As return-heavy as it looked, this match turned out to be concluded in two tie-break sets. This way, their anticipatory returns under pressure turned out to be tested, with T. Yuzuki/S. Watanabe's forehand return aces setting their mini-breaks in both sets' tie-breakers before holding their service games right after. Interestingly, Rungkat/P. Isaro struggled to find their balance, taking into account how the Japanese pair tried to utilize their angles from the baseline, and while having most of their 3 chances in the second set, they were unable to capitalize on it considering T. Yuzuki/S. Watanabe's clutch appearance as well on their serves, thus the Japanese pair stood out by the end of this match.

Service game-wise, it appeared that both players had their own service game strengths. S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki had an exceptional first serve winning percentage by 11% with 86% compared to Rungkat/P. Isaro's 75%, aided by their 3 aces to get themselves out of trouble in various occasions. On the other hand, double-faulting four times than Rungkat/P. Isaro's twice, S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki found their second serve winning percentage faded to 56%, 7% lower than Rungkat/P. Isaro, but it was insufficient for the last week's runner-up to prevail in this match.

In the quarterfinals, S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki will face the winner between third seeds Corentin Denolly/Damien Wenger or Sai Karteek Reddy Ganta/Guy Orly Iradukunda, which is currently ongoing as this was written. This could be an exciting play, with their balance becoming one of the main aspects to be looked after apart from their groundstrokes, might be neat!

So like two years ago, I made Apollon and Tsukito a couple of love children, but then I ended up kinda abandoning them. But then I started thinking of various ideas to flesh them out and after various conversations with @suneater-tamaki​, I decided to redraw them again and add a third kid (Hyakinthos)

Yui is their godmother

Akira probably spoils them more than their parents do tbh. 

All of them are gods, but are being raised among humans

That said, they are all immortal and they stop aging at 21

They do have god forms….I just hadn’t drawn them yet

They probably have little control over their powers as children (except Hyakinthos because he’s the oldest) Cue stressed as hell parents.

They’re really close with one another and hardly fight

As you will notice soon, their birthdays correspond to the equinoxes/solstices lmao

Personality-wise, he’s very calm most of the time and doesn’t react much to a lot of things, but he can be snarky at times

He also is VERY protective of his sisters and will fuck someone’s shit up if anything ever happens to them.

Probably too chill for his own good. He does not seem too bothered by the fact that he’s named after Apollon’s dead lover 

Loves his parents to bits but he gets hella stressed with them because they have the sex drive of rabbits and his sisters tend to wake up in the middle of the night and run into their room. He’s had to wake up several nights to preserve his sisters’ innocence. Help this child. 

Spends his free time reading, star-gazing, and playing with his sisters.

Probably has gone to the planetarium so many times, the staff there remember him by name. 

He’s surprisingly a really good dancer. He’s embarrassed by it, though

The doubles first-round actions continued with last week's runner-up, Christopher Rungkat/Pruchya Isaro, taking on Seita Watanabe/Takeru Yuzuki in the first round. While this match ended up testing their pacing in one way or another, this also tested their balance, taking into account the point construction was rather straightforward in this match.

Initially, Rungkat/P. Isaro had their chances open in the fourth game after S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki got outhit from their forehand side after Rungkat's volley for he and P. Isaro to be one point ahead. However, S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki scored a massive hold to 2-2, and the match was level until the last moments of the first set.

Throughout the rest of the set, while trying to beat the servefest allegations, S. Watanabe/T. Yuzuki started to appear more comfortable through the angles, one time catching P. Isaro's forehand side off-guard, thus the unforced error. This became more evident in the first set tie-breaker, where S. Watanabe/T. It all came down to the breakers, where the follow-ups remained as crucial as their returns. Cukierman/Oberleitner controlled the flow for at least one and three-fourth of the second set as D. Istomin/E. Karlovskiy stepped up, but the latter took their returns slightly deeper in the match tie-break that brought the former under pressure on their serves at the end.
