Here's the top 2 stories from each of Fix The News's six categories:
1. A game-changing HIV drug was the biggest story of 2024
In what Science called the 'breakthrough of the year', researchers revealed in June that a twice-yearly drug called lenacapavir reduced HIV infections in a trial in Africa to zero—an astonishing 100% efficacy, and the closest thing to a vaccine in four decades of research. Things moved quick; by October, the maker of the drug, Gilead, had agreed to produce an affordable version for 120 resource-limited countries, and by December trials were underway for a version that could prevent infection with just a single shot per year. 'I got cold shivers. After all our years of sadness, particularly over vaccines, this truly is surreal.'
2. Another incredible year for disease elimination
Jordan became the first country to eliminate leprosy, Chad eliminated sleeping sickness, Guinea eliminated maternal and neonatal tetanus, Belize, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent & the Grenadines eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV and syphilis, India achieved the WHO target for eliminating black fever, India, Viet Nam and Pakistan eliminated trachoma, the world’s leading infectious cause of blindness, and Brazil and Timor Leste eliminated elephantiasis.
15. The EU passed a landmark nature restoration law
When countries pass environmental legislation, it’s big news; when an entire continent mandates the protection of nature, it signals a profound shift. Under the new law, which passed on a knife-edge vote in June 2024, all 27 member states are legally required to restore at least 20% of land and sea by 2030, and degraded ecosystems by 2050. This is one of the world’s most ambitious pieces of legislation and it didn’t come easy; but the payoff will be huge - from tackling biodiversity loss and climate change to enhancing food security.
16. Deforestation in the Amazon halved in two years
Brazil’s space agency, INPE, confirmed a second consecutive year of declining deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. That means deforestation rates have roughly halved under Lula, and are now approaching all time lows. In Colombia, deforestation dropped by 36%, hitting a 23-year low. Bolivia created four new protected areas, a huge new new state park was created in Pará to protect some of the oldest and tallest tree species in the tropical Americas and a new study revealed that more of the Amazon is protected than we originally thought, with 62.4% of the rainforest now under some form of conservation management.
39. Millions more children got an education
Staggering statistics incoming: between 2000 and 2023, the number of children and adolescents not attending school fell by nearly 40%, and Eastern and Southern Africa, achieved gender parity in primary education, with 25 million more girls are enrolled in primary school today than in the early 2000s. Since 2015, an additional 110 million children have entered school worldwide, and 40 million more young people are completing secondary school.
40. We fed around a quarter of the world's kids at school
Around 480 million students are now getting fed at school, up from 319 million before the pandemic, and 104 countries have joined a global coalition to promote school meals, School feeding policies are now in place in 48 countries in Africa, and this year Nigeria announced plans to expand school meals to 20 million children by 2025, Kenya committed to expanding its program from two million to ten million children by the end of the decade, and Indonesia pledged to provide lunches to all 78 million of its students, in what will be the world's largest free school meals program.
50. Solar installations shattered all records
