Chapter 11 Jumping Over The Ranger
In the forest, Ranger Tabes was watching the Poppy Rangers going through the obstacle course with Lucy, her boyfriend Kale, and Ranger Martinez by her side. The Poppy Rangers have spent all day preparing for their trip to Canada. In case something terrible happens, they’ll put their bravery and smarts to good use. The final obstacle was a rock climbing wall with a bell on top of it, with the first to ring it winning the obstacle course.
“Keep going rangers!” Ranger Tabes called with Parker fell into the mud from the monkey bars. “Go back and try again, Parker!“ She then turned to Wallace who hadn’t done ten push ups. “Wallace!” She shouted the moment Wallace headed to the next obstacle. “That’s nine push ups! Go back and do ten!” Wallace went back to redo the ten push ups.
Aside from Ranger Tabes and her friends, Griff, Tom and Isaac were watching underneath the trees. “I got to say man, these Poppy Ranger dudes have really upped their game.” Griff commented.
“Imagine if they come across something big and dangerous.” Tom added. “They wouldn’t even scream in fear.”
“Isaac knows they’re standing without the face of fear.” Isaac added.
As they continued to watch, another person watched The Poppy Rangers in the shadows of the trees. Yana laid against the tree, crossing her arms, watching the kids performing the obstacle course. She arrived two hours ago, while meeting some who hung out in and outside of the Bear’s cave. Kale didn’t forget she was there the moment she appeared. In fact, no one ever told him she was also coming along.
“Lucy.” He gets her attention. “Have you ever talked to this person?” He pointed at Yana.
“No.” Lucy responded. “I’ve talked to nearly everyone who’s coming along, including them.” She pointed at Griff’s group
“Have you met her Tabes?” He turned to Ranger Tabes.
“Not now, I’m paying attention here.” Tabes responded.
Ranger Martinez turned to Yana as he’s just as curious as Kale is. “Are The Poppy Rangers almost done?” He turned to Tabes.
“After this course, they’re all set for the trip.”
Nguyen and Murphy were the first to climb up the rock climbing course with them being neck and neck. Upon reaching near to the top, Nguyen hit the bell just before Murphy, as she began the first ranger to win the course. “I won!” She shouted.
“Have we done enough!?” Murphy asked, panting heavily.
“You’ve all done enough!” Ranger Tabes smiled. “You’re all ready for Canada!”
The Poppy Rangers cheered as Nguyen and Murphy all got back down from the rock climbing wall. “Three hours of training really feels like three days of no sleep or bathroom breaks.” Ranger Martinez commented. “Are you sure you can handle this?”
“Yes. While I wished the bears would give us days or a week, it never stops The Poppy Rangers and their bravery.”
As The Poppy Rangers took a drink from their water bottles, Grizz and Ice Bear appeared from the trees as they noticed Yana. “There she is.” Grizz pointed.
Ice Bear got some answers from the people by the cave, but on the other hand, there wasn’t a lot of progress she made of getting to know them. He and Grizz walked up to her as she took notice.
“You’re here so early?” Yana smirked. “Don’t worry, I’ve at least gotten to know two people.”
“Isaac and Chloe?” Ice Bear guessed.
“Maybe.”
“Yana.” Grizz chimed in. “Have you been standing there for a while?”
“I’ve been watching these kids.” She pointed at The Poppy Rangers. “They’ve been going around in circles on this obstacle course.”
“You didn’t talk to them? Especially with Ranger Tabes? And Lucy and her boyfriend?”
“Nope. I’ve seen they see me as the odd one out. They never saw that with the others.”
Ice Bear was aware everyone around took time to know each other’s names upon heading back by the cave. But since there’s not enough time left until tonight’s party before tomorrow's plane trip, Canada would be an empty experience for Yana. Without hesitation, he took her arm.
“Ice Bear demands you to make an impression with Tabes and Lucy, now.”
“Okay, I’ll do something.”
With Grizz walking from behind, Ice Bear and Yana walked up to Ranger Tabes with Lucy and Kale taking notice.
“Hey it’s Grizz and Ice Bear.” Griff smiled.
“With a girl.” Tom added. “She’s really not my type.”
“Isaac predicts conflict.” Isaac added.
“Hey Grizz and Ice Bear.” Lucy smiled.
“Where’s Panda?” Kale added.
“He’s in the cave in his room, hanging out with Amanda and her brother and sister.” Grizz answered. “Are The Poppy Rangers ready, Tabes?”
“Definitely.” Ranger Tabes smiled as she witnessed Yana for the first time. “Who’s this person?”
“Yana.” Ice Bear spoked.
“Yana?” Kale commented. “She’s…interesting.”
“What makes you think that?” Yana wondered.
“It’s your tattoo on your upper arm.”
“Like your two arms with tattoos all over it?” Yana looked straight at his arms. “Must be very painful to get all of them on.”
“It is…for only my first tattoo.”
“He got used to it.” Lucy added. “But still, I like your tattoo.”
“See, you’re getting along easily.” Grizz smiled.
“Hold on.” Ranger Tabes walked up to Yana. “Just because I’ve talked to nearly everyone who’s coming along, doesn’t mean I’m believing a word from her.”
“You think I’m a threat?” Yana guessed.
“No, but you’re someone who wouldn’t be a ranger in my eyes.”
“Oh geez.” Grizz lowered his head.
With The Poppy Rangers witnessing Yana in person, Diaz walked up to her, whom she took notice of. “Is it because you prefer minors as rangers rather than confident adults?”
“Hey, there’s nothing wrong with having kids as rangers.” Ranger Martinez chimed in.
“Yeah, regardless if Canada doesn’t have rocks for them to climb.” Ranger Tabes said.
“And you think I’m not incapable of climbing rocks?” Yana replied.
“You won’t keep up with me, unlike Lucy.”
Lucy turned to Tabes, confused from her choice of words. “What’s your problem with her?” She spoked.
“Yeah? She’s not a threat.” Grizz added.
“Ice Bear never wanted Yana to have a frenemy.” Ice Bear added.
“It’s not that, nor do I not trust her, but what would she do to prove to me she can make this trip better?” Ranger Tabes replied.
“She could do something out of the blue?” Diaz commented as everyone turned their attention to her. “Like…what would we do to get your approval that’s way better than getting a badge?”
“That’s a one in a million chance.”
“I doubt that.” Yana crossed her arms. “In my book, I went through more than one in a million chances.”
“At least I believe the bears way more since I protect the forest’s animals all the time.”
“Well, not long since I’m gonna do that job while you’re gone.” Ranger Martinez said.
“Guys, me and my boyfriend might do something out of the blue.” Lucy replied.
“So could the bears.” Kale commented.
“If there’s one thing I’m sure we can agree on, our own vacations aren't about who gets the better vacation. And Tabes.” She turned to her. “If you had to spend one day with her, would you find her at least enjoyable?”
Ranger Tabes wanted to believe Lucy, especially what awaits her tomorrow, including The Poppy Rangers but her plans aren’t the same as Yana. She knows Yana is one of those people who's willing to come over to the Tornado, but her plans, despite sleeping in a hotel, are little inside of cities.
“No.” She answered. “Because…”
“Because I’m not like you?” Yana guessed.
“Yes.”
When she turned to the obstacle course, it gave her an idea. “How about a challenge?”
“For fun, not competition!” Grizz reacted.
“Yes, no competition.” Ranger Tabes agreed. “What challenge?”
“A race on the obstacle course.” Yana answered. “Just one lap for the first person to ring the bell.”
“You wanna race with me?”
“Yes.”
“Do you mind if I join?” Lucy offered. “I want to see how fast she is compared to me.”
“As Co-Rangers, we’ll show her our ranger spirit.”
“Rangers!” Diaz turned to The Poppy Rangers. “Ranger Tabes and Co-Ranger Lucy’s racing against the new girl in the obstacle course!”
The Poppy Rangers cheered as they moved away from the obstacle course, watching from the sidelines. As Tabes, Lucy and Yana went to the starting line, Griff and his friends walked next to Grizz and Ice Bear. “Hey Grizz.” Griff smiled. “What’s going on here?”
“Who’s she?” Tom wondered.
“She’s Yana.” Grizz answered. “She’s…Ice Bear’s partner, coming along.”
“Partner?”
“It’s a long confusing story that me and Panda learned last night.”
Ice Bear didn’t respond, as he’s paid attention to Yana racing against his friends. He expected something simple, but as long as it’s a good first impression, he’ll take it. Yana stared at the obstacle course, as she placed her hands on the ground in position. “Are you sure you can do this without practicing the course at least once?” Lucy said, also getting into position.
“It’s not like we’re gonna remember this course when we get back.” Yana said. “But we will remember the outcome.”
“You wish.” Ranger Tabes being the final to get into position. “Bet your outcome in Canada won’t be as great as mine.”
Wallace placed the whistle in her mouth as she blew it hard. Ranger Tabes, Lucy and Yana ran to the balance steps with Tabes being the first to get on. Upon stepping on the ten steps while getting on the staircase, their next obstacle is the high ropes. Tabes got on the first high rope while Lucy got on second.
“I’m starting to think that Yana isn’t the fastest.” Tom commented.
“It’s still the start of the course.” Griff added.
“Even if she did get ahead, Lucy would still beat her for how fast she is.” Kale added.
Yana managed to finish the high ropes as she crawled underneath the boot camp obstacle. She’s on Lucy’s tail, who’s also on Tabe’s tail, she’s not giving up in order to prove a point to Tabes. After getting out of the boot camp obstacle, Tabes and Lucy got on the monkey bars while Yana jumped to the fourth bar.
“Coming through, Co-Rangers!” She climbed in between them as she’s in the lead.
The ten push ups were the next as Yana jumped down, doing her push ups as fast as she could. “You’re still not gonna win!” Ranger Tabes taunted as she and Lucy began their push ups.
Yana finished her push ups, but it wasn’t long until Tabes and Lucy finished theirs. “Man, they’re doing great!” Grizz smiled.
