I could go on and on about why all that AI "art" is bad. I could mention theft, lack of creativity, it's impact on the work field and environment, but countless people have already said all that. I wanted to touch on something that to me is the most utterly wrong about all of it.

Art is more than just something pretty to look at or listen to. It's therapeutic. It's a form of communication. A tool for human connection. It's a pure, human need.

Just a friendly reminder that though the schedule may change, you can talk about previous volumes for as long as you like! I know that some people (including myself) haven't even started yet and plan to catch up—you can be early, but you can never be late for bookclub!

Poll Time!

So the final deluxe edition release date is out, and it's months out from the previous volume, not to mention the volume before still has a decent gap. In my opinion, this will probably slow down momentum and honestly might make people forget the event haha. I also am not fond of continuing to promote the deluxe editions given the quality issues and Dark Horse as a whole.

I'm leaning toward changing the schedule regardless, but I wanted to know what everyone thinks in case I'm in the minority! As a reminder, this is the schedule most affected by these changes:

Trigun Maximum Deluxe Vol. 3 Volumes 7, 8, and 9 of Trigun Maximum December 10th-February 24th

Trigun Maximum Deluxe Vol. 4 Volumes 10, 11, and 12 of Trigun Maximum February 25th-June 17th

Trigun Maximum Deluxe Vol. 5 Volumes 13 and 14 of Trigun Maximum June 17th-???

Of course, the tag will still be open for posting for the deluxe volumes releasing until it's finished! This would mainly be a change to the official timeline to keep up momentum. So!

everybody draws Piper showing skin. half the time Shel as well. literally almost EVERYBODY. go look at Piper fanart. is she wearing a crop top? i bet she is. or if she's wearing a dress hers is gonna be one of the most revealing. bonus points if they gave her a belly button piercing. and it's almost always only Piper and/or Shel. i thought we had a whole discussion about sexualizing young indigenous girls back in like 2021 but i guess nobody processed that part cause pjo fandom acts like if they dont have Piper show her stomach or have her shirt ride up they'll die.

I never for a moment interpreted the ending where Solas and Lavellan journey off into the Fade together as anything but hopeful.

The Inquisitor has been the Hero Who Saved the World for the last decade, and now she’s continuing that work. She’s not abandoning her duty. She’s venturing into the realm of pure magic to heal the Blight. Solas being there is just an enjoyable side benefit. Why can’t she save the day, get married to her true love, then head off on her next adventure? Heroes do those things all the time.

The game also is incredibly vague—and sure it’s implied they are going to the Fade Prison, which is the Black City—and Solas says it’ll be terrible… but he’s Mr. Grim and Fatalistic. Don’t listen to him. Lavellan responds that it won’t be terrible. It’s the Fade. You can shape it. It’s like the land of lucid dreaming. It will literally not be terrible if they are together. They’ll heal the Blight and help the Titans and go on many weird Fade adventures.

Again. It’s the Fade! It’s like the best sandbox for creating what comes next for them. They could totally spend all the time they’d like exploring Fade World, then return to the real world and find out only like… an afternoon has passed. Or I��m sure Dorian—after giving them a respectful amount of time for their Honeymoon—uses that magic knife to cut his way in and bring Lavellan an eluvian to use to visit him and her other friends and family whenever she wants. It’s not like they’re trapped forever. It’s left very open-ended. Have a little whimsy! Believe in true love that lasts forever and does not wane no matter the years that pass! Let them have a happily ever after. Why not. It’s fun.

Never again. I wanted to draw the canon designs as close in style in-game because why not, but I lost all the motivation drawing Kanna...

But it still is so fun to see the comparison! I like how I draw the characters, even if mostly I just put them on a different timeline with the designs (Sara with my your turn to live au and emotion route Kanna) lol

I stayed only with those 3 characters as I don't think I draw them that different from originals... But I guess if any of you want to see some of them I will consider drawing them with this template