Global solar installations look set to reach an unprecedented 660GW in 2024, up 50% from 2023's previous record. The pace of deployment has become almost unfathomable - in 2010, it took a month to install a gigawatt, by 2016, a week, and in 2024, just 12 hours. Solar has become not just the cheapest form of new electricity in history, but the fastest-growing energy technology ever deployed, and the International Energy Agency said that the pace of deployment is now ahead of the trajectory required for net zero by 2050.
51. Battery storage transformed the economics of renewables
Global battery storage capacity surged 76% in 2024, making investments in solar and wind energy much more attractive, and vice-versa. As with solar, the pace of change stunned even the most cynical observers. Price wars between the big Chinese manufacturers pushed battery costs to record lows, and global battery manufacturing capacity increased by 42%, setting the stage for future growth in both grid storage and electric vehicles - crucial for the clean flexibility required by a renewables-dominated electricity system. The world's first large-scale grid battery installation only went online seven years ago; by next year, global battery storage capacity will exceed that of pumped hydro.
65. Democracy proved remarkably resilient in a record year of elections
More than two billion people went to the polls this year, and democracy fared far better than most people expected, with solid voter turnout, limited election manipulation, and evidence of incumbent governments being tamed. It wasn't all good news, but Indonesia saw the world's biggest one day election, Indian voters rejected authoritarianism, South Korea's democratic institutions did the same, Bangladesh promised free and fair elections following a 'people's victory', Senegal, Sri Lanka and Botswana saw peaceful transfers of power to new leaders after decades of single party rule, and Syria saw the end of one of the world's most horrific authoritarian regimes.
66. Global leaders committed to ending violence against children
In early November, while the eyes of the world were on the US election, an event took place that may prove to be a far more consequential for humanity. Five countries pledged to end corporal punishment in all settings, two more pledged to end it in schools, and another 12, including Bangladesh and Nigeria, accepted recommendations earlier in the year to end corporal punishment of children in all settings. In total, in 2024 more than 100 countries made some kind of commitment to ending violence against children. Together, these countries are home to hundreds of millions of children, with the WHO calling the move a 'fundamental shift.'
73. Space exploration hit new milestones
NASA’s Europa Clipper began a 2.9 billion kilometre voyage to Jupiter to investigate a moon that may have conditions for life; astronomers identified an ice world with a possible atmosphere in the habitable zone; and the James Webb Telescope found the farthest known galaxy. Closer to Earth, China landed on the far side of the moon, the Polaris Dawn crew made a historic trip to orbit, and Starship moved closer to operational use – and maybe one day, to travel to Mars.
74. Next-generation materials advanced
A mind-boggling year for material science. Artificial intelligence helped identify a solid-state electrolyte that could slash lithium use in batteries by 70%, and an Apple supplier announced a battery material that can deliver around 100 times better energy density. Researchers created an insulating synthetic sapphire material 1.25 nanometers thick, plus the world’s thinnest lens, just three atoms across. The world’s first functioning graphene-based semiconductor was unveiled (the long-awaited ‘wonder material’ may finally be coming of age!) and a team at Berkeley invented a fluffy yellow powder that could be a game changer for removing carbon from the atmosphere.

