Karen and May - main characters is a need so I didn't put it as an option

I would LOVE more women in the show but that isn't me saying I don't love who we have already!!! I just feel like more side characters or more main female characters would be amazing (technically we only have 3 compared to 5 male - using the promo photos as example, chris replaced Michael on the cast photos which is still bizarre to me considering chris was in 5 eps and karen was in 6 but 🤷🏼)

fanfic friday round two!

I could not restrain myself to write it, so here it is.

What if Abby and Tommy had a kid before they broke up? What if Evan got attached to this kid when he was with Abby, and suffered this loss as much as losing Abby when they parted away? What if Tommy gained custody when Abby left and had to raise the kid alone while learning how to be true to himself? What if, years later, Tommy and Evan met during a hurricane, and fell in love?

Tommy's body is still warm under his fingers, his heart beating wildly in his chest and reasoning in Evan's skull. The younger man smiles, a feeling of satisfaction mixed with the satiety of a well-deserved orgasm. His eyes close, ready to fall into the arms of Morpheus as he remains curled up against Tommy, feeding off the newfound touch. The other man's voice caresses the silence of the room, like an uncertain whisper. And Evan is too tired to understand the gravity of the moment, the importance of what's at stake. “If it's getting serious between us then I need to tell you something…” “Anything you want.” Evan's voice is heavy with contentment, already distant even as he does his best to focus on Tommy's voice. “I'm a dad. I have a daughter, she's eight.” Evan takes time to absorb the information. To understand what Tommy wants to tell him. He knows he should panic, that at least that's what the man who's become his boyfriend in a matter of weeks expects. Wonders how many men fled when Tommy mentioned the child. If it's out of fear that he didn't say anything before their bodies became exposed. If he expects Evan to flee, accusing him of setting him up or who knows what other bullshit. He doesn't let the silence last forever, feels Tommy's body tense beneath his, knows that the words he's about to say will change the rest of his life. When he finally speaks, it's with a smile on his face. “I love kids.” Beneath him, Tommy sighs, relaxing under his fingers. Evan hesitates, wonders if he should straighten up, plunge his gaze into the other man's. Tommy's breathing is jerky, the emotion hard to hide. He knows the walls the pilot has put up around him so he doesn't move, lets Tommy have that sensation of intimacy. “I…” He's never heard the older man so uncertain, so he waits. Gives Tommy time to find his words. “I'd rather wait before introducing her to you. If you don't mind. I want to, believe me. But…” “But you'd rather not risk her getting attached if you're not sure I'm staying, right?” Tommy remains silent. Finally Evan straightens up slightly, pulls his face up to face his boyfriend. Sees in his eyes his concern, his hope too. “I understand, Tommy. We'll give ourselves the time we need to get to know each other, for me to show you that I really want you.” And Tommy smiles at him, touched. And Tommy puts his hand on his cheek, caressing the soft skin. And Tommy moves closer, kissing him in the half-light of a room they intend to share more often.

Stupid idea that came to me while eating my sandwich.

What if Tommy and Abby had a child and it's why he finally decided to leave her and live his truth, so his kid can be proud of him someday.

And everything goes like in the show, but with Abby having a kid. And Buck loves them, he's so good with kids. He even talks about making another kid with Abby but it's way too soon so she laughs it off.

When she leaves for Europe the kid goes to stay with Tommy and it's hard at first, and Buck can't see him anymore and his life goes on while Tommy's life changes because now he's a single father. Time passes, everybody is happy and the kid decides to stay with Tommy when Abby comes back, refusing to leave LA.

Fast forward, Tommy and Buck are on a date and Tommy tells him about his kid and he shows Buck a photo and Buck's heart just drops.
