⚜ FIRST MEETING [A3! - WINTER TROUPE] ⚜
┌── ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ••✎•• ──────────
characters: tsumugi tsukioka | tasuku takato | hisoka mikage | homare arisugawa | azuma yukishiro | guy summary: the details of your first meeting with your future mate. warnings: pretty much what you'd expect with the winter troupe. rating: sfw a/n: i have no words for how difficult the winter troupe is, not really in terms of coming up with ideas but in terms of not making everything incredibly sad. they're all babies and i want to hug them. so i made most of the alphas want to do that too.
~🎕
└── ˏˋ°•*⁀➷ ••✎•• ──────────
≿━━━━༺❀ tsumugi tsukioka ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were an aspiring musical director, still looking for your permanent place in the industry. but for the time being, you were doing gigs at random theaters who wanted to try out musicals, and lots and lots of schools.
✿ you were 22, the same age as tsumugi. you'd graduated as a director a year prior, though you'd not had much luck finding actual work, much like tsumugi.
✿ you'd been at a performance of a local theatre group that you'd been helping with their first musical. it was the very first one, and you couldn't have been more proud of the kids. one of them had invited their tutor, tsumugi, to come see the performance. you happened to spot him in the audience, looking enraptured by the acting, and decided to go up to him to chat.
✿ tsumugi didn't initially realize that you were the director (you looked like a substitute teacher to him), so he felt pretty free to gush about the performance as much as possible. so when you invited him to see the next one you were directing, he almost had a heart attack.
✿ tsumugi, even before meeting you, could tell how passionate you were about your craft, just by how passionate the kids were about it. so, meeting you, actually meeting you, he felt some spark light up in him. he's always loved passionate people. tsumugi was just so cute, like a little flower who looked so lost in the midst of all those people. it all just made you want to nurture him, even if you didn't know in what way yet. but you truly felt that he was special, he was important.
≿━━━━༺❀ tasuku takato ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were an ambitious little theatre armorer, who'd just gotten your big break in the industry. you'd been completely sword crazy most of your life so when you were as a teenager informed that you could just make them professionally, you were all in.
✿ you were 23, a year older than tasuku. you'd been working as a theatre armorer for two years, but you'd not really been successful prior to getting your break at god-za.
✿ you'd just been hired at god-za, for their next play that involved a medieval setting, and thus they needed swords. you were extremely excited to make them some. and the first one you needed to take measurements for happened to be tasuku, who got a faceful of measuring tape the moment he stepped into your office.
✿ you became a rather familiar face to tasuku, as the main lead in most plays he needed to see you often. and while he wasn't the chattiest person, you loved to gush to him about his performances and the way he looked with a sword in his hand.
✿ tasuku did not take long to realize that you had a bit of a crush on him (and his arms), which initially made him a bit uncomfortable. but getting to know you, and your passion for theatre, he might've grown a crush on you too. not that he'd ever admit it. you fell in love with tasuku at first sight, he was your ideal omega. strong, excellent looking with a sword in his hand, what more could you want? and then you saw him on stage, and it was over for you, completely.
≿━━━━༺❀ hisoka mikage ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a wellness counselor, you'd pretty much just started your practice. well, start was a strong word. you were still looking for a place to open up properly, but you were advertising to clients already for home appointments.
✿ you were 25. you'd just graduated as a counselor not even six months ago. hisoka was 25 too (?), having just arrived at the mankai company.
✿ you got a sudden call from someone by the name of izumi tachibana, who hired you to come by her company to help with a sudden emergency. though you didn't expect the emergency to be a homeless man with amnesia and a serious case of the sleeps. frankly, hisoka was barely awake when you arrived and introduced yourself.
✿ you ended up staying with the mankai company (and eventually became one of the winter troupe's actors), mostly just so you could keep an eye on hisoka. but also because you grew increasingly worried about everyone else in the house.
✿ hisoka did not think much about you at first. obviously, he was half-asleep when he first met you. but once he began to live with you (izumi put you as roommates once you joined the company) he started to like, a lot. you bought him marshmallows. you were mostly worried. hisoka was... a lot, and also nothing at the same time. it took three days until you managed to get a proper sentence out of him. and he also kept stealing your marshmallows, which you forgave once you looked at his cute face.
≿━━━━༺❀ homare arisugawa ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a composer, working with the mankai company. while originally you'd joined just to compose music for their plays, you'd recently become interested in acting and wanted to join their new troupe.
✿ you were 30 years old, a whole three years older than homare. you'd been a composer for almost 15 years, though you'd been one professionally for ten of those.
✿ you actually met during one of your violin performances, one of the rare ones you were still doing independently. he'd been in the audience, and afterwards came to you to gush about your performance and the inspiration it gave him. and then he recited one of his... poems to you.
✿ you ended up seeing homare around a lot (he claimed you were his new muse) and when the company started looking for members you immediately dragged homare to the audition. he was perfect (and the only possible roommate who wouldn't mind your late night jam sessions).
✿ seeing you on stage, focused on your instrument and playing the most beautiful music ever, struck something very deep inside of homare. he'd never had so much inspiration before. he didn't know the word for the feeling, but would later realize that it was love. to you... well, homare was eccentric, but in a good way. you rather liked his weird habits, and his appreciation for your craft. it'd been a long time since anyone felt that way about your music. he made you feel warm again.
≿━━━━༺❀ azuma yukishiro ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a bartender, you'd just started working at a local bar after... well, let's just say you'd led a very interesting life and hadn't had an actual job in forever. you'd just recently moved to japan to get away from that life.
✿ you were... you didn't remember how old you were actually. you'd lost a couple of years, so to speak, but that's a whole another story. and nobody knows how old azuma is, ever.
✿ how you met is simple really, azuma was a customer of yours. you'd literally just started working, and he was the first customer you ever had. he sat down in front of you, and asked you to make him your signature drink. obviously, you didn't have one, so you improvised. and that's how 'winter camellia'-cocktail was born.
✿ azuma became a regular of yours, showing up at least once a week to more or less flirt with you. you both became an essential part of each other's lives, even though you both lead completely separate lives outside of the bar.