The CFPB is genuinely making America better, and they're going HARD

On June 20, I'm keynoting the LOCUS AWARDS in OAKLAND.
Let's take a sec here and notice something genuinely great happening in the US government: the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau's stunning, unbroken streak of major, muscular victories over the forces of corporate corruption, with the backing of the Supreme Court (yes, that Supreme Court), and which is only speeding up!
A little background. The CFPB was created in 2010. It was Elizabeth Warren's brainchild, an institution that was supposed to regulate finance from the perspective of the American public, not the American finance sector. Rather than fighting to "stabilize" the financial sector (the mission that led to Obama taking his advisor Timothy Geithner's advice to permit the foreclosure crisis to continue in order to "foam the runways" for the banks), the Bureau would fight to defend us from bankers.
The CFPB got off to a rocky start, with challenges to the unique system of long-term leadership appointments meant to depoliticize the office, as well as the sudden resignation of its inaugural boss, who broke his promise to see his term through in order to launch an unsuccessful bid for political office.
But after the 2020 election, the Bureau came into its own, when Biden poached Rohit Chopra from the FTC and put him in charge. Chopra went on a tear, taking on landlords who violated the covid eviction moratorium:
https://pluralistic.net/2021/04/20/euthanize-rentier-enablers/#cfpb
Then banning payday lenders' scummiest tactics:
https://pluralistic.net/2022/01/29/planned-obsolescence/#academic-fraud
Then striking at one of fintech's most predatory grifts, the "earned wage access" hustle:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/05/01/usury/#tech-exceptionalism
Then closing the loophole that let credit reporting bureaus (like Equifax, who doxed every single American in a spectacular 2019 breach) avoid regulation by creating data brokerage divisions and claiming they weren't part of the regulated activity of credit reporting:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/08/16/the-second-best-time-is-now/#the-point-of-a-system-is-what-it-does
Chopra went on to promise to ban data-brokers altogether:
https://pluralistic.net/2024/04/13/goulash/#material-misstatement
Then he banned comparison shopping sites where you go to find the best bank accounts and credit cards from accepting bribes and putting more expensive options at the top of the list. Instead, he's requiring banks to send the CFPB regular, accurate lists of all their charges, and standing up a federal operated comparison shopping site that gives only accurate and honest rankings. Finally, he's made an interoperability rule requiring banks to let you transfer to another institution with one click, just like you change phone carriers. That means you can search an honest site to find the best deal on your banking, and then, with a single click, transfer your accounts, your account history, your payees, and all your other banking data to that new bank:
https://pluralistic.net/2023/10/21/let-my-dollars-go/#personal-financial-data-rights
Somewhere in there, big business got scared. They cooked up a legal theory declaring the CFPB's funding mechanism to be unconstitutional and got the case fast-tracked to the Supreme Court, in a bid to put Chopra and the CFPB permanently out of business. Instead, the Supremes – these Supremes! – upheld the CFPB's funding mechanism in a 7-2 ruling:
https://www.scotusblog.com/2024/05/supreme-court-lets-cfpb-funding-stand/
That ruling was a starter pistol for Chopra and the Bureau. Maybe it seemed like they were taking big swings before, but it turns out all that was just a warmup. Last week on The American Prospect, Robert Kuttner rounded up all the stuff the Bureau is kicking off:
https://prospect.org/blogs-and-newsletters/tap/2024-06-07-window-on-corporate-deceptions/
First: regulating Buy Now, Pay Later companies (think: Klarna) as credit-card companies, with all the requirements for disclosure and interest rate caps dictated by the Truth In Lending Act:
https://www.skadden.com/insights/publications/2024/06/cfpb-applies-credit-card-rules
Next: creating a registry of habitual corporate criminals. This rogues gallery will make it harder for other agencies – like the DOJ – and state Attorneys General to offer bullshit "delayed prosecution agreements" to companies that compulsively rip us off:
https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-creates-registry-to-detect-corporate-repeat-offenders/
Then there's the rule against "fine print deception" – which is when the fine print in a contract lies to you about your rights, like when a mortgage lender forces you waive a right you can't actually waive, or car lenders that make you waive your bankruptcy rights, which, again, you can't waive:
https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-warns-against-deception-in-contract-fine-print/
As Kuttner writes, the common thread running through all these orders is that they ban deceptive practices – they make it illegal for companies to steal from us by lying to us. Especially in these dying days of class action suits – rapidly becoming obsolete thanks to "mandatory arbitration waivers" that make you sign away your right to join a class action – agencies like the CFPB are our only hope of punishing companies that lie to us to steal from us.
There's a lot of bad stuff going on in the world right now, and much of it – including an active genocide – is coming from the Biden White House.
But there are people in the Biden Administration who care about the American people and who are effective and committed fighters who have our back. What's more, they're winning. That doesn't make all the bad news go away, but sometimes it feels good to take a moment and take the W.
If you'd like an essay-formatted version of this post to read or share, here's a link to it on pluralistic.net, my surveillance-free, ad-free, tracker-free blog:

