Part two of my faves characters getting fancasted with a irl person for funzies and because I want to study how realistically they would look like
TURBO!!!! (Wreck it Ralph): This has been quite the hard choosing! Of course Turbo being the absolute diva he is, he couldn't have the face of just one person (ha-hah!). Let's roll with the first(s) one(s) shall we?
On this very day I'll offer you a dense turn back to the past of oldie Hollywood's Sunset Boulevard and to some of its most rampant short kings
The iconic Peter Lorre and James Cagney!
Lorre came under my attentive radar for the looks he rocks in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934).
The way he hold that fudging cigarette -- ! The half shut pudgy lids! PETER LORRE MY MAN.
Then for James Cagney! I choose him especially for his sturdy compact head. (aaagh so good) But above all that certain grimace he makes in William A. Wellman's The Public Enemy (Huh! This title. Coincidences? I think not). Just look at him. The hairs. The glare. He's perfect. Exquisite. Turbotastic even.
But still, this Turbo-Frankenstein we begun to sew together isn't complete yet. He lacks something.
Something than I found in
Taco Ockerse! Better know as TACO
And now if you excuse me, I'll go listen to Putting on the Ritz and imagine the hotheaded gamejumper having a cabaret moment
Others fancasting I made under the cut!
Bill Sykes (Oliver and Company)
Turbo (Wreck It Ralph)
Fix it Felix (Wreck it Ralph)

After eight!
I'm going to start this blog out with what could be a controversial take
I think puttin' on the ritz is a little bit overrated
It's not that I don't like it! Heck, I think it's my fourth most listened-to song this year, I just believe that Taco has a lot more to offer than just that
With that being said, let's talk about his first album, After Eight! I own two copies, the Canadian pressing and the Japanese pressing. I love the iconic look of the Canadian pressing, but something about how neat the Japan cover looked made me want to get a copy! I'm really glad I did, it came with a neat info page too! I've included it under the read more.
If I had to pick, I'd say my top five songs for this album would be these
After Eight
Encore (Sweet Gypsy Rose)
Carmela
Livin' in My Dreamworld
Singin' in the rain
Honestly, I love all the songs on this album, I wouldn't skip any of them. An all-around great album.