“Talk about years of athletics.” Parker smiled. “Tabes is still doing great.”
“But Yana’s doing better.” Nguyen added.
After doing the following obstacle, all that’s left was the rock climbing wall. Yana got in the middle while Tabes and Lucy got to the left and right separately. Even with it outdoors, it was almost the same size from the one in the gym from San Francisco. Ranger Tabes and Yana are neck and neck, while Lucy starts to climb faster.
“You’re starting to sweat?” Yana grinned.
“I never sweat!” Tabes responded. “Especially Lucy!”
With everyone watching, They climbed past the middle section of the rock climb itself. “Have you ever climbed borders?” Lucy panted. “Tabes trained me to climb them.”
“You don’t know what I’m capable of!” Yana responded. “Just because your ranger friend thinks I’m the odd one in the group, doesn’t mean I’m the boring one.” She went faster, focusing on the objects to climb on before Tabes and Lucy.
“They’re getting close to the top.” Ranger Martinez spoked.
“You can’t prove to me you’re not the boring one!” Tabes said.
Yana climbed to the top as she rang the bell, being the winner of the obstacle course but knew it wouldn't impress Tabes. She turned around, looking down at Tabes as she and Lucy looked up at her.
“Then I bet you'll be jealous of this.” Yana jumped over Tabes, off the top of the rock climb as Lucy stared at her before she got to the top. Everyone watched Yana fall straight down the air while Isaac took out his phone, recording it when it happened. As for Ice Bear, he knew she would do something like this, but not in a stunt of showing off. She landed on the ground with her feet, but she wasn’t harmed upon landing. She lifted her body back up with her hair flow on her back, with a grin on her face.
“Whoa!” Lucy reacted.
“She didn’t break a bone.” Tabes blinked, looking down.
The Poppy Rangers cheered as they ran up to Yana. “That was awesome!” Murphy shouted.
“You landed on the ground like a superhero!” Wallace added.
“Just don’t do it yourselves in Canada.” Yana responded. “There's a reason trained professionals never ever jump off high cliffs.”
Grizz and the others felt like they watched a stunt double perfmored in a movie, but in a real scenario rather than a staged one. It would take dedication to perform an extremely dangerous stunt like that. “My girlfriend would never do that.” Kale commented.
“It would no doubt break her legs.” Ranger Martinez added.
“We really need to know Yana now.” Tom added. “She’s a tough lady.”
“She’s gonna make the trip really fun.” Griff added.
“We're going to the cave now!” Yana called to the bears. “I’m ready for Canada!”
As Yana and The Poppy Rangers left the area, Ranger Tabes and Lucy climbed back down. They walked up to the group who felt stunted the entire time. “If the animals here saw what she just did,” Ranger Tabes spoked. “They won’t believe I would do that.”
“At least she did something out of the blue.” Grizz smiled.
“Too far out of the blue if you ask me.” Lucy responded. “Maybe she’s more of an outsider friend.”
“Ice Bear’s outsider’s status agrees with you.” Ice Bear said.
“He would tell you everything about her, but it’s time to head to the cave.” Grizz pointed in the direction.
“Yeah, it’s getting late and you all need to be on time for your flight tomorrow morning.” Ranger Martinez added.
“But what do you think of Yana, Tabes?”
As Tabes tried to accept the fact she got beaten fair and square, she took a deep breath to focus on tonight’s party. “She’s nowhere near as bad as the Ivy Rangers, and Ranger Zhao.”
“At least in a cocky way, Zhao wouldn’t perform a stunt like that.” Lucy smiled.
“Yeah, she would’ve stayed in the hospital for a long time.”
“Thankfully, she and the rangers aren’t coming with us.”
“Exactly.” Grizz said as he and the group headed back. “As long as no one’s coming after us, it’ll be the greatest Canada trip ever.”
“You said it dude.” Griff responded.

Chapter 12 Night Party Before Aviation
Night has officially fallen with everyone hanging out at the party in and around the Bear’s cave. Everyone parked their vehicles knowing the first thing they’re doing tomorrow morning is drive out of the forest and straight to the airport. They agreed to the bears sleeping over for tonight so they can all leave together. With everything out of the way, all that’s left is to enjoy themselves for the night with their big adventure coming tomorrow.
Inside Panda's bedroom, Panda’s reading one of his volumes of Dr. Ocelot with Amanda, Chanda and Tatiana. “I’m starting to love Dr. Ocelot.” Tatiana smiled.
“I told you, you would enjoy it.” Panda replied.
“She really knows how to kick butt!” Chanda added.
“I would bring more volumes along but…it’s a long story that happened underneath.” Panda pointed at the ground.
Amanda’s brother and sister laughed while Amanda walked next to Panda. “If there’s an anime convention in Toronto, they would like to see Dr. Ocelot live in person. That’ll be enough to read many more volumes.”
“That’s where we’re taking them before we leave.” After Panda put his Dr. Ocelot volume away, he, Amanda and her siblings headed outside of his bedroom. They head outside the cave where Ice Bear’s handing out drinks, while Chloe is assisting Grizz to set up his speech with Gayle by his side. “I’m gonna be with the bros now.”
“Okay, I’ll hang out with Samantha for the rest of the night.” Amanda smiled. “Let’s go Chanda and Tatiana.”
“See ya, Panda!” They both cheered.
“See ya too, get some good rest tonight.” Panda made his way to Grizz with a microphone in his hand. “So, is everyone here?”
“Everyone we know is here.” Grizz responded.
“And I’ll do a head count when we all get outside tomorrow.” Gayle smiled.
“Be ready to make your speech Grizz.” Chloe turned to him. “It’s almost ready.”
“No problem.” Grizz responded as Chloe went back to set up the speakers. “I’m ready to step foot in Canada. Are you excited?”
“Yes I am.” Panda responded. “So aside from Nom Nom…if we meet him, what are you planning to do in Canada?”
“Hang out with Pan-Pan and Ice B!” He cheered. “We at least deserve a day hanging out together.”
“Yes, but on your own.” This caused Grizz to look at Panda. “On my own, I’m hanging out with Amanda and her siblings while Ice Bear might be on his own. If you’re gonna be on your own, there’s at least something you should search for.”
Grizz had been going everywhere with his brothers doing the same, to have everyone be all set for the flight. But now, all that’s left is what he’s gonna do on his own. Finding the excitement coming his way that could give his Canada adventure memories he’ll forever remember.
Meanwhile, farther away from the party, Charlie and Panda Jr. slowly made their way to the party lights. With his only goal to inform Ralph about the time to get a head start tomorrow morning, he’ll do anything to go with them as long as he doesn’t get caught.
“I can hear them.” Charlie spoke quietly. “There’s gonna be a lot of people there.” Panda Jr. hid behind Charlie’s head as Charlie saw people hanging out with each other. He noticed Ranger Tabes with Kirk by her side, talking to Karla and her sister, Amy. Upon hiding the bushes, he heard their conversation.
“You’re gonna miss the animals here?” Karla asked.
“Yes, every single one of them.” Ranger Tabes responded. “As much as they should feel the wonders of Canada, I can only bring one animal along.” She looked down at Kirk who barked.
“I went through this place a few times and came across animals.” Amy smiled. “But since you know all the creatures here, what’s the most important animal who should come even if they won’t?”
Ranger Tabes took out a picture of a deer with a broken antler and showed it to them. “My second most important animal is Little Buck.” She responded.
“Oh, what happened to his antler?” Karla wondered.
“I broke it, but it was an accident. He still managed to be with another deer even with only one antler.” She leaned towards them, whispering in their ears. “He fought a homewrecker.”
“Really?” Amy giggled. “We could see something like that in Canada.”
Ranger Tabes leaned back. “The Poppy Rangers could encounter something like that, but most of the animals are mostly friendly.”
“So what’s your first important animal who should really come?”
“Charlie.” She put her photo away.
“Charlie?” Karla followed on. “What type of animal is he?”
“I can’t say that.”
“How come?”
“Because…he’s not the type to hang out with humans.”
“He’s shy?”
“No, he’s really afraid of humans.”
Charlie couldn’t believe his name was in a conversation, but felt relieved Ranger Tabes told them the truth on why he isn’t in the public eye of humans.
“I feel like him coming along would put him in an environment he’ll enjoy the most. Especially since…Canada has more forests compared to here.”
“Considering the amount of animals you’ve taken care of, they wouldn’t be part of a herd if they’re traveling separately.”
“They could travel together as a big herd.” Amy responded. “Forest to forest meeting more big herds, it does happen.”
“It is true and Charlie does meet other animals. But it’s really sad he’s not gonna experience it. And either way, he’s not gonna get over his fear towards humans which is something that still wouldn’t happen if he came along.”
Charlie slowly lowered his head in shame. No matter what happens if he succeeds tonight, tomorrow morning, and arrives in Canada, he can’t face his fear in any situation he could get stuck in. “Ralph would brag out in the open if they ever met him.”
“Everyone!” Grizz spoked through the microphone, getting everyone’s attention as Ranger Tabes, Karla and Amy made their way to the wooden stage where Grizz is at. As everyone gathered up to Grizz, Charlie paid attention to Grizz’s words while still hiding his presents. “It’s really an amazing honor that we’re all here for our trip to Canada tomorrow.”
Chloe then pressed a button, releasing a Canadian flag next to Grizz. Everyone clapped with some cheering. “Canada, here we come!” Samantha shouted.
“Now we're leaving at three o’clock in the morning, so we have enough time to get to the airport for our flight at four o’clock.”
“It’s gonna be almost five hours until we arrive in Canada.” Chloe added.
“If nothing bad happens, we should be there at nine o’clock.”
“That’s really hard for some of us to get up.” Clifford commented.
“Then you don’t know how I feel when I wake up so early every morning.” Lucy looked down at her brother.
“But at the very least, we can check into our hotels and get straight to our adventures.” Grizz smiled. “It’s a big country, so we'll be there for a long time…” He then looked at Darrell who he clenched his teeth. “...but only the places that'll be close to us.”
