Hey Stormlight fans why are we so quick to forgive Dalinar for killing innocents- including his own wife, but when it comes to Elhokar, whose worst crimes were just being immature and incompetent- both of which come from not being ready to inherit the throne- he's unforgiveable?

Do yall actually think Elhokar is irredeemable because he let Moash's grandparents die?? If so then yall should really take a good long look at Dalinar's arc and compare it to where Elhokar is when he's swearing the First Ideal, because Dalinar at his lowest on the whole was far worse than Elhokar ever was

thinking about majima and saejima in y4 and what they did after they met up and fought. if they got to talk about more than just what happened in '85. if they actually did some batting or something else casual. if they talked about yasuko. if majima mentioned anything about the things he's been through, beyond what directly ties back to saejima and '85. if saejima was able to pry enough out of majima to realize just how much of his decisions spiraled around saejima for a while and how it borders a type of obsessiveness. if they at any point hugged. i hope they did

What better way to begin Tokyo Debunker posting than with a tierlist of the ghouls! I usually don't bother putting them in order within the tiers, but with this one I did! So the leftmost boy on each row is the one I liked most.

Obscuary really had no misses huh.

I know Ritsu has fans and I'm happy for you!!!! I am happy that you get joy out of him. Personally I think he has a pretty face but every time he speaks I desire strongly to kill him with a rock. I also know Leo has dedicated haters and yeah honestly fair.

This one includes the staff members (whom I thought it would be unfair to include in the original tierlist due to lack of screentime) and I threw in the little creatures since I had already made a "cute critter" tier for Lyca.

Jin would be higher if they didn't make him a smoker. Wild that they put so much effort into positioning him as THE romance option and then added "by the way he smells absolutely fucking awful" lmao

Oh he's definitely an ass (love that for him though. Delicious finally some good fucking antagonists for vbs /ref), he's just an ass with emotional depth™

Taiga is so emotionally immature. Both of Kotakis are, in their own way. The "I know I'm being to do something Very Hurtful for my own selfish feelings and I'm about to do it anyway" siblings for the win.

I think he was definitely enjoying himself as he was kicking the kids down in that battle because *gestures to the whole "I'm doing this for myself" speech* he's still frustrated that Nagi had to "leave him like that" (and Ken fluking out soon after), so he kind of had to prove to himself that, at least partially, he was right about being the only one who could achieve RADders original dream. Hence why he's particularly sadistic to Kotarou, someone who he doesn't seen as passionate or hardworking or particularly trying - too weak for Taiga to respect, and less malicious towards Arata (narrative foils foiling) and VBS. Like there is definitely some malice here in the way he does it but not the why behind it.

And also he just drops the bomb and leaves Ken to deal with that, which is an asshole move, and also the way he mocks An because she's the Nagi's golden child, in a way. A lot of things Nagi did in the last months of her life were about An, so seeing Nagi care about An so much and less so about her own dream, to hear her choose An over him in who she wanted to carry it onward- it's just a theory but I do think Taiga did it the way he did because he holds An to some fucked up impossible standard because of how important she was to Nagi, hence why he's so hard on her in particular. Testing her resolve and all that shit

It's not like the cats--strays and. . .less than strays includes--don't sometimes come into the casino, but usually they avoid it. Even if Taiga tries not to eat the campus cats they know he eats anomalies and they spread the word. They rarely have anything delivered to them by the cats unless it's very important.

He'd seen the black and white cat on the EITS and had to make sure it wasn't his the black and white cat he was used to popping into Sinostra somehow stripped of the dress he'd made her--but Lucy were rarely on all fours and the patterns didn't match Lucia's. It wasn't running from anything so it wasn't in danger.

". . .just leave it. It'll move on on its own." It was the VIP room for a reason--if they didn't have business Romeo didn't just let anyone in. That included the campus cats. Although something about it irked him and he kept glancing at Morgan on the camera. The EITS could see anomalies that ordinary cameras couldn't but Morgan wasn't invisible in any way, just disguised, and it offered him no clarification on that front.

The cultural festival is 10 days away.

The deadline for ordering materials and ingredients has passed, and they have finally reached the peak of making sign boards and interior decorations.

At this time of year alone, many students come to school on the weekends. They should hope to finish preparing by today or tomorrow after school, but they can’t take time away from club activities.