this is my most autistic half-birthday ever!
I gave myself the day to pursue a special interest and fulfill an offer I'd made last year.
The Jewish Virtual Library has a page listing all the rocket and mortar attacks on Israel since 2001 (which was when they first started). But it's incomplete. Last fall, I noticed it stopped in August, so I wrote to them offering to help update it. They thanked me and gave me some places I could look.
Today, I finally did it. I ended up cross-referencing with the lists on Wikipedia, digging through multiple Twitter accounts and outside news sources and NGOs, and sending them an email with my updates... plus an html file where I'd updated the code on the page so they could just check it and upload it instead of typing in all the data themselves.
I am such a huge nerd.
There's definitely more research to do. But I think I found a strong stopping place that let me actually send what I found and post about it. Which is always the hardest part. As my drafts folder could tell you.
I have more than two thousand drafts on here.
Anyway, I'm going to put my findings under a cut tag. Before you read on, I want you to try to guess.
Because one of the things I've been told most often by people who wanna Argue About Palestine Without Having To Learn Anything About Palestine (Or Israel Or History Or Imperialism Or Fact-Checking Or ?????) is that the reason for October 7, the reason for literally anything in fact, is that "Israel bombs Palestine constantly."
I want to put together a list of Israeli airstrikes next. I would love to reblog this with that information. But first, I want you to guess:
Note that this DOES NOT include terrorist car rammings, mass shootings, mass stabbings, bus bombings, suicide bombings, etc. It therefore excludes almost the entire Second Intifada.
After correcting the most recent four years and sending in my corrections, I made a list of the totals using the most complete collection I could find for each year. (Sometimes it was Jewish Virtual Library, sometimes it was Wikipedia, and sometimes they matched.)
2024: 12,629 (an average of 35 per day)
2023: 12,295 (34 per day)
2022: 1,180 (only 3 per day)
2021: 4,425 (12 per day)
2020: about 203
2019: 798+
2018: 348+, 0.95 per day
2017: Only 47!!! Why, it's almost like living in Canada!! 0.1 per day.
2016: Wow, only 20. See, if you go through the years backwards, it looks like progress is being made. Very exciting. Until I get to the Second Intifada, probably. 0.05 per day.
2015: 58.
2014: oh right, that war. 4,778. (Wikipedia's 2015 list claims " In August 2014, Operation Protective Edge was ended after 4,594 rockets and mortars launched toward Israel. From the end of the operation came into force an unofficial cease-fire between Israel and Hamas." but there were three more after that, and 181 before it, listed on wikipedia alone. so like. 4,778 actually, for 13 a day.)
2013: 70 total. Wikipedia notes this was the lowest number since 2001.
2012: 2,442, or 6.7 per day.
2011: 680, for 1.9 a day.
2010: 365, for exactly one a day.
2009: 858, or 2.4 per day.
2008: 3,107! that's 8.5 a day.
2007: 2,807: 7.7 a day.
2006: 1,275, or 3.5 a day.
2005: 858. An average of 2.4 per day.
2004: 1,158.
2003: 637.
2002: 472.]
2001: "These attacks commenced in April 2001, although the first rocket to hit an Israeli city was on 5 March 2002, and the first Israeli fatality was 28 June 2004." I count 173 mortar attacks in 2001, however. Which makes the first fatality a critically-injured baby in 2001. And as soon as I make 250+ more edits and have the power to edit Wikipedia articles on "controversial" topics, I'll make it say so.
Grand Total: 51,685.
An average of SIX PER DAY.
FOR 24 YEARS.
I've been saying four.
But there were actually thousands that weren't listed on the Virtual Library site yet. It really cranked up that average.
Now consider this: between 10%-30% misfire and either crash into the sea, or hit Gaza.
A surprising number of Gazan casualties in every "conflict" have been from Hamas & Co's own missiles.
And they know this. And not only do they not care, but they keep using everything from mosques to humanitarian zones as rocket launch sites.
And why shouldn't they? You have to really dig to find information on how many Gazans die that way. Almost everyone just attributes the deaths to Israel. Hamas is never going to get any actual flak for accidentally killing its own civilians. It barely gets any flak for intentionally killing Israeli civilians, for pete's sake.