“I know.” Darrell responded.
“But Toronto’s a big city with so many activities to do. There’s more than enough for all of us to have fun.”
Panda and Ice Bear all got up next to Grizz as he handed Panda the microphone. “There may be problems when we get there, but it’s better than not going at all.”
Ice Bear leaned towards Panda’s arm. “Ice Bear is sure there’s no tearing groups apart from beginning to end.” He leaned back.
“Including couples, with one giving her siblings the adventure of a lifetime.” Panda looked straight at Amanda who adored his comment. Panda gave the microphone back to Grizz to give the final saying of the speech.
“We have one more hour to party until bedtime, let’s savor every single second for our adventure to Canada!” Grizz lifted his hand up as everyone cheered.
They continued to party for the following hour as Charlie had the information he needed to inform Ralph later. He made the choice to stay a little longer even though he can’t party with them. It wasn’t easy, but he was lucky no one had spotted him, including the bears and Ranger Tabes. When it all ended, nearly everyone slept inside the cave while the rest slept in the shack behind the cave.
Inside Grizz’s room, Grizz was the last to stay awake while everyone, including his brothers went to sleep. He still thought about what Panda said to him and if he did tell his friends about it, they'd give him options but it’s the obvious direction. His mind about Canada since yesterday is more of a mystery the more he thinks about it.
“I’ve been spending most of my life wanting to get recognized by everyone here…” He sat on his bed. “...Canada’s like a free ticket of happiness.” He took a deep breath in order to focus on the arrival tomorrow. “It’s never a bad thing, but if we had passports while running away…Agent Trout wouldn’t interfere with any of the animals there if he tried.”
His memory flashed, remembering how he almost lost his brothers behind cell bars. But he’s no longer afraid of him, especially after the time he finally stood up to him, along with the other bears he and his brother rescued. One thing’s for sure, he knows there's bears in Canada’s forests. It may not be the first thing he’ll do when he gets there but he’s waiting until it happens.
He tucked himself to bed to be prepared for the early rise tomorrow morning. “Keep it chill Grizz, everything’s going to be fine, it’s just you, your bros and a whole group of friends coming along. Nothing will ever ruin this adventure.” He closed his eyes as he became the last to fall asleep. Little did he realize, Charlie watched him through the window with Panda Jr. still by him.
He refuses to wake him up along with the other people inside. But he’s really thankful to go out in the open without getting spotted, despite the risk. He went to the Canadian flag, still hanging as he walked up to it. Panda Jr. looked at the flag himself while Charlie took a deep breath. “Well…it’s our Canada adventure if we bypass the airport and get onto the plane they’re going on.” He commented. “I just wish Ralph’s smart enough to do that.”
Panda Jr. looked at him as Charlie looked straight at him. “I know we don’t have enough time to say goodbye to our friends in the forest, but I was too desperate.” He looked back at the cave, still relieved that no one from inside spotted him. “The bears wouldn’t even believe how I got to Canada uninvited. In fact, they haven’t been thinking about Ralph for a long time.”
He again looked at Panda Jr. “Ralph isn’t as bad as what they’ve been through.” He then left the location, heading straight to where Ralph is at. He’s uncertain how Ralph can do it, but once he gives him the information, it’s all his doing to sneak him onto the plane. But no matter what, he’s dealing with his own problems the instant he’s done with Ralph’s help.

Chapter 13 The Bewitching Little Trap
Barry, along with his syndicate, arrived in Vancouver, Canada, high over the city as they flew past the airport. The jet turned after leaving the city, heading to the North Shore Mountains where HQ is located, away where the citizens can’t find it. The jet began to descend towards the runway as Barry and his syndicate readied themselves. The jet stopped at the end of the runway, next to the HQ with only the streetlights on.
“We’re here.” Barry smirked as he and the group got up. The jet's door opened, allowing the syndicate to disembark, heading straight to the building.
“You really know how to put money into good use, do you?” Buck turned to Barry.
“It’s the technology where I put my money into good use.” Berry responded.
“Never found technology a specialty.”
“Neither do I.” Courtney chimed in. “But I’m not against it when it’s a weapon against the bears.”
The syndicate entered inside the building with their first destination being the storage room. All the way at the back of HQ. Barry made sure all the contents of his plan remained hidden from the public eye. Especially the people he joined for not only his, but their own revenge. “The organization that I work in is Techies Gang.”
“And you keep that as a private organization?” Buck asked.
“I wouldn’t have all the money I have if it was public.” They then came across a door that was wide open. Buck checked inside where people are playing a robot battle game with tons of robots being destroyed.
“You really have a sense of aggression.”
“I would consider my sense of…triumphant.” Barry turned around.
“That is, if triumphant requires aggression.” Dave commented.
“He’s really triumphant when he can overcome the innocents.” Norm added. “In this case, I’m looking forward to what tech he has in storage.”
They made it to the door where everything according to the plan was behind. Barry took out his keys and unlocked it, opening it so the rest of his syndicate could come inside. They witnessed another person waiting for them, chewing gum along with a big black curtain in the end of the room. “We're heading to Toronto tomorrow, in the late afternoon on our private jet to put our plan into motion.” Barry responded. “So in the meantime, let me give you a warm welcome to our biggest weapon against the Panda lover.”
They walked up to the person who took notice of them the moment they came in. He had long brown hair that stopped on his shoulders, he had a green coat with ripped pants with his knees revealing. He blew a bubble of his gum, popping it in front of the syndicate as he grinned. “How's it going?”
“Really devious.” Courtney responded as Barry and Dave walked next to him.
“This guy is Gabriel.” Barry said. “Dave called him just a couple of days ago and he’s been here since.”
“It’s all part of breaking Panda’s heart.” Dave added. “Since he broke my heart.”
“Yes yes, you established your old love life.” Buck rolled his eyes. “I never got married, but never been on an island.”
“Are you on my side or not?”
“I am. So what’s the strategy?”
“The strategy,” Gabriel spoked. “Is to show Panda and his girlfriend that I’m more than just a guy, but someone who’s just a cool citizen in Toronto who wants to be friends.”
“Nothing to do with love?”
“Oh, there will be love. Just because I'm a weapon of breaking a panda bear’s heart, doesn’t mean I’m stupid.”
“He’s not a fan of anime from what he told me, he’s an intellectual of romance.” Dave grinned. “Movies, sitcoms, ever since he turned thirteen.”
Buck and the others catched on with him being the person that he is. “Did you cheat on your girlfriend?” Buck wondered.
“Yes.” Gabriel answered.
“Did you have remorse for your actions?”
“No, I don’t.”
“That explains everything.”
“Better than getting an actual loser.” Barry said as he made his way to the poster of Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear displayed on the left side of the storage. “And I’m sure if we ever get into a roadblock of any kind, we'll make sure we kick them down.” He then turned around, crossing his arms. “Our main goal of heading to Toronto is to abduct one member of their group, taking him or her here so they can’t go back without a friend left behind.”
“That’s the issue.” Courtney commented while also crossing his arms. “We’ve only met one of their friends, not even half.”
“Capturing Dana, who went to Ranger Con isn’t enough.” Norm added. “There has to be one friend who is more precious to them.”
Buck remembered that after the bears were taken away, he met four people who they’re friends with the bears. He did see a very young kid with glasses, who stood out the most while the others were adults. “There’s a kid who I still remember.” Buck getting everyone’s attention. “She’s really that precious to them. I don’t know her name, but she’s the one they’re never ever leaving Canada without.”
“Great.” Barry replied. “You should be the one to abduct her.”
“We just need to know where they’re staying, while keeping their friends out of it.”
“We’ll split up when we arrive in Toronto, then we will reunite to abduct her.”
“Mate.” Courtney responded. “You said on the way here, I’m going to a forest nearby.”
“Yes, but it isn’t gonna be for hunting.” Barry walked past him. “You'll get your vengeance against them later. Because what comes first.” He and the group walked up to the black curtain. “Will be our greatest trap.” They enter inside with everything being pitch black. Barry took out his remote in his pocket, pressing a button with one light turning on from the end of the storage room.
There was a cage with one bear cub inside, taking notice of the light turning on but in fear without any freedom. She turned to Barry who just came up to her, she backed away to the other side of the cage. Buck and the others witnessed the cub itself as it was almost the same color as Ice Bear.
“This little creature will be everything according to the plan.”
“So I gotta drop this critter in the forest by Toronto?” Courtney looked at the cub. “Expected the cub to be vicious.”
“It wouldn’t even make our plan work.” Barry then placed his arm on top of the cage. “They may not find it tomorrow night, or the day after tomorrow, but they will find it to take care of it.”
“And just how are we gonna accomplish that afterwards?” Gabriel said.
Barry snapped his fingers, getting the attention from one of his members of Techies Gang with a silver briefcase. Upon giving it to him, Barry unlocked it with the combination, presenting the contents to his syndicate as he opened it. The contents inside revealed items of stickers, different colors and shapes.
“Don’t be fooled with these.” He smirked. “These stickers are not only permanent once being put on, but they have a really small camera for us to spot anything that happens.”
“Interesting.” Buck grinned. “Hard to believe, but I’ll take it.”
The cub’s shaking, afraid of what they’re gonna do to her. “So which one should we pick?”
“I think I found the one that makes her really innocent.” Buck picked up the neon-blue star sticker, while looking at the cub and back to the sticker. “This color matches her.”
“I agree with him.” Norm commented.
“Let’s put it on her.” Dave added.
Barry closed the briefcase as he took out his key, unlocking the cage. Upon opening it, Countney grabbed the cub with his hand, taking her out while holding onto her with both of his hands. A tear came down from the cub’s eye, but it didn’t stop the syndicate’s plan. Buck peeled the end off as he turned to the cub. “This won’t hurt you at all.” He went closer to her. “But it’ll hurt them more when the time comes.” He placed the sticker on her chest, tightly as the cub closed her eyes. Courtney immediately put her back into the cage as Barry locked the cage.
