention setting or goal orienting of all kinds – remember to think big!

The weekend leading up to our full moon at 11° Capricorn on Monday is going to feel like a lot if you’re not ready for it. It might feel like a lot even if you are. Capricorn has been under a lot of pressure since the beginning of 2020 and is now dealing with Saturn, their planetary ruler, in retrograde and the recent ingress of Pluto backward into Capricorn from Aquarius. Sometimes we need to pay the piper. The sooner that we get up and do what needs doing, the easier this all will be. Saturn may be out to lunch but that doesn’t mean that you can skimp on the work – don’t say that I didn’t warn you. Venus in Leo will be square to Uranus in Taurus during this energy – this is the first pass of this aspect during Venus’ pre-retrograde shadow period. There may be some money troubles or overspending that needs accounting for. Paying the piper might be quite literal in this instance. Know that Venus will return square off with Uranus twice more: a second time while she moves backward during her retrograde cycle in August and a third time when she moves forward again come September. What is coming up now may be a portent of what’s to come. The week of 7/4 may be on the quiet side as we will only experience two Mercury aspects: a square with Chiron in Aries on 7/4 and a sextile with Uranus on 7/7. Use this downtime to integrate the energies of the weekend. Ground and center if you can. With Uranus involved, the energy is likely to be electric and some may find themselves unable to sleep or slow down. Heads up to those prone to mania or insomnia, this astrological weather is highly indicative or exasperating those types of problems.

On 7/10, we get our first big hit of the month on our lunar nodal energy as Mars enters Virgo and immediately forms a trine to our North Node in Taurus and a sextile to our South Node in Scorpio. Mars in Virgo can be fairly nitpicky and critical so some people may find their feelings hurt under this energy – especially, I suspect, if they are hiding from some part of themselves or their journey. Mercury enters Leo the very next day on Tuesday and squares off with the nodes as well which shows that things are going to get a bit testy. Be careful not to say something that you cannot take back as Mercury in Leo can be a bit tactless. The Sun in Cancer is also square to Chiron (exact on Wednesday), so old wounds are close to the surface.

The secret here is, as always, to use this energy to fix problems but when there is more than one person involved, there are no guarantees. Remember you cannot fix something with somebody who doesn’t think that a situation needs fixing, or somebody who isn’t willing to meet you halfway. Focus on healing yourself instead of trying to change others during this time, if you can. By the end of the week, the Sun in Cancer will be sextile to Uranus in Taurus – any Sun-Uranus aspect is a Red Flag Day; its worth remembering that Uranus is in Taurus and what bulls do with red flags.

Lie low for sure on Friday and maybe all week if you can. Unless all persons involved are willing to sit down and be honest and objective (Mars in Virgo), nothing will get done. Any important conversation that can wait probably should. And stay away from explosives of all kinds. Maybe especially explosive people. You know the ones.

This is all leading into a new moon at 24° Cancer on Monday 7/17 which is also the day that our lunar nodes switch from Taurus/Scorpio to Aries/Libra. Aries is sign #1 and hopelessly self-involved (by design, this is not a criticism) – we will all need to rectify how individuality impacts our own lives. The combination of new-ness of the day (new moon plus new lunar nodes) is a positive double-whammy for starting projects or just wiping the slate clean. Also note the cardinality of the day (Cancer, Aries, and Libra being three of the four cardinal signs) – go for it. Take active steps towards what you want to bring forth into this world.

Again, we get some downtime to process these shifts but things will heat up as we enter the weekend. The Sun in Cancer opposes retrograde Pluto in Capricorn on Friday along with Mercury in Leo meeting up in trine with Chiron in Aries. This is a revisitng of sorts – one which has some pain associated with it. Work your way through the pain rather than running from it – Mars in Virgo is opposed to retrograde Saturn in Pisces, this is your sign to stop avoiding that problem.

The Sun in Cancer squares off with the lunar nodes on Saturday the 22nd before entering Leo which shows that our egos might be getting in the way. Where can we think more big picture? Immature Leo energy can be very narcissistic and small-minded but we always get a choice. Try leaning into the Universal Heart energy of mature Leo and take a walk in somebody else’s shoes for an afternoon. I’m not saying that you have to try to empathize with that TERF next door, start with your partner, perhaps. Or somebody else that you care about. Where are you only thinking about yourself? Where are they only thinking about themselves?

Venus retrogrades at 28° Leo on Sunday 7/23 which is the other big event of the month. I wrote an entire post about this already but I will summarize by pointing out that Venus will make two squares to planets in Taurus (Jupiter and Uranus) and trines with Chiron in Aries. This is the time to do less – as in, don’t overdo it. The way that this will show up in personal lives will be different for everyone but some examples are: don’t jump too fast into new relationships (big R or little r), don’t overspend, don’t overeat or overdrink or insert your indulgence of choice here. The last week of July will be quieter. Mercury will meet up with retrograde Venus on Thursday 7/27 – Mercury and Venus have been interacting in retrograde with each other since January of 2022. We need to learn to think and feel simultaneously – so many of us can only live in our hearts OR in our brains – we are being challenged to do both. Mercury makes an exact trine with our North Node in Aries on Friday but Venus never quite makes it – that’s telling. Thought is still winning. Where can you balance this by being more in your heart?

