If Takasugi and Zura really were accomplices I dont get the point of whole conversation in 689 chapter. There is literally no meaning for it.

I have already said this but let me say this again - in this manga when someone says he doesnt remember something it doesnt mean it didnt happen, just that he doesnt want to remember it. Another thing I dont buy all this reassurence about Zura being Yoshida pupil. First of all we still did not get any flashbacks or just talking between those two. Second if you reread certain moments you should notice that Sorachi never places bubles with words about Yoshida Shouyou near Zura. Its a bit like Sorachi himself reject idea of Katsura being Yoshida disciple

AAAAnd the medal for the most idiotic anime manga speech goes to...Sakata Gintoki!!! No really Gintoki, this makes zero sense. And I was there when all that backlash on Ichigo happened for saying to Ulquiorra that he could cut Ichigo hand If he wants. But the guy was just bitter from turning into monster that almost killed his own friends. 

One meaning of white color in Japan is death. It also symbolises purity but though I didnt read that much about it, I suspect it means purity because of its association with death.Thats why shiroyasha has even more sinister meaning to it.But here we have pure white and I had to think for awhile before realising that it all sound like goddamn Ashita no Joe reference.  You know famous ending one? Sorachi already did it once

To put it simple I highly doubt it is going to work. Gintama is undoubtely shounen but Sorachi has never really gone full shounen on us and I dont see him doing this now. There wasnt any big mistakes this chapter except one so I am not going to mistakes post. If you are interested in one that was try to compare Sougo outfit ( especialy the hat ) this chapte with 690 version. See you next week