✿ as most of your customers did, azuma found you calming, someone he could talk to about anything. not that he did, but he felt like he could. you were just what he needed in life after a hard day, just a smile from you could make his day. azuma was the prettiest person you'd ever met, and his flirting didn't help your immediate crush in anyway. but your... life choices kept you from ever thinking of yourself as proper mate material for someone like him.
≿━━━━༺❀ guy ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were a florist, you'd been one for as long as you could remember. you'd inherited the shop from your oma and appa, though you'd recently been recruited for the winter troupe as you'd been providing the company with flower arrangements previously and became interested in acting as well.
✿ you were somewhere in your thirties, at least as far as you were aware. but everyone really got the feeling that you and guy were around the same age, but neither of you really knew.
✿ you were delivering flowers to the company when guy arrived, and as the only member who could proficiently speak english and zahran you were forced to greet him. the only problem was that you were carrying several pots of flowers, which made for a bit of a situation. thankfully, guy helped you before you dropped the delicate ranunculus'.
✿ guy was assigned to room in your dorm, which you didn't mind as long as he didn't mind the numerous flowers in there. though to your surprised, he seemed to love them, even if it was hard to tell. and he was excellent help with all your plants.
✿ guy technically didn't think much of you. all your passions seemed to be towards plants, and nothing else. but he quickly came to realize that you were actually the one in the troupe who could pick up on his emotions the best and actually put words to them. guy was... difficult. not as a roommate, or as a person, just to communicate with. he was very different from the only other person you spoke zahran with, but you found him refreshing. and his love of plants made you love him just a bit.

Event | Sanrio characters x A3! | Chapter 9
Tsumugi: Ah, Sakuya-kun, just the person I was looking for. Look, look.
Sakuya: What is it?
Tsumugi: Look, right here.
Sakuya: Waah, are those strawberries?
Tsumugi: Yeah. I thought it was almost time for them since the flowers were blooming just the other day.
Tsumugi: I’ll just rinse it off and… Here, Sakuya-kun.
Sakuya: Thank you so much. It looks really good.
Sakuya: …It’s so tasty!
Tsumugi: I’ll try one too. …Mm.
Tsumugi: It really is good. And sweet too.
Tsumugi: Don’t tell anyone that we ate them because those were the only two.
Sakuya: Fufu, got it.
Sakuya: …Um, Tsumugi-san.
Tsumugi: Hm?
Sakuya: I was wondering if I could talk to you about the upcoming performance…
Tsumugi: Of course.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Sakuya: …So what can we do to help the children leave with a happy feeling and a smile on their faces?
Tsumugi: Do you also want to leave with a smile on your face, Sakuya-kun?
Sakuya: …Yeah.
Tsumugi: I see… That’s a tough one.
Sakuya: I know, right…
Tsumugi: It’s hard to have fun until the sad feelings are shut out.
Tsumugi: We’re able to move the audience’s hearts, but we can’t control them.
Tsumugi: Of course, I think it’s important to perform with somewhat of a feeling of control.
Sakuya: Is that so…
Tsumugi: But I don’t think feeling sad is a bad thing.
Sakuya: Eh?
Tsumugi: It’s like, we have lonely feelings because of the existence of happy feelings. We feel sadness because we have kindness to empathize and understand each other.
Tsumugi: It’s the same with anger, fighting hurts because of the desire to protect.
Tsumugi: All of those feelings are two sides of the same coin.
Tsumugi: I think that negative feelings are born and exist because of positive feelings.
Tsumugi: The same goes for you, myself, and of course, children. As long as we’re alive, those feelings will be born.
Tsumugi: So I think it’s okay to affirm the loneliness of kids.
Sakuya: …!
Sakuya: (I see… I feel like I’m on the verge of figuring out some answers.)
Sakuya: (But… I don’t know if I can do that just yet.)
Tsumugi: It’ll be okay. Let’s ask everyone about what you want to do, Sakuya-kun.
Tsumugi: We’ve been through bigger challenges together in the past. This is nothing compared to those.
Sakuya: Tsumugi-san… Thank you so much!
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Izumi: Alright then, let’s start practice.
Sakuya: Um! Sorry, but can I have a bit of time before practice? I have something I want to tell everyone.
Hisoka: Something you want to tell us…?
Izumi: Got it. Sakuya-kun, take it away.
Sakuya: Okay.
Sakuya: …I want to make some changes to the script.
Sakuya: Before the collab was decided on, I couldn’t forget about the show we all saw here together.
Sakuya: Both the kids and adults were smiling and looked so excited and happy.
Sakuya: But in reality, behind every happy feeling, there’s a sad one.
Sakuya: I’m sure it’s hard for kids to leave such a paradise-like place like Puroland.
Muku: Yeah…
Misumi: They might get sad and cry.
Sakuya: But then I thought of something like “looking forward to seeing you again”…
Sakuya: Something that lets you bring home a sad feeling, but also a happy one. That’s the kind of story I want to tell.
Sakuya: …What do you think…?
Izumi: Sakuya-kun…!
Tenma: Looks like you found it.
Banri: Never thought you’d figure it out so fast.
Tsumugi: Yeah, I think it’s a great idea.
Izumi: I also think it’s a great idea!
Tasuku: It’s a very Sakuma-like idea.
Homare: I’d like to convey that to all the children and adults.
Sakuya: What do you think, Tsuzuru-kun…?
Tsuzuru: You’re finally depending on us. …Well, if it’s your thoughts, Sakuya, kinda got no choice but to respond to them.
Sakuya: Guys… Thank you so much!
Sakuya: Kitty-chan and the rest of you… What do you think?
Kitty: Your feelings are very wonderful, Sakuya-kun. I’m sure that you’re the right person to convey this.
Sakuya: Eh… Me?
Purin: I agree~♪ I can’t wait to see what kinda story it’ll be.
Sakuya: Are you… Really sure?
Kuromi: What are you talking about!? It’s better not to lock up the things you wanna do and say.
Kuromi: So do e~verything you wanna do!
Cinnamon: We all wanna support your feelings too, Sakuya-kun ♪
Cogimyun: Cogimyun still isn’t very good at acting, but Cogimyun will try her best myun…!
