not even jealous of the goose. at least then the target of his attention would have opposable thumbs.

he is a mature demon. he can see reason. but it is so unfair that the goose likes simeon more than him.

what is it about simeon that makes him so special, huh? is it because he's an angel? no, because you still honk and hiss at luke all the same. is it the big cloak? no, because solomon has one too and he can't even go near you without being snapped at.

is it just because he's nice to you? not that either, because diavolo's absolutely lovely to you (far lovelier than most demons think a horrid goose deserves), and you still chase him down the hall whenever he's holding something you want.

so just what is simeon doing right?

the other day, he saw you sleeping in simeon's lap. sleeping. in his. lap. you won't even let most people with three feet of you!

as if to add insult to injury, simeon has started buying you treats. he has started making little wheat and oat biscuits specifically for you. he has bought you a little blue ribbon that you let him tie around your neck without lunging for his fingers even once.

you have started following him around the rad. it is now customary to see you waddling along behind him as he goes about his day, all other students giving you a wide berth. not that it matters to you, single-minded goose that you are.

lucifer had at first thought it was simply a case of you getting more tolerant. but no. if anything, you've gotten more tyrannical, and "argh! fucking goose!" has become a common cry around campus for when you cause mischief yet again.

at the very least, you don't deliberately go after him the same way you do mammon or levi. you seem to have a begrudging respect for him. which had stoked his ego at first, but now that he sees what you let simeon do, it's hardly a victory at all!

one day, he gets to rad early and finds that simeon has done the same - gone ahead of both solomon and luke. interest piqued, he follows simeon to... the archway where you sleep. of course.

"goose!" simeon calls up. "come here! i've got something nice for you!"

for anyone else, attempting to command you would be unthinkable. you are in charge; your honk calls the shots, and any foolish demon who thinks otherwise gets screamed at for their troubles.

but you come running, because of course you do. and you peep - peep! like a cute little chick and not a significantly large waterfowl, as simeon sets a little cup in front of you.

he has brought you strawberry water. you dunk your entire head in and come up with pink feathers. simeon giggles and carefully daubs the water from your feathers with the corner of his cloak.

strawberry water. was that the secret this whole time? surely not, because you had clearly already picked favourites before simeon first met you...

now this makes lucifer even more upset. simeon has been bringing you strawberry water, has he? has he not been bringing you that dish of beans every morning? if anything, he's proved himself much more concerned for your health! beans are far more nutritionally valuable than strawberry water!

this is all completely and utterly ridiculous and he cannot believe he is this bothered about a fucking goose. why does he even care?! it's fine. he's fine.

all of the members of the Junior Murderers Club (I call them Sixes) have bonded through childhood trauma, and LS is no different! they hated their name and hated being addressed by it, not necessarily because of gender reasons and not necessarily not because of gender reasons. she just was resentful and saw her name as a tie to her family, and so she hated when her friends (or anyone) called her lorena.

for a while she went by rena, but that was still Too Much and they just told everyone to call them 'LS' (their initials) as a placeholder, but then it stuck! now everyone calls her LS. now, whenever they meet someone 'in the workplace' (lol) that calls her by her birth name who isn't in the know, she will say dangerously "my name is LS. call me that again, and we will have problems"

LS is a goofball though and she lets the others call them by whatever acronym they can come up with for 'LS', the more absurd the better. my personal favorite is Leisurely Stroll, but other variations include LightSpeed, Little Sister, Little Shitter, etc.

Tandy's 1000, sold by Tandy Corporation in 1984 via its RadioShack stores, was a low-cost home computer designed to be compatible with IBM PC software. It shipped with an Intel 8088 processor, 128 KB of RAM, expandable to 640 KB, and had better-at-the-time graphics and sound than many of the standard PCs. The 1000 had the Tandy Graphics Adapter, or TGA, and the more superior SN76496 or NCR 8496 sound chips. The built-in joystick port also made it desirable for gamers and home users. Different models were produced, each with improved hardware, before being discontinued in 1993. One of the main selling features was its compatibility with IBM-PC, the MS-DOS operating system, and expansion slots for peripheral devices.

What Predictions Are Accepted?

They should be short - they need to fit on a bingo square! Longer predictions may be edited or broken down for clarity.

You can suggest squares related to story beats, props/costumes/sets, overall arcs, casting, etc. The sky is the limit and nobody is necessarily expected to be realistic, but submitting ideas you think are plausible or expect to happen will make the game more fun because it increases the chances of actually getting to mark a square. The sweet spot is a medium-ish level of specificity and plausibility.

Episode is optional but not required. (If you include an episode in your prediction, that prediction may or may not have the specified episode on every bingo card.)

