May I ask for headcanons you have about each character from Blowback?

This took... a lot longer then I thought it would, I hope these suffice! Doing so many in one post was.. a lot/nm

Akeru - The bandages in her hair while may look silly at first, often play a part in letting her get through places that would normally require a mask as theyre made from the same material. - Various scars all over her body from different things but they are mostly kept out of sight via her clothing - Her hair clips were given to hr by her original clan and she values them as her prized possession as parts of them are real gold - LOVES jokes, doesnt get to tell many though shes just not good at them.

Chinami - I like to think her real hairstyle is much different from any of the wigs she wears, this hairstyle was featured in her concept art but wasn't used... It was revamped to cat-girl hairstyle but I like to think this might've been her hair (sprite below to show my attempt to recreate it)

- Always carries a comb at the LEAST on her. Maybe a brush if she feels like carrying it but it's usually a comb. - Bobby pins. She unintentionally ends up leaving on everywhere she goes. They fall out of her pockets and she's given up picking them up - Does genuinely care for her classmates despite her attitude.... She's been caught once resting against Tato but denies any claims.

Kana - Her ponytail works the same as typical DR Ahoge's work, it's just brought back further. She has it up but even when it's down it can move like one. - Gets protective over her friends; fears she'll lose them if they hang out with others more because all she can do is silly voices.... - Watch out for her though because she'll sometimes use it to mimic tv show characters for fun and while it's accurate hearing a minion out of nowhere gets confusing - Her nicknaming habit originally started from a fellow co-worker when she was younger. They'd give everyone nicknames; her's being kasy(kah-sey)

Kanjiro - Tism. Aliens are his special interests. - He is very blind to the "fighting" Akeru and Kana seem to be having for his attention.. They are both his friends and he tries to spend time with everyone as even as he can. - I like to think he took after his father... His father having been an archer before something happened and he had to stop, but Kanjiro wanted to follow in his footsteps.. and now he's also archer! - He does better shooting a moving target instead of a standing still target; which is why he tries to get Akeru's help with targeting an apple on her head. (typically for archers hitting a moving target is much harder)

Kazuki - His hair is surprisingly really soft even despite how sharp his ahoge looks - His luck doesn't have any direct influence-ability to anything in the world directly unlike the other lucky students; although he has a good knack for finding "lost things" a lot easier. He's found tons of money that has been left behind on streets ect - Struggles with telling people no, often ends up in some situation he totally wasn't prepared for cause of it - Is considered a good listener but half the time it's due to the fact it takes him a moment to process what's going on around him; others will talk his ear off about situations and he listens to it all to piece things together.

Mai - Knows at least two languages but is always willing to learn more. (Currently fluent in eng and jpn) - Runs around with a clipboard always on hand with her, there's tons of notes clipped to it and at the bottom there's an attached white board she keeps around to help her remember things on a schedule. - Her hair clip was a gift from an old friend of hers from an archeology adventure she'd taken part in. - Has a habit of calling everyone her older siblings... No one knows if they're actually older or younger then her since she's so small they just go along with it.

Mikihiko - Petty is 100% a projection of what he wants to be like.. talking through Petty helps his confidence - Coming to the academy was really the first time Miki was able to dress the way he wants to without pressure - Designed his outfit himself with the ability from his doll making, although it was difficult he has a pretty solid feeling for designing things! - Has a collection of press-on nails that he's kept from his sisters because he struggles to let go of everything entirely. He also has a habit of chewing on his real nails really bad.

Misako - Is actually aware she's related to Kazuki, and since they're siblings her hair is just as soft as his is. - Her cat tie was a gift from the museum she works with as an anniversary thank you for her dedication to the place. - She went with her and Kazuki's father, and Kazuki ended up with mother but went into the care of their grandfather - Has a pretty big watch collection that she doesn't talk about; a big fear of running late/running out of time be it for doing something at work of getting to a place on time. She's very punctual because of this. - Sometimes has information overload where she'll fizzle out, doesn't even bother putting her hair up and just walk around her usual duties in more of a daze (someone please stop her)

Ryo - His earring are matching with his brother, they weren't his idea originally but he can't say no to his brother. - Batman fan.... If you don't know the source of this... Well, I can't say really. - Went to a private school before Hopes Peak entry; the change from private to high-rank who allows so many people through their doors is a BIG adjustment for him. - It takes a REALLY long time for him to open up to his classmates if at all; he'll use note-passing to talk or use sign language to try and communicate before he actually starts speaking.