Daniel: Don’t worry about it. Everyone is getting really fired up! Let’s make this the best story ever.
Sakuya: Everyone, thank you so much…!
Banri: Aight, now that that’s settled, let’s get to work on figurin’ out what we wanna change.
Tsuzuru: Yeah. Director and Sakuya, do you have a minute?
Sakuya: Yeah!
Chikage: Well then, we’ll just keep practice going to the best of our abilities.
Izumi: Perfect!
Kumon: I’m all ready to move~! Let’s all gather up~!
Kuromi: We’re all ready to give it our all too!
Cinnamon: Hip, hip, hooray!
Sakuya: (I’m sure it’ll be great. It’ll be the kind of performance that will make everyone smile and have a better tomorrow.)

I tried the A3! Ship chart except my brain is always on overdrive so I don't know what's going on. Everything here is under aspec lens so nothing is romantic unless stated otherwise.
Detailed explanation under the cut.
This basically means that they have a label on their relationship but they're alterous. I think BanTsumu are boyfriends and possibly married in the future. To be honest, I don't really care what their labels is but I think they're the type to put a name on their relationship.
Established:
BanTsumu is my ultimate OTP, I just like the peaceful vibes they give. Tsumugi becomes a lot more playful when he's around Banri and Banri is uncharacteristically always tied around Tsumu's little finger. They're polar opposites but they find comfort in each other like how Banri helped calm Tsumugi down with a cup of coffee when he was nervous and how Tsumugi makes Banri feel safe enough to release his worries. As an aspec mf their dynamic feeds my soul!
Romantic:
1. SakyoIzu: they're not really my top choice but if I'm gonna ship them, I think they would be romantic.
2. TaiYuki: Taichi definitely has the fattest crush on Yuki and I think once he realizes it, he's gonna want something more out of it.
3. TsumuHaru: Tsumugi and Haruto just scratch an itch in my head😔 I think they're the type of couple who tease each other endlessly, act like they're done with each other's antics, and they constantly bicker but at the end of the day, they understand each other most.
OTP:
1. ChikaIzu: MY ALTEROUS BELLS 🫶 RING SO HARD FOR THESE TWO. They are family and they would do anything for each other. They're not shy to reach out when the other needs help, they make promises with each other, they have a playful dynamic, they bond with each other even in the most mundane settings... MY BRAIN JUST HURTS WHEN I THINK OF THEM because I want what they have!!!
2. AzuTasu: Tasuku is just so down bad for Azuma, man. LIKE WHAT EVEN IS THE ENTIRETY OF NOCTURNALITY? Not only that, Tasuku is DENSE but for some reason, he's always one step ahead of comforting Azuma. Also, why does he call everyone by their last name EXCEPT AZUMA 😭 LIKE WHAT THE HELL? Don't even get me started with Azuma's semi playful flirting and Tasuku just responds in the most sincere way THEN AZU GETS ALL FLUSTERED? Whenever these two interact, I just want someone to punch me.
3. HisoIta: I saw this ship one day, thought about it for 10 minutes, and hopped in the ship. I love the idea of spoiler x spoiled. Itaru is SO good at spoiling people and Hisoka is like a cat that needs to be spoiled rotten. Hisoka is also the type of person who will let you do your thing but he'll try to help you in his own terms when he feels like you need help. I like that cause I think Itaru likes his own space and pace so Hisoka is perfect for that!!
4. ME AND KASUMI : look, I know her wife died and I'm sorry but like... If the triplets need a stepmom just hook me up.
Like:
1. JuTen: I just love the mutual respect they have for each other 🛐
2. HisoSaku: TWO ANGELS TOGETHER IS NEVER THE WRONG MOVE!!! Hisoka has this vibe that he's always carrying something heavy and I think whenever he's around Sakuya, he relaxes and he likes watching over how pure Sakuya is about everything. I think if Sakuya asks Hisoka for a favor, he would skip his sleep just to fulfill it.
3. BanSaku: THESE TWO JUST.... *SQUISH* I have no words except AHHHHHHH KEEP LOOKING OUT FOR EACH OTHER!!!
4. TenSaku: Tenma's crush on Sakuya in Act 1 never died on me. Sakuya's acting was acknowledged to not be the best at that time but he just saw how pure and passionate Sakuya is for acting so he felt inspired. HE TALKED TO HIM TO RESPECTFULLY TOO LIKE 🙉🙉 Y'all make me crazy.
5. CitoTsuzu: Citron please keep looking after our playwright boy. He may complain all the time but he looks up to you so much and I know you adore him for all he is.
Poly:
1. Fuyupoly: Fuyu is so unserious 💀 I know they're supposed to be the mature group but I swear I was never fully sold on that idea. I think they'd all live together with their shenanigans until they die.
2. CitoIzuChika: This is kinda complicated but like Citron and Izumi are bros, super tight bros, they always go out together and hang out— everyone is convinced they are together. Chikage and Izumi are the same but their dynamic is more serious than the crackhead energy CitoIzu gives. At one point, they just started going on dates together and now they have this giant queerplatonic poly/polybromantic thing going on.
I do not know how my brain cooked this up so please don't ask.
BroTP:
1. MukuYuki: MY BABIES 🫶 I want them to be there for each other forever
2. KumoAzuShift: The Bois hanging out.
3. TaiAza: the bois hanging out 2. Azami better be Taichi's wingman for Yuki!
4. BanIta: I think this is very common but it's mostly because of their gaming ventures.
5. BanTen: Their interests line up really well and I just love watching them talk tbh
6. ChikaIta: Please roast each other even more 🤗 also, Chikage is Hisoka's brother but Hisoka is with Itaru. I like them getting along but also I like Chikage being like "what the fuck" everytime he sees a new side of Hisoka when he's with Itaru. Maybe we can have either side ranting to Chikage about their relationship problems and Chikage is like "just fucking talk to each other my god".
