“Trick or treat!” Tommy can't help but smile as he looks at the two little firefighters he has just opened the door to. The twins can't be more than six years old, and each of them holds out an orange bucket to the adult, already starting to fill with candy. "Wow, your costumes are amazing! They look just like the real thing. You came to save me, right?" The two kids laugh, amused by the giant standing in front of them. Behind them, a particularly proud mother keeps a watchful eye, her gaze sweeping over the pilot's body, a momentary lapse of indulgence before she comes to her senses. “What do we say, boys?”

“We want candy!” replies one, while the other flashes a smile with several missing teeth, accompanied by an adorable “Thank you, sir!”

The mother's pride quickly disappears, horrified by the response from the firefighter on the right. But Tommy starts laughing even harder before grabbing the bowl prepared in advance to make the neighborhood children happy. He gives each child a handful of candy and chocolate, smiling from ear to ear. "That's it for the candy. Now go save some more houses from spells, and watch out for witches, I've come across a few." He winks at the mother, who thanks him silently for the patience, and then the two little firefighters wave goodbye before running off to other adventures. The adult watches the boys' frantic race for a moment before shaking his head and closing his door. He's not on call this year, having already worked too many shifts for his captain to agree to give him any more work. “You need to rest, Tommy, you can't go on like this.” That's what the other man replied when he insisted. In his eyes, a quiet concern, a silence that has lasted for months. Ever since Bobby was gone. Since Evan disappeared from his life for good.

From the (incredibly scarce) bts we've seen lately, I'm getting strong Halloween episode vibes.

WHAT IF Buck starts thinking about all the ways Halloween was amazing for him last year, past the boils and dislocated shoulder and ok maybe it was just Tommy that was amazing but why can't he have that again, huh??? Why be apart when they can be together??

imagine Tommy opening up the door, a basket of sweets in hand and, instead of a bunch of little kids, there's a full grown man, with a ridiculous mustache, greeting him with a "Why, hello there stranger!" and a wink!!

Tommy would just stand there blinking, trying to reboot his brain, I'm sure. 🤣🤣

i made a bucktommy game.

so i just started my internship last monday and i've learned to make a simple platform game and guess what i did with it? make it about bucktommy. i'm unstoppable.

i also did in fact doodled the lil buck and tommy myself for this purpose specifically! :D