When do I need to submit?

Card square suggestions close Friday, October 27. Everyone who has asked for a card by Friday, October 27 will have a card by 9pm Eastern Time on Sunday, October 29. (You can also sign up for a card at any time after that point, because it can be frustrating to find something after it's already started. And you can still submit a prediction if you want I guess, but it won't make it onto a bingo card.)

I can't play every week, how do I avoid spoilers?

Block the tags "#tgabingo" and the weekly tags, which will be "#tgabingo2x01", "#tgabingo2x02", etc. This blog will use those tags, and users participating are highly encouraged to use those tags as well as spoiler tags (e.g. "tga spoilers", "tgas2 spoilers").

Even considering that TGA fandom is small (or not very active at creating fan produce, more like) there's a goldmine of potential ships that are fully ignored! Especially F/F ones, obviously. Marian/Sylvia, Marian/Peggy, Bertha/Lina Astor, Gladys/Carrie... You name it. I saw there are a couple of Agnes/Armstrong fics and while it's not my ship, it's plausible enough, and I appreciate that person's vision for being unique. And tbh I find Oscar/John a waaay more interesting and complex and vivid as a canon ship than Larian (sorry but it's true and that's why I'm spamming to you and not on AO3)

Honestly I would disagree! The majority of F/M shipping content is just about two canonical ships. TGA fans who focus on F/F ships are more prolific, more varied, and, on other platforms, more active than M/M fans (and a good chunk of the M/M categorized fic on AO3 appears to be tagged as such alongside other categories because Oscar and John exist in the background). I've seen at minimum sincere discussion of all of the ships you've mentioned. I think it mainly comes back to your first point which is that on the whole there isn't a ton of fanfic coming out of the fandom—but certainly TGA is unique in some fan circles because of the lack of focus on M/M shipping, which for the most part is fine by me, and I hope the varied F/F shipping and content continues over time. But I would still probably argue that the most overlooked is M/M pairings other than the canonical one. People see a lot more femslash potential. And that's in no way a bad thing imo!

Synthesis of Oxygenated Fuel Additives via Acetylation of Bio-Glycerol over H2SO4 Modified Montmorillonite K10 Catalyst_Crimson Publishers

Abstract:

Growing global biodiesel production demands valorization of bio-glycerol derived from biodiesel, which is crucial to make bio refinery process economical. Hence, a series of H2SO4 modified sulfonated Montmorillonite K10 catalysts were synthesized, characterized and evaluated for acetylation of bio- glycerol with acetic acid to produce mono acetin (MAG), di acetin (DAG), tri acetin (TAG) and di-glycerol tri-acetate (DGTA), which are the oxygenated fuel additives and facilitate the economic viability of biodiesel production so the bio refinery. The synthesized catalysts were characterized by compressive suite of characterization techniques such as powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), low temperature N2physisorption, temperature programmed ammonia desorption (TPAD) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). The glycerol conversion and product distribution results were found to correlate with the acidity and textural properties of the catalyst. 20% (w/w) SO4/K10 was revealed to be a promising catalyst for glycerol acetylation with 99% glycerol conversion and with respective yield towards MAG, DAG, TGA and DGTA of 23%, 59%, 15%, and 2%. Moreover, 20% (w/w) SO4/K10 catalyst was found to maintain the stable catalytic activity for three reaction cycles. However, the partial catalyst deactivation was observed after third reaction cycle, partly due to deposition of coke and loss of active sites during the reaction.

Interest On The National Debt Poised To Rise At An Alarming Rate

Since the end of the fake debt ceiling fight on June 2, the Treasury has borrowed an additional $700 billion pushing the national debt over $32 trillion. Looking at the interest rates on this new debt, it becomes clear that the US government has a big problem.

The surge in borrowing in the wake of the debt ceiling deal was expected. The Treasury is playing catch-up after nearly six months up against its borrowing limit. But even after the Treasury replenishes the federal government’s checking account (called the Treasury General Account or TGA at the New York Federal Reserve Bank), borrowing won’t suddenly stop.

The debt ceiling deal supposedly cut spending, but we know actual spending will continue to rise. Given that the Biden administration is blowing through an average of $500 billion each month and running massive deficits month after month, it’s clear the misnamed  “Fiscal Responsibility Act” did nothing to address the root problem.

The problem isn’t purely a function of more debt. The bigger issue is that this new debt comes with a much steeper price tag. Interest on the national debt is rising at an alarming clip.

The trailing 12-month (TTM) interest on the debt clocked in at just under $600 billion in May. This was up from $350 billion at the start of 2022, less than 18 months ago. The government has added an extra $250 billion in expenses per year on just debt service.
