also just for my own future reference

while i was drawing that i decided to sketch out some of the way i draw the aliens w/ non-human teeths teeth

(none of this is based in canon IIRC. its just the way i draw them)

I pretty much draw togruta w/ identical shark-like teeth.

i draw sith kind of pretty much like humans but w/ sharper canines because they are somewhat carnivore-y IIRC. but they’re pretty human nowadays, so

lycaea’s teeth are pretty a mix of sith and togruta. I kept the fairly uniform sharp teeth except for her canines which i let be maximum (she’s 3/4 togruta and 1/4 sith is why i used a mix of them. it also means she gets unique teeth)

for harin-so (and all voss) i did uniform needle sharp teeth and way too many of them. i can’t remember my logic (I think gormak had sharp teeth and voss were related to them? and maybe because voss’s eyes were very different from humans in a slightly unsettling way and i wanted to mimic that w/ the teeth)

twileks get my best shot at how they looked in clone wars. IIRC they were sharp and a little more uniform than human teeth but smaller and w/ bigger spaces between them.

was browsing around my legacy stronghold for outfits and saw this and i thought it looked good enough on tank i had to make it another outfit slot.

tank’s cannon. IIRC its the cannon you get at first thats upgradeable and i just upgraded, so it may be someone else’s cannon as well, if they want to use the ref pics

i took these when i was drawing tank with her cannon, posting them so i can check them quickly again for the next time i draw her with it

Okay I had too much fun taking my party to Club Vertica. I assumed ur characters might try to lay a little low and dress like they actually belong in a club (and taking smaller firearms like blaster pistols rather than giant fucking cannons), since they already bothered to lay low by getting themselves on the list.  I should’ve got an outfit for Aric as well, but I knew I wouldn’t be taking him out b/c Elara was my Nar Shaddaa companion this playthru and im lazy

Elara’s wearing more formal clothes. She thinks that would make her look less suspicious and maybe hide a blaster behind the cape. Tank’s wearing a croptop b/c she thinks that if she’s not wearing heavy armor, she might as well show off her abs and guns :p

her headdress is a little different tan it looks in game. it has these little white slots. that’s because i like the republic trooper’s ability to have a  fully armored apperance, so as you can see in picture two, metal plates attach to her headdress to protect her lekku. they were going to wrap all the way around, but then i realized that would make her clank a lot when she moved (lekku hitting her back), so I had them just be covered in leather or whatever the black bodysuit is made out of in front. her helmet is also not really a helmet but a durasteel facemask, and it fastens to her headdress.

other commentaries: i will cop to that last pic being intended for artist appeal :p however i can’t draw people frm the back at all -_-

also, it seems like a great idea to give your twi’lek talon’s* badass tattoos, until you actually have to draw said tattoos. how do the artists who darw talon in the legacy comics actually manage it? is it like a new layer that’s mostly drawn and they just warp it to fit her body, or do they ahve to freehand them each time?

*okay they’re not exactly talon’s tattoos, but they remind me of them