Seina - Despite her friendliness, her upbringing has made it very hard for people to understand her and for her to understand them. She tends to talk more fancy as the events she often found herself at tended to be big parties hosted by either her family or friends of family. - She often jokes around that she's adopted Kana like her little sister. They can usually be seen messing around together, the later helping her feel more relaxed like a normal girl. - She's a VERY curious girl; picks up a lot of random things shes found on adventures, usually it's various stones. - The gem she wears is a Amethyst, she believes ghosts can exist anywhere and uses the gem to both protect herself and keep calm to try and not startle them as well

Shozo - He definitely holds the record for fastest cube solving. It doesn't matter which dimensions. He holds it. - Tired so often that he tries to avoid his classmates since they aren't "useful" enough to him. He's exhausted from solving cubes so much even though it's second nature for him and he does it every chance he can. - Has accidentally ended up skipping classes from sleeping in trying to fix his sleep schedule... Always gets reprimanded by Misako for it. - ambidextrous. I refuse to think otherwise. Will write with one hand, cube with the other because of this.

Tato - Likely can tell if a crop is close to expiring just by looking at how it's aged - Picks the sweetest and freshest strawberries for Chinami because they remind him of her; using various formula's hes gained from farming to find them - He's very used to the sun but even with his sun hat; he burns very easily causing him to get anxious being outside without his hat on. - He absolutely suggests for a school trip to come to the farm since there's tons they could learn and it would be cool to show everyone what he knows in real time!

Torae - Can tell the smell of certain makers that were used when they're in the mix of drying (like if it was 'dry-erase' or sharpie) from how often they were used to modify blue prints. - Isn't afraid to just pick up one of her classmates to stop them from doing things that might cause trouble later down the line, but is also more then willing to use her strength to help get the other up higher if they need something and a steady hand. - Do. Not. Let. Her. Chicken. Fight. Whether she's on top or bottom she's terrifying if you try and play chicken fight in the pool. - Goes for morning runs; usually drags a random-unsuspecting classmate along with her.

Toshiro - He rarely takes off his necklace; It was given to him by the "only person who believed I could manage to get into this school." This being said, he takes his earrings out at night to prevent breakage and getting jabbed with them while he sleeps - Plays with his hair when he's nervous but it's usually the two dyed strands he plays with the most. - Spends his free time doing laps in the court yard to keep in shape - Despite seeming intimidating, he's usually the one who manages to get the class going when it's time for gym class. Turning it into a competition just enough to get even Shozo motivated to work out.

Yosaku - He gets cold very, very easily. Having to bundle up even on warmer days and winter is absolutely abysmal for him. - Collaborates with Tato from time to time to help make sure that their classmates are getting proper meals in their systems. - Has bonded with Akeru from him telling jokes out in the open to 'practice' and noticed her lingering around and laughing at them from time to time. - Helps Seina create songs for her to cover with her violin while at the academy and occasionally Kana has joined in and the three of them creating some fun song covers together. He has also made a little social media platform for this but it's under an alias to keep both girls hidden from public.

Yukari - In her bookbag there's usually her own copy of her book, and some other "every day supplies" being pencil, notebook paper, bandages ect. - She prefers to sit back and watch how her classmates interact with each other rather then gaining direct friends herself. Often finding herself to be 'too awkward' in comparison. - When she has a crush she tends to cling to them a lot more... One of the few people she can "trust" and will often read their emotions and begin to talk for them out of habit. - Usually has her nails painted a very light pink with a shine to where they almost look natural but you can tell something is different if you look closer.

Os tatos estavam quase todos amortecidos. Os sobreviventes só se permitiam tocar em casos de extrema necessidade, como a luta corporal, o assassinato-à-unha e a cópula. Fazia tempo, ninguém mais fazia amor. Fornicava-se. Desopilava-se. Ao menor sinal de vida pulsando nas entranhas maternas, os embriões distraídos da calamidade vigente naquele mundo extra-útero eram sumariamente cauterizados pelas clavas flamejantes manipuladas por freiras dissidentes da antiga igreja. O antigo teatro dos padres prestava-se agora como uma arena para a disputa mortal entre canídeos enfurecidos, avidamente estumados à raiva absoluta pelos mentores da jogatina brutal. Ninguém possuía mais um patrimônio. Pareciam possuídos. Dentro dos apartamentos morava uma família em cada quarto, uma mistura lasciva e promíscua. Num deles, um sujeito de hábitos estranhos contraíra núpcias com um porco duroc que pesava mais de dez arrobas. Era pesado viver, companheiros, acreditem.