“They can try everything to get it off, it’ll never come off.” Barry replied as he took out his phone, revealing the camera’s perspective on the cub’s sticker. “We'll be watching everything.”
“I can’t think of a better way to begin our revenge tomorrow.”
“Feels great to be part of the group now, Buck?”
“More grateful.” Buck crossed his arms as he and the syndicate watched the cub inside the cage with a star sticker on her chest. “The bears will never cross the border of any country ever again.” The cub covered her eyes with her hands, sobbing with no way out. The moment she gets dropped off in the forest, the rest is history with no one to stop it, including the bears and their group. The syndicate left the area with Barry being the last to stop.
“Sweet dreams and nightmares.” He pressed the button to turn off the light, leaving the cub alone in the darkness as she continued to cry throughout the night.

Chapter 14 Hidden 35,000 Feet High
At two thirty in the morning, Charlie, Panda Jr. and Ralph made a head start out of the forest while wearing disguises. Panda Jr. hid in Charlie’s disguise in one of the pockets as they arrived by the airport just before the time the bears and the group arrived. Charlie felt too tired without sleeping over the night just to follow Ralph. He couldn’t keep his body up as once he snuck in, the first thing on his mind was sleeping throughout the flight.
As they hid behind a truck, Ralph kept an eye on his surroundings, making sure no one caught him in the act. “Charlie.” Ralph turned to him. “Wake up.”
“I’m trying.” Charlie attempts to keep his eyes open. “You sure you know what you’re doing?”
“Never doubt me. There’s a reason why we’re not going inside.”
“Does each plane have directions from the airport building?”
“Yes, but to stay out of sight, we’re taking the safer route.” As they moved to the next truck, Ralph saw the plane with the Canadian colors on it, along with the logo. “There she is.”
As Charlie looked at the plane, he couldn’t believe the bears did it. “That’s enough for their whole group to be inside.”
“That’s right. We're entering where all their luggage goes.”
“How are we getting out when we get there?”
“Don’t worry, I’ve got that figured out. Just keep following my lead.”
Inside the airport, the bears and their group were waiting for the announcement to get on their flight. Some were tired from waking up way earlier than normal, while others were less lethargic. The bears sat together with all of their and the group’s luggage all packed. Panda felt a little energetic hanging out with Amanda and her siblings, while Ice Bear’s ready for his first activity in Toronto. Grizz however remained feeling down ever since he got up. He’s still considering the first activity to do even if it’s a work in progress until they get there. He looked at the clock as it was almost time to get on board.
“Ice Bear.” Panda turned to Ice Bear. “Should I wake some of them up in case they fall over on their way to the plane?” Ice Bear nodded as Panda got up, preparing to get most of the people ready. “Any ideas for yourself Grizz?”
“We can talk about it when we board.” Grizz responded. Panda accepted the offer as he went to his friends. Grizz looked out the window where his plane is next to the air bridge. The Canada logo is where he’ll be seen anywhere upon arriving, as so do his brothers and friends. Once they get inside the plane, their adventure will be waiting for them in less than five hours.
Just when their announcement was up, back outside, the employees opened the cargo hold, as they turned their attention to the luggage coming out. As they prepared to carry their luggage, Charlie and Ralph immediately got inside the cargo hold without getting caught. Upon reaching the end, the employees tossed the luggage inside, they paid attention to more luggage while Charlie and Ralph crawled down, camouflaging behind the luggage itself.
Back inside the airport, the whole group got inside the plane thanks to the air bridge. The bears took their seats in first class, along with their best friends sitting around them. With the rest of the luggage being put in the cargo hold, the employees closed it up. “We’re all set.” The employee spoke through his headset.
The pilot received the message as he turned on the speakers inside all the classes. “Ladies, gentlemen and bears.” He spoke through the microphone. “We’re about to take off to Toronto, Canada. We'll be landing there in five hours, so sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.”
With the air bridge being moved away, the plane began to move to the runway. In no time, the plane sped up and eventually lifted into the air. Everyone looked out their windows as they climbed out, leaving San Francisco. “Well, we’re off.” Karla commented.
“It’s finally happening.” Griff added.
“Won’t be back until we all feel like it.” Ranger Tabes added.
“Canada essay, here I come.” Saanvi added.
Soon the plane left behind San Francisco, with the lights disappearing into the distance. It climbed up through the clouds, high enough above them with not a single person in the group behind. Inside the cargo hold, Ralph sat down relaxing while Charlie laid down with Panda Jr. coming out of his pocket. “We did it, for now.” He responded.
“Told you to never doubt me.” Ralph responded. “Enjoy your sleep while it lasts, you’re on your own.”
“I know.” Charlie responded. “I don’t need to ask if you miss San Francisco.”
“That place got stale as milk anyway. Just make sure you come up with a way to get back on the plane back there.”
“Doing what we just did?”
“Yes, unless the airport in Canada has better security.” Charlie moaned with his slumber getting the better of him. He laid his head on the ground as Panda Jr. slept next to him. “He has nothing, while I’m basking all the glory being gift wrapped for myself.” Ralph laid his head with his arms against the wall as he waited for the plane to land.
Three hours passed, as the sun shone through the windows of the plane. Everyone woke up from the slumber as they filled their spare time, with nearly two more hours until landing. Panda and Ice Bear waited patiently while Grizz watched his Crowbar Jones projects to pass the time.
“Grizz.” Panda poked on Grizz’s arm as Grizz paused his project. “Since we’re on the plane…three hours have passed, do you have any ideas?”
“I’m still thinking about it.”
“You’re planning on going with Ranger Tabes and The Poppy Rangers?”
“It’s gonna happen later today, but it’s something.”
“You should at least have something to do in the meantime.”
Chloe then popped up from behind. “There’s still the hotel we need to get to.” She spoked. “Are we gonna search for one?”
“Ice Bear promises its first goal before beginning day one.” Ice Bear responded.
“I’ll check the hotels online once we land. But yeah Grizz, there has to be something for you to plan for yourself.”
“Do I have to be alone to make it work?” Grizz said.
“No, not at all.”
“No one’s going to be alone throughout the trip, but every moment is for everyone. Seek for your moment.”
“I’m sure it’s possible but the question is, does the moment seek me?”
Ice Bear then turned to Yana, who’s sitting on the other side of the first class. She looked out the window, waiting until the time came. He still remembered what she did yesterday, but knew that moment wasn’t seeking her as she seeked it herself.
“Ice Bear.” Grizz turned to him. “Are you waiting for your moment to seek you?”
“There will be many moments other than that.” Panda replied. “Plus, nothing bad’s gonna happen to us.”
“I’m aware.” Grizz turned back to Panda. “It is my idea on going to Canada, I just didn’t think we'd go this far.”
“If you never got Agent Trout arrested and saved the bears, maybe you wouldn’t be this famous by getting to Canada this way.” Chloe smiled. “Especially since we have passports now.”
“True, but on the other hand, we could’ve planned this months ahead of time, instead of just two days ago.”
“We can’t argue with that.” Panda said. “But if we did stay a little longer, we wouldn’t have the surprises come our way.”
“Canada is full of surprises despite doing research.” Chloe added. “Like when you made it to the border there, what was your first thought?”
Grizz remembered the moment he almost arrived in Canada while escaping from Agent Trout. Despite the miscalculation afterwards, it was sealed in his mind ever since. “I wanted to make a home in another cave.”
“Another cave?”
“We need to make a home to live there, so we could try finding one. We’re staying in a hotel, yeah, but it could give us the feeling when we made our home back home.”
“I like it.” Panda smiled. “But what about making the home?”
“We don’t have to. But if there’s animals homeless, we can make a home for them.”
“I don’t think there will be animals who could be homeless, but it’s worth a shot.” Chloe also smiled.
“Ice Bear’s willing for bro’s possible homecoming for lost animal.” Ice Bear commented.
“You should tell Ranger Tabes about it when you go with her.”
“I will.” Grizz smiled.
The plane continued to fly over the clouds, thirty and a half thousand feet in the air. With Grizz having a plan at least, he’ll see if there’s a cave that suits perfectly similar to the one back home, or even better.
Two hours have passed with the plane arriving at Toronto's airport. It landed on the runway and gradually slowed down. Upon reaching the gate, the employees connected an air-bridge to the plane. Back under the plane, they opened the cargo hold to get the luggage out. Once they managed to hand out the first pieces of luggage, one was thrown out on the ground, alerting them in an instant.
“What in the world?” One employee walked down from the cargo hold, witnessing the luggage being thrown out. Ralph and Charlie head out as fast as they can, jumping off just before the employee checks inside. They ran out of the airport while hiding like before. They head into the woods as Charlie panted, even after getting his sleep.
“We made it.” He spoked.
“And my work and help here is done.” Ralph grinned. “It’s been a pleasure knowing you, Charlie. Enjoy your boring adventure without me.”
“Good luck on not getting transferred.”
“That’ll be unlikely, unlike you.” Ralph headed to Toronto, leaving Charlie and Panda Jr. “Good luck having your friends protect you from that. That is…If you can handle meeting their friends.”
Charlie remained silent as he turned to the airport. He’ll be lucky if the bears helped him back to San Francisco, but he doesn’t have a passport like them. Panda Jr. got onto his shoulder as Charlie looked at him. “At least I’ve got someone to talk to.” He smiled as Panda Jr. nuzzled on his cheek. “Thanks. Let’s meet some new animals.” He went in his own direction to the forest with many animals. He may not leave on time with the bears and others when it happens, but it’s not stopping him for his own adventure with the only animal he has with him. But if they get left behind, the bears will never ever let go of their whereabouts when they find out.

Glory of love(Eleazar Denali)
Chapter 11: truck repairs and the treaty.
Table of contents
Tumblr media
The next morning I spent most of the morning in the kitchen grading papers, Eleazar went home to hunt a little after I got up. Bella then walked into the kitchen with an usually happy attitude.
“good morning” she said opening the fridge. My head shot up confused. “what's that supposed to mean?”