Cultural clubs also have opportunities to present their club activities, and athletic clubs have long practices throughout the year. Making the most of one’s time in the midst of all this is in line with the school’s culture of valuing independence—or so one might think, but this tight schedule is the reason why each and every one of the executive committee members’ grades are allegedly dropping.

Midterm exams themself are next month, but they��re going to cover a lot of material. The contrast with the first semester, which had two rounds of exams in a short cycle, has even Hirano letting out a sigh.

At any rate, high school is much more challenging as a whole compared to middle school. Their teachers tell them to go visit their dream schools’ open campus days and school fairs, and in the same breath warn them that their comprehension level here will reflect in their scores on the national practice exam.

Autumn tends to be a hectic time, for second years and first years alike.

“Hirano-san, apparently there’s gonna be another typhoon in our area the day after tomorrow.”

His kouhai had come home looking restless; lately his mood has been going from sunny to rainy and back again in perfect tandem with the weather report.

Even Kagiura, who has been in a rush of busyness come second semester, has taken on a certain air of dignity in Hirano’s eyes, but right now it’s like he’s a child again. It’s as if every day is just before a field trip.

“That figures, at this time of year.”

“I wonder if next weekend will be okay…” His sigh is punctuated with a dry cough, and he fishes a lozenge out of his pocket. Maybe his throat is bothering him.

“Who knows? Well, there’s a backup day in case the festival day gets rained out.”

“Was last year okay?”

A clacking sound comes from Kagiura’s mouth, as if the lozenge knocked against his teeth.

“Hmm, how was it…I don’t remember, so prob’ly nothing happened.”

“The teacher did say it’ll only be canceled in case of heavy rain, so it seems like we’ll use the space below the gym or something, but I feel like we all might not fit…”

“Oh, right. So that’s what the courtyard booths are gonna do, huh? Sorry, I dunno.”

“I gotcha. Thanks anyway!”

“Speaking of which, have you guys worked out the schedule for your shifts yet? If I’m gonna go, I might as well go when you’re gonna be there.”

“We have, but…if we’re gonna coordinate, then I want to go around the festival with you.”

“Me?”

“I know this is last-minute, so if you already have someone else to go with, I’m cool with it.”

Yeah, that’s definitely the face of someone who’d be cool with it.

His kouhai’s expression has immediately gotten pouty, and Hirano isn’t sure if he’s going to give up quickly or dig his heels in.

“Maybe in the morning, then. All the stalls that have food are gonna be pretty crowded around noon, so I wanna get something to tide me over before then. Scout out where you wanna go ahead of time. I’ll keep an eye out, too.”

“Sure!”

Hirano opens a question packet so he doesn’t disturb Kagiura, who’d sat at his desk after declaring then I’m gonna do homework until dinnertime! The pauses between the sounds of the mechanical pencil scratching haltingly over the paper are punctuated with the occasional cough.

Like raindrops dripping on a rainy day, the slow moment stretches on, until he’s almost in a trance.

When Hirano, who’s gotten a bit worried, strains to listen, it seems like Kagiura’s drinking a lot more water than normal.

That’s understandable, he thinks.

The summer heat is still going strong; this kind of weather makes you want to jump in a pool during the daytime, while the days that turn into chilly nights are growing more frequent. 

Kagiura may be physically fit, but this can’t be an easy time for him, what with him bustling around for the festival executive committee and working up a sweat at morning and evening practices.

At the moment, it might just be a sore throat, but he’s the type that doesn’t know his own limits, so he needs to take care of himself before it turns into a full-on cold.

He’s probably stupidly resilient, though.

An Out of Nowhere Headcanon and AU:

I may be in the minority or the only actual person on this, but I honest to God think Barou Shouei is AoKaga's child.

Why?

- Shares Aomine's VA - Tall, bored expression and tough exterior, red eyes, frowning eyebrows - Is so competitive, reckless, and selfish - Regards football in ways he refused to lose without giving his whole self; a weirdly perfect amalgamation of AoKaga where he's very passionate and resilient like Kagami while simultaneously be able to naturally command his whole teammates due to his talent like Aomine - The red lightning strike and feline animalistic aura - He's so cocky and all mighty in football but outside of it he's a mother hen and is so responsible especially to cleaning

These are the main key points and there could be more for sure, but one thing is for certain is that watching blue lock and meeting Barou is such a writing experience to me, 'cause I just can't stop making up scenarios where he is being raised to be fussy in the household by Kagami and becomes progressively worse at being competitive when one is a child of sports junkies that is Aomine and Kagami.