HOPELESS FROM THE LEFT RIGHTS IS A PRE-MSI SONG AND IT'S THE EARLIEST RECORD EVER BY JAMES EURINGER (1989)
BEAR WITH ME STAY TIL THE END I SWEAR THIS THEORY MAKES SENSE. I can't draw so I just be typing words🤣🤣😂😂
First off, this theory isn't mine, but from a reddit user in a 2021 post, Most I'm doing is bringing this up to you guys in a more ""condensed way"". (I finished and I realized I just made it longer fuck me)
We know Jimmy has a habit of saving songs for later releases, like with YRTA and IF. But I don’t think Hopeless is a track that was made 4 or 6 years ago for the album. I actually think it’s from about 20 years before Bad Choices Made Easy (2010), and it's an 89-90's song and here’s why
1-Jimmy's voice and singing style belong more to the PINK /Tight era than the HIL or even YRTA era
Jimmy's voice at 40 is deeper and more mature than when he was 20, along with a different singing style.
I'll leave a comparison of Eat Those Words (2013), Panty Shot (1997), Pussy all night (1998) and finally Hopeless (circa 1989).
1-40 yo Jimmy vs 20 yo Jimmy
2-Jimmy's high notes and falsettos in the 90s
3-Hopeless
2-Michael Andrew Pascal, pre-MSI friend of Jimmy could be in this song and is credited on The Left Rights:
In the screenshots of old copyrighted songs by James Euringer pre-1990, we can see he has the pseudonym of "JAMES NEMO", while also Steve and a Michael Pascal guy are also here.
James is credited for words, music, performance, arrangement
Steve is credited for music, performance, and arrangement
Pascal is also credited for arrangement and performance, meaning that Pascal was physically involved in the songs of these times (singing or dancing along with James and Steve).
(This also appears on Jimmy Urine's page on the MSI wikipedia, the songs are all around 1989 max. )
Now, listen to the beginning of Hopeless again. Do you recognize three different voices? It seems like Andrew starts with the 'Here we go, break it down' part James says 'No bass, no synth, just da beats' in a peppy voice and sings 'I met this girl and she was so fine,' and then Steve delivers the 'I've traveled far, I've met the girlies' part (?) or maybe it's the 'I love 'em and leave 'em! I shove 'em and heave 'em' line. (To be honest, I'm not really familiar with Steve's voice u_u).
On top of that, look who is credited in the Thank you section of Bad Choices made easy (scan by Cain @tghtr )
The original poster said that Andrew Pascal is credited here, but not in the rest of the thank you sections of MSI albums, I don't have MSI's whole discography to check their Thank you sections, but for people that do, I encourage to check this up yourselves!
3-They don't sound like they're in a studio:
You can clearly hear a reverb at the beginning of the song because it doesn’t seem like they’re in a studio, but rather in an empty room. It's not a reverb done digitally. This could be because it was just a casual recording, something you’d record on a cassette tape recorder. All 1989 recordings of Jimmy are put under the category of "sound cassette"
Considering this, there are high chances that Hopeless is the EARLIEST RECORD of Jimmy Urine singing, being 1989, even before Pink. Could also not be 1989 if Andrew was still around making beats with Jimmy but weren't copyrighted in the site, James Nemo is still registered in max 1993. But the songs where Andrew is included are max 1989.
Jimmy said multiple times that he re-uses old songs if they sound good to him. So this wouldn't be new, but still fascinating.
This is getting too long brother they dont pay me enough, like and reblog if u read allat and lmk what do u think 😱

BBC NEWS • SHORT STORIES
MEET YN YLN May 29, 2017

Yn Yln has been making her mark in the industry.
From detailed writing on fashion pieces to analyzing the newest models of F1 cars, Yn Yln is racing through the internet.
Yln told the BBC it was her bursting of emotions that first got her to write.
Her love of fashion was what started her journey. She put up her first blog up in 2010 titled “Layering”. Yln showcased several ways to style for the winter which skyrocketed her blog.
She then wrote about the racing sport. Yln mentioned a friend of hers raced and that is where her writing started to flourish.
“He just got me really interested in the sport that I couldn’t go a week without writing whether Hamilton got a win or modifications had been made to the sport.”
The writer got her first issue in Vogue out this May 11th. The issue was about her sister, Kylie Yln, and her entrepreneurship.
But while she has achieved much beyond her years, Yln has much more ahead of her. She continues to help the writing industry advance and flourish.

charles_leclerc I remember watching Formula 1 being younger and dreaming of one day being part of it. I can't believe this day has arrived and that I will be racing with Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team for the 2018 Formula 1 World Championship. I am hugely thankful to all the people who have been involved in my path to Formula 1.
A special thought to my father that did absolutly everthing for me to get there and to Jules that also helped me massively, I wish you two were here to see that but l'm sure you will follow me from up there.
A special thank you to the Ferrari Drivers Academy/Scuderia Ferrari, my sponsors/partners, Nicolas Todt/All Road Management, my family, all the people close to me during all these years & obviously Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team for giving me this opportunity.
Also, a special thank you to (your initial). This is also for you and I’m proud of you.🤍
Still a long way to go to my second dream..! So back to work and see vou in Melbourne 🏎️