Bella shrugged and poured herself some orange juice. “nothing... Good morning”
I hummed and looked back down at the essays I was grading. Bella quitely sat down at the tabe with me and took a sip of her drink. She cleared her throat and looked at me, I ignored her as i tried to get my work done. “you look nice today”
I sighed and looked down at the the sleep clothes I had yet to change out of, it was one of Eleazar's black long sleeves and basketball shorts. “What do you want?”
Bella looked shocked. “What? I can't compliment my sister?” As Bella failed to be suck up I shut my folder, she was always overly nice when she wanted something.
“what is it Bella?” I asked, Bella threw her head back and sighed. “my truck won't start”
I rolled my eyes and rubbed my face. I got up to get my coffee cup in the sink. “get Dad's tools and I'll see what I can do”
Bella immediately jumped out of her seat. “t-thanks!”
When Bella met me outside she carried a bucket of water and Dad's red metal tool box. “I'm just gonna walsh it while you d-do whatever... I'll stay out of the way”
I rolled my eyes and lifted the hood, as I did another pickup truck pulled up. I smiled as Seth and Harry hopped out.
“Hey, y/n” Seth smiled and immediately hugged me.
“hey kid” I said turning back to the truck I promised I'd try and fix. “What ya doing?” he asked.
“trying to see why Bella's truck won't start” Harry came up to us to examine the damage. “you might need a new battery in it”
“yeah... There's one in the garage” I mumbled as tightened a couple of rattling Bolts. Charlie came out to great his friend as Seth left to retrieve the battery.
“ready for the big game?” Charlie smiled. Harry held up a six-pack with a smile. I totally forgot dad invited Harry and Billy over today. The two men walked back inside, as they entered the house Duke exited and greeted Seth who just got back with the battery.
“you might have to change the oil too” Seth said sticking his had under the hood with me. As we examined it the whole truck shook. Seth immediately jerked back as the hood was quick shoved back up before it could come down on us.
“I think I just died for a second... That was some Christine crap” Seth said tumbling backwards on his ass.
I looked up and saw Edward on top of the hood of the truck and Eleazar next to the hood that almost decapitated us.
Edward glared up at his nephew “¡imbécil! bajate de ahi(moron! Get down from there)”
“could you act human? We got Neighbors” Bella added. Edward jumped down and immediately apologized to me and Seth. “sorry guys”
“it's alright, just took me by surprise” I said then looked over a Seth who was still setting on the gravel. He let out a sigh then fell backwards. I rolled my eyes and waved him off. “he's fine”
Edward nodded then turned to Bella. Eleazar turned to me as I continued to fidle with the truck. “what's the problem?” he asked.
“it won't start... I just put a new battery in it though” I said. Eleazar moved to my sighed and figited with a few things. “get in the truck and try to turn it on”
I did and after a few tries we had running. I hopped out of the truck and smiled triumphantly. “thanks”
“your welcome” he smiled and leaned down to kiss me. We started to pull away as Billy and Jacob pulled up. Eleazar looked up slowly then leaned against the truck uncomfortable. I gave him a weird look. “what's up?”
“I'll explain later, I promise” he said nodding towrds the Black's. I looked over and watched Seth and Jacob help Billy in his wheel chair. Edward had already took off leaving Bella confused.
“your got a rivalry with them?” I whispered. Beofer he could awnser Jacob came up to me with a big smile.
“hey, Jake haven't seen you in a while” as he gave me a hug I could see Billy staring Eleazar down. I quickly cleared my throat and looked in between my family friends and my boyfriend.
Before I could try and make peace my dad came outside with Harry. “oh shit you haven't met my dad yet...” I mumbled.
“I know your dad, he's a friend of Carlisle” he whispered back as Dad and his buddies talked about fried fish.
“you haven't met him as my boyfriend though” I said threw my teeth. I hushed conversation was cut off when dad turned around to us with a questioning look. I cleared my throat and took Eleazar's hand.
“this isn't how I wanted you to meet him but, dad this is my boyfriend Eleazar”
Dad shook his hand. “your Carlisle brother-in-law, right?” Eleazar nodded. “nice to meet you”
“yep pleasure” Dad scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. “so your welcomed to join us, we're just watching the game”
Eleazar smiled politely. “thank you for the offer, but me and your daughter we're just gonna go out for a bit”
Even if I was confused I nodded along hoping to get us away from the tention that was building up.
“welp, have fun” dad sighed and led his friends in side, Duke followed along knowing Billy had food. Bella thanked the both of us for fixing the truck and went inside with her bucket of water.
I let out a sigh of relief and turned my back to Eleazar to shut the hood of the truck. As I did I felt a pair of cold hands on the exposed skin on my hip where my shirt got bunched up. I llet out a playfully yelp sprised at the sudden temperature. I quickly turned around saw Eleazar machivious grine.
“really?” I chuckled. Eleazar smiled and backed me up against the truck. I felt his hands fell to the back of my thighs and effortlessly lift me up on the hood. I leaned down to kiss him as my arms wrapped around his neck pulling his body closer to me.
“so.. I need your help” he said, training kisses from my colerboan up to my neck. “oh really” I sighed, lacing my fingers through his dark hair. It started get harder and harder to concentrate as he started to nibble and leave kisses on the more sensitive spots on my neck.
“si, we're suppose to bring you and Bella over tomorrow and Alice and Esme got the idea to cook” he mumbled in between kisses.
I let out sigh. “Eli... My dad could see us” I let out a small whimper as he nipped at the sensitive spot just below my ear.
“what was that?” he chuckled and brushed his nose against my neck. I let out a groan and placed my hands on his shoulders and leaned back just enough where we could make eye contact.
“Alice put me in charge of getting food” he said rolling his eyes “could you please come to the store with me to get food? " he asked as I figited with his back cardigan.
“when was the last time you actually step foot in a grocery store?” I teased.
“see, that's why I needed help” he smiled softly. I nodded as I leaned up and connect our lips again. We then pulled apart when we heard something hit the truck. I looked up and saw Bella chucking pencils at her truck from her bedroom window.
I looked up. “please don't do that on my truck” she said from above us. I gave her a shit eating grine and pulled Eleazar back in for a kiss as I flipped her the bird.
We got intruped again by Eleazar's phone buzzing. He sighed and looked at the text from Alice.
'remember, your on schedule' - Alice
Eleazar rolled his eyes. “I just love having a niece that has visions about me every five minutes” he joked as he helped me off the truck.
I chuckled as we got into his car. About ten minutes into the car ride I got to thinking about why Billy and Harry we're acting the way they did towrds Eleazar. “so what happened back there? Why did billy act like he was about to ram you with his wheelchair”
Eleazar sighed. “there's a treaty between us and their tribe... Basically we keep each other's secrets and we don't go onto each other's lands.”
“I'm guessing they don't trust you guys” I said softly. “correct” he said simply.
“you don't seem to have a problem with leah and Seth, they're from the Rez” I said.
“Leah is your best friend and I have no place to complain about it... The Black's and Uleys have had problems with us for centuries and I'm not one to hold it against the ones who have no idea about it”
“Leah and Seth haven't even phased... They just think the leadgens are just stories” I said. “frankly, I could care less about the treaty... I just follow it for the family's sake” he said as I nodded.
We got the grocery store and got the supplies that we needed, Alice wanted us to get ingredients for an Italian dinner. We got out of there faster than I expected and we took the groceries to his house, Bella had no idea what we were planning.

I’m going to vent for a minute. It always irks me a little when japanese lessons take so long to cover stuff like
The verb form te-iru, te-imasu, which seems to be similar to english -ing on verbs. Its how to actually say “I’m doing X verb.” However I remember when learning from Genki (and honestly a lot of japanese lesson resources), they teach verb forms like “I X verb” masu form. “I eat” taberu/tabemasu as in I eat fish (generally), not as in “I am eating fish (now/whatever time was described)” tabeteimasu (tabe+te-imasu). This creates a confusion a number of people end up having for a while... the confusion of thinking masu form (like tabemasu) means ‘verb-ing’ as in I’m doing a verb in a specific place/time, rather than I generally do verb (and may be doing it right now). Saying “I eat fish” can mean I eat fish right now, I generally eat fish, I’d prefer to eat fish (over some other option) etc. It does not specifically convey the “I’m doing X” even though that form of the verb is probably what we’ll use a lot. When watching shows, playing games, talking, I run into te-imasu form a LOT and it still surprises me it takes so long to learn. It also still surprises me that the beginner japanese class I took covered ‘te’ form in theory (since its in Genki 1) but we learned it to stack verbs (say I X then Y verb) and my teacher did not really emphasize the te-imasu form even though it’s everywhere in real life.
The form of -nde? in questions. I don’t have japanese keyboard on this computer so bear with me. I am rusty on japanese as I read it again recently but haven’t thought about the WHY of any grammar in a while. When I’m in clozemaster I see this verb situation all the time, and it seems sort of like asking a negative in english but when you mean do they want to do it positively. Shimasen-deshita. “Didn’t?” or しませんか? Shimasenka “don’t” This is not the example I meant but in google translate this is all I can think of. Its like when you ask “Didn’t you?” and someone replies “I did.” So you expect a positive answer. (Feel free to blank all this out, this second paragraph’s topic i am SO rusty on I honestly cannot remember clearly or correctly what the n’de form means in a question, all I can remember is I see it ALL the time when I read or watch stuff in japanese and yet... again... I remember my class never even covered it, especially given how common it gets run into).
