okay look, the real reason that zepotha shit is never gonna be Goncharov (besides it being a marketing ploy) is because Goncharov was treated like a fandom (collaborative including celebrities, built upon over time, openly fictional) & zepotha is treated like a tiktok trend (no collaboration, dies fast, treated like reality recklessly). it doesn't matter if it's interesting or cool or what, they've been built on completely different foundations. you're comparing Spiderverse to Endgame here. hydrogen bomb VS coughing baby. zepotha will never have Lynda Carter & Martin Scorsese's approval.

Goncharov was special because not only did we establish canon, we created a whole fanon gay interpretation and proceded to ignore the (not even real) original in favour of it. And thats what tumblr is all about.

(Technically spoilers from dec 25, but adaptation of something very old, so probably in the clear)

AITA for slaughtering most of the upper class men in my kingdom.

I am a king, I have been away from home for a very long time because the gods, and fortune itself, were all very unreasonable. And when I finally return to my home, I overheard a small army of men, all rich suitors of my wife, presumed a widow and expected to chose a husband, plotting to kill my son, among other things that I won’t mention here.

So, I strung my bow, and started shooting them from the shadows of my palace, killing every man who was present for the plot and didn’t at the very least speak or act against it. All of them, since none did so. Many plead for mercy, but where was that mercy before they knew they would lose the fight and die?

It’s the last of a long list of crimes, but why should I give these men who have harmed my family greatly and plan to do worse soon any more mercy than I was given by the sea when I was trying to reach home? Why should I not kill all of these men who, if our positions were reversed give no indication that they would so much as hesitate?

So, AITA for repaying violence planned against my family with death to all involved?