Tudo isso porque ninguém mais se indignava com atrocidade nenhuma. Ninguém mais chorava por dó ou por desespero de causa. Só se vertiam lágrimas por conta de alguma espécie de dor física lancinante sofrida na própria carne, tipo uma mordida, tipo uma paulada, tipo um esfaqueamento. No final das contas, as almas já tinham se dissipado. As que não tinham se dissipado, estavam anestesiadas para sempre. Isso explicava a suposta fuga do Pai do Paraíso.

Kalau ditanya soal kebudayaan asli Indonesia yang paling gua banggain adalah seni merajah tubuh alias tato, banyak orang yang mungkin belum tau kalau tato tertua di dunia ada di Mentawai. Banyak buku-buku yang mengatakan kalau peradaban tato tertua adalah berasal dari Mesir, tapi kenyataannya jauh sebelum itu bangsa proto Melayu sudah melakukan seni merajah tubuh di kepulauan Mentawai dengan tinta yang terbuat dari campuran daun pisang dan arang tempurung kelapa.

Pertanyaan berikutnya adalah kenapa kalau seni tato itu termasuk kebudayaan Indonesia tapi kok malah menjadi stigma di negeri sendiri? 

Jawabannya adalah:

Karena stereotip buatan yang dibuat oleh sekelompok orang dengan alasan politis. Pada jaman orde baru, tato kental identik dengan kriminal, anggapan itu masih ada sampai sekarang tapi tidak sebesar dulu, awalnya orang yang masuk penjara akan dibuatkan tato di badannya sebagai penanda dia pernah berbuat kriminal, kultur ini sengaja dibuat oleh pemerintah pada masa itu, seperti pelabelan “haram”, dogma ini semakin menguat ketika sebagian besar orang tua kita mendidik kita agar segera menjauhi orang yang bertato.

Kemudian munculah Petrus alias penembak misterius. Petrus ini bertugas “menjaga stabilitas keamanan” dengan cara gerilya, kebanyakan dari kalangan militer, seperti hakim pada malam hari, menembak mati orang yang bertato karena dianggap preman. Lucu kan? Diberi label napi dengan cara ditato lalu ditembak ketika sudah bebas, sungguh betapa insecure dan parno level dewa pemerintah kita pada saat itu.

Tapi sekarang jaman sudah berubah, tato sudah bisa sedikitnya diterima di masyarakat, penerimaan ini hadir seiring berubahnya imej secara visual, dari gambar tato dengan design batik atau vignet dengan tinta memudar dan keloid menimbun, menjadi penuh warna dengan design-design yang menarik mata orang yang melihat. Orang-orang seperti Tora Sudiro menurut gua cukup berjasa dalam perubahan ini, imej tato yang sangar hilang seketika pas melihat Tora Sudiro yang tatoan banyak tapi lucu dan keren yang cukup bisa membuat ibu-ibu histeris. Perubahan imej tato ini juga ada karena usaha keras yang dilakukan para aktivis dan seniman yang mengkampanyekan tato sebagai bentuk ekspresi diri bukan penandaan kriminal.

Ekspresi diri ini malah terkadang agak rancu dengan tuntutan eksistensi, banyak orang yang bertato hanya untuk terlihat keren semata, hanya untuk pelengkap atribut hipster semata, hanya untuk bisa dapetin cewek yang banyak, bebas cuy! Sebebas lu ngomong apa aja entah itu hoax atau bukan setelah era reformasi, sebebas artis Hip Hop yang baru jadi kaya terus make perhiasan emas gede-gede trus nepok-nepok pantat ebony, haha namanya juga geger budaya, ya bebas aja. 

Gua pribadi bukan orang yang pridenya kegedean karena tato, merasa lebih keren daripada orang yang enggak bertato, sama aja kok, satu-satunya perbedaan antara orang bertato dan yang enggak bertato adalah, orang bertato enggak pernah nanya bahkan ngejudge “Kok lo enggak tatoan, sih?!’