Charles Leclerc explains reasons behind #16 F1 number choice
december 13, 2017

Since he was young, Leclerc has been dreamt of his future in being an F1 driver, as well as his future number.
The 20 year old driver explains it has always been the number he was going to pick.
“There is too much emotional connection for me to not pick this number. I hold this number deep in my heart and the person who helped me achieve everything, is mainly the reason. I hope to do the number well and give it justice.”
He has yet to specify who he is talking about but fans would guess a close friend. READ MORE…

it was nerve shaking for both yn and charles to come into the paddock knowing the other would be there but they both walked in with confidence.
with charles in his rookie season, many interviewers were trying to get his input on it. he searched the faces for that one (y/h/c) but proceeded to answer questions while walking.
as he started to leave the group, he had the urge to turn around. and when he did, he was met with those (y/e/c) and nostalgia.
the interviewers started to disperse, getting in his line of vision for a moment before they were focues on her.
this was his second shot and he was not going to waste it.

The Vatican: Human Trafficking Hub
The Vatican Underground- Cleared
The Dulce Base- Underground Cleared
The Area 51 Underground Base- Cleared
Orion Group ❌ (Defeated)
Ciakharr Group ❌ (Defeated)
Killy Tokurt Group ❌ (Defeated)
These are the three main factions responsible for the
The CIA is connected to the Killy Tokurt Ops. They are the one who specialize in soul scalping. This is how our government leaders were replaced. Removing the light body & soul and replacing it with a physical vessel void of any connection to source.
Sherry Shriner covered this in many videos/audios. Megan Rose spoke about this in one of her books. Corey Goode is also another source who spoke on the caste system of the Ciakharr who are the top elite in their race.
Remember when I mentioned that people were not ready once they found out who have been eating the children? Guess what was the capitol for the "Child Sex Trafficking" breeding hub?
The Vatican.
Do you remember the story or report that came out in July of 2019 where thousands of bones was unearthed in two ossuaries discovered in the Vatican City, as part of an ongoing search for clues into the disappearance of a 15-year-old girl more than three decades ago in 1983?
Do you remember the mass grave full of baby bones found along the shores of Israel's Mediterranean coast, in the ancient seaport of Ashkelon in 2014?
Do you remember An Indigenous group said the remains of as many as 751 people, mainly children, had been found in unmarked graves on the site of a former boarding school in Saskatchewan?
As a matter of fact that was a 2,300 page document that leaked that verified Pope Francis’ cover up of a Vatican Pedophile Ring. Did you know 20 Chilean Priests who went public on their connection to that very same Pedophile Ring, were killed in a plane crash right after their meeting with Pope Francis?
Back on July 20 2014 the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels found defendants Pope Francis Bergoglio, Catholic Jesuit Superior General Adolfo Pachon and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby guilty of rape, torture, murder and the trafficking of children. (Nothing Is Happening?)
I highly doubt it.
Two adolescent women told the ICLCJ Court that Pope Francis raped them while participating in child sacrifices during the Springs of 2009 and 2010 in rural Holland and Belgium. According to a former employee of the Curia in Rome, rapes and murders of children also took place at the Carnarvon Castle in Wales and an undisclosed French Chateau.
A Prosecutor introduced notarized affidavits by eight others claiming to witness these same crimes organized by the Vatican. Another witness testified that they were present during meetings with the then Argentine priest and Bishop Francis and the military Junta during Argentine’s 1970′s Dirty War.
According to the witness, Francis helped traffic 30,000 children of missing political prisoners into the Vatican Pedophile Ring.
Do you know why this has taken so long? If you knew how vast these underground tunnels are you would understand why certain EOs signed by D. Trump kept getting extensions.
The Military at some point will disclose the battles that went underground.
The weapons used.
The strategies used.
The entries/exits used.
The medical technology used.
The portals/gateways that were used.
You got a glimpse of this during the fight that went on underground with the Phil Schneider lectures that still can be found on YouTube about the Dulce extraterrestrial confrontation that resulted in lives being lost and him being scarred from it.
People are only looking at the human aspect of this process. They are not looking at this as governments officials serving a unknown species that want world dominion who is an entire different secret government whose base are in these DUMBS-(Deep Underground Military Bases) who control all of our 3 letter agencies who are middlemen/conduits who these covert species use to control Washington. 🤔

