Like what if Gwen survives only when she falls in love with a Miles Morales? That’s one reason why the multiverse created this soulmate-thing between them in ATSV. Furthermore, it was heavily hinting that Peter Parker wasn’t her true partner, and when Gwen chose incorrectly, it killed her every time, like Death from Final Destination. Indeed, one of the few times where she lives and is with Spider-Man is where she has her happy ending with Miles on Earth-8, allowing her to have her cake and eat it too.

In other words, what if the Spider-Verse was actually a toxic Ghostflower shipper?

Except it's not some paranormal or magical mark that indicates or forms a bond between them or anything. No. It's just regular ass hickeys that they take super seriously.

okay, for my de-aged gotham!bruce au

what if there was a new rogue running around de-aging everyone who got in their way? the trigger to turn back is unknown and seemingly random. so after bruce is de-aged, some of his old rogues are de-aged too. since their MOs are a bit different because they're at a different point in their lives (it depends for each one when they're de-aged to) bruce is their main source of information on them, meaning that the batfam is basically forced to let bruce work with them to fight the de-aged rogues.

rogues i want to include (so far): the penguin, the riddler, (of course) the joker (i want to find a way to include jerome so so so bad but i don't know how exactly yet), not sure who else as to the rogues.

but i also want to de-age selina and alfred at some point. maybe someone hit the manor at a gala or something. they play that off as when bruce was hit so bruce can walk around gotham without the cops scrambling to find bruce wayne.

its not really a new thing for me to say that i kinda hate the whole 'werewolf pack' kinda thing for a few reasons, but i dont like, entirely hate it yknow

like my main thing is i like characters having a sortve isolated angsty ass time(i wonder why /s), and werewolves are great for angst! so putting the two together is like. oh hell yes. but thats just a me thing

but also for some reason almost every depiction ive seen of werewolves and werewolf packs has been like... 'their nature/instincts/whatever makes this happen' like, they cant resist it because its something theyre basically forced to do by their biology. ive seen it be blood families, ive seen it be random people who just met and theyre basically bound by the universe i guess, blah blah blah

and idk, i hate that. of course, almost everyone and almost every species has it in their nature to be social and need connection, but its not portrayed like that in these cases. its portrayed more like theyll basically die if they for whatever reason reject it or something, and that their loyalty is their entire life or whatever. idk, its hard to describe.

i think its kinda obvious that im leading this up to found family. who doesnt love found family? who doesnt love when people and characters choose the people that they want to spend their lives with, whether blood is involved or not.

and theres no instinct part of it for me, its just people who want/need support from others, and they find people they love, and you could call it a pack but i just personally wouldnt. its just like any other relationship tbh, but its obv cuter as a group :p

and if it happens to be other werewolves, or other monsters, or even just humans... thats their people that they chose.

funniest running joke in all of one piece so far is when a devil fruit memeber of the crew falls in the ocean and is immedietly followed up by zoro cursing and running in after them. Theres this scene a little bit into jaya where Nami is really mad, and in the awkwardly cropped background you can just see chopper get so scared he falls of the ship immedietly followed by zoro yelling 'man overboard!!' and jumping in after him. none of this is the focus of the scene and nobody else notices

It's a miracle he doesn't just keep Luffy tied to the ship at this point

There's a lot to appreciate about my GP, he's a really great doctor, but something I've noticed recently is how reliably he provides citation for his knowledge. I don't mean "studies show X" or whatever, I mean he'll tell me which specialist colleague he is taking this recommendation from - he'll even name the colleague if he thinks I'm likely to know them. "I was discussing migraines with [neurologist] and her recommendation is applicable to you because [Y]" and "I attended a seminar with [rheumatologist] where I learned Z about your condition."

As a former Science Person I love the ability to trace information sources, but mostly it makes me trust that he's not trying to be a big hero acting like all the bright ideas were his alone. His ego isn't in the driving seat. I wish that was more common lol

while i am not under the impression that their incompetence is innocent or genuine or unintentional at all there is something quite staggering about living with grown adult ostensibly intelligent and capable men who somehow cannot or at least claim to not be able to get their head around the concept that if you put a 'food catcher' in the sink it will 'catch food' and thus because the 'food catcher' contains only tiny holes, pieces of food bigger than the 'food catcher' holes will be 'caught' and therefore remain there until they themselves take action

link being in a position of authority (first mate) in post ph is so interesting is that even something he’s cut out for. with the composition and whatnot of the post ph crew its not like he has to be an actual authority figure but at the end of the day he’s higher ranked than damien and bellum. linebeck probably talks to him the most about sailing and adventuring plans and he likely gets a lot of input on what they do. he probably stays in charge of the cannon. also least assigned to swabbing the deck probably but i doubt he dislikes doing it