Back to things I can adequately describe ToT (thanks for bearing with me lol). I remember last year I went through Clozemaster Japanese and just did like 600 sentence cards of the top 100 most common words. That period of study was probably the most helpful thing I did japanese grammar wise, because so many of the sentences were random grammar rather than perfectly crafted textbook sentences. The Clozemaster sentences prepared me much better for reading manga, watching shows, watching lets plays, and just generally figuring out how the fuck to parse the grammar meaning of new sentences I see. I ran into SO many ‘helper’ words (words that give some kind of grammar/meaning change to a sentence) and so much grammar I’d either never seen or never seen in informal forms, it helped tremendously. I had not seen te-imasu or gotten to practice it until then. And there’s still helper words I don’t know fully, but I recognize enough from that study period that now when I see them in sentences I get the gist of how they influence the sentence’s meaning. So I guess my point is just, I am a bit frustrated with how many japanese lessons (especially in the beginning) tend to avoid teaching some very common grammar things that appear super frequently whenever you engage with native materials. I’ve been going through glossika japanese lately for listening practice and lol... wouldn’t you know, just like Genki its covering some stuff but then other stuff like te-imasu I haven’t heard once yet, even though I run into it so frequently with japanese media.
Anyway... I’m currently looking for a new japanese grammar guide to read through. And I am seriously doubting I’m going to find any that cover some of the grammar points I’m most curious about for a while (or at all if they’re free guides and potentially stop after beginner grammar). :/ I wonder if imabi.net or Tae Kim’s Guide go over the kind of grammar I’m looking for eventually... (Because truly, I learned like 50% of the grammar I recognize now by brute force studying those 600 sentences in clozemaster and figuring out the gist of grammar meaning from the translation, but I’d love a more clear overt explanation ToT)

Hi hi! Are requests for Matchups open? I hope so, or this is going to be amazingly *•°embarrassing°•*
Anyways! Could I get a matchup please (if they're open-- we just went over this)
~IGNORE THIS IF THEY'RE CLOSED LOL~
I'm a bisexual, nonbinary, punk with a talent for being just so annoying all the time (😏), and a vast collection of pop tabes, safety pins and other little metal knickknacks.
I'm 5'5, with red hair, and I have a really choppy, grown out mullet that I did myself (it's technically a mohawk, but 98% of the time I'm way to lazy to style it). I'm a bit chubby, and I've been told by a lot of people that I look pretty androgynous.
I've got a lot of anxiety problemes, as well as some other issues I haven't been able to put a name too yet. I'm terrified of embarrassing myself (especially in front of strangers), and in some situations --usualy with public speaking-- that fear will get so overwhelming that I won't be able to speak or really think properly. This also usually ends with tears. It's an issue I'm always working on, and I've improved a ton over the years, but it's still difficult. I really value people that understand and can empathize with me.
I'm an artist! I draw and write mostly, but I also like to sing (usually badly, but hey, it's fun) and I'm teaching myself how to play the drums. I really like music, but my taste is a bit all over the place; from indie "ukelele and depressing lyrics" stuff to punk rock and metal, I've got a bit of everything on my playlist. Folk punk/punk rock has to be my favorite though! I also really love horror movies (of course) and video games.
I think that's all? I'm usually so bad at describing myself, so I hope this is okay! (I also hope that Matchups are actually open, for the third time)
Have a great day/night and remember to drink water and eat. Some Berries. You're writing is really fun, and I can't wait to see what you have in store for the future :)

Top 20 BEST Animated Series of the 2010s-15th Place
The fifteenth place is a tie, primarily because both of these shows are equally good, in my opinion. Some of you might disagree with me, but to that I say-
ALL ABOARD THE HATE TRAIN!
CHOO CHOO!
#15-We Bare Bears (2015-2020)/Big City Greens (2018-)
The Plot(s): Both shows involve an unorthodox family trying to fit in with what’s considered normal. In We Bare Bears, it’s three brother bears (Grizz, Panda, and Ice Bear) trying to fit in with modern society. And in Big City Greens, it’s a family of farmers (Cricket, Tilly, Bill, and Gramma) trying to adjust to city life after the family farm got sold due to low profits. In both shows, these characters make new friends, go on wacky adventures, and learn that they’ll always be okay as long as they’re together.
Aside from that brief description, I can sum up these shows in two words: Charmingly simplistic. There’s no intense continuity, no ongoing story arcs, or even an evilly evil villain hoping to take over the world...for the most part. These are just two different shows, with two types of families trying to get by in life. And honestly, it’s those families that make these shows work.
The dynamic between the bears in We Bare Bears is what makes the show so charming to watch. These three actually act like brothers (from what I’ve been told. I, unfortunately, don’t have brothers), and seeing their brotherly bond does nothing less than putting a smile on my face. Plus, the loyalty they have for each other is downright heartwarming, especially when the series flashes back to when they were kids.
And while I can’t entirely say that the Green family has the same amount of charm to them, there is one thing that I love. And that’s the fact that (kinda spoiler warning) they are an almost complete family in a Disney cartoon, with both parents being a prominent role in the series. Yes, Bill and Nancy are divorced, but that doesn’t mean Nancy isn’t around for her kids. She shows up frequently after her introduction and even gives off an impression that she’s a semi-good mom. In fact, Bill and Nancy seem to still have a level of respect for each other despite missing their old spark. It’s almost as if the writers are trying to say that not all divorces mean the destruction of a family, which I can respect. Because it can teach kids to not be afraid of the “D” word (kinda spoilers over).
But it’s not just the main characters that shine in these shows. The members of the supporting cast in We Bare Bears have a level of likability and depth. Chloe is often outgoing and laid back when she’s with the bears, who fails to make any other connections due to being a child prodigy. Ranger Tabes is often audacious and enjoyably energetic while also taking pride in her work and feels hurt when she thinks she’s not taken seriously. Then there are Charlie and Nom Nom, who have a level of charm to them. Despite being intended to come off as annoying and unlikable. Even the background characters are impressive due to the diversity of cultures and races that a viewer can see in each episode.
As for Big City Greens, the characters do not really have any depth outside of the main cast. What you see is pretty much what you get with most of these characters, aside from maybe Gloria, but even then, it’s only on occasion. Big City Greens also dodges showing diversity by having everyone be a shade of bright pastel colors. But I give credit to the show for having the first gay couple in a Disney cartoon...even though they get dropped by season two and are never fully confirmed as gay. Which pales in comparison to Luz and Amity from The Owl House, but it was at least a start! Sometimes, you gotta take baby steps before taking leaps ahead of the game. And don’t get me wrong, while I still prefer characters who have depth, that doesn’t mean I hate the characters in Big City Greens. Everyone does their job of adding to the story and making audiences laugh. In fact, making audiences laugh is what I would say Big City Greens does better than We Bare Bears.
Now in fairness. We Bare Bears is pretty funny from time to time. However, when it comes to which series makes me laugh the most, I have to pick Big City Greens. The first few episodes alone had me laughing much more than most of We Bare Bears' first season. It also helps that the show has a very random sense of humor elevated by the show’s energy. But I'll give it to you that comedy is subjective, and there are a couple of jokes that don’t work in Big City Greens. The best example is when the show lingers too long on a joke that didn’t really work as much as the writers thought it did. But that does not change the fact that Big City Greens is still a pretty funny show.
However, while We Bare Bears lacks comedy, it more than enough makes up for it with charm. This show is downright delightful to watch in almost every episode. Rarely do I feel anger when watching this series (which I wish I could say about previous/future entrees), and it has everything to do with the cast. I wasn’t kidding when I said that even intentionally annoying characters have a level of charm and likeability to them. In fact, the only bad episodes are when they begin to act uncharacteristically cruel and selfish. Mostly because those words could not be farther from a definition of We Bare Bears.
However, if I had to pick out the major fault that We Bare Bears have, it’s the fact that the show plays things a little too safe. For instance, whenever the show tries to go dark, it is pretty tame compared to other shows. The best example is how nearly every dangerous predator in this series somehow looks adorable. Wolfs, snakes, and even cougars (the big cats, not the middle-aged women) are somehow drawn to be cute and cuddly. I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t want a show to make kids think that dangerous woodland creatures like these are something you could just give a belly rub. I understand that this is a kids' show, but Big City Greens not only has the same rating, but it’s on the Disney Channel. And yet, it feels like that show has bigger cajones than the series formerly on the same network as Regular Show. That is not a good thing.
Going back to Big City Greens, I can sum up every problem I have with this show with one character: Cricket Green. Now I don’t entirely hate Cricket...but I’m willing to bet other people will. I can tell that the show is trying to make him a lovable little rascal that’s sort of a mix of Bart Simpson and Timmy Turner. But in the end, I think he causes more damage than either of those characters have in their entire lives. Cricket claims how sorry he is at the end of every episode, but I doubt he learns his lesson. We Bare Bears has a similar problem with Panda, but even when Panda is at his most selfish, he doesn’t do anything harmful to anyone but himself (except in the episode “Braces," but we don’t need to talk about that). Plus, even when he does go a tad too far, Panda’s voice actor (Bobby Moynihan) does a great job at making Panda seem sincere when he’s apologizing for his actions. Not to mention that Bobby gives a sense of realism and relatability with most of Panda’s lines. Then there is Cricket’s voice actor, Chris Houghton, an adult man trying to voice a child. I understand the logic behind using an adult over a kid (this happens more times than you think), but I feel like I would get the impression that Cricket is an innocent kid who doesn’t know better if he actually sounded like a kid.
In the end, neither of these shows are really that impressive compared to others. Thankfully with good comedy, charm, and great characters, they still manage to be really good for all ages. So while We Bare Bears and Big City Greens may not be as big as any other show in the last decade, they’re still good enough that you might just bear it!
(Two for one! I told you I would make up the embarrassment that was Dan Vs.!)

Bread’s Game Journal 06/02/20: Wrath In The Frozen North: A Northrend Retrospective, Part 4: Grizzly Hills
Tumblr media
This is what I’ve been waiting for in this series of posts, this zone right here, the single best zone in the entire World of Warcraft, and hands down my absolute favorite memory of playing Wrath of the Lich King as a kid.  Grizzly Hills is.....perfection, it’s everything I love about World of Warcraft condensed into one zone.  Incredible visual design, an unmatched sense of place, fun quests, engaging story lines and a killer soundtrack.  I want to preface this with the fact that I have never had a bad time with any era of World of Warcraft, but: Grizzly Hills is where this game peaked and I refuse to budge in that belief no matter what comes my way.