7. MasuSaku: THE OG LEADS
8. MasuTange: Tangerine is so cute and I love love love him with Masumi. Masumi is so >:( while Tangerine is a ball of sunshine!! I need more interactions with the two of these!! LIKE AT LEAST SHOW US THEM CALLING EACH OTHER 😭
9. CitoIzu: MY ULTIMATE BRO OF ALL BROTPs! 🛐 These two will probably do anything together and I mean anything. I'm convinced they'd get married while skydiving just to prove a point they're making. They are besties who enable each other's bad ideas and I love it. My favorite genre is dumbasses being dumbasses.
NOTP:
1. JuBan : I don't hate JuBan but I have bad experiences with JuBan fans that kinda ruined the ship for me :( I'm sorry it's not them, it's the fans that terrorize my BanTsumu posts in the past.
Parent:
1-4. Kumon and Muku w Guy and Tsumugi: I just want the winter adults to look after my chaotic chuunibyou son and his cute but equally chaotic cousin. Guy looking after anyone in general is adorable to be honest and I like Tsumugi's teacher side.
#a3#a3! act addict actors#a3!#a3! game#act addict actors#a3! ships#i talk a lot#honestly if you give me ANY rarepair theres a 80% chance ill agree w u#brainspilling so i dont carry these in my exams

Bored and in the middle of procrastinating, then i got a silly idea to make a (not so) tierlist of a3 x hsr combo like what would a3 boys' path would be. Also to make this blog looks more alive xoxo
There are two types here. Left is their path as playable characters (aka ur standard dps/support/survival units), right is their path as in mindset/philosophy/religion/you name it.
Ofc this is all headcanons of mine and what i personally think about them. Gotta admit im getting rusty with their characterizations since ive been in a very long a3 dormancy... Im most confident with my assesment towards fuyu, then haru, aki close second to haru, and im least confident with natsu (sorry natsu peeps). And surely there are very stereotypical takes i put here
Elaborations or thoughts-behind-the-screen under this
First off, the game mechanic path:
I think i based this one on a mixed consideration of physical prowess + tendency when doing something, like manifestation of thoughts, or so they say
Destruction trio, ofc we all know their physical strength. Guy is like default dps in my head and i feel like his mechanic can be somewhat blade-like (im projecting two of my faves here, if im not obvious enough). Misumi reminds me of yunli with her parry kits, idk it just seems so misumi. Juza can be any destruction unit available in game rn, like hes canonically the most feared delinquent in that area around ouka and even the neighbouring districts.
Erudition trio, the aoe dmg dealer. First off homare because this absolute theater kid with extravagant flair and movements proven in anime and stage will just make me scream erudition. You cant tell me he isnt hitting all 5 mobs in one go with his kit. He reminds me of argenti so much. Sakyo deals with the five aki brats on daily basis so you know the gist. Also his kit being able to do aoe is in line with his efficiency-centered ass. Tenma is very loud /pos, and such a center of the show being an established actor himself, i feel like erudition unit fits him because he can deal with many people at the same time (im blabbering here, forgive me tenma stans)
Hunt quartet here, i feel like they dont need much explanation. Chikage hisoka masumi and banri seems very befitting as one-target dps/nukes, focusing on one hard hitting move per turn, good with enemies who dont do summons. Their physical prowess is made for that, me thinks
Abundance trio, well what more can i say. I mean i know omi is in akigumi but i feel like hes so gallagher coded dont u think. A buff guy can be a healer guys wink wink. Hes quite a pacifist guy in the roster and the fact that he cooks, simply healer. Sakuya my brightest sun my lovely son, it is just canonical that he has healing aura to everyone and everywhere. Same goes with muku!
Nihility quartet or dare i say line up of my favorite people /j. But like ofc, these people may not be the hardest hitting unit in the game but they provide debuffs and dots to the enemy. Very befitting of how these people, azuma tsumugi yuki and citron, behave in the stories. I would split tsumugi yuki as pure debuffer (dmg taken, def shred, etc you name it) unit, while azuma citron as dots sub dps (small initial hits, but they will k you over the time)
Harmony quartet, there are various reasons. Wan wan combi seems befitting with the roles of buffing and cheering their team up. Azami sure buffs too but with less cheers than the wan wan combi lol. And itaru would love to just provide buffs without needing to hit that much. He just loves to put workload to others if he could, doesnt he
Preservation trio, aka people with so much patience and resilience (i made it up). I know tasuku feels like that big bad buff guy who can hit you hard, but like personally hes a pacifist guy yknow. He can hit if he wants to but problem is ge doesnt want to. Thus i think this gym bros physical potential then can be utilized as shield more, like this guy got high def to shield his teammates. Hes just like gepard if u think about it... Anyways kumon also has good physical prowess being a baseballer himself. Im very ignorant when it comes to baseball and its terms, but well i feel like since he has a high mental and physical resilience as well he fits being a shielder. Tsuzuru, boy, he has 9 siblings. I think thats enough reason.
Onto the path as their base philosophy/religion/mindset/whatever terms throw it here:
This one is based on, as ive stated, mindset or philosophy that bases their action. Their idealism, of sort. Or aspects of themselves that may not be always visible/present. This one is harder istg this is like forcing me to do a character study. Anyways.
