anyway, here’s an alternate explanation to the trashcan thing (link) for how Aric’s head ends up higher than Tank’s in the kissing cutscene. She just lift him up.

Tank/Jorgan

when of if I started shipping it: Not sure exactly some time around Nar Shaddaa? I remember liking their chemistry :p

my thoughts: my #1 favorite SWTOR ship. and they’re both autistic, which is always a plus

What makes me happy about them: their autisms, their teasing dynamic, the sparring (they spar a lot in my HC its true. Tank bonds primarily through bad puns and punching people consensually)

What makes me sad about them: the 5 years they spend apart

things done in fanfic that annoys me: i actually haven’t read much rt/jorgan fic. I guess i saw one where I was annoyed cuz fem trooper was suggested to be taught to fight by her step-dad and i generally dislike it when people insert male figures to explain how female characters are fighting. Hence why I make Tank’s mom be her primary influence. But that’s not a ship thing thats a char thing

I also know I saw one that randomly had Jorgan be the one in charge and I was like… no

things I look for in fanfic: I haven’t started looking for anything in for this pairing but I guess it would be they genuinely have fun together

My kinks: is sparring a kink? IDK

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: not sure. Tank has chemistry with lots of people.

My happily ever after for them: Tank helps kill Valkorion and they get to have a life in which she is not regularly responsible for the fate of the galaxy. The fate of havoc she can handle. The galaxy is too damn much.

Lycaea/Lana

when of if I started shipping it: immediately after I Heard there was a wlw option for lycaea. I really hoped they’d get along :P and they did so it wins

my thoughts: Lycaea and Lana have a pretty… interesting relationship. I feel like they really deeply care about each other but also might not be 100 percent compatible, so that will be fun in the long run. Lycaea likes someone who challenges her. Lana I imagine respects Lycaea’s skill in battle and judgement, but also disagrees on some of her decisions.

What makes me happy about them: Sparring! Having fun. the fact that Lycaea gets to be around someone she feels she can sort of open up around. She feels like even if Lana disagrees with her on lots of things, she won’t use it against her (whether this winds up being true will be found out later)

What makes me sad about them: Hoooboy the fact that they are kind of morally incompatible. Lycaea is LS mostly, lana is pragmatist and falls on the DS side. There are some things they would just not agree on and might fight over. further more, I know for a fact Lycaea winds up fucking off in Kotfeet to do fight her own personal battle, which lana would be like “you just left? You didn’t tell any of us (read: me) or ask for help? We would’ve helped you we were worried!” BUUUTTTT Lycaea has terrible communication skills and hates relying on other people and anyway angstangstangst is what i’m getting at

things done in fanfic that annoys me: Havn’et read many Lana fics so IDK

things I look for in fanfic: I guess that it seems to be mutual and even. Like if they poke fun at each other, it goes both ways. And I guess I like them to not be 100 percent open with each other just because that seems a little unrealistic for them both growing up in Sith Society. Maybe eventually, but not at first.

My kinks: shrug emoji. do i put sparring stuff down here like I did for tank/jorgan? honestly I have no clue how to answer this question

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other:not sure. I know I used to ship Lycaea/Quinn but I backed off on that. Lana could go well with lots of people TBH, but not lots of my OCs. I’ve got lots of characters who are too lightsided to be content with her ds-ness, neutral characters who just hate sith (aereinys), and nehari is my dsest one but would be too irresponsible and get on Lana’s nerves like woah.

My happily ever after for them: I’m not sure if they have a happily after together or not. I really need to think on their dynamic more and exactly how Lana’s character development changed between SoR and KotFE. she seemed to get more independent and free-agenty, but also kind of self-sacrificy? iDK … lots of stuff. I know that no matter what, they’re gonna have to work for their relationship, especially after Lycaea fucks things up with her communication failures

Ilia Shaa

when of if I started shipping it: I think after you sent me that fanfic u did about them (the 1 i beta read)

my thoughts: i like them they’re cute :P shaa is so adorable and flustered I love it.