Hair headcanons? Hair headcanons.
Some notes I made for myself that I'll probably end up changing at some point. But I love age progression stuff so I thought I'd share.
Littol
Wispy, almost white hair
~ 5/6 years old
Gradually darkens to gray; thickens a bit
~ 10 years old
Gets thicker, twins start letting their hair grow longer (I'm almost thinking of that 2010's hairstyle that was popular, if y'all get me)
Teens
Facial hair starts coming in around 15/16, though it's patchy. Emmet gets hair on his chin first and is verrrry smug about it.
Hair is shorter again but they keep the long sideburns.
20s
Sideburns grown out fully
Hairline starts receding (a genetic tragedy)
Late 20s/Early 30s
Ingo starts trimming the hair on top of his head a bit closer to his hairline because it's easier to keep nice with a hat.
Emmet is in denial and tries to save what he has.
30s/Hisui
Both twins grow out their facial hair so they see something a little different in their reflections.
Nutrition is harder for Ingo to maintain in Hisui (along with no doubt working through some stress and depression), so the hair on his head really thins out because of it. Facial hair game stays strong, though.
He's not a fan of shaving with a knife so his hair gets borderline unruly. Only trims when his hair really bugs him.
He had a ponytail for a while but Gliscor kept trying to chomp on it whenever he wasn't wearing his coat.
When Akari/Rei comes around and Ingo starts posting up at the dojo, he does start making a better effort on his appearance again.
Emmet went through a stint where he let go of himself for a while, but support from friends and family got him back on track. The stress and grief of Ingo's disappearance still leaves its mark.
Post-Hisui
Ingo looks physically better due to access to more accessible nutrition again (and better hair products).
He tames his wild mountain man look once and for all, but both he and Emmet keep their silly little beards.
#submas#pokemon emmet#pokemon ingo#warden ingo#myart#I love me some thick-haired twins but I think my (hair)style of submas is inspired by one of my brothers#who unfortunately was nearly half-bald by the time he hit his mid twenties rip#ingo and emmet wear hats all the time so it's fine anyway! XD

Unlisted Fandoms Challenge
While we pull together the post on the various types of fan labor being offered so far, here's a quick update on the *hundreds* of write-in fandoms we've received ...
At the top of the list we have Jeff Satur holding onto the lead with 7 entries, but Zhen Hun/Guardian is right on his heels with 6. And then there's a three-way tie for third place with 5 write-ins each for BBC Ghosts, Control (Remedy Game), and Dungeon Meshi / Delicious In Dungeon. Schitt's Creek claims fourth place with 4 entries, and in fifth there's a 14-way tie:

Below the cut are the 133 fandoms that have so far received only ONE signup. Want to really shake things up? Get two more signups for any of these and watch them leap into the fray on the leader board ...