Erudition banri and guy. I feel like its just befitting of them. They may not be voluntarily choosing to follow Nous, like probably the intelligentsia guild. Theyre probably more like people who got the gaze of Nous instead. Since banri literally excels in everything he does, i go with the interpretation that he might be able to gain Nous' gaze, if this aspect of him is elevated inside the hsr universe. Guy is canonically smart as well and his early element being "of an android" reminds me of screwllum, if hes not a robot and just someone who thinks he is when he isnt. Like doing complicated mental math? Thats sexy and brainy and amazing and sexy and- gets dragged off the stage
Preservation duo... Also fits their game mechanic path... Well i guess. I mean again, their mental endurance seems befitting of a qlipoth followers. It doesnt have to be so devoted like they could be like regular belobogians. Obvs not ipc like fuck that imperialist institution okay /hj
These two father-son hunt duo, also befitting of their game mechanic. Obvs im taking the pattern of chikage's organization and revenge for august. Meanwhile masumi is a bit of a reach here since he couldve been an atheist/not following certain path. But im using the lone wolf interpretation of their characters that just wanders around the galaxy to help those in need and to uphold justice whenever they could
Now talk about nihility "follower", well as you guys already know, there is no such thing as IX's followers since the concept of nihility itself doesnt allow for such possibilities. But then again IX's gaze befalls anyone anywhere no matter how much they want to avoid it. I think of them three as doctor of chaos instead, those who have seen the despair, the nothingness, the futility—yet they want to prove there is still meaning behind it all, in everything IX deems meaningless. Tasutsumu and their fallout and their view on things they valued (godza and acting). Meanwhile juza have a lot of nihilist view about himself as well, but still want to change or be able to do better despite whats given in him
Yet another congruence of philosophy and mechanic, omi and muku is just abundance. As we all know the antagonization of abundance/yaoshi is just a xianzhounian propaganda led by lan guys /j. Ofc as we all know too aeon and their path merely represent a basic concept that is neither wrong or right, good or bad, just or unjust. I just think that omi and muku have that gentleness, altruism, benevolent nature. Not to say this in the naivety kind of way, but well the gentleness persist despite that many violence and turbulence that happened
Harmony guys yeahhh. Ofc the artists, the performers, those who wants to unite people with their art. Saur penaconian. They simply loves the harmony of the diversity, of many different colors
Now sakyo is the sunday of the previous trio /j. But idk i mean he could be a pathless type of person. Hes still a very orderly person and maybe despite not being so devout, he follows the path of ena like secularly. Meh, hes very much into order in canon as well we can see
Elation duo aha. Well, misumi is just a force of nature untamable and he is simply seeking joy (read: triangles) in everything he sees. Meanwhile itaru sure loves joy of playing video games amirite itaru. His laziness truly can land him in nihility but that would be too depressing. Again, they are truly the joy seeker
Trailblazer duo yeaahh. To seek of the unknown, to trail a path never been discovered before, to broaden the horizon. Seems so very sakuya and citron. Their trailblazing spirit is just so strong
Enigmata duo of the two most mysterious people in mankai company /j. I mean they both can be a follower of remembrance as well, since the motives of past and memories are very strongly present in their characterization and stories. Since enigmata and THEIR followers, by lore, are treated akin to Nanook and Anti Matter Legion, so like defo antagonist. So if we want a more friendly approach, memokeeper hisoka and azuma sounds befitting as well.
Last but not least, idrillas follower. Have i told you that argenti reminds me a lot of homare (or vice versa). Yeah. Like ofc homare the appreciator of beauty in the universe, the ever so gentlemanly knight, his name literally means honor yall. Homare is just knight of beauty coded. Meanwhile yuki and azami, well very stereotypical but hey they do appreciate beauty in every forms. They may not be part of knights of beauty and idrilla is long gone/disappeared, but their faith in beauty can persist
Alright i guess thats all i currently remember about these categorization. Ofc again this is just my headcanon and interpretation of the characters and lores in both games. I had fun (and suffer a bit) in making these crossover of my favorite medias. I just need to dump my thought somewhere, and my twt acc is not looking good haha. So here i am.
#i still love you a3#after all these years#i just think its funny to imagine all these theater nerds thrust into a battle game#some lands in category i initially did not expect#some is very stereotypical but what can i do#discussions are welcomed btw

Holy cow, I have way too many to count for this, so instead I'm gonna split it into the EN and JP because Liber and Cybird writes good stories and separate it by best card in their rank because I slowly realized that the EN alone was getting 10 cards at once, and I still have JP to go through.
EN stories
Best N card: Tsuzuru's Clockwork N (Role Study: Luke) Runners-up: All of the role studies from DBTS. All of them.
Best R card: Misumi's Teacher R (Shout it to the Rooftops!) Runner-up: Tsumugi's Autumn R (Autumnal Book Exchange) Best SR card: Itaru's Clockwork SR (Anti-Adulting 101) Runners-up: Citron's KniRoun SR (King Arthur Game), and Banri's Stranger SR (Mad Specs)
Best SSR card: Misumi's Moon Rabbit SSR (Misumi the Messenger) Runner-Up: Tasuku's Coach SSR from Springtime Snooze (Tennis Brawl of Chaos)
Best exclusive card: Kazunari's 1st Birthday SSR (A Special Day With You) Runner-Up: Chikage's 2nd Anni card (One Early Morning)
If I had to choose one: Misumi the Messenger or King Arthur Game, depends on the day. Misumi the Messenger changed my brain chemistry when Misumi got "possessed" by the moon, and the choice section in King Arthur Game actually matters because it's one of the few choices that actually affects the outcome a lot, even if it's just for one scene!
JP stories after the cut!
Best N card: Chikage's Magician's N (Role Study: Peten) Runners-up: Banri's Rad Red N (Role Study: Senri), and all of the role studies for Magician's Pure Love. All of them. (2)
Best R card: Akashi's Backstage Crew R (Reserved Head of Lighting) Runners-up: Misumi's Weihnachten's R (Let's Make a House for the Kitty Cats!) and Azami's Fallen Blood R (Inventions Survey)
Best SR card: Chikage's Akayashi SR (Rivals’ Fierce Marksmanship) Runners-up: Masumi's Immortal Crow SR (Scroll Love Letter) and Hisoka's Holy Night SR (A Hymn to Deliver to You)
Best SSR card: Sakuya's Snow Demon SSR (An Oni Protecting The People) Runner's up: Homare's Fortune Fest SSR (Arisugawa Assessment), Chikage's Moon Traveler SSR (Dear My Moon), and Citron's Harugaoka SSR (A Song From the Heart)
Best exclusive card: Taichi's Sk8 x A3 collab SSR (The Dream I'll See One Day)
Runners-up: Taichi's Beyond Blooming SR, Banri's Sanrio SSR, and Hisoka's 5th Birthday SSR (Childhood Memory: Hisoka)
If I had to pick one: Dear My Moon, hands down. The development in that story and the difference between then and now is like night and day.
Mankai March question 12!
Keeping in line with story-related questions, let’s hear about some side stories! Do you have a favorite backstage story? Is it just plain fun, or is it emotionally devastating? I wanna know!!
#a3 act addict actors#mankai march#holy cow if you've read until the end that's amazing#also I notice the variety got bigger with jp lol

Stray Hyacinths.