What makes me happy about them: they are so cute and gay. and I like the discussions they get into. Good shit! challenge each others views

What makes me sad about them: I’m not sure yet :P would have to see more angsty side for me to know. I guess that they’ll outlive all their friends (IIRC?) but OTOH its not like not dying is a bad thing

while i was supposed to be doing serious stuff i sketched this comic

it started with my sibling saying that these screencaps (link) were a lie, because they show aric’s head above tank’s when she’s supposed to be taller than him. Then i extrapolated the only logical conclusion for how that could’ve happened.

but seriously SWTOR let me be a tall lady. tank’s about as tall as jorgan in the game, she shouldn’t look shorter in the kissing animations

I couldn’t decide whether to do chibi style or my regular style for this so it was an akward compromise where they just look truncated

Forex and Vik’s were kind of unremarkable, so i forgot to take screencaps. i guess if its relevant to ur interests, if u ask vik if he’s hitting on you he says something like “don’t be ridiculous, you aren’t nearly trashy enough for me”, and you can tell forex he’s the most remarkable combat droid you’ve ever had the privilege of serving w/ or knowing or something. thats all i can remember for them sorry :P

okay now for Elara. She assumes you want babies ever after because ? idk that seems to be how lots of the game assumes you’ll operate

okay so this was a little more kid-basd than i would’ve liked their friendo dialogue to have bene, i wanted to get a little more of their regular interactions. maybe if you say “no” to kids instead of “Idk” it’s not quite so focused on that?

either way, tank is all <3 <3 <3 when Elara is like “you’ve been a true friend to me.” I think I mentioned in the yuun post that tank would totally want to hug yuun if yuun was down w/ it, and the same thing would happen w/ elara. wh owould escape getting free hug offers from the legacy conversations? (well maybe vik :P tank’s still mad at him for killing a room full of people for money)

and i was gonna be like “if elara wants to teach kids stuff so much why doesn’t she have her own kids”, but she probably wants to be like the Cool Aunt. I’ll do the fun stuff like teaching and you can do the rest

or the game just assumes heterosexual marriage and babies ever after

This actually reinforces my Autism Feelings for Aric. I think I mentioned earlier that the reason I read aric as alexythymic (which is common in autistic people) is because he seems to have trouble articulating feelings, and never (if you pick my “canon” dialogue options) says “I love you” out loud. He says “I like you. a lot” during the feelings part of the romance, and he types out “i love you” in a letter, but not out loud. sometimes its too overwhelming for me (an autistic) to say my feelings out loud, so its easier to step around the exact words or type them down

and also he literally made a script to propose :P thats an easy way to deal w/ emotions and interactions. It does amuse me though, that the script he picks has him say “you should totally have figured out where i’m going with this”, but if you do figure out where he’s going with it in time to change the script he stops and gets really awkward :p but anyway. Sooooo clearly autistic

okay, first time trying one of these fanfic prompts.

Five… Six… Seven…

Tank exhales with each pull-up. It’s a little too late towork out now, but she missed her morning session when General Garza wasdebriefing the squad with the new mission. They’ve got to go to Corelia. Seems likethey just left that planet.

In the background, music plays, but it’s not anything she’sfamiliar with. She must have slipped someone else’s holodisk into the player byaccident.

Ten… Eleven… Twelve…

The clank of boots echoes in the walls of the ship behindher, and then stops. She drops down and sees Aric leaning against the wallcasually.

“Don’t mind me,” he says.

“I’m not.” She shakes her arms around to loosen them up, andthen brings one across her chest to stretch. “Just stretching.”

He nods.

“Care to join me?”

He shakes his head. “I’m not gonna want to shower beforebed. It’s easy for you, but fur takes forever to dry off.”

Tank steps towards him and swings an arm around hisshoulders. “I don’t mind your wet dog smell.” She winks.