Mercury enters Virgo on Friday. Virgo is one of the two home signs of Mercury and is also home to our planet of action, Mars, during this time. This should give us some energy to do the work ahead of us for August and our Venus retrograde that is to come.

Do you think Oscar birthday could be in October like Ruby's

Hiya anon-chan! Hmm, that’s not a bad thought. However, this squiggly Pinehead has always been more preferring of the idea of Oscar being either an Easter/Spring-born child as a Taurus horoscope or a New Year Baby.

Originally I had pegged May 15th as a candidate for Oscar’s birthday but the CRWBY showrunners ended up giving that to Weiss. I mean nothing wrong with Oscar sharing a birthday with another one of our main cast of heroes. Still; I think the main consensus is Oscar having his own birthday separate from another character (since he already shares the spotlight with Ozpin, no need for him to share his birthday with another character too!)  Although, him sharing the same astrological sign with another character wouldn’t be bad.  

 January 1st still remains my top pick for a possible birth date for Oscar.

Then again; there is also August 21st that is starting to grow on me. And similar to my Oscar Baby New Year theory, this date also fits for him given his fairytale inspiration.

August 21st is the canonical birthday of Princess Ozma from the Wizard of Oz who Oscar draws inspiration from.

If Oscar shared the same birthday as his Wizard of Oz counterpart then it would make him a Leo horoscope.

If this were canon then Oscar would be the second Leo in our hero group next to Yang Xiao Long whose birthday is July 28th.

I actually think this works quite nicely.  Oscar and Yang do share a few similarities in respect to their personalities and more importantly, their dynamic with Ruby.

And speaking of Ruby---Ruby is a Scorpio as we know her to be.

According to research, the Leo-Scorpio combination is a match of opposites. A Leo is outgoing, warm, and sunny, while a Scorpio is introverted, intense, and emotional. The result of this pairing is a love relationship that will be passionate above all else.

The tidbit about Leo’s being sunny works for Yang obviously since her name literally means “sun” in Chinese and her nickname for her by her father is “sunny little dragon”.

However; some Pineheads have also associated Oscar with the sun and warmth and this contrasts with Ruby who is represented by the moon.

Ruby and Oscar are two smaller, more honest souls who are opposites that also complement each other very well.

Green and Red. Gold and Silver Sun and Moon.

So to actually answer your question m’fam, no I don’t think Oscar’s canonical birthday could be in October like Ruby…since I actually think it would be more fitting if his birthday came before hers in the year.

And as of now, Oscar being a fellow lion born in August--- protective, warm and caring to perfectly contrast yet balance out Ruby (in a much better way than even her older sister by the way) is really, really working for me.

While I will forever love the concept of him being a new year baby, if Oscar is somehow revealed to be a Leo just like Princess Ozma in the Wizard of Oz and just like Yang in RWBY…then I can totally see it. And I totally dig it cause it fits.

But that’s just me. Ya’ll have seen me ping-pong back and forth between a preferred date for the little prince’s day of birth. This is just a new installment.

Current and upcoming astrological events August/September 2023

What to expect…

At the moment we are under Full Moon phase (Full Super Blue Moon in Pisces), where emotions may be high, some tension could be around and we are easily influenced from others feelings and emotions. Projects may see results or endings. Good time for spiritual practices and healing.

Mercury (in Virgo) is in its retrograde motion since August 23, 2023 therefore, problems with traveling and transportation may occur. Communication issues and misunderstandings are likely. Be careful with communication devices and vehicles (from damage, breaks) as well as data, important documents, personal information, passwords which could be lost or stolen. Avoid signing contracts, if possible, if not double check the content for possible mistakes or misleading information. It is a good time for study and research. Mercury will turn direct on September 16, 2023.

Another retrograde planet is Uranus (in Taurus) since August 28, 2023 which suggest that it is a period of personal reflection and rather inner growth, and awakening. This could lead to important realisation and alternative prospective in our lives where we can make major life changes where necessary. Uranus will turn direct on January 27, 2024.

On September 4th, Venus is moving direct, finally…It will be a good time in terms of finances, love and relationships. It is also an appropriate time for beauty procedures and even late summer holidays. On this very same day, however, Jupiter goes Retrograde (in Taurus) which may cause delays when it comes to big- future orientated projects and ventures.

Long distance travels may also slow down or disrupted in one way or another. We may reflect, revise or reassess our believe system and philosophy of life, on a personal level and as a collective. However, this could be a great period of higher learning – further education, university study/degree; religion and philosophy or natural science. It is also a great time for spiritual practises, especially in nature or doing some charity work in food banks/supporting people with basic material needs. Jupiter retrogrades in Taurus could also talk about slowing down the economies, property market and land/agriculture businesses in a global level. On December 30, 2023, Jupiter will turn direct in the same sign.