Honestly, I’ve been on a roll the last few weeks. Here’s some cute Florist x Tattooist AU with TasuTsumu!
Word count: 3,717 words
"Just so you know, Tasuku, the flowers are all really happy and honoured to have been your model to all those sketches you've drawn," Tsumugi commented and chuckled as Tasuku was fixated on a few bluebells, the florist now unsure whether the tattooist was really sketching all those flowers for his customers or he had some kind of ulterior motive. Nonetheless, Tsumugi preferred Tasuku's presence than the typical emptiness of the shop before he even knew Tasuku existed. He very, very much preferred that because at the very least, his flower shop meant something to someone other than him and his grandmother, whom he gifted white lillies at her funeral. He was more than ready to say farewell and he felt like his grandmother was ready to leave the world of the living, knowing she had passed her wisdom to him.
Tasuku stayed silent but Tsumugi didn't mind, as he was a bit too fixated on those bluebells and plus, it gave him a chance to sneak up behind Tasuku to peak at his work of art. He stood on his tiptoes (not that he was that short; Tasuku was just taller and he's also quite the muscular fellow too) and he marveled at what was scrawled across his sketchbook. He had never seen such a masterpiece in person before, and knowing he made it possible made his heart flutter with absolute joy. The bluebells weren't mere bluebells on the murky yellow page of his sketchbook; they were bells which swayed and rang melodiously, enhancing both their beauty and their use among the fauna that they are ever so close with.
"That's amazing, Tasuku! I love how detailed the curls of the bulbs are! You're amazing, Tasuku," Tsumugi showered some praise onto the tattooist as his cheeks flushed pink, feeling more impressed and excited than usual. The florist could've sworn he saw a tinge of scarlet on the other man's cheeks but that was most likely wishful thinking. Tasuku kept on sketching his chosen specimens and Tsumugi was more than happy to leave him to his work. Still, he wanted to strike up a conversation somehow with him but his fixation on the bluebells made it almost impossible to do so. But Tsumugi decided to go for it. A little conversation won't do no harm.
"Did someone specifically requested bluebells for a tattoo?" Tsumugi started and Tasuku froze. Tsumugi's eyes widen in confusion and slight bewilderment, as Tasuku has never froze or even seem caught off guard in his presence. But he must say, he quite liked the fact that he managed to bring out a different side of Tasuku. He chuckled to himself and waited oh-so-patiently for his response as he wishfully thought again: Tasuku must've ran out of solid reasons to come and see him so he used the old 'I'm borrowing your flowers for me to practice drawing them for tattoos' excuse which was quite the clever one, as it'll last Tasuku a while.
"...No. Someone requested hyacinths. Thanks for reminding me, Tsumugi," Tasuku obliviously answered and Tsumugi could only crack a nervous smile out of embarrassment. 'Well, bluebells and hyacinths are pretty similar anyway because they're part of the same subfamily, but I guess being precise is part of a tattooist's job,' the florist thought. Plus, would Tasuku even know the difference between actual hyacinths and bluebells? Not that the florist was mocking him, he was genuinely curious, is all. Though Tsumugi would love to see him attempt to differentiate the two, however he'll do so.
"Oh, uhm, you're welcome. I'll help you find some hyacinths," Tsumugi responded and sighed, the serotonin from before dispersing almost instantly. He kept repeating the fact that hyacinths and bluebells are rather similar in his head and it probably should matter less to the tattooist than to him. But then he wondered; maybe not only the tattooing business was surprisingly demanding, maybe the reason Tasuku was so precise about what flowers his clients want was because Tsumugi does care about its differences. And so he planned to stay silent until the other man has fully finished sketching, even if he'll end up drawing the whole Scilloideae subfamily.
As Tsumugi searched for some hyacinths around the store, he wondered another question he constantly wondered: should he get a tattoo from Tasuku? He's mostly afraid of the pain but if it meant bringing them closer and gaining more understanding towards why many people do it, he's willing to try. He's been spending weeks mustering up the courage to...to what exactly? To waltz in Tasuku's tattoo parlor and courageously ask to be tattooed? To not have any urge to scream or even gasp at the sight of a needle painting an eternal picture into his skin? Or...to not be scared to approach Tasuku because he has what he thinks were uterior motives?
Ulterior motives. If it meant bringing them closer.
"It's fine, Tsumugi, I've found them," Tasuku called out from the other side of the room, instantly bursting his bubble of thought. Once again, Tsumugi sighed; he felt disappointed, unsure whether in himself or Tasuku or the both of them. Disappointed because of what, he will not disclose to anyone, not even himself. But still, for a second he thought to himself, how could someone so observant and stoic be so goddamn oblivious? But that thought immediately vanished once he completely processed what he just said. He found the hyacinths himself. And that meant—
"You know the difference between bluebells and hyacinths? Physically, I mean," Tsumugi questioned and made his way to Tasuku, who stood near the entrance/exit where two pots of hyacinths grew. Again, Tsumugi didn't mean to mock the other man but every other customer that ever walked in and saw the two flowers would say they're "basically the same thing", despite the differences being quite obvious. That's one of the many reasons why Tsumugi cherished Tasuku so much; he was always different and unique, in a positive way of course, and he was always careful with his words despite his oblivion to most of the florist's attempts to get closer.
"Of course I do. Hyacinths are like suzu bells at shrines. Bluebells are similar but they hang low, their heads facing the ground," Tasuku explained as Tsumugi slightly gaped at the amount of knowledge Tasuku had. But Tsumugi managed to quickly regain his composure and cleared his throat. He didn't want to admit it to himself but that was...somehow and somewhat attractive, if he's being completely honest with himself. Suzu bells. He never thought of them like that before but now that he mentioned them, hyacinths do look like them, somewhat. Nonetheless, he was determined to keep the conversation going.
"So who requested hyacinths?" Tsumugi asked again, feeling like a detective rather than a friend. But it wasn't as if Tasuku minded; any words that came out of Tsumugi's mouth would sound friendly or at least motherly to him. Tsumugi was always soft and tender — he was the type to be disappointed or angry when something is majorly, majorly bad. Tsumugi has the patience of a saint – hell, even more than that – and Tasuku has always been amazed by that. He may seem stoic from the outside but there's a lot of pent up anger inside that's begging to be left out once he's back at his tattoo parlor. But aside from anger, there was something else too.