Grizzly Hills lies on the east coast of Northrend, sandwiched in-between the Ice Troll Kingdom of Gun-Drak and Howling Fjord.  Essentially, the entire zone is one large redwood forest, and even among some of the other less “frigid north” zones, it stands out as a place that feels almost completely unaffected by where it’s actually located in the world.  It’s all old growth forest, there’s some settlements to be found here yes, but it often feels like those are new, all log cabins and hastily constructed fortresses.  It feels like civilization is simply not meant to be a thing in Grizzly Hills.  We can see the failed remains of a world tree dead in the center of the zone, now inhabited by the Furbolg, but still quite clearly a failed attempt to tame this place.  The only real human settlements in the area turn out to be little more than a front for cursed Worgen, even the Hordes huge, iron clad fortress feels like it could be driven out by nature if they ever let their guard down.
Tumblr media
Aside from the small handful of settlements, watch towers like these are some of the only signs of civilization you’ll find anywhere in Grizzly Hills.
I have an immense amount of wonderful memories associated with Grizzly Hills.  When I first got to this zone I couldn’t believe the majesty of what I was seeing.  Even back in the day when I played World of Warcraft on my terrible intel media laptop with integrated graphics and a very slow processor, it blew my mind to see a zone so well designed visually as this one.  It’s not just the visual design either, if you’ve never heard the Grizzly Hills background music than you must be the kind of fool I was back in the day.  One who turned off the music in WoW to make way for looping Youtube videos of Pink Floyd songs (it’s....a whole story).  I also remember being so fascinated with the quest lines, because it tied in and continued a storyline that, at the time, nobody ever thought would come back: Archmage Arugal.
Remember Arugal?  He was the big bad of Vanilla WoW’s best dungeon, Shadowfang Keep, and there was a bizarrely large amount of backstory as to his responsibility of the presence of Worgen in World of Warcraft.  Well evidently someone at Blizzard loved him as much as I did, and brought him and his cursed Werewolf people back into the fold for a brand new chapter.  You slowly begin to understand as you pursue the main quest in Grizzly Hills that Arugal has been here for a lot longer than you’d think, and has gone about placing his Worgen all over the place in order to try his hand at taming this savage place.  Of course it doesn’t work, if you’re asking.  Thanks in no part to you and whichever other people in the zone were willing to help bring him down at the top of his tower off the coast.  I remember it feeling suitably epic, like something of a mini Shadowfang Keep.  On a much smaller scale of course, but no less fun to assault with a group of like minded players.
Tumblr media
It’s no Shadowfang keep, but it’s pretty clear that Arugal has a type when it comes to his evil lairs.
While Arugal and his worgen made up most of the zones story, he wasn’t the only game in town.  Players would get something of a lead in story-line to the upcoming Zul-Drak plot with the character Drakuru.  What starts as a fairly simple battle against the scourge and exploration of some of the last remaining trolls left in this zone, quickly becomes a tale of intrigue, and an examination of exactly who is and isn’t loyal to the Lich King, and what that really means.  I always found it really fascinating that, even after Drakuru reveals his true colors as an agent of the Scourge, he doesn’t assume that makes you and him enemies.  It’s the first bit of humanity we see from anyone at all connected to The Lich King, and frankly, it’s not something we’d ever really see again.  The dungeon this zone houses, where the first arc of the Drakuru story-line culminates, “Drak’Theron Keep” is one of the best in WotLK by a mile.  It’s a shame the Ice Troll storyline wound up taking so many cuts in the final version of Wrath, because we never really do get a satisfying conclusion, but more on that tomorrow.
Grizzly Hills is, and always will be, my all time favorite zone in World of Warcraft.  Whenever talk up a “Return to Northrend” expansion pack concept I always get more than a little excited, just because I know that would also mean a return to Grizzly Hills.  If you’re leveling through Northrend, and you don’t quite know which zone to go to, the clear answer we should all keep in mind is, and will always be, Grizzly Hills.
Bread’s Coveted “Best Town” Award: Camp Oneqwah
Tumblr media
Camp Onequah is not the most elaborate settlement in Grizzly Hills, but it feels the most realistic.  Instead of trying to dominate or exploit the environment, the Tuanka in this camp feel like they’ve simply carved out a little space for themselves among the trees.
Random Screenshot Of The Day:
Tumblr media
Note to Night Elf Self: Stop trying to plant new World Trees, does not work as you intend.
Stray Notes:
- None!  Shockingly!  I actually managed to get everything I wanted to say out in this post!
- Okay I guess I should explain the Pink Floyd thing, I like Pink Floyd but I really liked Pink Floyd around 2008, so I would after alt tab out of WoW to play there music on Youtube, because I was an idiot who decided alt-tabing out of a game every 4 minutes was better than just buying an album on iTunes.  What did we ever do before Spotify?!

I do love you Pt 11
So I want to tell y’all that starting this chapter there is going to be time skips here and there. I will make sure to clarify when they are! If anyone has questions, feel free to ask me! I know it’s a little short but I put an extra instagram post or two!
______________________________________________
Today was the court hearing. Auston and I’s attorney was fantastic. Ema and Brian came with us to the court house. We were walking in the door when we saw Petra at the top of the staircase. I stopped dead in my tracks not moving. Ema laid a hand on my arm walking slightly in front of me.
“Hello, Hazy” Petra said venom lacing her voice.
“She’s not talking to you” Ema said standing in front of me pulling me towards the courtroom.  Auston, our attorney and I were sitting behind the tabe. Ema, Brian and a few of Auston’s teammates were sitting behind us. Soon enough Kappy, his attorney and his mom walked in sitting at the other table.
We had made both of our cases and we were dismissed as the judge made his decision. I was pacing the halls of the waiting area as Kappy and his mom walked up. Petra walked in front of me blocking my way.
“What makes you think you’ll win?” she asked rudely.
“We’re not doing this?” Brian said standing up from his seat. Putting himself between Petra and me.
“I’m a good mother, I take care of Parker. What makes you think that taking him away from his mom, who by the way feeds him is the better option?” I argued from behind Brian. Auston stood up putting a hand on the small of back.
“A young boy will need his father” She said rolling her eyes at me. I felt Auston tense up and I knew that comment affected him.
“He has a father! Auston is his dad! Auston has been here since the beginning of my pregnancy. Unlike your son who got me pregnant and just decided he didn’t want to be a dad. But all of a sudden Parker is born and he ‘deserves’ to be in his life” I ranted as Auston wrapped his arms around me. Petra was about to make another comment when our attorneys walked out telling us that the judge had made his decision.
We stood in front of the judge as he flipped through his papers making me more anxious with each turn.
“Okay, I have made a decision. I want to remind all parties that I made the decision that I thought was in the best interest of the child. Custody of Parker Mitchell Matthews will be given to Hazy and Auston 100 percent.” As soon as those words left the judges mouth I felt tears start rolling down my cheeks. Auston pulled me into a hug as I heard our family clapping behind us.
“Let’s go see our baby” Auston muttered as he kissed me.
We walked into the apartment excited to hold Parker in our arms. I opened the door and saw Parker laying on Jake’s chest. We had asked Jake to watch Parker while we were in court, since he’s had a baby himself.
“So what’s the verdict?” Jake asked lifting Parker off of his chest and walking towards us. I smiled taking Parker into my arms feeling a few tears fall.
“He’s 100% ours” Auston said running a hand lightly along Parkers head.
“I’m so proud of you two, when you first said you were pregnant I was scared for you because of how young you both are but you have proven to everyone that you are amazing parents” Jake said grabbing his jacket and walking out as Ema and Brian walked into the apartment carrying take out. Ema smiled at me and Auston taking the food out of the bags.
“How about a night in?”
TIME SKIP!!
It was October 3rd and it was not only the first game for the Leafs, it was also the home opener. I was sitting on the couch feeding Parker when Auston walked out into the living room in his suit.
“Look at how handsome daddy is, P” I smiled. Auston walked over and planted a soft kiss on my lips.
“I love you, Hazy”
“I love you too, Aus” I smiled as he walked towards the door.
“We’ll see you at the game” I said starting to burp Parker.
We had made it to the game and Christina, her boys, Steph and I were about to go down to the glass to watch warm ups. I put Parkers small headphones and made sure his tiny Matthews jersey looked good. We all walked down to the glass as the guys skated out. All of the guys skated by and tapped the glass in front of us. Soon enough Auston and Mitch were standing in front of us lightly tapping on the glass getting Parkers attention.

Auston_Matthews: I wasn’t just smiling at the Marleau boys, I was smiling at my Matthews boy 💙 Hockey is back!
I had made it home before Auston and gave Parker a bath. I was rubbing lotion on Parker when Auston walked into the nursery.
“Hello my beautiful wife”
“I’m not your wife yet, babe”
“Almost”
“We haven’t even started planning yet, Aus”
“Then let’s start” he sat down in the chair across from me. “So tell me about your dream wedding” he leaned back and loosened his tie.
“Well, I didn’t think I would have a baby but now, I want Parker in it. I want it to be outdoors maybe a field. Sunflowers with white and red roses. I want a flowy dress, but not too puffy. I want it to be warm out but not where we’re sweating. I want my best friends here, and I want white cake with chocolate filling. But lastly I want you to be there in a black suit ready to take that step with me. I smiled holding Parker close to my chest.
“Sounds beautiful, baby let’s pick a date” he said looking at me with a huge grin. I pulled out my phone looking at our calendar.
“What about September? It’ll still be warm enough for a wedding but not too hot” I offered.
“Before or after our birthdays?” he laughed.
“Well yours is the 17th mine is the 29th so we could do before or in between”
“It is completely up to you, babygirl”
“What about September 1st?” I asked.
“I can’t wait”

Movies 2019
List of films I watched in 2019 from best to worst.
Updated soon after I’ve seen them.