Gua juga terkadang suka ketawa sendiri sih sama orang yang pridenya kegedean karena tato, fenomena yang sama ketika melihat para feminis melawan patriarki dengan matriarki. Sambil Ngomong “Welcome to the club!” ketika melihat temannya baru pertama kali tatoan, tato baru sedikit tapi diunjuk-unjukinnya sudah kaya lagi ngunjukin raport anaknya yang bagus ke orang-orang. Namanya juga poser, norak itu emang sepaket. Senorak mental judgemental yang kental pada sebagian orang yang baru berhenti merokok dan mualaf... Sotoy!

Yang menarik menurut penglihatan gua, perbedaan besar antara orang tatoan jaman dulu dan sekarang adalah jaman dulu orang kalau membuat tato pertama kali itu dari tempat yang enggak keliatan/dalem baju lalu kemudian merambah keluar baju, kalau jaman sekarang kebalikannya, di tempat yang keliatan dulu bahkan kalau bisa di tempat yang ekstrim kaya di leher, punggung tangan dll, kalau bajunya dibuka mah dalemannya polos, badannya enggak ada tato. Perubahan ini terjadi karena manurut gua yang seperti gua jalasin di atas, perubahan kultur dan anggapan tentang tato itu sendiri yang sudah mulai diterima oleh masyarakat, yang kedua adalah karena teknologi,

Jaman dulu kalau mau ditato itu pake mesin rakitan, menggunakan longsongan pulpen, dinamo tamiya, jarum jahit dan benang sebagai penahan tinta, tintanya pun memakai tinta rotring, satu jarum untuk bikin outline dan ngeblok warna, beuhh sakitnya minta ampun! (Katanya).

Kalau sekarang sudah enak, alat-alat tato sudah canggih, sudah pake mesin magnum, dengan jarum berjumlah belasan, bikin tato jadi lebih cepat dan enggak sesakit dulu.

Dan karena itulah bisnis tato sekarang ini cukup menjanjikan. Jasa membuat tato di Indonesia hitungannya ada yang perjam ada juga yang persentimeter persegi, perjamnya ada yang 1juta bahkan lebih dan untuk hitungan persentimeter perseginya ada yang bertarifkan sepuluh ribu rupiah bahkan lebih, ya kira-kira untuk bisa membuat tato full sepunggung dibutuhkan biaya puluhan juta rupiah. Lah, kok tato mahal banget sih? Nah, ini menurut gua pertanyaan yang harusnya enggak perlu ditanyakan, jasa membuat tato itu sama seperti melukis cuma bedanya ini dilakukan di media yang namanya kulit manusia dan sifatnya permanen, jadi memang dibutuhkan skill yang enggak asal-asalan dari sang serniman tato. Kalau kata Sailor Jerry “Good work ain’t cheap. Cheap work ain’t good”

Pertanyaan soalan tato yang harusnya enggak perlu ditanyakan juga adalah “kalau bikin tato, dosa enggak sih?” sebenarnya gua sudah cukup bosen dengan pertanyaan ini, terlebih kalau menyangkut soal keyakinan, namanya juga keyakinan, apa yang lu yakini ya silahkan, apa yang gua yakini ya terserah gua aja, seperti mendebatkan bagusan Nikon apa Canon, Mac apa Windows, iOS apa Android, enggak akan kelar dan enggak bakal kelar! Tapi enggak apa-apa, gua akan sedikit menjelaskan soal tato itu dosa apa enggak dan apakah sah untuk sholat.

Mitos soal tato itu diharamkan oleh agama karena menyakiti diri sendiri.

Menurut gua, sakit apa enggaknya itu kaya permasalahan yang mana yang bagus, mana yang jelek, mana yang cantik, mana yang buruk, itu semua adalah persoalan persepsi yang sangat-sangat subjektif, menurut lu sakit mungkin aja menurut gue nggak, lagipula banyak juga kok orang-orang yang ingin ditato lagi karena kangen akan sakitnya, geli-geli sakit gimana gitu. 

Mitos soal tato menutupi pori-pori dan membuat wudhu jadi enggak sah karena air enggak bisa masuk. Menurut gua, dan menurut penelitian ilmiah dan logika akal sehat, Tinta tato hanya masuk di lapisan kulit kedua atau Dermis dan TIDAK menutup pori-pori, dan keringat tetap bisa keluar sewajarnya di kulit yang ada tinta tato. 

