I have that silly headcanon where Aja became a Papa Skull fan thanks to Claire, while Douxie and Zoe were in charge of giving her a makeover to take her to the band's concert for the first time, although it was Aja who ended up buying the tickets lol

What if.... Arcane "AU"?

not so much an AU as it is just the idea of what if this one pair of siblings I love was in the role of another pair of siblings that I love. Though I suppose that is the beauty of an AU, it doesn't have to make sense. obviously we got the Tarrons as Vi and Jinx but I dunno who anyone else would be. But I'm back in my Arcane phase so they've been on my mind a lot. Hence, the crossover no one asked for or wanted but I made anyways.

WRONG PLACE AU PROLOGUE part three

“Of course it does, it wouldn’t be a very good aircraft if it didn’t and yes, I’m just making it look good.” Krel answered. Aja nodded and smiled.

“Those come with live cameras don’t they?” Krel looked up at Aja and gave her a look.

“Why do you want to know?” Krel asked, incredibly suspicious of the fact his sister was actually interested in his work.

“Well you need to test fly such an important piece of genius don’t you? Better safe than sorry.” Aja answered a determined gleam in her eye. And just like that, thirty mecrons later Krel found himself flying his remote-controlled striker around the castle leading his sister out via walkie-talkie.

“It looks like the next hallway is clear Aja, you’ll have to go through the nursery but the nanny is busy with helping Raya with something on a shelf. Go fast enough you can avoid her notice. Koiprin and Corbus might be a problem though.” Krel said to guide his sister through.

“They never pay attention to me why would they this time?”

“Fair enough. They’re always busy with the others fists.”

“I blame the fact that between them they have eight. Mama and Papa should’ve only let them have two each.” Krel laughs at Aja’s joke. Aja was fast, darting out from under one of the hallways decorative tables and clearing the long open hallway quickly to make it to the next hallway arch. She hid right inside the arch.

“I’ll tell you when to go.” Krel said, repeating that he would tell her when it was clear for at least the hundredth time this excursion. He watched waiting for both the nanny and his brutes and pranksters of brothers to turn away from the door.

“Go now.” Krel said cooly. He knew what he was doing by now. Krel kept flying his model a little farther ahead but Aja was probably in the clear now or at least close enough to it to get out anyways. His walkie-talkie died, letting out its little death jingle. He looked away only for a second but his aircraft bumped into something. He looked back at his screen.

“General Morando? Isn’t he supposed to be in a meeting with Mama and Papa right now?” Krel asked, he spared only a momentary glance to the walkie-talkie. “Stupid short battery life.” Krel looked back at the screen just in time to see the angry general grab and crush his new machine. “Hey!” He shouted, then he realized something worse. “Aja is gonna get caught!” He wasn’t sure why it mattered to him, but he was running the fastest he ever had. Maybe it was because he wanted Aja to like him, none of his other siblings really did, not that he cared.

The inherent idea is that to blend into Arcadia (well into their monster-y transformations), their transduction forms are based off of data from 'historical' films (aka old monster movies).

I imagine it’s after school and they made their way to the bookstore that Douxie managed to close early bc Jim said something ab meeting there. Archie was prepared for a freak out the first time they met him, he wasn’t prepared for this.

it makes me so genuinely emotional how uhl is so consistently and unconditionally protective of the tarrons. literally as soon as he learned that there was a coup in the sibling's home he vowed to help keep them safe and even just within the first season of 3below we see that in full force. he doesnt demand any proof of citizenship of the two or their family, and when birdie starts brewing trouble and accuses the tarrons of being illegal immigrants he immediately the defends the two. and even when they do get their student id cards, he uses them as a way of reaffirming to aja and krel that arcadia oaks is their home now and that theyre safe here.

WRONG PLACE AU PROLOGUE part two

This is my first ever fanfiction. Criticism is appreciated. Word count; 1,956 total---------------------------------

He could work there without his brothers finding his things. So, he quietly slipped out of the room, up the stairs, and began winding his way through the halls and grand rooms. Had it been his mother watching them as it usually was, she would’ve noticed in a heartbeat that her son was sneaking off and out of where she could watch him. She also would’ve noticed a long while ago that her eldest daughter had disappeared. Krel did know she’d left, Krel also didn’t really care. Sure, he liked Aja more than his other siblings, she didn’t wreck his stuff for one. And she listened whenever he made a scientific breakthrough, or at least she tried, she usually got bored. Krel didn’t hold it against her though. He got bored whenever she talked about how badly she wanted to be normal or how nice it would be. So sure, he might miss her a little, not that he’d ever admit to that, but he wouldn’t say anything to tell anyone where she went because if she wanted to go be a wild thing and skellteg fight he wasn’t going to stop her.

