Okay, in all seriousness I'm gonna address this.

I am strongly against all forms of gate keeping. This myth is only designed to keep Tarot a closed practice and it only serves to stop the masses from using a valuable spiritual tool for themselves so they are forced to keep coming back to a practitioner for help. This being said I am a Tarot reader and I still go to other Tarot readers from time to time. I feel this is important to do cause sometimes they can see things I might otherwise overlook.

If you want a Tarot deck buy one, there is nothing stopping you except your own belief system. It will not change your practice or give you wrong results if you go out of your way to meet your own spiritual needs. Spiritual tools are for everyone, if you have been initiated by another person, or created your own terms of initiation, it's all valid.

I have tarot decks that have been given to me and those which I have bought on my own volition, both serve to give me accurate results, one isn't more powerful than the other. The only thing a given tarot deck has which one you bought yourself doesn't have is the sentimentality and attachment to the person who gave it you. That's it.

There is a really strong need for REST here. Whether it is a physical or mental break, it is very clear that you have reached a point of great stress and exhaustion in both your body and your mind. Maybe it was a lot of work, study or overthinking and anxiety. Either way, you need to calm your nervous system urgently by walking, sleeping, meditating, deep breathing, being in nature, etc. You also need to appreciate your body and your mind for helping you work and do your daily activities. CELEBRATE your achievements but also your body and your health.

This pile has a good intuition which is helpful in making the right choices for your health. Your balance between your physical and emotional body is good. You have the need to understand the connection between your mind, body and spirit health and the multiple dimensions each of these have. For example, when people think of hormones, they most likely think about the sex and fertility aspect/dimension or hormones. But hormones are emotions, actions, and a lot of other things, so they both affect and are affected by all aspects of health. Your fertility is specially high, so if you are facing fertility problems atm, this may be a sign that you are improving and you should keep focusing on your current treatment and trusting the people who are taking care of you. Determination to quit unhealthy habits and start engaging in good ones is key for you now. You need to gain confidence in your health choices. You are capable of everything, especially rn. Everything that you want for your health is within reach, you just need to trust your course of action and be committed to it.

You need to know that you reap the fruits of the work you do on your health. If you do a good job on taking care of your health, you will feel good. If you don´t, you will not feel good. Also, if you are facing a health problem, you need to evaluate your lifestyle, routines and daily habits to find the root cause.

Finally, be grateful for the work your body does for you everyday. Thank the parts of your body that are working and healthy, instead of just focusing on your sickness/the parts that are bothering you.

You may be going through a mysterious health issue, or maybe you are not listening to your body´s messages. It could be that you are ignoring a symptom, and you gave up getting a diagnosis because doctors couldn´t find the problem or had different/contradicting opinions. If that resonates, this could be a sign to not ignore it anymore, because there is a new opportunity to find help, a diagnosis, or a treatment. There is also a new opportunity to start taking care of your health, whatever that means for you

If you had a surgery, you are recovering impressively and completely. There is a lot of regeneration and transformation about this pile. It is possible that you will be cured of an illness. There is some waste in your system that is being removed and eliminated too.

Moderation is really present here. If you want to start eating healthy, quit smoking, or practicing a new form of exercise, I see you doing it gradually. This can be done in the form of reducing your portions or the amount of cigarettes you smoke daily. Your determination is high as well, you are really convinced you can reach your health goals and you probably wont stop until you make it!

Also, be careful with unprotected sex and take care of your genital organs. Avoid promiscuity by channeling your passion with other activities like working out, creating and mindfulness. SLEEP and EAT nutrient dense, building foods for regeneration. Don´t use sex to deal with every emotion. Learn about hormones and how to have healthy hormones/menstrual cycle.

Pile 3 ⭐

Health must be a priority as much as your work, your family and your social life are. Maybe this is something you forgot, or something you are starting to remember and being aware of now. There is a need for balance and having fun. You need to find joy in your health routines and be intentional about them. Find the joy in being in nature, playing, moving your body, making healthy meals and taking rest. Be responsible with your choices and priorities.

It is possible that you faced a sudden change in your life or a health issue that left you feeling nervous and anxious, or that you experienced a sudden anxiety attack or some kind of emotional disturbance that affected your health. If you resonate, relaxation is key. Also, it could be that you just realized you need to start therapy because you can´t deal with a problem on your own. The Tower in this pile may indicate muscle tension, stress, high blood pressure, grief, depression and spine problems for some of you. Im getting detoxing as well.