Aric rolls his eyes and elbows her playfully. “It’s not adog smell.”

“Cathar. Whatever.”

Aric leans against her slightly and lets his foot tapslightly to the beat of the music in the background. “Not your usual tunes. Getthem from Dorne?”

Tank shakes her head. “Whoever left them here last. Theywere putting me to slee-eeep.” Shedraws out the last word. She does prefer higher energy beats for working out.

“We’ll you’re not supposed to work out to them. You’resupposed to dance to them.”

Tank raises her brow. “Oh?”

Aric nods. He seems pretty relaxed, for once in his life.It’s hard to tell on his face, because his brow normally overhangs his eyes atan angry angle, but there’s a slight smile on his lips. “One, two, three, one,two, three,” he counts off. “It’s supposed to be a waltz.”

Tank cocks her head a little to the beat. Yeah, she can seethat. “You can dance?”

Aric shrugs a little. “I guess. Not very well though.”

Tank grins.

Aric looks up at her.

“You have to show me!”

He smiles a little. “You mean you can’t? I thought you saidyou could do everything.”

“Of course I can! I would never lie.” She winks. “I’ve justonly had the occasion to once or twice.”

Aric grins. “Me too.” There’s not much opportunity for goingout and dancing in their line of work. They move around way too much, andsometimes it seems like it’d be more worth the free time he has to catch up onsleep or reading.

“Now looks like an occasion,” Tank says.

Aric holds his hands out. Left hand towards hers, and righthand going at her waist. Tank touches the top of his shoulder – which she hasto reach down for, because she’s a good 25 cm taller than he is – and grabs hisother hand.

They both wait a second. Neither has done this in a longenough while to know exactly how to get back into the flow of things.

Aric steps off with one of his feet, and Tank is a halfsecond behind him. She has to use more of her brainpower for this than shethought.

Okay, so go back onthree. Shit, that was three. Okay, now one, two…

Neither of them are taking too big steps, thankfully.  They’re both rusty and slow. Aric’s lookingup at her, she’s looking down at him, and in a minute she stops thinking aboutcounting things off exactly. She’s just glad to feel his hands in hers – theroughness of the pads on his fingers, the softness of his fur – and swaytogether a little.

After a while they’ve completely lost the beat and are justawkwardly shuffling back and forth, but Tank doesn’t care. She’s having fun.Aric stops eventually and leans into her. Tank wraps her arms around him.

“I’m sweaty,” she says, as she suddenly remembers she wasjust working out before now.

He softly kisses her chest, on one of her pecs. Then hegrins a little, like he can’t resist teasing her. “Like wet twi’lek.”

First impression

First playthrough of SWTOR I had no clue that anyone was going to be a companion, so I just thought it was nice they made their random NPCs so distinctive :P

Favorite moment

hmm possibly the incredibly dorky love declaration if you take the romance path. Alternatively, him finally articulating why it would’ve been wrong to kill.. Zane I think? That one guy who got the deadeyes killed? And realizing if he had, he would’ve been just like Zane. Some nice character development.

Unpopular opinion

I think his kotfe arc is really boring. Maybe that’s not unpopular? IDK I don’t see a ton of stuff about him in SWTOR fandom

edit: alternatively: what arc? I guess i mean to say is unless you’re already invested in his character in kofte, he’s kind of boring there. which is true of most companions because they tried to cram like 40+ companions for one character.

   I love how awkward Aric is for the proposal. He’s obviously sincere, but not the type to talk about FEELINGS. I’ve never let him actually propose before. Maybe I should. :-P If a male trooper doesn’t romance Elara, you get the same convo with her as a female trooper.

honestly, tankxjorgan is my favorite SWTOR ship, and I feel that’s largely because of their dynamic*, aric’s autistic ass, and the fact that trooper was my first playthru so Nostalgia

but anyway i would definitely recommend aric jorgan romance :p (or do you mean by let him propose, can you propose instead? I’ve never picked that option if it exists)