Kalau misalnya tinta tato itu menutupi pori-pori kulit, panas tubuh akan tertahan di dalam, dan orang bisa mati. bener ga? Alhamdulillah gua belum pernah denger ada yang mati akibat tato. 

Mitos soal tato enggak boleh sholat karena enggak sah: Gue yakin seyakin-yakinnya, semua orang berhak untuk beribadah, bertemu dan berbicara kepada Tuhannya. Kaya-miskin, jahat-baik, bertato atau tidak bertato. Semua sama. Gua yakin :)

Oke, kesimpulannya apakah tato itu menandakan seseorang menjadi kriminal apa enggak? Ya, tato itu kriminal untuk orang-orang yang berpikiran sempit, tato itu kriminal kalau habis bikin tato lu langsung kabur enggak bayar dan duit yang tadinya buat bayar tato lu buat beli narkoba dan ketika lu lagi high karena narkoba lu memutuskan untuk bergabung dengan ISIS.

So Tsumugi…you know how Blowback was cancelled back in your world? Did you ever make any predictions on what you think would have happened?

Alright, so...as you might already know, in Chapter 1, Yosaku Fujita is killed by Seina Datenashi, and in Chapter 2, Kana Ise is killed by Mikihiko Koyasunaga.

In the third chapter, Mae Yurino and Tato Shimagami are killed by Chinami Hasami.

Chapter 4, Ryo Koumori is killed by Kanjiro Hayamoto.

In Chapter 5, Shozo Asayoru commits suicide with the unwilling help of Torae Akatsubaki, like a Nagito and Chiaki type situation.

And lastly, Chapter 6, Akeru Yozora is revealed as the traitor, and is betrayed and killed by the mastermind. The mastermind is revealed to be Yukari Koime, and she is killed.

Which means that Kazuki Watanabe, Toshiro Takahara and Misako Rokuhana remain the only survivors.

UTDP Season 2 Begins!

I’ve finally done it. All the sprites I need are at the ready to be used for some weird, funky interactions. Season 2 of UTDP is underway!

Now, I hope with this you’ll all be submitting your own requests, but since we’re about to enter the new series, it’s probably best if we go over the rules. Under the cut will be a list of rules that will apply when it comes to requesting certain interactions, and I’ve already got a list of requests at the ready, but I welcome more. If you want to request an interaction, then I recommend you go over these rules once more just to be sure.

I see you’re interested...? Well, just so you know, this will be a bit long on one part specifically.

Rule 1: Only the characters listed below will be allowed to be requested.

Not every Danganronpa character will allowed to be requested, particularly obscure one’s who don’t have a whole lot of character to them. However, my goal for this series is to include as many characters as possible. This is a long list too, so if there’s a certain character that you’re looking for, the list below is in Alphabetical Order by first name, so you can search for it that way. Not only that, but after each name will be the game/source material where that character is from, in case you don’t recognize some of them.

Rule 2: Only 3 characters are allowed per interaction.

In order to replicate the game to the best of it’s ability, each interaction may only allow 2 or 3 characters and no more. As of such, I hope the requests will abide by this rule, since I’ve gotten requests before involving way more than three.

Rule 3: Credit for all fan-made sprites go to their original owners.

If you want to use the sprites I use for your own projects, then I have no problems with that personally, but just to be clear, most of these sprites aren’t mine. If their not from the original game, then they’re fan-creations and the rights go to their original creators. A new page has opened up on my Tumblr where all the sprites original sources are located, and you can go and check them out there.

Rule 4: The New System.

As I’ve made clear before, not all interactions are requests. I have a long list of interactions that I pre-wrote for this series a while ago, and I intend to get all of those done. As of such I will be going by a new system. I’ll be uploading two interactions per day from now on. One will be a request, and the other will be one of my writes. I’ve delayed people enough, so that is why I am going to be going with this system so I can stay on track.

Rule 5: Reddit Requests will no longer be accepted.

As unfortunate as it may seem to some, I will no longer be accepting requests delivered to me through Reddit. Only asks that are sent directly through Tumblr will be allowed now, but I WILL finish all requests on Reddit before I end it. The ban is in place as of now though, so if you request through the Reddit link, I will not answer your request.

Rule 6: Additional Rules may be added as this series goes on depending on feedback.

This isn’t put in place because I don’t trust people, but say for example there’s a character from the list that isn’t on it that you REALLY think deserves to be on it, then let me know, and I will consider it. Same goes for any other aspect of this rule list.