A Ghost Story [David Lowery, 2017, United States] No film has made me feel this melancholic ever. This is a film so profound, it examines existence in the simplest yet most esoteric way possible. It surely goes straight to the top of my all-time favourite list. 10/10
Portrait of a Lady on Fire [Celine Sciamma, 2019, France] a film of magnificent visuals, intoxicating sound design, and a screenplay of jawdropping surprises -- definitely on top of my 2019 movie list. 10/10
The Heiresses [Marcelo Martinessi, 2019, Paraguay] compellingly melancholic in its silence and uncertainty. It's a blossoming, a self-discovery, a thorny journey towards maturity. 10/10
Parasite [Bong Joon-ho, 2019, South Korea] You can watch it in many different ways, perspective, and angle, and everything is just as clever. 10/10
Kanarie [Christiaan Olwagen, 2018, South Africa] Has one of the most poignant and critically-observed approach to self-awareness and acceptance. 10/10
Shéhérazade [Jean-Bernard Marlin, 2018, France] a gritty narrative of an unusual young love with such depressing yet charming emotional pull. 10/10
Capernaum [Nadine Labaki, 2018, Lebanon] it’s not just about a boy in an unjust world, it is more about an implausibly unjust world where everyone is a victim and no one is an actual villain. 10/10
John Denver Trending [Arden Rod Condez, 2019, Philippines] Aside from its central theme of mental health awareness, it also has an excellent juxtaposition of the culture of bullying and cyberbullying and its correlation with how the nature of superstitions and religions shapes a country’s humanity. 10/10
The Third Wife [Ash Mayfair, 2019, Vietnam] possibly has one of the best visual stories this year with a contrast of hauntingly sensual tension and dreamlike composition, it’s strangely beautiful. 10/10
Atlantique [Mati Diop, 2019, Senegal] Such a bewitching tale of love, lost, and longing. A film told with such raw elegance, it’s enchanting. 10/10
Metamorphosis [JE Tiglao, 2019, Philippines] Not your ordinary coming-of-age movie. This one comes with such importance and inclusivity, everyone needs to see. 10/10
The Favourite [Yorgos Lanthimos, 2019, Greece, Ireland, United Kingdom, United States] a dark period comedy oddly fused with sophisticated costume and production design for a strange yet striking visual treat. 10/10
Edward [Thop Nazareno, 2019, Philippines] I am so amazed at how this film shows struggles after struggles after struggles without spoonfeeding emotions. It’s a movie so simple yet so despairing. Everything of it is in the right place, it’s sublime. 10/10
I Lost My Body [Jeremy Clapin, 2019, France] gives an absolute strange reason to cry, it's extraordinarily cathartic. 10/10
Marriage Story [Noah Baumbach, 2019, United States] My favourite performance of the year belong to these two leads whose portrayal of lovers going through divorce is rock solid heartbreaking. 10/10
Ulan [Irene Villamor, 2019, Philippines] Is a fuck you to societal norms, so profound, it is a love story that involves only one. 10/10
Avengers: Endgame [Russo brothers, 2019, United States] Raises the bar so high, is probably the most entertaining superhero movie to date. 10/10

Spil Med Dine Venner
I League of Legends, meta kan ændre hver patch opdatering.
Vide, Hvornår at Tage Mål

Cameroon, Morocco, Zambia join the 3rd round of U20 FIFA Women's World Cup Qualifiers
Saturday marked the end of the second round of qualifying for the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2022. No real surprises were noted during this day with the easy wins of Cameroon, Tanzania, and Botswana among others.
Tanzania 2-0 Eritrea
The Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam hosted the victory of the host team on Saturday afternoon. Tanzania beat Eritrea 2-0 with goals from Irene Elias Kisisa (55 ’) and Protasia Mbunda (84’).
The Tanzanians, who also won the first leg 3-0, prevailed by an aggregate 5-0 and will face Ethiopia in the next round.
Morocco 2-2 Benin
In Rabat, the Young Lionesses trembled until the end but still managed to qualify to the detriment of Benin.
The Moroccans opened the scoring with Anfal El Yamani in the 38th minute. The visitors' equalizer came from Milhad Sadikou from a penalty kick in the 70th minute. Sara Mssalfyam returned the advantage to Morocco (82 ’) before Milhad completed her brace to tie the two teams together.
The draw benefits Morocco, who won the first leg 2-1.
Cameroon 5-0 DR Congo
The Congolese have shown no resistance against the young Indomitable Lionesses at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaoundé. After losing the first leg 4-0 in Kinshasa, DR Congo knew that the second leg would be a mountain to climb.
Without surprise, Cameroon took control of the match and broke the deadlock by Fatima Kome shortly before the half hour mark. Jennifer Aboudi doubled the lead for the local players after 43 minutes.
Brenda Tabe also scored a brace (50 ’, 53’) before Felicia Enganaben (79 ’) completed the offensive green-red-yellow festival.
Winner on a 9-0 aggregate, Cameroon will face Nigeria in the next round.
Botswana 4-0 Angola
At Obed Itani Chilume Stadium in Francistown, the Botswanan girls did more and above to secure their qualification and come out on top with an aggregate 8-1 win over Angola.
Malawi 1-2 Zambia
Rose Smith Kadzere (3 ’) opens the scoring for the home side. The equalizer came four minutes later by Eneless Phiri. The 2-1 goal was scored after 39 minutes by Lungowe Namasiku.
In the first leg, Zambia had atomized Malawi 6-0.
Congo 3-1 Egypt
Aicha Noblesse Yamouna's brace (30 ’, 52’) and Doris Senga's goal (32 ’) gave Congo an important victory. Egypt’s Dana Karim’s score reduction was insufficient to worry the young Red Devils who will face Zambia next December.
Burkina Faso 0-1 Gambia
The Gambia needed the penalty shots to get rid of Burkina Faso despite a 1-0 victory in Cotonou where the Burkinabè were playing their home game. After a perfect tie over both legs, the two teams had to be separated in the fateful session. And in this game, it was the visitors who came out victorious (4-3).
Sierra Leone 0-1 Guinea
Guinea also clinched their qualification after the penalty shootout. Perfectly tied, the two teams faced each other in a shoot-out session won by Guinea (4-2).

I love your blog, so much ! Your blog is possible one of personal favorite ones, if not the first one that i like the most ! 💘 You seem like a really nice person too ! Also, a question before request, could/can we draw some of your scenarios ? 💘 Request : Headcanons for Shie Hassaikai ( the entire if you could do it
First of all, thank you so much for the support! It means a lot to me that you enjoy the blog and it motivates me to keep writing for everyone as well as myself 💖Second of all, as an artist I would absolutely love for yall to draw out this stuff (so I dont have to lol) I'm so interested to see what it would look like, and im happy to have provided a theme or base for the art!Third of all, we talking just random headcanons of the Hassaikai??? Because that's definitely something I can go for!!!
~Random Hassaikai Headcanons~
Tumblr media
headcanon|scenario|imagine|match-up
-Overhaul: Has a huge tie collection but only wears like 2 or 3 of them max. He wants to keep them preserved and safe (fresh from the real world). He also collects other things like face masks but keeps them in his bedroom drawer just to look at. He can drive, but is shitty at parking. Kai also listens to music when he works but it's usually the same 10 songs.
-Mimic: Is a God at bowling and Card games. He's competing with Hojo constantly. Mimic can count cards and was kicked out of multiple casinos for doing so. Once said that if he were to become a dad, he would prefer to have a daughter instead of a son.
-Chronostasis: Takes tremendous care in his appearance. He's hot and he KNOWS he's hot. Owns one white hoodie that he wears way too much. Uses a single cologne scent since he was younger. It's now his signature smell
-Deidoro: When he's sober, he's actually a pretty chill guy. He's pretty good at fishing and enjoys a good bonfire every once in a while. Knows over 1400 country songs.
-Nemouto: Picked up neatfreak tendencies from Kai, and now it affects his everyday life. He cannot sleep (nor nap) until his entire apartment is spotless from top to bottom. No clean? No sleep. He also has a few fish in a fish tank that he named.
-Setsuno: Has big insecurity issues he never speaks on. He actually thinks his forehead is too big, so he tries to cover most of it on one side with his hair. It stems from a backhanded comment his ex gave him one time. Also, he's skinny because his metabolism is fast af. He can eat more than anyone in the Hassaikai (except Tabe), and not gain a pound.
-Hojo: Really loves kids more than he let's on. (We're not talking my Kaishi Au so...) He hates what the boss is doing to Eri, but has to carry through because Kai basically saved him. Has a crush on the cashier at the shop near the base. Literally makes up reason to go an see the cashier. He's thought about becoming a teacher before he turned to crime
-Tabe: Secret pleasure is watching those Mukbang videos on youtube, or the eating ASMR. He eats a lot, but has a sensitive tummy when it comes to certain foods like mint chocolate chip. It makes him get the bubble guts every time. He also has one stuffed animal he keeps that his mother gave to him when he was younger. He often misses being with family
-Rappa: Has multiple gym memberships but never shows up. He claims the instructors are too weak/slow for him. He still uses the memberships to go use the massage chair every once in a while. He's also a hopeless romantic despite his brutish ways. He wants to experience that one true love...a love worth fighting to keep forever
-Tengai: Dyed his hair in middle school once. Was also a member of the debate team and the volleyball team. He left debate for obvious reasons! He was actual very active in school. Then he left to take up being a monk before Overhaul showed up.
-Katsukame: Sports buff. Knows way too many random facts about random sports teams. I mean soccer. Football, hockey, lacrosse, you name it! He knows it. He probably thinks about having those little super bowl parties with the others every once in a while but decides against it last minute. Also, had a kitten once but it got hit by a car. Ever since then, he has never wanted another pet
-Pops: Used to be pretty wild back in the day! Reckless, sassy, and damn sure handsome. He actually straightened out once he joined the yakuza. He still looks back on those days and says he doesn't regret a single thing...not even the time he helped set the old record shop on fire...or the time he spray painted the side of the school.