"You," Tasuku responded, which caught Tsumugi way off guard. Tsumugi's ocean blue eyes widened and blood rushed to his cheeks, painting them a bright pink. He was caught off guard by his answer, of course, but his heart also throbbed at the way he said it; similar to how love confession in movies go, when the woman asks the man what he needs and the man goes "You". But instead of a man and a woman, there were two men. One's a florist who goes by the name Tsukioka Tsumugi and the other a tattoo artist named Takato Tasuku. But despite being both men and having such stark differences, there was some kind of tension in the air, at least that was what Tsumugi thought. As far as he's concerned, Tasuku was a bit unreadable.
"...Um, what do you mean?" Tsumugi bashfully asked and scratched the back of his non-itchy head but genuinely confused by Tasuku's answer. Even after 10 seconds of being uttered, the answer still lingered in the air and not to mention in Tsumugi's mind. It was a pretty good attempt, for such an oblivious man like him, but Tsumugi would be lying if he said he immediately got the message. He just had to hope it wasn't another oblivious answer to disappoint him yet again. But maybe he was so desperate and gullible, and that he was wishing for something that would be impossible in the first place. Still, he clung onto hope.
"You've told me countless times that they're your favourite flower. So since they're your favourite, I felt obligated to sketch 'em," Tasuku explained and Tsumugi was, in fact, not disappointed but he felt somewhat dissatisfied. But then he had an idea on how to keep the conversation going. Something contradictory. "You said I told you countless times but you still forgot and mistook them for bluebells," he retorted and offered a smile so wide, it seemed to reach his ears. Tasuku, as always, seemed unfazed by this statement and continued on sketching without a care in the world except for the florist standing beside him. Again, not disappointed but rather, I dissatisfied.
"That's because you said bluebells were your favourite too," Tasuku replied briefly and that seemed to shut Tsumugi up completely. Tsumugi had never thought he would be so forgetful of the words his own lips had uttered. Or...maybe he was falling into the tattooist's trap somehow. He'd believe in his words and think that he's oblivious while in fact, he reciprocated his feelings. But again, that was only wishful thinking and he had been doing a load of that ever since meeting Tasuku. Tsumugi kept quiet and only stared thoughtfully at Tasuku who kept sketching and sketching, his words dying before they even reach his trachea. Almost as if he felt defeated, which he wasn't but he thought he's done for the day.
"...What do they mean?" Tasuku asked out of nowhere, his intent gaze still pacing back on forth between the hyacinths and his sketchbook. The florist was confused at first but then he understood. The symbolism for the two flowers, of course. If he wasn't mistaken it should be— "Well...bluebells mean humility and gratitude. Hyacinths mean– well, blue ones at least, sincerity. But their Victorian meaning is engage in sport or play, which I think is fitting for you," Tsumugi answered and smiled gently at Tasuku, the smile unreturned. Tasuku shortly nodded.
"Have you always liked them? Or do you like them because they remind you of me?" Tasuku bluntly asked without missing a beat, which made Tsumugi cough loudly. Once again, the florist was caught way off guard and he could feel the blush creeping onto his cheeks once again. Tasuku was onto him, unexpectedly enough, and Tsumugi didn't know what to do about it. Yes, he liked both flowers because they do remind him of the tattoo artist but admitting that would falsely imply that there was a time he didn't like them despite his deep love for flowers of all kinds. Number two, that would heavily imply that he had been thinking of Tasuku way too much for him to be reminded of bluebells and hyacinths.
"...How did you know?" Tsumugi asked. Sure, he was a walking encyclopaedia of flowers but an encyclopedia is not the most readable book. Especially, and this sounded as if the florist was mocking the tattooist in his head, for a man like Tasuku. Again, Tsumugi wasn't underestimating his abilities and knowledge but rather he was just going by his gut feeling, especially because Tasuku was so unreadable. Perhaps he could be an encyclopedia too? Or was he a manuscripts filled with hieroglyphs lost to time? With pictures becoming letters and letters becoming pictures? Tasuku was more than a simple jigsaw puzzle but that was what made Tsumugi interested in him in the first place.
"I'm thinking that's a yes to both. You may not know this, Tsumugi, but you're actually kinda readable. I know you like me and I know you want to try getting a tattoo, which is why I'm here sketching these in the first place," Tasuku answered, debunking the fact that Tsumugi was an unreadable encyclopedia. In fact, maybe he's only a guidebook for children who has the desire to pursue gardening as a childhood hobby. Still, Tsumugi sighed and covered his face with his hands, more embarrassed than ecstatic at the fact that Tasuku knew all this time.
"Then why did you act so oblivious in the first place?" he questioned, his voice muffled and his mind unsure of what to say or ask anymore. Tasuku knew of his crush on him and that made him as joyful as a dog with two tails, but he went scarlet at the confirmation of him being an open book, being so readable. But it wasn't fair because Tasuku was unreadable; Tasuku had the higher ground. Then again, it could be an opposites attract sort of relationship and balanced — Tsumugi's readability and Tasuku's unreadability. Balanced as all things should be.
"I thought it would be fun to mess around with you since you're so pure and gullible. Sorry about that, hehe," Tasuku chuckled to which Tsumugi's heart replied by skipping a beat. His chuckle was dry and short but it wasn't mirthless. On the contrary, those two seconds of him chuckling might be the most mirthful two-second chuckle (or even laughter) Tsumugi had ever heard in his whole life. Right there in his flower shop stood a miracle personified and Tsumugi wasn't going to lost his chances with him, especially now that he knew that Tasuku knew of his feelings all along. Tsumugi stepped forward, but not too close as to not distract Tasuku too much, his eyes full of determination.
"W-Would you like to go on a date with me some other time?" Tsumugi asked, his heart full of courage and his mind running with future date plans; maybe they could go try out the coffee at the new café, perhaps they could stroll (or jog, since Tasuku's such a fitness nut) around in the park nearby since the flowers there were in full bloom, or mayhaps do it the classic way and go to the movies? On the outside he only seemed hell bent on getting Tasuku to agree but on the inside he was freaking out big time, especially because he wants their first date to be as perfect as it can possibly be.
