I really want Aran to have a redemption arc.

I want Aran to witness the little girl being bullied by the neighborhood kids or emotionally abused by her negligent father, and feel inspired to take her under his wing.

I want Aran to pitch in at Jack's new school, and teach fashion and style.

I want Aran to take self defense and street smart classes along with the children.

I want Rose to see Aran changing his life and building one without his powerful father -- something she could never fathom to do -- and realize that their frenemy relationship means a lot to her. That it's been her constant and her drive to do better.

I want Rose to make amends with Aran by giving him his mother's necklace back, so that Aran can inevitably trade it for Tattoo's life.

And his own freedom.

Help - Tattoos in BLs 2023

I did a quick compilation of Tattoos in BLs for 2022, but this year, I've been slacking, so I thought I'd crowdsource this like the BLs Actors in Drag post.

If you know of any tattoos that weren't featured on the first list, or that have been spotted since, slide into my DMs, please!

I already have my tops so far:

Kiseki's Chen Yi's matching tattoo with his adopted father/boss that depicts a lion with its cub, while his dad's is of a lion with a rose is going on the top of the list

Right next to Never Let Me Go's Palm getting Nueng's name tattooed on him in Mandarin.

I'll have to add Duean's from Fish Upon the Sky (thanks @wen-kexing-apologist) because him and his zodiac sign weren't on the original list.

I might put the Check Out guys on the list this year, but I'm still being petty.

And I think I'm going to have to make a separate post of actors' real tattoos because Mark from Only Friends has three (the bull on his left shoulder, the stingray on his right flank, and some writing on his left bottom torso).

The Chains of Heart's guys with their dramatic asses will be on the list, obviously.

But this dum dum with his misspelled tattoo from Laws of Attraction is the winner.

On a side note, I am loving Tattoo and Arun’s dynamic, and I believe this is something worth highlighting:

he’s teaching him to toughen up

By not being over protective or coddling him, he’s telling Arun what he’d always needed to hear from his own father: that he isn’t useless nor helpless, but perfectly capable of handling himself.

Their relationship might be miles away from turning romantic, but they are bonding in all the ways that matter.

They understand and care for each other in a very realistic way: Arun, by being there for Tattoo and supporting him, and Tattoo, by showing Arun how to overcome things by himself.

They’re both getting what they desperately need from the other, even if they don’t realize it yet.

Oh he's gone

He imprinted on Tattoo bc he showed him minimal, forced compassion. Tattoo... The whole reason this mess is happening in the first place. But Aran is deprived of a sense of self worth that's not tied to money or power to the point where the first man to open his door for him when he was nothing for his heart, and his years, and his devotion.

Dear... When you treat your kids like garbage this is what happens. The bar is in hell.