“I’m leaving and you can’t stop me!” Aja exclaimed, holding the end of a rope she probably stole and was dangling it over the window. Krel just sighed, exasperated at having to deal with more sibling drama today.

“I wouldn’t bother with it trust me, and besides even if I did want to stop you the rope your holding is too short for you to use anyways.” Krel set down his model and makeshift tools. Aja glared at him, grabbing the rope and double checking its length before growling and throwing it down. Krel chuckled quietly in amusement.

“Little brother you’ve got to help me. Use one of your algorithms to figure out a way for me to get out. Pleeeeease?”

“No and it doesn’t work like that.” Krel shot down her plea for help quickly. Aja sat down crossing all four arms and frowned at him.

“But why? You know I would always help you if you needed it.”

“No you wouldn’t and besides I’m too smart to need it. But since you asked I’m busy building-“

“-building a striker ship so Mama and Papa will give you a workshop.” Aja interrupted and finished what Krel was saying. Aja was the only one he’d told about the deal since she was the only one who wouldn’t mess this up for him. Krel glared at her.

“Yes.” He spun around to not face Aja and worked facing that way instead, but Aja just came around. “It looks done. Does it fly?”

Are there any major changes to canon you think you'll make in the sunshine au, other than the obvious? I've seen you talk about things you didn't like about wizards, and was curious if that meant you were gonna tweak it for the sake of the au

Oh I am definitely going to be doing a lot of tweaking to canon for the sunshine au.

As people have probably guessed already, Mary and Darci will be included in team Trollhunters from day one, and Barbara will be in the know from the start as well. Another major thing is that Douxie will join the main cast during the equivalent of TH season 3 and will be heavily involved in the battle of the eternal night. How the TH crew gets introduced to the Tarron siblings will also happen a little bit differently (Steve finds himself sworn to secrecy by two different groups and is very conflicted before he convinces them to talk to each other).

Then we get to the things I'm changing for salt related reasons...

First off the slaughter of the Janus order won't be just a thing that happens and is immediately forgotten about. The same with changelings in general; the beginnings of gradual acceptance of changelings into mainstream troll society is going to become a big plot point.

For the most part 3Below season 1 will be untouched, but for season 2 I'm planning on unkinking a lot of the major inconsistencies that were introduced (Krel needed to scavenge technology for weeks to build a Daxial array but can MacGyver together a wormhole generator with spare parts? No way. Kubritz's motivations changing on a whim based on what the plot demands? Fuck that.)

Speaking of inconsistencies, while the basic plot for Wizards will stay the same, the gang going back in time to Camelot and to make sure the battle of Kilahead goes as planned, I'm going to tweak events to actually keep a consistent continuity between the events of TH and Wizards. For starters, Merlin gave the amulet to the trolls several thousand years earlier, meaning Deya wasn't the first, and their trip back in time will be foreshadowed and built up for a long time leading up to it. Also Jim's transformation won't be undone, he'll remain a shifting halftroll permanently.

And for RotT I'm going to do what I'm doing to Wizards time a thousand. The Arcane order will actually be built up and foreshadowed as antagonists, that god-awful Steve mp//reg plot will not happen, all the characters and their individual arcs will line up with their journey to this point (no BS "Am I still the Trollhunter without the amulet") and when I say characters I mean characters, plural. Jim is a hero but he's not the hero, they're a team and each character will be given equivalent attention.

And most importantly there will be no time travel retcon ending. One of the major themes running through this series is that the world is rarely broken down into black and white options, we just have to choose the choices who's consequences we're able to live with. And I'm f*****g sticking to that. The group's victory will be hard won and bittersweet, not without sacrifice, but in the end they'll create a better world for both the mundane and the magical.

Sorry if I sound so salty I love Tales of Arcadia but it has some deep flaws especially with that dumpster fire movie.

How does Jim and the others help Aja and Krel beat Morando?

Ah the final battle against Morando. Jim gotten stretched thin trying to keep the casualties from the psycho's fear campaign low. Mothership's AI is currently comatose as he barely manage to upload her into a Tamagotchi via Grey Matter ingenuity. Some couldn't be saved like Colonel Kubritz who was far too gone for any help.

He heard about Seklos' Cannon being powered by Royal Cores and knew where this was heading. Jim wasn't going to have the siblings lose their parents after so much they went through. Luckily, he had a way to circumvent the cost via Upgrade.

Seklos' Cannon was modified to take the energy it needs externally through physical contact so being powered by 4 Royals only took a small cut of energy from them. In the end, Morando's terrifying reign came to an end.

House Tarron are back together again and the family can FINALLY reconcile.
