Whisper was just glaring at the Lemur who was across the room! Why oh why did they insist on celebrating her day of OLDENING! She sighed and her shoulders slumped, she couldn't be angry with them really. They were trying to be good friends, but Whisper just hated celebrating her birthday. She'd rather avoid it but here she was with a whole ass cake, and an excited lemur bouncing in the corner! even her wisps were against her!

She sighed and nodded to Amy, before using sign language to say thank you. Sometimes being mute was difficult but she was happy so many of her friends were learning just for her. In truth she was lucky to have so many wonderful people who cared enough to be here. Even if it was for her stinky birthday!

And that was enough to make her smile!

Glaring at her Wisps demanding to know who told her friends about her birthday! she knows it was one of them since they were the only ones who fucking knew! she was tapping her foot waiting for the culprit to come clean!

The wisp winked at Whisper! in its mind it was doing her a favor! but she was sighing and looking distressed! betrayed by her closest friends!

She just sat and grumbled to herself!

Her eyes shifted away from Tangle as she didn't like leaving her Wispeon. But then again, this was for Tangle right? She needed Tangle to feel comfortable letting her come with her. She didn't like the idea, but she would if it was for her. She sighed and finally nodded in agreement with Tangle. If this was Tangle's terms so be it, she would do what she needed to make her feel more comfortable. Really he biggest worry was Mimic finding her weaponless--- but that was just her paranoia kicking in.

She could see the Lemur not moving yet, as the Wolf stood to her feet fully. She adjusted her coat and turned to offer Tangle a hand to help her up. There was no escaping this, no matter much the Lemur wanted to run away. But she wouldn't be alone, she'd be there for her and protect her anyway she could. If that meant making her father target her she was sure she could handle it.

She mouthed that word as she helped Tangle stand, and placed her Wispeon in Tangle's hands.

She hoped this would set Tangle's mind at ease, first belle's then she'd meet this man that had Tangle's tail in a twist. She promised herself she wouldn't let him get to her. Whatever happened she made a promise to Tangle, she wouldn't lay a finger on him. Did a boot count? no no! she'd have to keep her cool!

Tangle would look up from her hands to see Whisper slowly signing she wouldn't touch her dad and that she wanted to come and do this together. The lemur would sit up straight, closing her eyes and taking a deep breath to actually calm herself down and finally collect all the thoughts than just letting them run wild and making her continue to overthink things.

"Okay, okay, you're right. I know you are, just, can we at least have Belle hang onto your Wispon since we'll be heading to the workshop." Tangle was just being far too paranoid about this, which was certainly out of character for her. "I just know my dad and he can be real good an pushing the wrong buttons." The lemur wasn't sure if he knew he was doing it or just had a crappy personality, though it was a pain to deal with.

"And if you're losing your cool just give me a sign." Tangle was sure she could tell if Whisper was starting to get heated, though knew the wolf was extremely great at masking her feelings so better safe than sorry. "Alright, let's go then." Despite saying this she continued to stay seated. Might need a bit of a push to get going.