Scene: Gas station / Convenience store, post 10 PM so my drawer is being intentionally kept as light as possible. $50 tops. This was also like 2010, just so the prices make more sense loooool inflation, love it Customer: Can you break a $100 for $20 in gas? Me: Not unless you're also buying $60 worth of snacks. Customer, with that dumb look they get when they think they've out smarted you at a game you've been playing for years: Fine. Here, fill 'er up, doc. He hands me the $100 bill, I look out to the only vehicle at the pumps- a motorcycle. Me, very pointedly not taking the $100 bill: Do you have a gas can with you? I'm not sure you could *fit* twenty bucks into just that. Customer: Don't worry about it, just fill her up. Me: So, what, $5? I just told you I couldn't break less than $80 and you're trying to pass off for $5? Customer: You're just gonna have to figure it out, aren't you, sweet cheeks? Me, very much wanting to kill this man but choosing to remain professional: I mean... the best I can do for you is to put this cash on a gift card, which you CAN redeem for gas at any of our stations and you can recharge it when it runs out. Otherwise, I can't help you. Customer: How am I supposed to buy groceries with a gift card to a [Gas Station]? Me: Perhaps you should consider buying groceries first, and then coming back with the smaller change to buy your gas? There's a Malwart right behind us. Customer: How am I supposed to put groceries on my [motorcycle], huh? Me: I dunno, man, I'm just trying to help you out the best I can. Customer: Just sell me a gallon so I can go somewhere with staff who knows what to do. Me: Sure. Do you have $2? Because I can't give you $98 back. Customer, aggressively slamming the 100 on the counter and shoving it at me, then folding his arms like he can intimidate me into having cash to break it: It's legal tender, you HAVE to take it. Me: So we're gonna go the gas card option, or...? Customer, grabs the cash off the counter while cursing me out, then goes out to the pumps and tries to pump without paying. When a customer did that, a notification would pop up on our terminal asking for authorization to pump before paying due to a simply archaic fleet card system (we called it 'freeflowing'). I just kept denying it over and over for like ten minutes before he gave up. Apparently other coworkers had similar experiences with the guy, one of which took out her own wallet and traded his big bill for her emergency stash of 20's. I had to explain to her all the ways that's a TERRIBLE idea. I kind of wonder if that's what he was expecting from me.

I made Yuuna into kind of a "blank slate" for the most part so I can be more flexible with them when it comes to just random stuff.
They are somewhat my more canon-compliant Yuu, which means that I use them more as a stand-in for the in-game story. (But I still add a lot of aspects that are way more biased to relationships with Heartslabyul.)
Yuuna is also inspired by various Alice in Wonderland characters because I like the idea that the prefect is just "Alice" in a Twisted Wonderland.
Fun fact! Their birthday is also when I started playing TWST.

💝 Yuuna shares Grim's appetite, the Ramshackle duo are similar to one another in a lot of ways. On top of that, Yuuna is just very protective of him because he is basically like family to Yuuna. They would defend Grim from others no matter what.
💝 They consider Heartslabyul their second home in NRC. They love everyone the most there. Yuuna is essentially an honorary member of the dorm anyway since they always visit. They are always invited to their dorm events such as their Unbirthday parties.
💝 Yuuna has respect for Leona as an older brother -figure. After the Octavinelle incident, Yuu was more comfortable frequently crashing Leona’s room with Grim often to just “chill and hang out” (with help from Ruggie through bribery until eventually it just became normal when Leona began to mildly tolerate them).
💝 Yuuna only grew to like taking photos after being given the Ghost Camera. They now have the habit of taking photos of everyone and everything. Memories to keep for the future just in case…
💝 Usually would be soft-spoken and would keep their mouth shut, at least when it comes to people they’re not particularly close with. But the things they say can pack a punch whenever they decide to be blunt to others or simply whenever they tease those who they consider their friends.
💝 Yuuna, despite their own feelings towards another person, always chooses to be amicable. It’s no wonder why they seemingly managed to have some kind of a good rapport with most people due to their kind and forgiving nature. After all, what is the point of holding grudges?
💝 This “kindness” of theirs can also be mistaken as malicious as sometimes it can result in something just to spite others. Is their kindness coming from a genuine place? Well, yeah. At least Yuuna believes so. Which means at some points, that sentiment may not be true despite what Yuuna thinks.
💝 Deep down, they don’t believe themselves to be inherently kind. So Yuuna chooses to be. To the best of their abilities at least.
💝 Generally the mediator and prefers to avoid conflict. However, they are not against picking a fight when necessary, especially when it comes to their friends.
💝 Every now and then (if the consequences aren’t too big to handle or if they could get away with it), Yuuna indulges in a little bit (a lot) of chaos and tomfoolery.
💝 Has no memories of where they come from but this does not bother them at all in the slightest and they don’t know why. Yuuna is more bothered by the fact that it doesn’t bother them.
💝 Yuuna has a preference for gender-neutral terms but generally doesn’t care if they are referred to as anything else. They also like to express themselves as more feminine regardless of their identity.
