Last couple pictures before the Aberration spam starts. XD

I love the beach-resort view from our N&A balcony. Holy cow.

Aras started the kibble event and when I went to torment the diplos again I found another bear. This one wasn't a great level but those colors.

We got a super-late start because we severely underestimated how much work we had to do before we felt it was safe to leave. Everyone on the Center is packed up, we brought a bunch of tames back to the Island, and everyone there is either also packed up, or left with plenty of food in the troughs. Honestly most of the work was just making sure we had enough cryos (and running out to make more when we were short >.<).

No Ab pics yet but we found our base spot already and got a starter shack up, and we have a pair of bulbdogs, a raptor and moschops, and a pair of iguanodons. Gonna go look for a good stego first thing tomorrow, and there's a 90 doedic in our "yard" that we'll grab if she's still there, too. That should do us for gatherers and we can start building our real base. \o/

Watching some ark playthroughs as I draw and I find it kinda funny that the player always goes through the 7 stages of grief in the beginning of their playthrough.

By which I mean get absolutely bodied by every single carnivore they come across (plus the occasional meganeura dropping by to land a hit) and losing almost all of their tames to said carnivore. I watched this poor dude make a trek across the map to get their lystro back to their base but a raptor jumped in on them the last second and killed it lmao

Say hello to the one and only Therizinosaur Defense Team!! Shale the Raptor, and my new Triceratops (who I tamed for defense purposes after losing my Iguanodon, Topaz). It was CLOSE. Shale had less than 100HP left, and only thanks to me constantly working to raise it.

In honor of saving the day, I decided to name the Triceratops: Theribane! But then I realized that seeing the first five letters of a Therizinosaur was going to startle me constantly so I picked again.

Because the Ooze was designed to make super soldier mutants, it helps its host adapt to the conditions around them. After a few years, it started to double-mutate him to adapt to his new harsh environment, making him very raptor-like.

Because of his double mutation and trauma of past events, Donnie is at risk of going into a feral “Savage” mode like Raph

Has two modes— ‘Hunter’ and ‘Scientist/Alchemist’

While hunting Donatello relies on his instincts. Becomes very aggressive and territorial.

He uses an ankylosaurus skull and other dinosaur parts as his battle shell and protective gear while hunting

When he isn’t hunting, Donnie is trying to reinvent necessities to make living in a prehistoric era a bit easier with what materials are available to him

Dino-Tello’s concept was inspired by a similar 2003 TMNT episode where they go to the past, 2003 Leatherhead, Tarzan, and the anime series ‘Dr. Stone’

His concept is meant to emphasize Donnie’s other strengths beyond technology— such as his Super-intelligence, his close-combat fighting skills, and ability to communicate with other creatures (as shown in the Todd Scouts episode)

He and his brothers tame a triceratops and name him Zog, who was both a pet and steed

3. Hunters and Preys

Alien Masters’ Earthling ethologist have discovered that Earthlings aka humans, especially males, like to connect beasts or raptors with themselves, such as covering their bodies with the furs of wild beasts, using the remains of wild beasts as body decorations, and even directly refers to himself as a beast, as if he wishes he was a beast. This is very strange behavior in their eyes. They were unable to determine why humans, who had developed a low level of civilization, would aspire to be equal to lower animals.

They also discovered that in addition to raising hounds, humans also raise cheetahs and falcons to assist in hunting, or keep lions and tigers as pets. Besides, another behavior is even more jaw-dropping to scholars: releasing wild beasts in a place called an "artificial hunting ground", and then hunting them for entertainment.

1. Male humans desire to degenerate into lower-level beasts that obey wild instincts.

They replaced part of human genes with some genes from carnivorous beasts and developed several varieties.
