One of the million bit of lore I'll eventually need to explain is that magic users are divided by the energy source they draw upon...

Different energies are better at different things, but with time and effort they can be put to any task. For example someone born with an affinity for fire magic could throw a fireball better than any of our trio, but that doesn't mean the boys couldn't do it too.

There are also some passive effects holding the energies within you; like a proto-spell it's something a magic user does automatically and unconsciously to digest the energy they naturally draw in but aren't doing anything with.

The effects are the kind of thing you'd expect; to use the example of the fire mage again, they'd not really notice hot or cold weather. Norman can see the dead, Dipper has near perfect recall, and Danny has heightened empathy.

Well the market ended early in absolute chaos because a random huge storm rolled in with the worst wind gusts I’ve ever seen here and everyone’s tents started blowing away. A couple vendor’s items flew all over the place and pretty much exploded, and it was so heartbreaking to see. The tent of the vendor next to us lifted up in the air and then crashed down on our tent and broke it, but luckily all of the jewelry is SAFE 😭 I feel soooo bad for all the vendor’s whose items broke; it’s so terrible knowing this was specifically a market for high quality handmade items that can’t just be easily replaced or remade.

So now we’re home with most of our setup taken down, and we’re going to get some pizza to console ourselves and then I’ll continue my sale on here. What an experience 😅

nvr needed a slime tutorial more than tn bc apparently the curtis dinner table broke before ritfr and brent and jason improved as their characters w jason hysterically laughing as brent tried to fix the table sarcastically saying “yeah just stay there i can fix it myself” like they know their characters so well bc tht is actually how darry and soda would respond imo

this is soo wild they’re so good esp with the already high tension from the scene. the laughing!!!? did jason act all guilty after or did he just brush it off?? was it broken the whole show or did they fix it?? bro i could literally make a whole fic outta this this is nauseating

neil’s you know, i get it monologue is so cunty and iconic, yet in the same instant i’m laughing about it, i’m also haunted by jean’s reaction to it. i’m thinking about how jean was appalled, yes, that anyone would talk to riko like that, let alone his misplaced forever partner this five foot nothing bundle of lies — but beneath that shock, he must have been so, so afraid to go back to the nest, knowing the anger riko would take out on him since he couldn’t yet take it out on neil who was always intended to endure such things alongside him, not incur them unilaterally upon him
