what’s your favorite thing about peter parker?

Great question!

There's a few things that make me enjoy writing Peter Parker:

He's a resilient character and I am a mean writer. I enjoy (writing) emotional torment and Peter's consistently a character to get up and keep going (sometimes to the point of obstinacy and self-sabotage, which in and of itself can be an interesting perspective to explore). Ya boi is trying his best and I gotta give him credit for that.

The whole concept of his abilities is neat. Here's this very durable and very powerful young man, sometimes with borderline supernatural elements attached (for instance the Spider Totem storylines), who is determined to make a difference in the world, regardless of how others might think of him. I find that a very endearing quality. Plus it's fun to have a character who's just built different, yannow?

He has a strong moral code and steadfast belief in redemption and forgiveness. The whole 'with great power with great responsibility' thing is at the heart of his character (certainly within the comics and TAMZ / the OG Spider-Man movies... it took a long time for them to get there in the MCU Spider-Man movies and didn't have much of an opportunity/desire to explore it further by the end of NWH). Considering how much he's been put through in both movies and comics, that he continues to attempt to redeem his villains - even those who have hurt him horribly - says a lot about his strength of will. It takes a hell of a lot of courage and moral fortitude to maintain a mindset like that. and I think he serves as a strong moral teaching to readers/watchers.

As a lefitst, I enjoy the exploration of a working class hero and what this really looks like in practice. While I am writing my own stories with the MCU canon in mind, to me it's important to understand the distinctions between Disney's portrayal of Peter Parker (where he is very much NOT a working class hero), and most other portrayals in film/comics (Skip Intro's video on MCU Copaganda is very insightful about this topic, as is VerilyBitchie's video on SM, Class and Militarisation). I'm sure I'll only be partly successful at it, but I intend to explore Peter's character growing beyond the confines of the MCU's characterisation of him. Particularly the 'friendly neighbourhood' aspect of his title that was only ever hinted at but never actually explored in the Tom Holland movies.

(and most importantly from a writing POV) he's smart and he's funny. I love banter and Peter Parker is a character MADE for banter. He's silly and he's petty and he's irreverent and he's a goddamn nerd. And I love him for it!

So.... that's a long way of me saying 'I like Peter for X, Y and Z, but most of all I like him 'cause he's funny' 🙃

I think deep down you'd be happy of the challenge that brings your sub being bratty

You wouldnt get enough of trying new ideas (or one specific idea that you always wanted to try) to make them submit to your will with your wit

We know how much Kleo likes to have her mind be stimulated with interesting people and ideas

Definitly wouldnt be afraid to put them in their place and to confront them the page on the card looks ready to fight

Id be so happy to have your feedback and how youd interprete it any differently

I mean... this Page card is... I don't know. With the sword in hand and the horse I would guess it's a Knight of Swords 😂 I mean I also have some decks where the pages sometimes look like knights...

Anyway! I think you picked up on the imagery pretty well. And on my preferences. I like a good challenge, especially intellectual one. I like the battles of wits and I would very much enjoy trying several kinds of punishments but at the same time, I think I would encourage my sub to be bratty sometimes because it's fun. 🤭

I'm not really the type to appreciate a completely devoted good boy. I need the challenge, the banter, the competition even... At the same time, I know when it's time to stop playing and I have mastered several techniques how to put people in their place swiftly. None of them is aggressive, they are all more like intellectual.

If I were to spank or whip someone, I would keep asking whether they are really okay the whole time... well... at least the first time for sure. 😂

It's not everyday that a god's head angel isn't a creation of theirs. Uma is a tough-as-nails orca who used to be a notorious mercenary. Now a Head Angel to Tama - who she's highly protective of - and captain of Krystalyka's royal guard, Uma is now a respected warrior and trusted friend. Although, she still retains some of her old habits from her mercenary days, being impulsive, finding it hard to back down from a fight, and has even come close to punching some of Tama's fellow Gods in the face whenever they insult her. Despite her intimidating exterior and no-nonsense attitude, Uma is friendly, playful, and a loyal friend.

He's also known for having a stomach of steel, able to eat the spiciest of food (Frida swears she saw him eat a rock once because he was bored). Azar is the child of Krystalyka's former devil, Bismuth - devil of chaos - and Vicers. Despite being cousins, Azar acts like an older brother to Tama and is always looking out for her. How are you and your family holding up during the pandemic?

Even with all the pandemic chaos 2023 has presented us with, there is still so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. Reflecting on our gratitude makes us better at the work we set out to do every day. Although this year is not like 2020, it’s still been a hard year for many of us. Practicing gratitude in 2023 is likely tough for many people. Hopefully, there are still plenty of things to be thankful for.