If you resonate with going through grief, pain, depression, heartbreak or a difficult emotional time, allow yourself to feel your emotions. Release them by crying, screaming, punching a pillow, writing, or whatever way is helpful to you. Acknowledge your hurt, your pain without getting lost in it. Practice gratitude. Reconnecting with nature is another good thing to do, since nature is something greater than ourselves and also incredibly beautiful, mesmerizing, and healing. Hello lovely :) I am currently going through my Ketu MD. Ever since it began, I have been experiencing mysterious facial skin issues that I have never had before! Is Ketu connected with the skin? Is it because Ketu rules the body and is missing it's head (Rahu?) I am curious to hear what you have to say. I typically have a clean cut diet and rarely indulge. It strangely went away during my KetuMD/ Moon AD. However, I will be ending my Moon AD in December and approaching Mars AD. Do you have any tips for eczema flares/ Ketu remedies? Ketu does not have it's own body but it is known to have a serpent's tail. It is known as a shadow planet in Vedic Astrology. It is a spiritually benefic planet. See, Ketu, because it's missing the head, finds it difficult to make logical decisions, as far as I know, it brings detachment, feelings of abandonment to the natives, people feel like totally giving up on materialistic desires, even feeling like leaving their family and loved ones behind. You experiencing these skin problems could be related to Ketu Mahadasha bringing in mysterious illnesses and diseases, also weakens immunity. Honestly, I don't know about Ketu remedies but yeah, I also suffer from dyshidrotic eczema and the flares come and go. I used to take homeopathic medicine earlier when I had serious flares in the beginning with blisters all over my hands, elbows, knees and feet but currently they're not so serious. I have discontinued my medicines due to financial reasons but I use a herbal soap and lotion for the same. I use aloevera and calendula soap and lotion. It just helps soothe them(reduces the itch to a maximum) and it does go away by itself but then comes back again in a week's time. Apply what suits your skin though, dear. I just recently came out of my Saturn Mahadasha. Also, your Ketu is sitting in which house and sign, may I know?

Before answering your Qs, I have to put a disclaimer beforehand that all of these are my personal thoughts and experiences and I don't seek to deny the validity of other opinions. And also my spiritual beliefs don't really align with any particular system.

1) Do you see tarot as a predictive tool or one of self-help?

I see Tarot and other divination mediums as a tool to help us connect with the collective and our own individual unconscious. As the term "unconscious" denotes, it's a part that we don't usually aware of in ourselves and how it connects to everything.

Through Tarot, we become more aware of that part, gain more knowledge from it. But what we do with that knowledge is our own choice. Let's imagine the unconscious as a raw database and Tarot is an open source data processing program with many tools for analysing, predicting trends based on existing data, combine data to make a whole new thing etc. The tools will keep being added, updated based on the user (us)'s needs and skills.

So yes, Tarot can be used as a predictive tool or one of self-help, it can also be used for many different purposes as long as the user can get reliable results from it. I've asked Tarot for big life decisions, predicting major events, but I've also asked Tarot for advice on simple things like the place to go, the food to buy (yes lol) just to see how life will unfold.

2) Astrology tells us that there are certain things that are bound to happen. Yes free-will exists, but there are SOME things once cannot escape. Do you feel tarot has such beliefs too?

I think the only things that we cannot escape are the parents whom we are born to and our physical death. One can also argue that our higher self chose our parents but I'm of the belief that there is an underlying system that ensures the balance of the universe and we are placed in the right time and place according to that system. But it's not a rigid system but a flexible one, constantly changing to adapt to new situations.

And where do those new situations come from? from us, by our conscious or unconscious choices. Things that are considered bound to happen, things that one cannot escape are actually the results of our choices. Sometimes we make those choice unconsciously so it looks like we are just some passive pawns moved by some higher hands. The more aware we are of ourselves, the less we feel that our life is governed by outside force. This explains why some people who are aware of themselves, aware of all their light and dark sides, their gray sides, rarely resonate with their astrology chart or Tarot readings. Because their life is not controlled by a seemingly outside unknown force anymore.

Astrology chart can be the blueprint for our journey, but how we build it, how we decorate it, how we renovate it later on is our own choices. Tarot predictions are also like that.

3) Do you feel the future can be changed?

The answer to this question can be seen from the previous questions. The future is a result that will likely happen if we follow the trends of our existing actions, an extrapolation. Anything that hasn't happened yet, can be changed.