Tasuku didn't answer but instead he turned to look at Tsumugi for a second and he leaned in until their foreheads were touching, dependent on each other. Tsumugi closed his eyes shut out of shyness and out of disbelief that this was happening. Actually, he wasn't sure what was happening. Because right after that, Tasuku's lips were right on his. His lips tasted of honey, specifically honey lip balm, and Tsumugi was willing to bet that he wore it because he knew this was coming. Oh, how Tsumugi wished Tasuku was more readable. He could've at least mentally prepare himself for this moment. And because he wasn't prepared, he almost lost consciousness and his face was burning red as if it was lit on fire.
Tsumugi swore they kissed for hours on end but it turned out to only be a few seconds. He was prepared to be disappointed when their lips part but instead, he was blessed with a blushing Tasuku who was just as red as he was. The both of them were grinning, content, but Tsumugi was sure he was still more embarrassed than happy. He looked at Tasuku in awe of his facial features now that they're literally closer. He has somewhat thin green-black eyebrows, fierce purple irises that reminded him of the tips of hyacinths, a perfectly sculpted sharp nose and, of course, his full lips that made it so hard to resist. But he resisted either way; he wanted the kisses to only be for special occasions. But he wasn't sure if that was what Tasuku wanted too.
"Is that good enough of an answer for you?" Tasuku slyly quizzed the other man and flashed a devilish grin which nearly made Tsumugi faint. Tsumugi furiously nodded as if his life depended on it and stepped back to lean on the counter. He thanked God that nobody came in and walked in on them because who knows what would've happened. Tasuku resumed sketching the hyacinths as if nothing ever happened — but Tsumugi liked that. He didn't mind whatever Tasuku wants to do there, at his flower shop with him, because now he knows. Now they know. And the florist couldn't hoped for a better day than this.
But then he had an idea. He raced to the back of the flower shop, leaving a dumbfounded Tasuku to his own devices. Tsumugi searched among the clutter of pots of flowers that were all personal ones — ones that were not for sale and definitely not for the eyes of the customers. But he made an exception for Tasuku; because Tasuku wasn't just a customer. Hell, he was never a customer, he only regularly visited to sketch images of the flowers displayed and depart for his tattoo parlor, to fulfill whatever requests and to satisfy whatever clients were dumped there.
Once he found the perfect one, Tsumugi rushed back to the front and extended the pot to Tasuku. "Here. You probably don't want a whole bouquet of them and bluebells so...take it," Tsumugi held out a lone pot of hyacinth and expected Tasuku to signal him to put it on the ground. But Tasuku put his sketchbook aside and grabbed the pot with his hands, gazing at it intently. And then he finally smiled a smile so warm, the sun was probably shaking his head in embarrassment and shame. Tasuku glanced at Tsumugi, the warm smile still in tact.
"Thanks. I love you," Tasuku confessed and Tsumugi finally stumbled to the ground. He couldn't handle it — how was someone so oblivious be so...smooth at the same time? But then he recalled that he had acted oblivious for the sake of teasing him and that made him want to stay on the tiles of the shop for all of eternity. Today was such an embarrassing day but the florist wouldn't have it any other way. Tasuku kneeled down to help him stand up again but Tsumugi reflexively sat up himself and pushed his lips against the other's. Looked like the "kisses are only for special occasions" plan went right down the drain.
And then the bell at the entrance/exit rung, ending their kiss awfully quick. Both of the men stood up straight as to not seem suspicious. It turned out to be one of Tasuku's coworkers at the tattoo parlor and he was demanding Tasuku to be back at the job. Tasuku sighed but was glad enough that they didn't catch him and Tsumugi in the act. Tasuku only nodded as his coworker slammed the door shut, to which Tsumugi flinched out of discomfort and because of their poor manners.
"Let's meet up tomorrow at the café down the street. 12PM sharp. I'll treat you to some lunch, okay?" Tasuku whispered to Tsumugi and the he nodded obediently. Tasuku smiled (today might've been the day he's smiled the most) and walked away casually while making a grab for his gift of a pot of hyacinth, to commemorate the day their true and honest feelings were conveyed. The bell rung again as Tasuku exited and Tsumugi tried not to faint yet again. What a magical day it was. Not only was he able to "tell" Tasuku, his feelings were actually reciprocated. Tsumugi was positive he was into women...but maybe he likes both? He shouldn't assume, was his conclusion.
But then he felt anxiety burning in his chest — what if all of this was just a extremely vivid dream? He pinched himself in multiple spots; his cheek hurt the most. It wasn't a dream. He really got through to Tasuku, and his feelings were mutual. They're going on a date tomorrow at the café down the street, which was coincidentally one of his favourite cafés. But if only he got to say those three (four?) words again, but no, he had to be so embarrassed he fell to the ground. He guessed you could say that he fell for him?
...Tsumugi wasn't one with the best sense of humour.
He glanced at the hyacinths, ever so blue and violet, as if the colour of Tasuku's eyes were raised up its brightness and contrast. Tsumugi smiled to himself and approached them, holding them tenderly and dearly in his hands. He silently thanked them, for whatever reason, but he felt the need to thank them. He did the same for the bluebells. He thanked them endlessly, for a reason even unknown to himself. Before he could bore himself by waiting for more customers to come in, he spotted the petal of a hyacinth on the ground near the bluebells. He chuckled; it must've fallen off Tasuku's pot of it.
He picked it up and stored it in his pocket. But even then, he could see a trail of them (not literally, of course) lead outside the door and to him, and they continue to build a trail that'll lead back to him, wherever he goes, unbothered by the wind blowing furiously outside. It was about to rain but that trail of stray hyacinth petals aren't going away anytime soon. They were bonded, albeit he didn't know whether it was forevermore, but what's important was they were together. Flowers and tattoos cast aside. Readability and unreadability left astray. And whether it be hyacinths or bluebells,
their trails of blueish petals will always lead back to each other.
